Are four years old??? Your political opinions are that you like legos better than barbie dolls??? PLEASE stop doing this to me” (and no one sees hears or in any way acknowledges him)

In the Extended Rachelverse, Thomas definitely tries to do the Mr Darcy Proposal at Rachel, by which I mean the first one that was an unmitigated disaster. Very much up to and including the part where his attraction to Rachel caused him considerable inner struggle what with her unsuitable and embarrassing family. By which he just means Julian. Who btw was hiding behind a piece of furniture and heard him say that.

Reasons off the top of my head for Rachel Fawcett to come to Button House:

she's hosting a fundraiser or gala or conference there

she's scoping the house out as a possible location for a fundraiser/gala/conference

she's campaigning for the next general election

some friends of hers have booked the house for a school reunion or something like that

she just wants to see the house where her shitty dad died (less likely)

Mike and Alison just ran into her

Mike and Alison took her home from a party only to find in the morning that they had a drunken threesome with Julian's daughter

she got caught with a flat tire in a thunderstorm Rocky-Horror-style on her way somewhere entirely else and Button House was closest to go to for help

Any of these could feasibly happen, come on six idiots please let me have this
