back in the kubera hole N5! It all connects to N5 AAAAARRRREGGGGAGAGAGAGAGAAAAAAAAAA
All the events of n5 connect. Leez summoning kubera and wishing for an illusion of her village, kaz and lehn being the sons of prison escapee. Asha offered power of love by killing/sparing rao leez trying but failing. God (former) kubera giving choices to both mirha in the water channel and to crash the ship. Vishnu (?) Killing game with asha and mirha. And then i got spoiled and they all timetravel or something
3.277 huh mirha can now hear asura sura speech. Did she get hit or not? Her legs hurt but there is no wound. Wait this is the guilt spear. The irony of mirhas dilemma is that in the other timeline its ruche who summons vayu
taking the 3rd option, seeing beyond the lines of gods and nastika and now the worth of a life equal to a universe. Baby mirha gets it.
Oh how the tables have turned with maruna and ran. Oh maruna is so stupid
This is what i love about kubera everyone has an agenda. Will vayu follow brahma or try to kill one of the kuberas?
Currygom wants me to remember what happened 200 chapters ago. Right ran is sus. Back then i thought it was because of the timelines merging but i dont remember the sequence of events anymore
That vitra side story got to me. Also interesting that they identified leez as ananta and maru a as aruna. Vitra slept through the whole universe and has no clue what is going on and yet has a better understanding than most
289. I feel bad for the rakshasas getting shoved into the meat grinder. Also raltara messing up this timelines chaos succession because she is older and has the exact same parents as jatayu. Woah so yutas eyes are connected back to both kali and garuda
290. Wayyyy back when samphati revealed that akasha sacrificed herself fighting taraka for samphati to survive and thus it implied that the one who gave maruna the eye of punishment was kali. But then its revealed that akasha struck a deal with taraka and has been working with them. So here i dont know if akasha ever actually died or if that is tarakafied akasha.
Oh yeah since maruna lost the name aruna and gained maruna i guess that freed up the name aruna and saved him from being killed liked his older siblings. Lol so kalavinka was the destined powerful child this whole time which makes sense she got all the special god tutelage.
Wow so brahma left things at the top too and became distorted like indra.
293. God kubera: i broke samsara and destroyed eternity now fight for your lives.
294. You could make an entire tv show out of Asura and Ravana's relationship. I find them interesting huh so they do care about each other. Two of the most selfish characters in the series each trying to sacrifice themselves for the other.
295 brahma gives up on this universe and goes all in on resurrecting ananta. This is interesting for the gods and shows the split between those like vayu who follow brahma and those making their own decisions
Its all N5? Always has been
I have the suspicion that Vitra recognizes something of Kinnara even after she changed her name to Airavata. He pegged Maruna as Aruna and Leez as Ananta. It would help explain why he dove into the chasm after new Airavata and how she turned up unconscious but unharmed in the human realm.

more kubera thoughts
I've long accepted that currygom is a conservative so the gay people arent real didnt surprise me much but really sometimes she gets so close to understanding only to turn away at the last second.
Anyways side story between first and second. Kinaras prevailing characterization really is violent insecurity. She felt jealous of airavatas friends and felt airavata was having more fun without her so started hanging out with vitra then couldnt stand having a weaker name and stole airacatas name.
Airavata was in love with kinara and changed their sex to female to avoid being attracted to kinara (oh currygom). As others have pointed out it seems like the #1 and #2 of each clan were designed to fall in love / be attracted to each other / be each other's first loves. Garuda and original Taraka (raltara's mom), original Kinara and original Airavata, Yaksha and Jambavan, Asura and Ravana, Ananta and Manasa. And minus asura and ravana all these have ended poorly due to primevals manipulating the universe to correct perceived mistakes and shape the future to their plans. Taraka was too powerful airavata was draining kinaras power, yaksha jambavan and shuri were deemed unable to exist in the same universe. Manasa was engulfed by sins and had her name shattered. All of them pawns to reach the "best" outcome for the sake of the universe.
