Being determined is to have a want for something, and to keep wanting it, as the thoughts get stronger, so does your need to do something. Problem is, Kenma isn't all that impulsive. It wasn't like he didn't want to know who you are, or what your favourite thing to do is, it was the complete opposite actually; he just didn't know how to approach someone with such an iridescent personality.

Being who he was, Kenma didn't talk much. To him there wasn't too much to talk about, which is why he always found himself just listening. And listening. And listening. Until you beckoned him to speak, "Hello, Kenma! How are you today?" He looked at you in silence. The thought of someone as outgoing and pretty as you talking to him made him nervous. With his face flushing and a look of discomfort twisting into his face he ran away from you; he found himself doing this all of highschool.

His feelings for you throughout your three years knowing about one another hadn't waned at all. Graduation night was the night he planned on having an actual conversation with you...but, he didn't want to do it like this.

The graduation party had been going on since 10:00 at night and it was currently 12:00. He sat with a bottle in his hand, drunk and delirious, just watching you drunkenly dance on a coffee table singing a Carly Rae Jepson song ( which he couldn't care to remember the name of.) on the karaoke machine.

He watched for a few more seconds before hopping off the couch and making a drunk and sweaty attempt to walk over and talk to you. The house was crowded with sweaty bodies bumping into one another, drinks in hand, snacks littered the floor, and maybe even vomit if you were unlucky enough to step in it. When he found his way to the table you pulled him up onto it, taking the bottle of alcohol, taking a swig, and giving him a kiss until you both stumbled and lost your footing, causing the both of you to fall to the floor with a drunken laugh. "Hiiiii, Y/n. I...uhgg..I've really wanted to talk t...to you..for a while nowww..," He then stood up and held his hand out for you as you grabbed his hand almost falling again in the process of getting up. You smiled at him, taking his hand and leading him to a random empty bathroom, "Sorry, I- *hic* it was too loud...anyway, hiiiii Kenny!" You both giggled some more before chatting a little more. Despite being a drunk conversation, the conversation was very fulfilling for the both of you. Him talking to you made your heart race, his laughter made you smile, and his drunk ramblings were the cutest little thing to you. He then beckoned you to talk, "Hey, heyyy, Y/n, heyyy, what ya thinkin bout?" This made you smile more, "I'm thinkin bout a certain volleyball boy..who rannn awayy from mee all of highschool!" His face then grew red as he shied away a little, "I...mmf..I didn't mean to. I just..didn't know what to say to youu. You know? I've.. had feelings for you for a while now." As you listened to him you both leaned in his eyes leading from your lips to your eyes. You then closed the space between you.

The rest of the night from then on was a blur, however Kenma woke up at home, his mother sitting at his bedside prepared to scold him; as he was being scolded by his mother his father also came in scolding him along with her, opening the blinds and allowing sunlight into his room. And despite his skull crushing headache, nauseousness, and his body pains, he was happy. His eyes remained closed and covered by his arms, until his mother said three things, "What's all this bruising on you..ARE THESE HICKEYS?! AND WHAT'S WITH ALL THIS WRITING? AND WHO'S Y/N AND WHY IS THERE A PHONE NUMBER SAYING 'GIVE ME A CALL HOTSTUFF'? KOZUME ANSWER ME!"

And deep down Kenma knew you were probably at home giggling to yourself. And this thought made his heart swell.

[RAZ] Oh, I got a list. In my life, they have called me Rae, Razzy, Razzberry, Razpscallion, Poots, Pootie, Pooter, Pootini, Millo (pronounced mee-yo, like my Mom Milla) mini-Sasha, mini-Milla, Maninho (little brother), Big Man, scarhead (they don't use that one too much) and there have been a few others.

But it's usually one of the "Raz"- pr "pooter" variants.

So we'll start with my first name, which is Zohniyya.

This one's really straightforward, but in arabic it means 'bright minded.' Again, this one's really easy. Starlight is someone who is very smart and a problem solver.

Giving them a name like 'Zohniyya' gives the audience the idea that this is an intelligent person. Afterall, names have power and giving a character whose name's mean 'bright minded' hints at their knowledgeability. It also helps that its 'bright minded' and stars are indeed bright in their own right.

And then we have my last name, Qutub.

'Qutub' has a lot of meanings in urdu/arabic/hindi, but the one that's most important is for this is that it means "celestial movements and be used as an astronomical term," kinda like 'Starlight.'

Also in Islam, a 'Qutub' is an Islamic saint who has attained the highest degree of sanctity and has become within some areas of Islamic mysticism responsible for the invisible government of the world.

There have been a lotttt of theories as to how Starlight story will end. One of those theories is that Starlight is gonna be absorbed by the Meridian and become a figure of high powers of sorts, possibly a sovereign.

I don't know about you, but Starlight post being absorbed in the Meridian sounds like someone who had achieved the highest form of magical ability and will be responsible for some secret magical government.

And that concludes my essay as to why I'm debating giving my Starlight OC my whole name.

I got the first spare key to my own house made today. It's just a copy for Sunwoo but it feels like a big adult deal anyways, you know? Maybe I'll fail, but maybe I'll succeed. I'm inheriting a business, I'm trusted and respected enough for someone to want to leave their entire legacy in my hands, can you believe that? I know you can't. You hardened your heart against me too much to remember who and how I truly am. I've got demons. I've got battles still battling. But I'm okay. For the first time in a really long while... I'm okay.
