Rabbit fur and hide is extremely delicate. I loved the brown hides I got but I messed up on this one when stretching the hide and pulled too hard which ripped the hide almost in half. Week three of my rabbit hide tanning. 2 weeks of picking done and then gave them a bath and wash. Now it's the final stretch! My neighbor gave me some rabbit hides he skinned today. A very unexpected and nice gift! Dont know what I'll make with them yet but rabbit fur soooo soft and warm! Hey guys, I thought I’d share with you some rabbit pelts we’ve been working on. they aren't exactly our normal salvage as we got these from a farm. the farmer was going to throw them away so we offered them some money for them so they wouldn't go to waste. we’ve got about 30 pelts in total this is one of our first batches. all of these pelts are for sale on DA.
