Okay! I didn't mean to procrastinate this for almost twenty days, but here we are, so

Ranger's Apprentice actors AU [first thing]

Ranger's Apprentice is a new series about young Will, who finds himself the apprentice of the ranger of his fief, and his friends. Now introducing our cast:

Will's actor was almost exclusively a stuntman before getting this role, so not only is it his first lead role, it's also his first acting role in general.

Horace's actor met Will's in stunt work, also being a stuntman. He had a few roles before Ranger's Apprentice, so he has more acting experience of the two friends.

Halt's actor is the newest actor of the older group, since he's been bouncing through schools and jobs after dropping out of business school. Halt is his first big role.

Gilan's actor started acting and stunt work in his late teens and hasn't stopped ever since. He mostly worked on action movies and other similar genres.

Crowley's actor never had any formal acting education, but that didn't stop him from being quite the talented actor. His experience ranges from indie films to bigger productions, from comedies to tragedies.

Alyss's actress was classically trained and didn't really do cinema before getting dragged into this by her agent and a friend or two. That doesn't mean she was reluctant to take the role after learning about it though.

Cassandra's actress started as a child actress in sitcoms, dramedies and other types of comedies. She was the one to propose the role to her agent, really excited to move to another genre.

Duncan's actor comes from a family of actors and artists, so he had experience with the industry even before starting to work in it. He started as scenarist before moving on to acting.

Morgarath's actor is one of the most experienced actors on set so far, having started stage acting at the age of nine years old and film acting (amazingly accurate terminology by yours truly) at sixteen.

First << prev < Season 3 Ok, so I got an anon about a Batfam Actor AU and now I can't get it out of my head. I'll probably make this multiple parts or something, but I'll go season by season probably.

Before this season premiered, there was probably a justice league movie. Just an FYI. Thus, the trinity was formed. And now the fans of the show haa as be to fight with the movie fans on ship wars.

Season three is a lot of...shenannigains. It's kinda just the epitome of Golden Age comics. Ya know?

Since they introduced Dick as a sidekick for Batman, and saw how well received he was by audiences, sidekicks were introduced to the other Hero shows on the network

There’s a Wonderwoman cameo, and the wonder twins are born. Oh! And Uncle Clark.

Throughout the season there’s a scarily heavy focus on Harvey, and it has the audience on their toes, and they think he’s gonna die, but at the end of the season he gets hit in the face with acid, and the Bruharvy edits skyrocket.

Selena has less screen time because she punched the interviewer, so the Directors bring back Talia as a main love interest. But Bruce and Selena are still dating.

At the season premiere, all the sidekicks— Dick, Donna, Roy, Wally, and Garth— are hangin out with each other and the internet BEGS for more interactions between all of them.

Dick doesn’t do as many interviews as he did the season before. But, he’s starting to feel the pressure.

It’s obvious that Selena is missing during most interviews too, but the three of them (Bruce, Talia, and Harvey) still make the best interview moments.

Spill the Tea, with Alfred, Ras, and Gordon, is about the prank Dick played on Bruce and Clark by tying their capes together. Another highlight was Donna braiding Dicks hair. Also, this time, all three of them are asked how they make their tea, and both Alfred and Ras are horrified by Jim.

How to make a child model in Anam/Ktisis!

Disclaimer: I am NOT an expert in the use of these mods! I'm still very new and learning the ins and outs of them! This method worked for me, and maybe there are better ways to do it, but I'm just explaining how I created my baby Shiun. If you know of a better way, or have any tips and tricks, please feel free to comment or reblog with your advice for the sake of other gpose newbies! :D Link to Ktisis's download page | Link to Anam's download page Guide and Tips/Warnings below the cut! Summon your partner in crime. So first off, I equipped my summoner job stone and summoned my trusty companion, Carbie.

2. Add your Carbie to your actors. Open up Anam and add your carbie to your list of actors, by clicking the plus sign at the top of the menu next to your character's name (remember that with Anam, you can only edit appearances OUTSIDE of gpose). Click on the little button labeled "Carbuncle" to add them.