Menaka was the original Gandharva and her first love was Urvasi who is the current #3 and it's implied Urvasi continued to love Menaka through Menka's marriage to Gandharva up until his death by the taraka clan in the sidestory water's shadow.
Vitra? I dont know. I read speculation that the reason vitra is now obsessed with fighting Taksaka is because of a lingering crush amplified by the emotional dulling of the dragons but ehhh not enough info on this one.

Eyyy another year has past and its time for another kubera bunge.
I change favorite characters like every year and this year in addition to yaksha i think its ananta i need to reread that entire part again.
That sequence with ran and ananta's shed skin about choosing the lives if his family or 109 strangers. But then theres a scene with rana that was seen earlier and im confused. Initially i though the rana ran scene was the future/present while the last like 100 chapters have been flash back but then that talk about ran living in the real universe got me confused. Is that actually from that doomed n23. Raltara is there?
We already knew that kubera crossed over from the previous universe but now kalavinka and marut imply he's the cheerleader for the destruction of the universe and losers of the previous universe. He seems to gave mixed feelings about his situation. I remember there were rumors jibril summoned agni but it was kibera she summoned? I thought you needed triple attributes how did firefirefire jibril do it. Or could it be that as a cheerleader he has a separate name and jibeil summoned that name. Did leez time travel again to summon kubera? That makes 3? 4? 5? Times she's saved her own life and drastically altered the course of history. Ah eline told her of a different summoning method.
Oh yeah and we got confirmation raltara's mom was taraka the nastika name kali took so i guess raltara and yuta are full siblings. That is mind its not surprising raltara can have a tarakafied form. Not sure what it has to do with marut.
wait. Ran's wish on the eye of punishment might have led maryna to carry the sins assigned to rao and develope. Also dumbass ran here equips it onto himself.
Wait the pink text bubbles were the voices of vigor/ancient humans why is akasha also speaking in that color?
oh currygom we all know you're a homophobe. How can a series be so gay yet so painfully straight. Gee huh a spcies that can change sex at will and many do so frequently yet in romantic relationships its always one man and woman. Currygom bending over backwards to make things straight. Or all the nastika changing sexes to avoid being attracted to someone because of course men would be attracted to women. Or petupan who who prefers female form but lives it male form for the power and of course hanuman then has to change to female form to be in a relationship with petupan
"
Those who feel attraction to the opposite sex
Those who are attracted to females no matter their own sex
Those who feel sexual attraction to females when they are male, but feel no attraction when they are female
Those who feel attraction no matter the sex of both parties
Those who feel sexual attraction to males when they are female, but feel no attraction when they are a male
Those who are attracted to males no matter their own sex
Those who do not feel sexual attraction no matter the sex of both parties (Doesn't mean they don't feel any at all).
Out of all the nastikas, the proportion of #1 is the most abundant, and it goes down in order, with #7 being the least common."
So women are super desirable is this universe. What. Also as noted by others to currygom it is inconceivable that some people would only be attracted to those of the same gender/sex. "I haven't even thought that there could be instances like that" currygom really be like gay people arent real, but i already knew she was a conservative. At least ace people exist in this universe.
I was mad about yaksha dying before but now im like quadruple mad. In the words of two redditors:
"One of [Yaksha, Shuri, Jamba] had to die. Jamba was easiest because it would make Yaksha peaceful and want to give his body away like she did, which leads to Ran getting the heart."
"They straight up told Yaksha that "remember that guy who you're living to meet? He's not gonna exist if you repair your heart, so just die to Asura". "
And about the prievals making ananta the time axis: "they gave him the view of a "player" and didn't let him make decisions. Everything was scripted and chosen for him, only letting him have the delusion of free choice and had him bear the burden. Exactly what Ran accused The will-to-live skin of. No wonder he chose to blow up."
