you were attending rooster’s new year’s eve party. you were hesitant at first to attend the party. you just wanted to stay in and catch up on some sleep since you had a long week, but phoenix talked you into going. she mentioned to you that attending the party would be fun, so you gave in and decided to go with her.

when you and phoenix arrived at rooster’s place, it seemed like everyone was there. you and phoenix recognized everyone who was at the party. jake even showed up, which doesn’t surprise you at all. for the longest time, you have had feelings for jake. there was something about him that made you find him attractive. you weren’t sure if it was the way he presented himself, or if it was his flying skills, or his southern charm.

“you’re starring,” phoenix said as she snapped you out of your thoughts.

“sorry,” you mumbled.

“how about you go talk to him? nothing’s going to happen if you just stand here and admire him from across the room.”

phoenix had a good point about what she told you. nothing's going to happen if you don’t do something. so, why not take the risk and go ahead and tell jake how you feel about him?

you took a deep breath, “okay. i’m going to do it. i’m going to tell jake how i feel about him.”

“you got this,” phoenix said proudly as you walked away from her to go over to where jake was standing.

“hey, hangman,” you said as you walked up to him. you could feel your heart pounding. it felt like it could come out of your chest. that’s how nervous you were.

“hey, y/n. happy new year eve,” jake smiled.

“happy new year eve,” you said back.

you wanted to skip the whole small talk and just get to the point. you just wanted to tell jake how you felt about him, so that’s what you were about to do.

“i know this is completely out of nowhere, but can i confess something to you,” you asked him.

jake thought it was sorta odd that you wanted to confess something to him, but you two knew each other through mutual friends, so it’s not like you were strangers towards one another.

“sure. what’s up?” he asked you.

you took a deep breath and decided to rip off the bandaid and tell him, “okay. fuck it, a new year is about to start, and i can't go another year hiding this from you - i love you, jake. i have felt that way about you since we met through our mutual friends. and i’ll be honest, i couldn’t stand another minute keeping my feelings in. i just had to confess them to you. plus, phoenix encouraged me to come over here to talk to her, so thanks to her. but if you don’t feel the same way about me. let’s forget this conversation and i’ll go back to hanging out with phoenix.”

“y/n,” jake put both his hands on your cheeks. “i do feel the same way.”

“you do?”

“yes,” jake nodded his head. “i’ll prove it to you.”

“how?”

that’s when jake leaned into you and planted a kiss on your lips. you kissed him right back. you could feel him smiling against your lips.

“best new year’s eve ever,” you thought to yourself as you pulled away from the kiss.

"sweetheart?" he called into the house when he opened the door so you knew it was him and not some random person walking in.

"in here," you announced right back, the boy following your voice to the living room.

"shut up." it was laced with laughter, not venom. "i think my heater has finally bit the dust."

LITTOH Chapter 4: At the Midnight Hour

A/N: Guess who’s back! It’s me again with another long awaited update! Sorry for the wait I had exams. Anyway, hope you enjoying this AU as much as I am, and I hope you enjoy the chapter! -Minty

Summary: Remus tries to push the two lovebirds together, Roman reveals more of his past and his pain to Virgil, Patton finally gets Logan to rest.

Virgil closed his eyes, the loud music drowning out everything - the fear, the hope, the risks. It made his head spin. He just needed a moment to just be Virgil. No parasites, no death looming over him, no confusing feelings.

Virgil rested his eyes as he lay in his bed, an IV in his arm. He sighed, feeling content.

New meds. They always had new meds. It was like a constant stream of numbness washing over him.

He curled in tighter on himself, the warmth soothing as he drifted to sleep, music blasting in his ears.

Roman smiled at his brother, his breathing tube stinging his nose slightly as chemo drifted into his lungs. “You’re really persistent today, aren’t you?”

“But the roof-”

“We’re just friends, Remus.” Roman said. “Besides, I barely know him.”

“That’s it! Maybe you guys could be alone together under the moonlight-” Remus said, slightly distracted, ideas bouncing around his head.

“Reeemuuss…” Roman whined slightly. “I am not going on a date with him!”

Remus waved his hand in a circle as he spoke. “It wouldn’t be a date, per say…”

“Still.” Roman said. “You know how I get on dates - Rachel Victoria?”

“That was a girl - you hadn’t realized your gayness yet…” Remus brushed off.

“Greg Folly?” Roman said, eyebrows up in an accusing tone.

“Please, any date involving the woods was bound to go wrong-”

Roman sat up and crossed his arms. “Evett Brown? Brad David? Nick Blue?”

