GW2 Fashion Week 2017 - Day 8

AIEE you people started Fashion Week without me! ... good! Well, I don’t have much to show this year so there’s only gonna be two or three posts. First off, the Guardian who wasn’t ready for last year, and who I love so!

Character: Radiant was Makwa (Dragonhunter)

Makwa started life as Lyon Papaver/Aodh of the Cinders, but when he got retooled into a Berserker, I used the fact the species fit and you could change gender. Makwa is young, optimistic, a bit too logical, and utterly dedicated to the defense of the Golden City.

Outfit: Arcane Outfit. I love how it looks like a wanderer’s robes.

Back: Luminate’s Backplate, fitting with her idea of using Exalted artifacts to fight with. Also, she is one of the few characters with a canonical glider.

Dyes: Spite, Gold, Glint’s Isolation and Redemption. Fits with the gold and green energy Exalted theme.

Weapon(s): Auric Hammer and Auric Longbow. Again, shapeshifting exalted metal weapons.

GW2 Fashion Week 2017 - Day 10

And my final offering, traditionally noncanonical, what Makwa wears under those robes, at least in terms of game items. 

Character: Radiant was Mawka (Dragonhunter)

You know, this might be quite close to the idea of an exalted-given armor, though I think she would get a faceless facemask to go with it.

Head: Wreath of Cooperation. If memory serves, received as a birthday gift from a guildmate.

Shoulders: Carapace Pauldrons. Nice and asymmetric. Butterfly a bonus..

Chest: Bladed Breastplate. I think I may have equipped this for the stats and the look sorta grew from it? It’s been a while.

Hands: Carapace Gauntlets. Again with the asymmetry. Which is a word I cannot spell.

Legs: Mistward Legguards. Alongside Body of Koda, these may be my favorite in the game. I didn’t use them on Eyra Mistborn, but here they find use.

Feet: Paws of Koda. Definitely my favorite heavy boots in the game. Nice stompers on charr, nice high boots on everybody else.

Back: Luminate’s Backplate. I love the dangly energy wisps..

Dyes: Primarily Gold and Umber, with accents of Mint, Clove, Moss, Cinders, and Cherry for a sudden splash of coloir.

Weapon(s): Auric Longbow, Auric Hammer