Yeh i'd try and destroy the universe too. They first kill his most important person because its easiest of the 3 then give him a reason to live just long enough so they can kill him with that same reason and have his bones and heart be useful in n23. Yaksha lived and died so ran could get a powerup so that visnu and brahma could have a more powerful card to play in n23. And all the places yaksha's bones were plot relevent like khroha's death. it was also probably to get yaksha out of the way. Yaksha deserved better… Cute little catboy grandpa...
this happens on all my binge reads but i am once again losing it

im rereading kubera (again) and AAAA! love how maruna's character development kicks in at the most inconvenient of times. old maruna wouldnt have question the path he was set on nor leaving yuta-puppet behind, but this maruna is having a moral dilemma and struggles to let this yuta die. ok yup kali totally stole raltaras moms name to have yuta. ahh remember those far off days when ran was the idiot slapstick comic relief and maruna was the broody violent one? visni? kali? someone setup yuta to use the eye and yet god kubera is pushing maruna to rebel. its taken me 10 years but i have finally come around to liking mr. chicken. aa. final moments scene got me crying.
i still done get time. its not an attribute. people talk about it likes its a person. vinsu, ananta, and leez are wrapped up in this somehow.
maruna is so stupid. his brain is just small. please enan... he's stupid, take pity on him.
it reoccured to me that this series follows the lives of extraordinary people. there are few average people in the cast and those that are are like tertiary characters.
. rereading part of s1 and gandharva never started a fight befor? i cant remeber with agni but oh has he started fights before. "you never attacked anyone before without a good reason" blatant lies! but i suppose it does appeal to the current gandharva that thinks he's changed.
musings on compassion. rewards incentives justice.
so we did get confirmation (well yama suspects among other hints) that indra caused the lightning storm that killed bb aruna. huh the spear didnt hurt indra, he's been getting everyone else to do his dirty work
i want to give ananta a hug. he deserves to be put out to pasture and retire in the countryide.
how does one obtain a contract with taksaka? he's always napping in the sura world and i cant see him wanting anything to do with humans.
saw someone say kubera is shaping maruna to be able to bear the weight of the name ananta and the sins of the universe and that certainly would explain kuberas recent actions. hooboy.
oh great rao leez is wrapped in this somehow
indra totally shoved the blame onto the nastikas. if yama cant even correct the information is it because he is a lower zen god?
i really want to give ananta a hug
yuuup here we again. what is good in a universe where good is defined for you. 1 long lived universe or many universes? when the various characters say "got the sake of the universe" i don't think they all are talking about the same thing.
i think sagara's various lovers (and ananta) should unionize, ditch her, and date each other. she'd hate it and that'd be funny.
thinking about it, the 1st sura kings survived most of the universe. ananta died only 500 years ago, asura is alive, gandharva is weakened but alive, garuda is alive and was active 500 years ago, kinnara is alive and has taken airavatas name, vritra is alive, and yaksha died within the last 60,000 years.
i cant tell if kubera is lying or not about every action being for the sake of ananta
3-231 and 3-232 ananta 20 and 21 have been insane chapters. im crying and crying some more. ANANTA! TTATT. And rao leez is the new sin container? what a twist. and then kinara's seeminly transfered a nastika name onto a human??
so ananta has been taking rao on multiple time traveling dventures
ananta implies he is the owner of the temple of time and that Rao Leez is to be its new owner. So far time has been associted with white wisps, bat here Ananta is surrounded by black wisps.
someone reminded me. asha kills rao leez in n5 but hecs declared missing. is that when ananta scatched him? rao mentions ananta saving him from dying and ananta says rao can not return to his time
back season 1? gandharva reflects how he was friends with garuda shuri, and vishnu. vishnu was almost certainly there to manipulate things. shuri from what we've seen of her seems both wise and kind and i find it hard to imagine her being friends with gandharva even a gandgarva that had given up massacring humans.