“Okay, okay! I get it! You’re a mess on dates!” Remus said, giggling. Remus looked to his brother. “How is everything, by the way?”

“In the past week? I mean, pretty okay-” Roman said. “Is...um… is Dad… going to come anytime soon?”

Remus shook his head no. “Sorry, Ro Bro. That old fart can't get away from his office even for a moment, not since you left, at least."

Roman tried to avoid his brother's eyes to somewhat hide the disappointment, or maybe even the sadness behind his own. "O-oh."

Remus looked right through his brother's facade in a moment's notice. "Hey…" Remus's voice seemed warm, almost comforting.

"It's okay, Remus." Roman's voice that had seemed so full of emotion turned dull. "I'm fine."

"Roman, look… Dad's just-" Remus stumbled, trying to find the right words. Roman just looked toward the window as he wrapped his arms around himself in comfort.

"Visiting hours are almost over. I, um, wouldn't want you to be stuck in evening traffic."

"Roman..?" Remus asked, worry and concern that he often didn't show coming through in his voice.

Roman turned, forcing a small smile. "I'll be fine, Remus. I promise."

Remus gave him a concerning look for a moment before grabbing his bag and putting on his coat. His voice still shouted concern "You call me if you need me, alright? My phone's always on."

"Yes, Remus," Roman said, giving a smirk. "You worry too much, Rem."

"Well, I'm your brother, Roman," Remus said, leaning against the doorframe. "That's kind of my job, you know."

"I know. Be safe, alright?"

"I will."

With a click, the door shut, and the struggle to keep his smile vanished as Roman looked toward the window in his room. He couldn't help but think how stupid it was to believe his father would visit.

He never seemed to care too much about him or Remus. Who would have thought that the old brute would change his mind now?

Roman sighed. He shifted, turning toward the sunset setting in his bedroom window, looking as the sun sank below the horizon.

Patton bundled up tighter, the snowfall is getting heavier as he looked out the window. It would be only a few weeks before schools broke for winter break, then the holidays would come like a flash - Christmas.

Patton sighed, getting up from his desk at the Nurse’s Station. It was pretty much empty - all the other nurses had gone home at this point. He needed to look over a few extra files - a few patients were going into surgery tomorrow, and one was getting dispatched.

He couldn't wait to get home and get some sleep for the following day. His body practically begged for rest. Just as he was heading for the door, however, a bright light caught his eye from the main unit offices.

Everyone else should be home, and the night shift interns Emile and Remy wouldn't be here for at least another hour. Those two were shocked and eager to help when Patton had explained the temporary position. They were the most promising interns, after all - if there were any emergency, they knew the protocols by heart.

So… who the heck could be up at this hour?

Patton walked closer toward the buttery light, creaking the door open slowly to reveal… was that… Logan?!

Oh, jeez…

Logan was slumped over his desk, dark circles under his eyes, passed out, face smushed on what looked like meeting notes and file paperwork.

His hair was a huge mess, and his glasses askew. This threw Patton for a loop. He knew his best friend better than anyone else in the world, and Logan would NEVER in a million years, be this messy.

He approached cautiously, mentally preparing himself for his sleep-deprived friend. Logan hated being disturbed and often snapped when he lacked sleep.

He nudged his friend slightly. "Lo-"

"I'm aquake! I mean, awake!" Logan jolted, sitting up in his chair, a pen stuck to his cheek. "Patton, what are you doing here? I thought you had a meeting with Ryne-"

"Logan. It's ten at night. The meeting was at noon." Patton said. "How long have you-"

"Not long, Patton! I promise! I just had some paperwork, and uh, dozed off I guess…" Logan said, turning to notice his friend's expression. "No need to worry. I am fine."

"Logan, please." Patton said, grabbing Logan's hand, his face flushed a little as he looked to his best friend. "Just… just take a break, Lolo."

Logan giggled. "Nicknames, Patton? Seriously?"

Logan looked over his unfinished work with stubborn pride, then to Patton. He could only describe a sort of safe and secure feeling with Patton, like a warm blanket or a firm hug. The feeling was new, but… it was a feeling Logan yearned to feel all the time.

Besides, the paperwork could be finished tomorrow, right?

"Fine. I'll go home."

"In your condition? No way. Logan, that's a three-hour drive!" Patton interjected. "Come on, my house is closer."

