I've been a while with updating on my adventure mode stuff because I don't really know what to do what with being stuck on an island with a few hundred elves. So far I've been singing songs to recruit them into my band.

Maddie, I hope you're well. Just to tell you that the last chapter was so 🥹, what I see there is light at the end of the road? I know it's hard for both of them to be well overnight and Max has a lot to compensate Charles for his highly dubious behavior. I feel that Max still has to give a more elaborate explanation of why he decided that he wanted Charles to be afraid of him or why he treated him the way he treated him, because as Charles himself has said in previous chapters, it is a very grotesque way of treating the person you love and that still confuses Charles. I feel it's the last thing needed for Charles to fully trust Max. But I trust the process!!! Now that Max finally said what he felt, I trust that he would show himself as he really is and stop pretending and it will be tender and loving! (Or so I hope hahaha). And well, Charles also has to apologize, but he is the main victim of this story, so his faults are a little more forgivable 😅.

Now, my questions are, will we have more scenes of Charles Protector like in chapter 19?? Because it fill my heart that he defends Max, especially from Jos, I think no one has ever defended him and it is something so 🥹🥹🥹🥹. I feel that now every moment between them will hit like a crack. And will there be more possessive and jealous Charles like in chapter 15? That was gold and five chapters later he still didn't get over it hahaha and we will have more confessions from Max about what he feels for Charles??

as for protector Charles ... yeah 🥹🥹 Charles starting to take Max's side in things is so precious to me. Max is so in awe every time!!

and of course more jealous Charles, though off the top of my head I can't think of any moments where he'll be THAT possessive/jealous.

and confessions from Max ... well a few in words, but mostly in actions now. As Charles starts to see the true intentions behind Max's actions, he'll see how each one is its own little confession.

Been working with cardboard ALOT lately,(straying far from my usual exclusively graphite medium) and i thought some of you might like these lil guys.

The one with a face was the og, but lost his leg when he came with me to see alien ramulous, so i made him a wheelchair!!

Then i made him a friend, cant have him be lonely right? And now im working on a very small lil guy, v excited to finish but i am running out of gmm videos.

Interweave Knits, Fall 2022

 This issues includes 2 cardigans, one of which is the beefy, belted one on the cover called Susurrous Cardigan by Olya Mikesh in Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted. This is a wool yarn and this cardigan uses six colors of yarn and is a 3 out of 4 for difficult.

There are 4 pullover sweaters and my favorite is the Ramulose Pullover by Nadya Stallings. It has both vertical ribs and horizontal stripes, but I think skipping the latter makes more sense unless you really like a boxy look. Then if you left the color change at the raglan shoulders and at the sides, you would be repeating the vertical lines of the ribbing and still get some color play. It is a 3 out of 4 for difficult. It is done in Green Mountain Spinnery Sylvan Spirit which is a wool and Tencel blend.  

3 hats including the color-work Peiskos Tam by Tonia Lyons which is also on the cover in the small photo on the left. This tam features 8 colors in Harrisville Designs Shetland yarns especially oranges and greens. This is a 3 out of 4 for difficulty but there is a nice big chart of the pattern included. The other interesting hat is the Sirimiri Slouchy Hat by Danieli Nii which has elongated stitches created by wrapping the yarn around the needle multiple times. It is a 3 out of 4 for difficulty. It is done in dark blue and paler blue using The Fibre Co. Road to China Light and Cirro. Both are blends so you get a real mix of fibers from alpaca, camel and cashmere to wool and silk.  

There are also 2 sock patterns, an article on The Fiber Mill in Stromsburg, NE which processes wool fiber from around the United States  and a technical article by Kyle Kunnecke on steeking, or cutting, a knitted sweater in order to finish the opening with buttonholes or a zipper, plus the usual columns on yarns and products.

Chapter 2: Climbing the tree to success

Tree climbing is intersting in adventure mode.

You press [h] to grab the trunk and then climb up using a menu like a scaled down version of combat.

I climb up even further to see if I can meet any important elves. i need to make some connections.
