[ad_1] Courtesy: Hockey India Hockey India fetes the legend with Rs 10 lakh cash award; announces retiring Rani’s famed Jersey No.28 ~ New Delhi, 24th October 2024: In a poignant moment at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium today, former Indian Women’s Hockey Team Captain, Rani, announced her retirement from international hockey after the conclusion of the PFC India vs Germany Bilateral Hockey Series 2024. Known far and wide as the Queen of Indian Hockey, Rani now shifts her focus to coaching and nurturing the future stars of the sport. Rani’s journey began at just 14 years old, making her the youngest player for the Indian Women’s Hockey Team when she took to the field at the Olympic Qualifier in Kazan, Russia, in April 2008. Over the course of a remarkable 14-year career, she led the Indian team to numerous triumphs, including the historic fourth-place finish at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Hailing from humble beginnings in Shahbaad Markanda, Haryana, Rani’s rise to stardom was paved with challenges. Despite the odds, she emerged as a beacon of hope, drawing inspiration from the academy run by legendary coach Baldev Singh. “After almost 15 years of wearing the Indian jersey with pride, it’s time for me to step off the field as a player and begin a new chapter. Hockey has been my passion, my life, and the greatest honor I could ever have asked for. From small beginnings to representing India on the biggest stages, this journey has been nothing short of incredible,” Rani recalled fondly. Under her captaincy, India broke a 13-year drought to clinch the Women’s Asia Cup in 2017. She also became the first Indian Women’s Hockey player to be nominated for the FIH Women’s Young Player of the Year Award. Throughout her career, Rani has been honored with numerous accolades, including the Arjuna Award in 2016, World Games Athlete of the Year in 2019, Best Women Player of the Year in 2019 by Hockey India, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 2020, and the Padma Shri Award in 2020. “Playing for India came with a lot of recognition but the moments that I will cherish the most are the ones I spent training with the team and facing tough teams together. One such moment was at the Tokyo Olympics where the team ran ragged for each other, this unity led us to victory over some tough teams. As I call it a day on my career, I am filled with pride and belief that the Indian Women’s Hockey Team will go on to great things in the future,” she added.                       Courtesy: Hockey India Rani is set to take charge as the Women’s Mentor and Indian Coach of Soorma Hockey Club in the revamped Hockey India League this December. She has already dabbled in a similar role when she became the chief coach of the Indian sub-junior girls’ team during Hockey India’s 100th Executive Board Meeting in Chennai last year. Rani even undertook the FIH Educators Course in July to upskill herself for this new chapter. “I’m forever grateful to my teammates, coaches, and every single fan who supported me along the way. I am grateful to Hockey India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, SAI, Haryana Government and Odisha Government for their support. Though I won’t be playing anymore, my love for the game continues. I look forward to new roles and give back to the sport that has given me so much,” she commented on her future plans. Rani’s indomitable spirit and determination to overcome societal pressures have left an indelible mark. She continues to inspire young hockey players, standing tall as a symbol of breaking barriers and chasing dreams. Rani truly remains the Queen of Indian Hockey, a legacy that will live on. Virat kholi
Tumblr media
Virat Kohli : (born 5 November 1988) is an Indian international cricketer and former captain of the Indian national team who plays as a right-handed batsman for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and for Delhi in Indian domestic cricket. Widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time,[3] Kohli holds the record for scoring most runs in both T20 internationals and in IPL. In 2020, the International Cricket Council named him as the male cricketer of the decade. Kohli has also contributed to India's successes, including winning the 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Champions trophy.
Born and raised in New Delhi, Kohli trained in West Delhi Cricket Academy; started his youth career with Delhi Under-15 team. Kohli made his international debut in 2008 and quickly became a key player in the ODI team. He made his Test debut in 2011. In 2013, Kohli reached the number one spot in the ICC rankings for ODI batsmen for the first time. During 2014 T20 World Cup, he set a record for the most runs scored in the tournament. In 2018, he achieved yet another milestone, becoming the world's top-ranked Test batsman, making him the only Indian cricketer to hold the number one spot in all three formats of the game. His form continued in 2019, where he became the first player to score 20,000 international runs in single decade. In 2021, Kohli made the decision to step down as the captain of the Indian national team for T20Is, following the T20 World Cup and in early 2022 he stepped down as the captain of the Test team as well.
