25 Day CAS Challenge - Day 9: Hiking Trip

I am most definitely not a fan of hiking; but growing up, my parents were (and still are) super into nature and desert hiking, so as a result, I was dragged along for many a mountain expedition.

Now that I'm older, I stay away from the trails when I can avoid it, but if I were to go on a hike, I'd probably wear something like this. Of course, I would also be sweating like a pig and my face would be tomato-red, but that's besides the point!

The Bachelorette Contestant Intros: Meet Kaliah!

Craving: Ive been dying for Chipotle! Like I just tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and Ive been obessed😫 Im convinced they definely put some MSG or something in the chicken bc I love getting Rice, Blackbeans, Chicken, Queso and Shreeded Cheese in a Bowl with a side of Guacamole!

Currently Working on: Trying to learn more about illustration and getting more familiar with Procreate since I just bought the newest ipad! Also working on starting my senior independant study project which requires alot of research, writing and designing. But also Ive been so busy with actually getting my old internship back that Ive been swamped with work.

currently reading: I read the Bible every morning because it changes my life every day :)  I am also reading “Unplugged” by Donna Freitas. It’s about a society that lives in  a virtual world and it is insanely good so far.

Favorite Color: Ooh this is a hard one, but probably pink! One time I made an all-pink starter home in Newcrest and I sort of want to try and make an all-pink town sometime.

Currently Reading: Women, Race, and Class, by Angela Davis! She's one of my favorite authors, right up there with Stephen King :)

Currently Working On: Learning more about the Custom Content creation process. I've sort of gotten the hang of making single-person poses and simple CAS/object recolors, but I really want to figure out how to edit meshes. In terms of gameplay, I suck at building, so I'm trying to work on my architecture and interior design skills.

I just bought the Get Together expansion pack a few weeks ago and I really wanted to experiment with some of the "modern club" building materials, so today's theme was perfect!

HORROR MOVIE POSTERS - A Base Game Recolor

Horror movies are my absolute favorites. I spend an embarrassingly long time researching their production, behind the scenes facts, and adding new films to my watch list. Because of this, I wanted to add some of my personal favorite horror movies to posters in The Sims 4!

Most of the base game wall decor is painfully bland. The only paintings that aren't super plain usually cost thousands of simoleons. So I recolored the movie posters that come in the "paintings" section, adding nine of my favorite horror films. I hope you enjoy!

Welcome to My Blog!

I realized that I haven't really made a formal introduction since I started posting on Simblr, so I'm making one now to make things easier for new followers/page viewers!

I primarily make CC for The Sims 4, but occasionally I post edits, screenshots, and gameplay. Unfortunately I play on a Mac so I can't do renders. :(

I also make lookbooks with complete cc lists that you can find here!

To get more of a general idea of the things I post, refer to the menu on the left side of the screen and click "Navigation" to be taken to my tags page.

I also have a cc finds blog, but I use Pinterest more frequently for Sims downloads. You can find my Maxis Match CAS and Build/Buy mode boards here!

Along with being a Simmer, I'm also a full-time student and athlete, so I sadly am not able to post all the time. But I try my best to make appearances; if I don't post for a week or two, I haven't forgotten! I'm usually just buried in homework.

I also have a Patreon, though currently there are no donator/paid tiers, so all posts are public.

Hey everyone!

I realized that I haven't yet shared a link to my Pinterest account yet, so I'm doing that now! Until recently, my profile was a mess of unorganized cc pins and broken links. Eventually I just got so tired of the lack of order, so I started this new cc finds board!

AHH I'M SO EXCITED! After hours of laborious work and program crashes, I finally was able to make a recolor of one of the Base Game shirts! I know it's dumb to be excited over something so trivial, but as someone who is clueless when it comes to tech stuff, I was surprised that it worked.

I'll be posting this publicly on my new Patreon for anyone to download. But, since the Patreon team has yet to approve my Creator's Account, I'll have to wait to share the download link.
