"This guy is definitely neurodivergent in some way and I choose to believe he's schizo. Hear me out. Hear me out okay. Even removing the supernatural setting, Ichiro has so many qualities that I relate to as a schizospec person myself. Being unable to fit in with his peers (humans), preferring non-humans, having the "wrong" reactions, having a ton of trouble understanding others- and then you bring back the supernatural setting. Characters who can see ghosts are just. Soooo coded to me."

Vivia Twilight

Diagnosis: Schizotypal (headcanon)

"He fits so many little boxes. Vivia has interests that other characters find odd (his fascination with death), behaviors that are found odd (Sleeping in uncomfortable spots like fireplaces and under pianos), his speech is much slower than the others and he doesn't talk very much unless he's very passionate about what he's saying, he's super isolated and has a hard time making and keeping friends. He doesn't really approach anybody to make connections with them, but when they approach him? He seems super happy. It's hard to tell because he doesn't emote a lot, at most little smiles or deadpan stares, but he's definitely happy when people reach out to him and talk about books. He has also seen ghosts since he was a kid I think, and that fucked up his life a lot. Metaphor!!!! I also think he'd love the book No Longer Human, which is a popular favorite for people on the schizospectrum, I've found"

The pictures are always a little small first round, but the matchups will also be listed below the cut of this post. Once the polls are out, they'll link to their designated poll.

Just for the first round, I'm going to split the polls across two days. The first batch will be out on Wednesday, June 5 and the second batch will be out Thursday, June 6. All polls run for a week.

So with 25 characters per group some randomly lucky ones got to the second round immediately for they defeated their nonexistent opposition

I decided to use only one variant of name because otherwise table would be unreadable (also I wanted you to look at some of them and be confused who exactly they are so you could be surprised when the poll drops) except for one character from two different fandoms who would be indistinguishable without clarification, but don't worry, every duel would have a sufficient (provided) description of both sides. Having whole week dedicated solely to one round of one group leaves us with just the first round for two months, so despite longivity of each battle being one week we'll have a new batch of fights every 3-4 days