Logan's eyebrows furrowed, thinking over and over as he always did. "Patton, I wouldn't want to intrude-"

Patton rolled his eyes, their hands still clasped together. "Psh, come on, Lolo! You're my friend. Plus, it'll be just like a sleepover!"

“Patton-”

“Come on, Lo!”

Logan didn’t even have a chance to argue before Patton was dragging him out to his car, giggling and smiling. Patton was tough and stubborn alright - he had a way of getting Logan to give in with his consistent persistence… or, Logan thought, it could have something to do with the warm and uneasy feeling in his stomach that seemed all too sickeningly sweet.

“Virgil? Psst, Virgil!”

Virgil grimaced, turning over before slowly awakening, opening his eyes to the darkness. He checked his phone, groaning at the bright light.

1am.

Suddenly, his senses snapped into focus at the voice, that was almost a harsh whisper. “Virgil, are you awake?”

“Princey…?” He whispered to himself, turning to face the bland beige wall behind his bed. What was keeping him up? And, better yet, why was he calling for him, out of everyone? “Well,” Virgil yawned, sitting up on his bed with his back against the wall. “I am now. What’s up? Decided to abandon beauty sleep?”

“Not, eh, exactly. Couldn’t sleep.”

“Jeez, couldn’t tell.” Virgil smiled, laughing a little bit. “But seriously… what’s, um…  what’s  wrong?” Virgil wasn’t really good with emotions, but, well, he was willing to try.

“Nothing’s wrong, I just… wanted your company?”

“Heh. You flatter me, Princey, but I know a lie when I hear one. Try again.”

Virgil heard a sigh from the other side of the door. “My, uh, brother came to visit today.”

“You have a brother?” Virgil asked, pretty much wide awake and pulling his knees to his chest for warmth.

“Twin, actually,” Roman said. “His name’s Remus. You probably haven’t seen him - you have treatment during visiting hours.”

“Oh.”

“We’ve been inseparable since forever - Me… Remus… and, uh… my Dad…” Roman said. “Of course we haven’t seen eye to eye, of course, but I guess I…”

Virgil’s heart nearly shattered at his friend’s shaking voice and sniffs as he paused, choking up.

“... I just wish that he’d put all the shit aside for once, you know?!” Roman said with such intensity and hurt behind his voice that Virgil just wished he could hug the weeping prince close and dry his tears. “At least, before he doesn’t have to see his disappointment of a son anymore.”

“R-roman…” Virgil said, trying to say something, find something to say to tell him everything was fine.

“I… I’m sorry.”

And, it seemed, that was all that needed to be said.

a/n: i hope this turned out okay! also i wasn’t quite sure how to end this

you and jake were spending christmas eve with your parents and two brothers. you were happy to be spending christmas time with your family. it’s been a while since you’ve seen your family, so you were excited to see them again. also, it was you and jake’s first christmas as a married couple, so that was another exciting thing about this christmas eve.

you and jake arrived at your parent's house. when you walked through your parent's house. it was all decorated, just like the times when you were growing up and still living at home with them. jake was admiring all of the decorations that your parents hung up. when he was admiring all of the decorations, he noticed quite a few mistletoe hanging around on the ceiling of the house. he sorta had a feeling that it wasn’t your parent's idea to do that. it got to be your brothers’ idea to do something like that.

“dang, how much mistletoe did your brothers put up?” jake asked. “because i know for sure that it probably wasn’t your parents who did that,” jake said.

you looked up and around the whole ceiling, and saw what jake was talking about. it was quite a lot. they probably decided that it would be funny to hang it up everywhere they could. “oh! that was dylan and bryce because my parents aren’t the ones who tend to hang up mistletoe. also by the looks of it, it looks like dylan and bryce put up a lot,” you said.

after you said that about your two brothers, right on cue, they both came walking through the front door with their wives and kids. all of you exchanged hugs with each other. it felt nice seeing all of them again. also, your brothers were happy to see you and jake again.

shortly after your brothers and their families arrived. dinner was ready. your whole family was all gathered at the table. everyone was catching up with one another, and eating. you and your sister-in-law, monica were talking about how her new job is going for you. while your dad and jake were talking about the latest dallas cowboys football game.

once everyone was finished with dinner. your whole family made their way to the living room. while all of you were in there, your mom thought it would be the perfect time to take a family picture since everyone was all together. plus, your mom loves to take pictures when it’s christmas time.

all of your family was trying to figure out how you all could fit on the couch for the family picture, but nothing was working. the couch wasn’t quite big enough for all of you. someone had to sit on someone’s knee, so then everyone could be in the picture.

