Maisie: 16, she/her. daddy issues. encyclopedia brain and mouth. will she ever take you seriously? maybe! probably not!! your mom will love her though. ....she probably has intent to fuck your mom.

Callisto: 17/18, she/her. haver of an I'm-sorry backstory. pretends she doesn't know her own strength even though she 100% does. parentified oldest daughter. her middle finger is probably sore.

Jonah: 16, they/them. autistic (/pos). shiny sunglasses. trinket collector, fashion enjoyer, long fluffy hair haver. had an emergency name change after I met someone with their former name who got pregnant by my friend's dad.

Pluto: 17, they/them/he?/probably xenos. the hot raccoon one. WILL steal your food. loves scary movies but can never sit through them. Mother Mother fan.

Briar: 17, he/she/they/neos. tiktok thirst trap artist, haircare fan, semi-permanent-tattoo getter. would be a romance option if this were interactive. will do your makeup.

Max: 16, they/she/he. DIY-er. passenger princess. named after ruby and max and it shows. live & let live. slightly disastrous, would accidentally burn your house down.

Elio: 17, he/him. hot (mess.) hispanic who prefers italian food. you are a couch to him. middle child syndrome, ✨flamboyant,✨ loves pictures he can pose for but looks absolutely horrendous in candid ones. enjoys dressing like a cottagecore lesbian.

Jamie: 17, he/him. very bro /pos. SHOULD NOT be trusted to drink. can't grow facial hair. older brother type. the type to sit next to you and slooowly move his arm over your shoulder. platonically loves women.

Wren: 16, he/him/they? personality of a shy cat. he will journal about you. comments shit like "*eats your eart* /pos". instagram enjoyer. would probably also have a writeblr

Lewellyn: 17, he/him. stan-able by grandmas. tall, rich, attractive, and very aware of all these things. he can cook! sometimes very oblivious to social expectations but sometimes ~suave.~ has locs and I love drawing them.

(note: Rhea, Elio, and Callisto are the main characters, but the plot centers all twelve of the above. there are relevant side plots that include other characters and I will make a "side characters" post about them later x)

Further Adventurers of Raccoon!MC

Since the attic now belongs to raccoon!mc they've built a wonderful nest up there. It has the softest blankets and pillows - which they stole from Diavolo's castle. Honestly Diavolo has also been stolen a couple of times from the castle. Though is it really kidnapping if he leaves willingly? It's so nice that raccoon!mc isn't scared of him and treats him like a normal person. He might be the only demon in devildom that actually knows how to find raccoon!mc at any given moment.

He's never going to share the secret of how with anyone - he enjoys the chaos too much. Devildom's never been more livelier. Speaking of chaos neither Barbatos nor Lucifer know that mc has acquired credit card from Diavolo. He just wanted to see what they'd do with it.

They bought a grappling hook gun. Now they can break directly into his room from the outside.

To the horror of everyone Raccoon!MC has challenged Cerebus for dominance. No one knows what actually happened and they were fairly certain mc might be dead (to Belphie's horror and concern) until they reappeared riding Cerebus like this Princess Monoko and MC's San on Moro.

MC did discover that Devildom does have the hellish equivalent to raccoons. They have been befriended and may understand mc on an instinctual level.

Belphie did not discover the really comfortable attic nest until he went looking for his missing pillow. How it got stolen he doesn't know but he did find it. Eventually. In the attic. Did he sleep that night in the nest? Yes. Raccoon!MC may have acquired a nest parasite. Maybe he can weasel his way into their good graces after attempting to kill them.

Did he discover the stolen treasures that are kept in the attic? No - he was too focus on the marshmallow dream that is Diavolo's bedding.

Mammon is trying to figure out who the master thief in Devildom is that he's getting blamed for. Maybe they could show him some tips?

RAD has a Raccoon!MC appreciation club - mostly it's just pictures that people share of various weird shenanigans and situations they've seen the human in. It might also count as a cult.

Is Raccoon!MC related to Lilith? No but her ghost did take one look at this human and decided that yes this garbage will do. It's exactly what her family needs to learn to live again.

Speaking of learning to live Levi has gotten MC to play MMOs/RPGs with him a couple of times. They always play healer but not that anime healer stereotype. It's the sadistic salty mmo healer. Does Levi still have at least 1hp? He'll live.

Simeon has thought about taking Raccoon!MC to the Celestial Realm to meet Michael but he isn't sure how it would go. Either they might get literally kicked out of heaven - kind of bad. Or Michael keeps them. He doesn't want to know what the brothers (Belphie, Satan) would do if Michael keeps their human. He's also pretty sure Diavolo would want them back.

Solomon would teach raccoon!mc exactly enough magic to actually cast it but not enough to be responsible with it. Honestly he just wants to see what they get up to with spellcraft and raccoon brain.