does leez start time hopping like ananta. the true universe depends on where she is and she's taking on enough sin to break the golden knight.
scanlations end at 3-234 so pad from here on out
if google is translating correctly, a Korean commentator speculates that Maruna's key to development might be his desire to protect. 3rd stage to keep pace with kalavinka to protect her. 4th stage to protect samphati from a taraka. and it also goes from sibling to another clan member he cares about. maybe rao a human is his key to 5th stage. this last part im not so sure on buts its an interesting thought
ah yup leez totally took on anantas role as the time traveling sin bin. aruna, maruna, ... garuda? wow so this is when maruna developes but it's it from him competing with two like he says or to protect leez and not pass on sins from father to daughter? oho the sins of Time.
.all this time i thought tilda was a yaksha half. during the beach episode flashback in the extras about how yalsha quarters are into fluffy tails and ears (yaksha clan sura characteristics), lutz is daydreaming about tilda. but she's a kinnara half??? she really could be related to the human kinnaea-airavata gave her name to using the spear. like we all know something is up with tilda and if she's somehow related to a nastika name that would explain why yuta wanted to eat her.

the weight of time, the other side, enemy 6. webtoons up to the other side 10
alright back to kubera, timey wimey shenanigans and maruna growing a conscious.
so kuberas one of those series where spoilers dont change the experience so i knew yaksha was going to show up but ah im so excited yaksha and og airavata??? thank you currygom. oh yeah and we got more on brilith's soul's past i guess.
huh so the ancient human cycle of reincarnation is breaking down. ptsd is being inherited across lives. humans were suppose to regain memories of their past lives when their minds and bodies were fully matured but violent deaths are leading to them regaining their memories before their minds are ready to deal with the trauma and as a result instead trraging each life seperately like we saw with the humans maruna interacted with, the humans ran meets there is no seperation between one life and the next its bluring together and thr grudges are growing as people life out the past. I love it!
...thats ananta. damn currygom is going HARD this arc, all the big names are here. also i just love ananta, yaksha, and og airavata having a breakfast club. ananta is half way to having the dead anime mom hair but joking aside the two foofy braids are super cute. currygom.... why you keep killing off all the nice ones... oh no yaksha has bad regeneration doesnt he... ok i just spent a week with a literal toddler and yeah gandharva
ok i cant tell how much of this heart talk is metaphorical and how much is literal ie yaksha physical heart is effecting ran emotionally. now that i think about it why is hanuman in their female form in the current timeline. wait maruna couldnt interact with another alive in the current time but ran can? i love yaksha why are all my favorite characters doomed. LET ME PROTECT THE CUTE OLD MAN. he's even white haired, has a tail, and is fluffy! fluffy! ran is watee attribute like yaksha too. wait i just remembered samphati told maruna that ideally a natiska parent would mentor a 5th stage rakshasa since 5th stage vigor and what not works more like a natuska and isnt that what yaksha is doing for ran. oh so this is what they meant by suras natures are to destroy. natiskas take of their attribues and astika create
ah so ran's half phobia isn't just trauma from the cataclysm but being afraid of himself. yeah where'd the wind transcendendal come from, ran is water water water
oh wow that experiment was more important than i thought. everyone is there
ooh naver commenter pointed out how sura sometimes scheme names their kids and raltara's parents name might be taraka the natiska name kali took to make yuta
this cute old man is bad for my heart. also ananta is precious. maruna continues to underestimate people but i will say him mistaking to most powerful being to have ever exisged in the universe for a 4th stage rakshasa ia pretty funny.
yaksha is basically a catboy. that explains a lot actually.
im enjoying the characterization of sagara. to sagara power is everything. ananta just wants everyone to be happy, he's uncomfortable with exterminating the ancient humans but he'll do it for sagara. this isnt true to himself or what he wants but he'll be what those around him want him to be. oh wow so the name/role of ananta was designed to take on a portion of every sin ever in the universe. also callback to brilith's conversations on whether its better to have gods that are too weak to do anything or have the power but choose not to help. oh shit and by brahma asking his consent in the destruction of the ancient humans (and ensuring it via sagara) she ensured the sins of killing them would fall on to him.