“okay, one of you guys is gonna have to sit on someone’s knee, so then they could be in the picture since we ran out of room on the couch,” your mom commented.

“here, darlin’, i’ll let you sit on my knee for the picture,” jake said as he extended his knee out for you to sit on.

“okay, perfect,” your mom exclaimed as she clicked on the timer on her camera and then quickly went back to her spot on the couch. the camera went off not too long after she sat down. the camera took quite a few pictures.

once you were done taking pictures, you got off of jake’s knee and walked over to your mom to look at how the picture turned out. you loved how it turned out. you couldn’t wait for your mom to develop them, print them out, and give one to each of her kids, including you.

"mommy, what's this?" taylor inquired, a cute curious look on her face as she presented the book to you. at first, you were confused, but then you realized what it was when you brushed your hand over the cover to rid it of some of the dust it had collected.

"oh, this is a journal i made the winter i met your daddy. why don't you go get him and we can look through it together, yeah?" you asked your daughter who was more than happy to fetch her father. once she was gone, you looked back down to the book and felt a warmth swirl within you at the memories flooding your brain.

when you opened it, your eyes first landed on the polaroid picture of you and sarah standing in front of the fountain on campus and the one right behind it of you both with the outer banks sign in the background.

december 11th

there was a lot of driving done today, but i am so excited to see how christmas is done in north carolina and to spend winter break down here. sarah has told me so much about the outer banks and her friends and family here. i haven't got to meet many people but it's nice to put some faces to the names i've heard her say repeatedly. wheezie is my favorite of her family members so far. i can tell ward's personality is all for show and rose seems to follow his lead. rafe's a little standoffish, but his friend seems nice. it doesn't hurt that he's cute too.

"tay says there's a super duper important book that we're gonna read together," topper says, pulling you from your reading. he sits down beside you before hoisting the small girl up into his lap. "what's this?"

you never shared these in depth with topper. you thought they were kind of cringey to have someone else read, but he did know you used to journal a lot in high school and college. you felt like if you were going to share one, it'd be this one.

"the journal from the winter we met." topper visibly lit up at that and leaned closer to get a better look. you held up the pictures for taylor and him both to see. "you know who that is, don't you, tay?"

she moved a smidge to get ever so slightly closer before her features morphed into excited recognition. "aunt sarah and mommy!"

"is our first kiss in here?" topper whispered to you. taylor was in the mommy-and-daddy-kissing-is-gross stage, so whispering was his attempt to talk to you and only you.

"oh, kelce's christmas party? yeah, i wrote about that," you answered while flipping to the pages on that night. another pair of pictures sat between those pages.

"aunt kie and uncle pope," taylor stated when she spotted the image of you, kiara, pope, and sarah and made grabby hands for it which you offered to her shortly.

"sarah took this one," you shared while holding up the photo of you and topper. your eyes were nearly shut due to your wide smile while topper held you to him with an arm around your waist. he too wore a giant grin, but his eyes were settled on you.

"you look pretty, mommy," taylor told you when she switched out the picture she held for the one you had.

"yeah," topper agreed while gazing into your eyes, just as much in love with you now as he was then, "she always looks pretty."

She and Lucy are literally the kindest duo in their friend group honestly. Maddie is the mom friend. 

- She was put into foster care when she was ten and after a year, she was placed into Foggy and Marci’s care. Two years later at age thirteen she is formally adopted into the Nelson family.

She’s put into foster care because her father is in and out of the picture a lot. Her mother is a drunk who can’t hold a job and because of this she, Maddie, and Maddie’s older brother have been homeless multiple times. Maddie has a hard time deciphering her own feelings in regards to her parents; on one hand they’re her parents, they weren’t always so bad, and she loves them. But on the other, they’ve left her and her brother multiple times.

Maddie’s brother, Jacob (Jake), is six and a half years older than her. By the time she was placed in Foggy and Marci’s care, Jake was almost eighteen. They were separated in foster care. Foggy and Marci tried to get Jake before he turned eighteen but the process took too long and Jake moved out of his foster family’s house to move into an apartment with a couple friends.

- Maddie and Jake are close but also slightly estranged due to the age gap and their experiences. Jake is happy that she was able to get away from their parents at an earlier age than him but he’s also jealous that she’s happier than he is and he struggles.

Foggy and Marci are like an uncle and aunt figure to him and he loves that they treat Maddie so well.

- Maddie is very creative and loves to write. Between her and Nika, the two of them could write one hell of a story.