Asmo would be horrified to find out that raccoon!mc has a bigger following on devilgram than him. It's not even a real account - someone just made one that posts cryptid-like photos of the human out in the wild.

Diavolo follows it. Belphie follows it but denies that he does when asked.

One time Raccoon!MC stumbled into the castle's kitchen and found Barbatos corned on the countertop. By a rat. Anyone else might have laughed then probably helped me. Did mc laugh? No - this rat was challenging their rightful place as castle menace/trash panda. If the rat knows what's good for it, it won't be back.

Does Raccoon!MC know they are being courted/perused by multiple demons? Probably not - demon courtships are already weird enough for a normal human. This raccoon!mc - while they accept the weird gifts demons give them they have no idea what this actually means.

Dear god I was laughing like a moron the whole time I was reading this. Anyways...

The Attic Nest (tm) also contains various pillows and blankets from all around the House of Lamentation (and possibly Purgatory hall). Literally no one knows how mc got any of this, but they're too afraid to ask at this point. Dia is also very (most likely platonically) in love with raccoon!mc and is now their best friend/number one fan. He's constantly trying to sneak mc into the castle for sleepovers, but Barbs and Luci refuse to let it happen since the Devildom itself could collapse at any given moment if that were to happen. Plus, mc might try and steal some valuables because they look shiny.

Along with the grappling hook, they'll also just impulse buy whatever looks cool in the moment. Most of the stuff they buy is a complete scam, but they don't care. Did they spend almost 10,000 grim before anyone noticed? Yes. Does anyone know how? No.

Cerberus and mc are now best friends, and mc can often be found chilling out with Cerberus. To some, it may even seem like they can communicate with each other depending on how you look at it. Mc has also befriended many local demon raccoons and has started a clan. They will also take the raccoons inside the house which makes the brothers freak out. Beel may have tried to eat one as well, but no one really remembers most of that day.

Belphie has taken over The Attic Nest (tm) and mc now has to fight for dominance. This battle could go either way, but eventually they'll just compromise and share. Unless mc is feeling especially feral, in which case Belphie stands no chance. Mc also steals blankets from him the most because they're the softest. It's gotten to the point that Belphie can no longer nap comfortably because all of his blankets are gone and mc refuses to give them back without a fight.

Mammon wants to team up with raccoon!mc so badly, but he's also terrified of them. He also wishes mc would stop being a little thief so that Lucifer will stop punishing him for nothing. Mammon's all fine with taking the blame for stuff usually, but even he can't take this much.

Dia, Satan, and Mephisto run mc's fan club. They fight everyday over who gets to be president and no one has yet to win. Belphie si also in the club but chooses to stay out of the arguments cause he's a lazy bastard. Meetings are held once a week and they basically consist of everyone competing to see who took the best/weirdest photo of mc that week. Winner takes all of the photos everyone took in the past week for themself.

Lilith is screaming at the fact that this trash bastard is her only option, but she's learning to live with it. Does she like it? No, but she's trying her best.

Levi is suffering on main with raccoon!mc. He wants to be their friend, but they keep messing up his stats and basically destroying all of his game progress any chance they get. The amounts of times Levi has has to stop himself from throwing mc into a wall is more than he'd care to admit.

Simeon is a secret agent of chaos and really wants to take mc to see Michael. The only thing stopping him is the wrath of barbs and Luci. Actually, scratch that. Simeon isn't scared of Lucifer at all. He's just scared of Barbs. And he also doesn't want the mc fan club to come after him if Michael kidnaps mc for himself.

Mc with magic is everyone's worst nightmare. No one is safe. Pedestrians now fear for their life. Several demons have already been severely injured. Purge sirens can be heard in the background. Solomon and Dia are cackling as fire breaks out across town. Mc is digging through a burning dumpster. Lucifer is ready to unalive himself.

Asmo would get pissed off, but then try to leech off of mc. He'll take tons of pics with mc, but they all turn out really bad/unusable. Like, they'll be blurry or mc is partially cut off. Just your average cryptid shit.

Along with Dia and Belphie, Satan, Mephisto, and Solomon also follow mc's page. All five contribute many photos. So far Belphie holds the record for submitting the most photos but denies it very hard.

Raccoon!mc would either befriend the kitchen rats they find, or battle them to the death. With the first option, mc somehow finds a way to keep the rats out and no one knows how. WIth the second option, the entire kitchen will be covered in blood, both rat and human. It takes days to clean, mc is sent to the hospital, rat corpses litter the floor. Barbs is now scarred for life and refuses to go anywhere near the kitchen.

Mc has never experienced romance once in their life. The thought of someone being romantically into them is a completely foreign concept. No one expected this hurdle in their courtship plans, and it's now a battle to see who can get mc to understand basic attraction first. Not a single contestant has come close to succeeding.
