What are your favorite horror game at the moment :D

Any characters in media that interest you?

OHHHHHOHOHOOHOHO. My favorite horror game at the moment is a hard tie between Fear and Hunger and Slay the Princess! I really like the extensive world building in Fear and Hunger, and I actually enjoy how cruel the gameplay is-- It feels really realistic and grounding, from a certain point of view (even if the rest of the game is intensely depressing). I like the character Ragnvaldr best, mostly just because I think barbarians with weird cannibal skills are fun. And I like his design. I really like Slay the Princess because the writing is just plain incredible. There are so many times where you can just absolutely fall in love with the princess-- And I think the major twists in the game are really good. I also really like the somewhat realistic (realistic once you look at the themes, mind you!) takes on love. I also think that the stuff that I can separate from the themes and just love in the moment (such as my favorite route/princess, The Den) horror and choices. The princess changes and winds and rewrites herself in new and fascinating ways but the amount of PATHS you can take depending on your own whim-- Almost ensuring you actually get a path in the game that is Truly Yours-- Is amazing.