- She has trust issues and is very closed off upon first time meetings. She hates yelling.

- Maddie loves Broadway and musicals. It’s because of this love for theater that she fancies the idea of becoming an actress and why she joins the highschool drama club.

- She’s also a member of the highschool’s debate team with Vasya.

And really, with the way they ran the debate team it’s a wonder neither of them realized they would be lawyers one day.

- Heights terrify her.

- She’s very self conscious about her weight.

-  Ravdí is her best friend and the two have had so many sleepovers that they just leave random things at the other’s house.

- Her favorite fruit is lemons and she loves sour and tart candies.

Her waffle cones are the best in the shop. Needless to say, the lemon sorbet is one of her favorite ice-creams in house.

For a while though she thought that Ian and Vasya liked each other and cried to Ravdí about her feelings. This caused a very brief, very awkward schism in the friend group. 

Foggy jokes that since he’s going to be in “laws with Tony and Steve, he wants a fancy car.

- She and Marie disapprove of their friends getting into crime-fighting because of how hurt their friends get sometimes. They both learn some basic first aid.

- She’s a coffee addict. 

- Elektra taught her how to punch properly. If Ravdí insisted on going out and fighting and Maddie insisted on helping anyway she could, then god damn it this girl was going to know the basics on how to defend herself.

Foggy and Marci approve of this message.

- Maddie can rock a set of heels like no one’s business.

Truth be told, she had a lot of self-confidence issues until she hit her sophomore year of highschool. It’s due to Marci and Elektra that her self-confidence grows and she begins to love herself.

- She loves koalas.

- Her comfort foods are blueberry pie and lemon gumdrops. 

Needless to say, when she drinks tea, she has lemon with it. When she drinks water, she likes a slice of lemon or lime in that as well. 

- Her favorite flowers are sunflowers. 

- In highschool she takes two years of German. This is her favorite class right after drama club. 

- Maddie considers herself to be a pretty ‘girly’ girl. She likes make-up and loves experimenting with her eyeshadow. She loves the way mascara makes her eyes pop. 

- Her favorite time of the year is spring with winter as a close second. Vasya and Jack taught her how to ice-skate.

- She and Marie like to get their nails done together once a month. This is when they do their most gossiping together about the others fighting crime.

Welcome to the first ROUNDUP of the new year. CASTLEPORT has seen a lot of shake-ups, break-ups, and bust-ups so we’ll jump right into things. 

The extra chatter around town is at an all time high, with reporters filtering in, wanting to get the scoop on the mysterious disappearance of RACHEL BERRY and her untimely and tragic death. The KNIGHTS GAZETTE, seemingly a day late and a dollar short on their exclusives continued to offer no insight into the investigation’s progress, outside of the rental car that Rachel was discovered in was rented under the name of BRODY WESTON, with no other concrete leads. The emergence of CPORTEA, stirs up a deluge of feelings. The podcast and self-proclaimed ‘unbiased’ news source is a contrast from the old guard of the Gazette, offering gossip about the case and Castleport citizens.

BREAKING NEWS: Rental car connected to Brody Weston

CPORTEA: Unfiltered and Unbiased

HALLOWEEN saw plenty of tricks and treats with a massive brawl at THE MAGGIE. involving multiple people and left MASON MCCARTHY with a black eye. Packed with partygoers, the fight only heightened the weird atmosphere at the bar, mostly due to the ban on gossip related to the Berry case, instituted by SAM EVANS. There was plenty of fodder for the tea blog, including a tense public encounter between BREE BROWN and RYDER LYNN, newly returned when a trade sends him from sunny Los Angeles back to the east coast, this time playing for the Giants. Words were exchanged and the two parted ways, though neither leaving alone. Ryder going off with SANTANA LOPEZ and a drunk Bree being escorted home by Sam. Bree, fresh off a divorce, finds common ground with Sam and the two have a drunk sleepover. 

HALLOWEEN BREAKDOWN

After months away, QUINN FABRAY returns to Castleport, sporting pink hair and a chip on her shoulder. Together with Sam’s sister STACY EVANS, the two devise a plan of action, with Quinn driving JAMES EVANS to ROCK HARBOR RECOVERY, a rehab facility outside of town. She pays for his treatment with a credit card in her father’s name, prompting RUSSELL FABRAY to blackmail his youngest daughter into leaving her job at THE MAGGIE and her apartment in order to move in with him and work at The Gazette. It also causes a massive fight between Quinn and Sam once he learns of his father’s whereabouts and Quinn pulling the strings. 