oh and somethings up with tilda but we dont know what yet. shes going to be important
where is marunas coat? mmmm head hurts... so gods forget things so that they arent weighted down by desires and reach the top/enlightenment. but once they reach the top the dont have to keep forgetting? about doomed willarav(??) all the deaths are turning point in which the characters didin't choose compassion. this is also the outcome that kali averted. ok im with maruna ran is giving me bad vibes. oooooo the maruna ran raltara gandharva situation! the tension! the drama! i was so caught up if the eye of punishment was going to be used by maruna or shess that a couple years ago i didnt even consider the possibility of a new character.
we also see the payoffs of the weight of time and the other side as well ran and maruna have come to see things from the other side (sura and humans). as others have pointed out maruna has spent several millennia among humans and discarded the sura cultural mentalities taught to him (obey superiors, no compassion etc which we see directly in his confrontation with samphati but everywhere after this time adventure) and taken a mentality closer to that of the first ancient humans. if humans using silent magic is said to lessen their humanity and make them more like sura ruthless calculating and cold, the maruna has become more human. the opposite is true of ran having spent many years living as a rakshasa and living far beyond a human lifespn. literally he has become more in tune with his sura side coming to terms with his grand parent being hanuman, yaksha's heart within him, and his power which killed his mother and he attacked the two next most important people to him lutz and rana. silent magic was said to need a desire for power, a lack of compassion for ones enemies, and a willingness to give up everything for one's goals. and mentally his mindset has been shifting from that of a humans to the one we usually see in sura. remember when he was introduced ran was the nicest character in the cast after leez.
so god kubera put the konchez party in a transcendental to stop their minds from merging with the maruna and ran of the current chapter. but thats what made them too late to stop taraka dying and 4th stage yuta. unless they wouldn't have made it aahhhhhhhh my head hurts i infinite possibilities gah! time travel! anyways but im still not sure what god kubera wants to begin with. wait no the mental transcendental preserved the minds of their former selves. the merge did happen that's how the clothes got "restored". oh yeah i forgot former kubera drew the sword of re before giving it to leez.
one of the currygom afterwords or something mentioned it but there's many more characters recently that do not neatly fit into the established boxes. perhaps its because at the beginning and and ending of the universe reality is looser. we have confirmation that yaksha clan bunny girl petupan that ran met has a chaos attribute but other sura we have met has chaos-ish aspects to them like other bunnygirl sona who maybe could be petupan's daughter? curiosly hanuman has a weird left arm when ran met him but doesnt in the modern day. then there's taraka that maintained their minds and forms like samphati and makara. then we have ran whos a human rakshasa (hanuman wondering if they forgot about a child with yaksha is still funny)
3-195 the other side 13 is the last we see maruna with his red fluffy coat in a flashback with raltara. it isnt seen until maruna goes to the abandoned timeline or n23
its probably intentional on currygoms part that yaksha's source attribute is water and that the inheritor of his heart ran was born with 3 water attributes. the interesting part is when ran starts using wind transcendentals and hanuman's source attribute is wind. so its almost as if he were a rakshasa with light as a clan attribute and water and wind as heteditary attributes. what im not sure of is in the fight with maruna ran seems to use some sort of lightning based attack and i cant quite remember so he either mixed partial surification with divine magic, has a sky attribute???? or there's sky transcendentals that dont require an attribute?
the abyss is the water channel of th sura realm?? omg and maruna cant remember the thing in the abyss that was chasing them because its existence has been replaced with yuta.