Kohli has received many accolades for his performances on the cricket field. He was recognized as the ICC ODI Player of the Year in 2012 and has won Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy, given to the ICC Cricketer of the Year, on two occasions, in 2017 and 2018. Kohli also won ICC Test Player of the Year and ICC ODI Player of the Year awards in 2018, becoming the first player to win both awards in the same year. Additionally, Kohli was named the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for three consecutive years, from 2016 to 2018. At the national level, Kohli was honoured with the Arjuna Award in 2013, the Padma Shri under the sports category in 2017 and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, India's highest sporting honour, in 2018.
In 2016, he was ranked as one of the world's most famous athletes by ESPN and one of the most valuable athlete brands by Forbes. In 2018, Time magazine included him on its list of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2020, he was ranked 66th in Forbes list of the top 100 highest-paid athletes in the world for the year 2020 with estimated earnings of over $26 million. Kohli has been deemed one of the most commercially viable cricketers, with estimated earnings of ₹165 crore (US$21 million) in the year 2022.
Early life
Virat Kohli was born on 5 November 1988 in Delhi to a Punjabi Hindu family. His father, Prem Kohli, worked as a criminal lawyer and his mother, Saroj Kohli, served as a housewife. He has an older brother, Vikas, and an older sister, Bhawna. Kohli's formative years were spent in the Uttam Nagar and commenced his early education at Vishal Bharti Public School. According to his family, Kohli exhibited an early affinity for cricket as a mere three-year-old. He would pick up a cricket bat, display natural skill, and request his father to bowl to him.
In 1998, the West Delhi Cricket Academy (WCDA) was created and on 30 May of that year, Prem Kohli, espoused his younger son's fervor for cricket, assisted nine-year-old Kohli's aspirations and arranged for him to meet Rajkumar Sharma, who initially perceived him to be just another enthusiastic and determined young boy. However, two weeks later, Sharma was impressed by Kohli's accuracy and power in throwing. Upon the suggestion of their neighbours, Kohli's father considered enrolling his son in a professional cricket academy, as they believed that his cricketing abilities merited more than just playing in the gully cricket. Despite his abilities, he faced the setback of being unable to secure a place in the under-14 Delhi team, not due to a lack of merit but due to extraneous factors. Prem Kohli received offers to relocate his son to influential clubs, which would have ensured his selection, but he declined the proposals, as he was determined that Kohli should earn his recognition based on his own merit and overcome the system of nepotism and deceit prevalent in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Kohli persisted and eventually found his way into the under-15 Delhi team. He received training at the academy while simultaneously participating in matches at the Sumeet Dogra Academy located at Vasundhara Enclave. As per Sharma's recollection of Kohli's initial days at his academy, he exuded remarkable talent, making it arduous for the coach to curb his enthusiasm. Kohli remained prepared to bat at any position, and often, Sharma had to physically coerce him to leave the training sessions, as he was reluctant to depart. In pursuit of furthering his cricketing career, he transitioned to Saviour Convent School during his ninth-grade education. Kohli's ardent passion for cricket compelled him to travel long distances with his father to ensure that he never missed a match. With time, he diligently honed his skills and diversified his range of shots, commanding respect from the local bowlers.
On the 19th of December 2006, Kohli experienced the loss of his father due to a cerebral attack. During his childhood, his father played a crucial role in supporting his cricket training. Kohli has credited his father as the one who drove him to practice every day. He has expressed his feelings of missing his father's presence at times. Following the demise of Kohli's father, his mother observed a significant change in his personality. Kohli appeared to become more mature overnight, and he began taking every cricket match seriously. He harbored an aversion to exclusion from games and appeared to channel his entire existence into the pursuit of cricket following his father's untimely demise. It was as if Kohli was pursuing not just his own aspirations but also those of his late father. Kohli's family resided in Meera Bagh, Paschim Vihar until the year 2015, after which they relocated to Gurgaon.