ROSALIE LOPEZ is dismissed as lead investigator on Rachel’s case, breaking news that’s scooped by CPORTEA. Her replacement is none other than FINN HUDSON, an appointment that many view as a poor substitute, a sentiment stoked by the postings of Castleport’s infamous anonymous blogger, putting Santana in an awkward spot as she continues her romantic entanglements with the upstart Detective Hudson. Thanksgiving in Castleport is a somber affair, with many people spending time with their loved ones (or in some cases, no time at all), while reflecting on the first holiday since the death of Rachel. It also sees the return of another familiar face: MERCEDES JONES, who after spending a length of time back in New York (with Quinn, no less) reappears in town. 

CPORTEA: SHERIFF LOPEZ SACKED

TASK 11: THANKS AND BLESSINGS

Despite the chaos brewing with the media curiosity and potential bad press coverage--or perhaps because of--the winter holiday season seems more festive than ever. TINA COHEN-CHANG, still reeling from the loss of her father,  JI-HUN COHEN-CHANG, carries on managing THE DOUBLE C DINER in his very noticeable absence and finding support through her relationship with HUNTER CLARINGTON, still secretly dealing with his own issues with alcohol.  

Mason, still grappling with Rachel’s death and the feelings surrounding it, decides to step back from director of the CASTLEPORT HIGH SCHOOL winter production. Seeing an opportunity for supposed goodwill to honor Rachel’s legacy (and to boost public profiles), a raffle is held for the production, with the proceeds going to the drama club. 

EVENT: LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

In the spirit of the season, the TWELVE DAYS OF TEA segment delivers presents in the form of hot off the press gossip, including a heated exchange involving Mason, Santana, and Finn while backstage at THE RIALTO during the Little Shop opening night. Mason has very openly disapproved of Finn taking over the investigation, finding him unfit for the job, and made his feelings known. 

CPORTEA: BACKSTAGE BRAWL 

Other gossip-worthy gems include WILLIAM SCHUESTER and his alleged romantic connection with Rachel, MIKE CHANG SR. and his hard feelings against being passed up as lead investigator over Finn, despite his years of experience and knowledge, and a summer fight between Bree and Santana that got loud and physical. 

TWELVE DAYS OF TEA 

In the new year, the investigation into Rachel’s death seems just as stalled as the look into her disappearance last year. With Finn at the helm, he’s tasked with going through Sheriff Lopez’s notes and collection of evidence, and re-interviewing everyone connected with the case, including at times, his friends. The topic of Rachel’s journal resurfaces once again, the item being a key clue in trying to understand what exactly happened and offering insight into her mind as well as her interactions with other people, including Santana and especially Ryder. Ryder, who for the most part has been trying to adjust to a new city and new team while dealing with the shocking news of his father MAYOR LYNN’S infidelity. 

Their beef is nothing new, but the tension between Santana and Hunter reached an explosive level when, after an argument involving Santana telling Hunter and Tina exactly what she thinks of their relationship, Hunter shows his hand and video evidence of Santana breaking into CLARINGTON PROPERTIES. The video, months old, is enough for Santana to be arrested and CPORTEA gleefully pounces on the news. The arrest has a ripple effect on the group, prompting Tina to angrily end her relationship with Hunter and leaving Santana--having been questioned by Finn and another officer--looking like a person of interest in the Rachel case. 

CPORTEA: SANTANA LOPEZ ARRESTED

The case of Rachel Berry, long a topic of gossip and speculation in Castleport and the surrounding towns gets broader attention, with an investigative eye turned towards the tourist town with a darker secret. REAL CASE FILES and their reporters are keeping a close watch on the going ons of Castleport and offering insight and questions into a case that continues to baffle the local authority. Their recent reveal of DNA evidence found at the scene that was kept from the public turns a spotlight onto CASTLEPORT PD and their handling of the case so far, with CPORTEA weighing in on a possible conspiracy.

WHEW. There’s plenty happening around Castleport this go-round. And we’re so happy at the plotwork and great character interactions that have taken place over the past few months. -During winter, Rachel can sleep only after drink hot cocoa, so Monica spent a lot of time trying to make the perfect combination for her;

-They fight a lot over the covers, because Rachel is always cold, so she puts two or three blankets in bed, but Monica ends up trying to kick them out;

-When they were teens and still only friends, they had sleepovers every weekend, so sleeping together wasn’t something new when their relationship evolved;

-Rachel snores, she can deny as much as she want, but Monica think is cute.