ananta 4-6
aaaaahhhh we got maruna backstory! so now we know that when vinata said clear the path of older siblings, she meant those rakshasa with the name Aruna were killed because the garuda nastika were trying to essentially reroll character stats as many times as possible to get the best soul+name combination for the most powerful rakshasa possible.
im still a little confused on why there were no nastika on the planet.
because maruna died and was revived under a different name, the universe recognizes them as separate entities which is why maruna can exist here separately from baby aruna. maruna got weaker upon arriving to this time period because ushas was there, but what about when he went to the early universe?
we also get more confirmation that ananta is another player regarding Time. he was the one that caused the lightning storm and the one who killed baby aruna. though im not clear on to why. was he trying to manipulate maruna’s future by weakening him? taking ushas out of the picture? idk. we also get more context for the remnant Ran meets. As the most powerful being in the universe Ananta accumulated sin for every wrong doing ever committed by having the power to stop it but not doing so and after a universe of this it seems to have worn him down. why is it that those closest to time/visnu suffer the most?
i wonder if maruna will take the long route to meet ran and raltara
and we meet enan! i went back and skimmed 1-30 and Enan is the first person to whom the golden knight bracelet was bestowed. he also because kubera’s priest???

I went on my yearly kubera binge over the last couple days reading approximately chapters 3-100 to 3-178, so here’s some thoughts.
Is still can’t tell what Currygom is doing by portraying so many unhealthy relationships. Is it criticism by showing all the angst they cause? Is is fetishism and indulgence? Does she think they’re neat??
Agwen and Kasak’s relationship is so broken oh wow. A big part of the problem is that Kasak never explains things and like you know... communicates. He just leaves things unsaid and implied but implied in front of everyone except Agwen.
Agni and Brilith love each other, but love isn’t enough for a relationship, you also need things like mutual goodwill, trust, regular effort, and communications. The two of them might love each other but they are missing some of the other fundamental aspects of a working relationship. Agni didn’t believe Brilith when she truthfully said that Ran attacked her. This shows the lack of trust they have for each other but also one of Agni’s biggest character flaws, that he always thinks he’s right. Agni is decently intelligent and has good judgement. He also trust absolutely in the truth of his insight. And Chandra notes of this, that while his insight is usually right, it isn’t always right. And the same goes for his judgements, he’s usually right but that isn’t the same thing as always being right. But Agni always puts his evaluation of the situation above that of anyone else’s.
Speaking of character flaws, one that Maruna has repeatedly demonstrated is how he underestimates his opponents or perhaps it is better to say he always believes he can win. Instances that I can think of off the top of my head are his various fight with Ran first in the Kubera illusion tunnel thing on Konchez, Ran again while they’re on they’re time traveling adventure, the first meeting with Asha in the timeless space, and his recent fight with Raltara.
I’m happy that we are getting a Maruna focused arc now haha awww the chicken is finally learning empathy. His denial is so funny like when he thinks of Ran. Given how he hadn’t figured out how to return to human form in the current N23 time, my guess is that he doesn’t reach 5th stage until the very end of this little adventure. And given how Agni could still use insight on him, he must not have taken the slow way to get back to the current time (ie. wait ?? billions of years). I’m still not used to his 5th stage human form, the round ears keep throwing me off.
Ok I also got to say that garuda clan 5th stage sura forms are just my aesthetic. where its like mostly human but some parts aren’t, and there’s a mask with long flowing hair and wings?? YES.
I’m not so fond of some of the side stories, there’s too much of like oh yeah and these people totally had romantic feelings. boo romance, give me more universe wide chess games. I will admit finding out that having a catgirl fetish is hereditary was pretty funny. those sexy sexy cat yaksha ears...
