Those were some of the final words of Ralkina Jones, a 37-year-old Black woman who was found dead in an Ohio jail cell on July 26. In a body cam video released by the Cleveland Heights Police Department on Tuesday, Jones makes the chilling statement approximately 15 hours before her body was discovered by jail administrators.

This is in no way meant to shame Julie McGovern, it is a comparison to make a point.

Two women, one disease. Where are we at when one can say, my worst fear is that someone who does not understand my disease will leave me a nasty note on my car and the other says my worst fear is that someone who does not understand my disease will not take proper steps to ensure I am safe and healthy and I will die in jail?

Yes, I know steps were taken by police, including hospitalization, to prevent Ralkina Jones' death but it wasn't enough. Police have admitted she “may have” been improperly medicated while in custody, and now she, like so many others, is gone.

What the fuck is goin' on, America ? I'm not an american but I'm sick of it like I was. I feel like we witnessing the US police brutality every weeks, man, and I'm beyond the atlantic ocean. Once again, what the fuck ? I'm not in politics so I can't rule a country, but even though I have the same question as the majority of the citizens out there : Why all those victims are black people ? I mean look at all the hashtags, they supposed to be used for key words, not for the name of the victims killed by those who are supposed to protect and serve them, got dammit.