Racism was the first cause for many riots, protests, and fights in the last 100 years in American history, and it is still going on in American high-class society. Being an African American, It’s still really hard to get normal benefits from government officials or local authorities to support your business, purchase nice property in America.
However, Oprah Winfrey’s story is really convincing as inspirational women 2021 icon for millions of others humiliated-blackish people, she is inspiring others’ breed as well because if she can wear dresses made of potato sacks in her childhood and earned top-branded clothes in her life, why can’t anyone in the world. Some unforgettable inspiring words by Oprah, are:
“Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.”
“Every time you state what you want or believe, you’re the first to hear it. It’s a message to both you and others about what you think is possible. Don’t put a ceiling on yourself.”
“Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.”

Well, Malala understood more about her religion better than those who nominate themselves as extremists of the religion, and she tried to question the rules of education for womanhood as per Islamic guidance but she didn’t get any specific answer instead of a bullet that could carry her near to death.
However, she survived after such a scary moment for anyone in their life, but her mind power toward the right believes alive again in the world and she got her life mission as an inspirational woman to fight back against her uneducated community.
However, she was alone when she took her first step toward making a big change, but soon after she received strong support from the rest of the world, which helped her become the inspirational women 2021 because it was not only her story of a woman who lost her education due to the restrictive culture created by the manhood world for all women around the world.
Before winning the youngest Nobel Prize in 2014, Malala was noticed by top leaders of the world, includes UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, British Foreign Secretary, William Hague, Angelina Jolie, and a dedicated song “Human Nature” by American singer Madonna.

However, she belongs to a nation where millions of parents are still considering their daughters to live inside the house and understand home responsibilities first in their life, Kalpana reached into the space between uncounted shinning stars as she promised herself in her childhood that one day she will go beyond and touch those shining stars.
In 1988, Kalpana started her dream journey with the NASA research center and got selected for her first flight to space in 1996 but it took almost a year to step into the earth, and on 19 November 1997, she flew along with six astronauts in the ‘Space Shuttle Columbia flight STS-87‘.
She flew for the second time in 2003 but was tragically died along with the other six members of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster, and Indian women lost a role model who is still remembered in millions of hearts.
Kalpana becomes an inspirational woman with her incredible work and answered for those parents who compare their children as per gender differences and who stopped their daughters not to look beyond her restrictive boundaries.
J.K Rowling
Tumblr media
J. K. Rowling, sometimes known as Joanne Rowling, is a British author, screenwriter, film producer, and still best as other inspirational women 2021 . Rowling is most recognized for her work on the Harry Potter series, which has sold over 500 million copies and is the highest-selling book series in history. She admitted herself into a horrible predicament after ascending to the position of the world’s most renowned person.
Rowling began writing shortly after coming up with the idea for Harry Potter, but she was unexpectedly diverted by the untimely death of her mother, which threw her into deep despair, and she couldn’t help but sabotage her writing abilities day after day.
Following the huge success of Harry Potter, Rowling’s writing career began to deteriorate, and she was forced to take a teaching job in Portugal in the hopes of making positive changes in her life, but nothing changed. She struggled with severe depression on several occasions, a child’s responsibility on her shoulder that led her from authoring historical book series to working as a café employee.
She had to deal with rejection on a regular basis and was continuously pushing for success. Rowling’s dedication to her noble writing practice, as well as her ability to endure in the face of rejection, made her inspirational women 2021 to a worldwide audience.

But, as New Zealand’s prime minister, she perfectly summed up the country’s grief when she paid a visit to members of the Muslim community in the aftermath of a terrorist attack on a Christchurch Mosque in 2019, which killed at least 50 people. She wore a Muslim hijab to convey to the world that she was very upset by the tragedy, demonstrating her best inspirational women 2021 personality.
It showed something unique and undeniable: here was a leader who lived the values of the country she represents and inspired millions of people all over the world to fight hate and war.

Muniba Mazari
Tumblr media
Muniba Mazari is widely knowns as the “Iron Lady of Pakistan”, and got 100 Most inspirational figures in 2015, and by naming one of the British Broadcasting Corporation.
Well, it’s important for us to understand why a common Pakistani woman named in the world’s topmost inspirational women 2021 icon is battling and gaining positivity when no one could tell her how she would spend the rest of her life after a tragic car accident left her completely paralyzed and caused multiple fractures in her shoulder, arms, collarbone, and rib cage.
Another set of upsetting news was that she would be unable to walk due to her spinal injuries and would also be unable to give birth. And so began her journey of self-acceptance, which she carried with her smiley face as she greeted everyone who came to her house to see her, perplexed as to how we could be happy in her life after such a traumatic event.
Mazari’s powerful mind aided her greatly by convincing her that she would never be ideal for anyone, and she began to overcome all of her anxieties, including those related to losing money, sicknesses, and living in the worst conditions possible. It took nine years for the world to be inspired by Muniba’s personal struggle, but she unlike others inspirational women 2021 is never hesitant to tell her story and teach others how to stay optimistic in the face of adversity.
Our Conclusion
So the next time you find yourself in a severe or unimaginative change in your life, just remind yourself of how potential, sincere, energetic, and positive you are. Perhaps someone is looking at you and is quickly inspired by your incredible achievement after a long battle with your emotions, inner negativities, and a desire to shine as a star symbol once more: today.