I think I finally understand the Teo-Menaka situation. (also that Gandharva’s original and truest form is a baby makes so much sense given how he acts like a baby). Baby Gandharva took the name “Gandharva” from Menaka who was suppose to have it and Menaka risked herself to save him. Menaka then made a deal with Kali to take on Gandharva’s sins and when she died Kali took her soul and made it into Taraka to act as a mother to Yuta. Teo and Taraka are killed at similar times and original Teo soul is used to form a new Taraka free of their role as mother. When Teo is revived, it is with Menaka’s soul. And thus they live like this for 7 years. Until again new Taraka and new Teo are again killed at about the same time. Menaka’s soul then takes on the sins accrued by Teo’s original soul while living as Taraka and is eliminated by Gandharva. oh and Leny has original Airavata’s soul and Chandra planned to get her killed using the knowledge he gained from his insight of what current Airavata-Kinnara told Leny. And Ann has Saha’s soul.
The universe in Kubera is highly ordered and structured and I think its enforced morality systems are flat out wrong. Various things a being does during its life can incur “sin” and at death a human may be punished in hell, go to paradise, or reenter the reincarnation cycle. It is a sin to kill a human, but not a sin to kill a sura despite both being living sentient and sapient beings. And at the beginning of the universe, It was only sura, whose souls would not return after death with ancient humans being reincarnated and gods reforming after a while. For that matter, sura were designed to lose from the start. A species that only gets weaker each generation and to whom death is final, the system was design against them from the start.
The series is honestly really cishet-normative. There as a couple being with nonbinary sexes/genders like Pingara and Hura, but the fact that nastika who can all change their sex at will all identify as either male or female in gender binary brainrot. And then to these being with fluid existences, they only form romantic relationships when one partner’s sex is male and the other’s is female???? and its considered highly deviant if both are in male form???? bullshit. (this is from the old version of the Finite when people comment on Vasuki living together with Taksaka before Vasuki took on female form to avoid succession of the Anata clan). Oh and then male forms are on average stronger than female forms? Why would you hardcode in misogyny into your universe???? ... So Currygom’s a conservative... truly a shame.
god Kubera’s lance can steal names as Kinara used it to steal original Airavata’s name. Kubera then used it to take Ananta’s name, but he could not hold two names and the name “Kubera” shattered and its power split between all the various humans named Kubera. The name “Ananta” somehow got attached to “Kubera” and so shattered with it, leaving the god kinda nameless. Sagara and Asha as well as others then worked on gathering the fragments of “Kubera”/”Ananta”
I really like Laila... when she finally stabbed Chandra I was cheering.
And shess was totally going to kidnap one of Ran’s kids to exchange for Leny.
From what Currygom has shown so far, Personality is determined by the interplay of soul of memories/experiences. When Teo’s soul changed her personality also changed, not a lot but with Menaka’s soul she was more of a worrier, trying very hard to excel at everything from swordplay to managing the city, while with Teo’s original soul back she’s a bit more laidback. Siera’s soul did not change but his knowledge of the universe radically did in a short period of time and with it his world view and this drastically changed his personality. This is just my speculation here but perhaps each soul determines the the possibilities for personality and experience determines which one it will be?
Ran is becoming closer to a sura. We do not know how long Ran spent in the white space with Maruna not that time has any meaning there but with their short lives, it certainly wasn’t something a human was designed to experience and we can see this in the difference in how Maruna and Ran deal with the experience. Yet, experiencing that and living through it, Ran approximated what life is like for a sura. We can see the results of his experience journeying through time in him attacking Brilith. Ran by then has gained more... oneness with his sura powers and his personality has changed. But because modern human bodies are not suited for holding large amounts of experiences, the sudden injection of many experiences destabilizes the person and we see this with both Brilith and Ran. A lot of the confusion and sudden shifts in demeanor is probably from this. Him lying about using the eye of punishment was probably his mind trying to reconcile what pre-time travel Ran knew about the Eye and the fact that Maruna is now 5th stage

so im rereading and "ananta will be king of the taraka clan" im assuming here this means the king of the taraka clan will hold the name ananta which is bound to the name kubera. we know that yuta's mind (possibly his soul) isn't necessary for the role of king and kali's purpose for him so in the main timeline/universe its possible yuta doesnt end up king of the taraka which is fun mental candy given how much setup theres been for him to be king.
