I just really don't trust man-hating as personality trait. Every time I see arguments that essentially paint women as victims and men as oppressors wholesale that shit ends up sounding exactly like the shit terfs spew outside their transphobia. Women as a group is just way too broad to put solely within a category of victims and doing so just ends up feeding into a divide rather than into any meaningful attempt at progress or improvement. Way too women are actively taking part in sanitising movements of hate for it to be useful to label us victims as a whole group when so many are using their position (generally as white cis women) to oppress poorer people and other vulnerable minorities. If one isn't gonna view sexism and oppression as a whole with nuance rather than as a black and white thing, one could maybe just focus passions on something easier, like watching movies. Until more willing to reflect thoroughly and openly on the state of things.
