was going through your posts and saw that you're playing/had played Unicorn Overlord! what did you think of the characters?
For the most part, I thought it was a good cast :) Some characters I didn't like and some others I didn't care about, but that's just how it is in any game, especially a game with such a large cast of characters. There were some interesting takes on typical "FE" archetypes, and some refreshing personalities. I thought the 'religious' types were especially done well (Nigel, Raenys, etc.) or at least pretty interesting (Sanatio), maybe because it's not something I'm used to seeing in this kind of games.
I also really appreciated that, during 'cutscenes', many characters other than the royals got to speak, intervene, give their opinion or act (Travis going to scout ahead for enemies, flying units being sent to scout from the sky, magic users giving their opinion on magic-related topics, Chloe infiltrating a village occupied by the enemy and talking to the locals to gather information, etc.) and the mini quests involving specific characters (Selvie and the ruins, Yahna and the weird murals, Ithillion and the star iron shards, Sharon and the cemeteries, etc.) It's small, but it makes everyone in the army feel real and important.

Have a tier list, because I like making tier lists of characters XD

Just a few of my thoughts about TB & TG before the release of the new season.
It's amazing how easy it is for me to love characters whose flaws are not hidden from us (TG). Because you know what kind of bastards you're going to watch & love, you know what to expect from them, and therefore all the shit they do is not surprising. But how they do it? It's really a pleasure to watch. A drunken Aegon who does what's on his mind. Evil Aemond, aka the selfish asshole. Smart and cunning Larys, who knows people and how to manipulate them. The same clever and insidious Alicent, who achieves her goals. Aggressive Criston, loyal to his queen king. etc.
But what about TB? Not that I thought they were being presented as perfect, but I reviewed the first season specifically. Complicated feelings. I love Rhaenyra, her children, and Raenys. I have mixed feelings in every scenes with them. It's like something's wrong. They seem too right. But you know that this is not the case, and this makes attempts to seem much more perfect than they really are, cause more irritation than love. I want my beloved TB to make mistakes, so that other characters can see and know it openly, and TB would just say, "yes, this is who I am, and what will you do to me." But no! And I guess that makes me love the "right blacks" a lot less than the "bastard greens."