"Huan wore his favorite animal suit, and Eline didn't want to get married at all, but agreed when Huan asked, and attended the ceremony dressed like she normally does, and promptly left after the ceremony ended." love that for them. also makes huan going beserk after lorraine kills eline before him all the more tragic
"Although Vasuki and Manasvin compete for Sagara's affection, they are not jealous of each other or on particularly bad terms. As shown since S1 E51, both of them care more about how Sagara feels than they do about themselves... But if there is a key difference between the two, Manasvin made his decision for the sake of Sagara's ambitions, and Vasuki made his decision based on her love for Manasvin. What they care about differs in some crucial ways." and in this way manasvin understands sagara better.
oh yeah what happened to the green cat. oh visnu took it during the war for ananta. what is up with that cat?? p sure kali was posessing it at some point. kaz bound it to the eye of punishment (begining of posession) but was the eye seperated before visnu took the cat? if not how did ran end up with it later. uuuuuuu i need to reread season 3....
current yuta hypothesis. kalu took the deleted name of the garuda clan's original #2 "Taraka" (who was Raltara's parent). the yuta look alike maruna and ran meet is a proto yuta kali made and stored in the abyss. the current yuta is the thing in the abyss combined with a new rakshasa name "jatayu" which along with the old garuda nastika name kali took allowed yuta ... another iteration? another life to begin as a garuda rakshasa with stages of development. the name "taraka" was then given to menaka's soul to create taraka a artificial mother to the new yuta. as raltara reveals, in sura, chaos used to be a source/hereditary attribute just like all the other attributes because there was no chaos clan and yuta highly resembled a garuda rakshasa with a chaos hereditary attribute. light sky chaos destruction are yutas most likely attributes. sky from the garuda clan, light from garuda, chaos from kali. destruction is the rending of space which is what yuta is possibly doing in some unidentified transcendentals. as raltara is sky, light, destruction, destruction must have been the source attribute of her remaining parent, the one that got erased. well the wiki says that kali took the name of raltara's erased mother
speaking of attributes we know that clophe and cloche's rakshasa parent had light and water hereditary attributes which is why despite being twins cloche and clophe have different attributes
when kaz attatches the eye to cat leez he uses the summoning spell for kali
was the hide of bondage aiming for leez or ran? who had the 17860? ran really does have animal instincts lol. at the test of sword leez got measured at 4000 something. ran when not using the heart of yaksha is at 900 something. which leaves asha??? usually is divine or transcendental value goes above 1000 the other is at 0 but asha gained her divine affinity through a deal with visnu so maybe she is exempt from that rule. it would explain why she didn’t want her transcendental value measured during the test of sword.
asha’s hair was (relatively) long in seasons 1 and 2 because her resolve was wavering
yaksha brings up a good point. because traumatic deaths are upending the reincarnation cycle, the gods are shattering the ancient human souls they come across that have awakened early and accumulated resentment. the birth rate is declining and with the continued sura attacks eventally all souls will be remembering their past lives early. the ancient humans are already doomed, why did the gods need to hurry along the process. asura nd gandharva just like killing. i guess the simple answer would be that the sooner the modern humans are created the better. and asking why is a rabbit hole in of itself afterall brahma deliberately created a universe unsuitable for the ancient humans. why didn't she make it even more unfavorable? I wonder how the city barrier check point determine if someone is a half or a quarter. is it the judgement of the checkpoint workers (visual, vegetable test, etc.) or is there some magical device/god item that can distinguish between the two. because both yuta and gandharva decided to pose as halves while in cities while visually they could have passed as quarters and yuta even poses as a quarter while in the water channel. euuuggghhh where did i read about the eye markings ran, lutz, and anne have. i though they were a hereditary sura holdover that quarters could get like teo's eye markings. but hanneman does have them.