3. Turn your Carbie into a person. With your Cabie selected, go to the "Import NPC" at the bottom right and pull up the list. Find an NPC that is the same race as your desired character and select it. In this example, I just chose the first au ra NPC I saw in the list. (You can also directly choose your desired race in the customize menu and start from scratch, but I just do it the Import way, lol) ⚠️As far as I've experienced, it's a 50/50 chance on whether or not you can alter the age of your character's actor directly. Every time I've tried this, it breaks the model and never works the way it should. For simplicity's sake, I've always just used my friend Carbie.

4. Change the age of your new actor. Now if you look at the top left of the Anam window, there's a series of dropdowns next to "Race."

What you want is the bottom right menu. Click it and you'll see "Old," "Normal," and "Young." Clicking "Young" will turn your carbie into the child version of the race it's currently disguised as!

5. Customize and boot up gpose! Now you can customize them to be the adorable mini version of your beloved WoL/OC!! The bones are compatible with Ktisis and should be as easy to manipulate and pose as adult models. If you use the Carbie method as I have in this explanation, you can simply hide your main model in the default Gpose menu for pictures.

Some things to keep in mind! ----

⚠️Not every race has a child model. The only races that have child models are:

au ra - male & female

hyur - male & female

elezen - male & female

miqo'te - female only

⚠️It is very likely that the models will break or look a little funky when you first spawn them. They have a very limited number of faces, and a limited number of available hairstyles. If you choose an option the game does not have, it will create some... interesting results. Most other customizations beyond skin color, hair color, and eye color will also likely not work (tail type/length, jaw type, etc.).

Usually, faces 1 & 2 are the only viable options, and hairstyles 1-5 are okay. (Note: the pictures of the hairstyle icons will NOT match the hairstyle on the model.)

⚠️Clothing is also fairly limited! I'm not sure what dictates what child models can and cannot wear, so as far as I know, it's just a game of trial and error. You'll know immediately if an article of clothing isn't compatible lmaoo. Hats... rarely ever work...

✨Don't forget that you can save your model's data! When your model is customized to your liking, click "Export" at the bottom right of the menu to save the data to Anam. That way, you can load the appearance immediately without rebuilding it every time!

It's a mixed bag of what will and won't work on the model. My best advice is to experiment and play around with it! It took me a little bit to figure all of this out, so hopefully this silly little explanation helps out all the other new gposers out there :)

You know what, I want to get in on these Jean-Paul Valley lives AUs. Building off ideas from @captainragtag and @tallochar in this post.

The way I'd do this is we start by still having Jean-Paul die of Azrael disease or whatever at the end of his solo. Idk, I’ve never gotten all the way to the end.

We then bring him back like three months later in a wild Robin arc written by John Lewis probably in which Tim stumbles across a secret Order of St Dumas lair where they have just resurrected JPV using a St Dumas themed knock-off lazarus pit that they stole from Ra’s al Ghul.

After beating up the Order of St Dumas with Azrael, Tim dumps him at, hmmm, idk, let’s go with the Trappist Abbey of Gethsemane over in Kentucky where he can recover from the system among a bunch of old monks who spend their days in prayerful silence and make fudge.

JPV can also impress/horrify them with all of the absolutely wild fringe theology of the Order! Does the Order of St Dumas even have the Eucharist?

(I mean probably, since I think their origin was from the crusades, but I don’t think this has ever come up in comics…)

Anyway we proceed through War Games and Identity Crisis up until the point where Tim’s dad dies and he’s like, clearly I need a fake uncle instead of being adopted by Bruce.

Only instead of hiring an actor, he’s like, I know a guy who owes me a favor and is also in on the secret so I don’t need to hide being Robin from him

So he grabs JPV from the Abbey and rechristens him as his Uncle JP Drake.

(Jean-Paul probably comes back from the abbey being drawn with a tonsure because even though that’s not really a thing anymore because that’s how you know he’s been hanging out with monks.)

(Also I think he deserves a stupid hair style)

Bruce is like, man, who know Tim had this Uncle who looks vaguely familiar. Well, must be the family resemblance.

Jean-Paul looks exactly the same except with a stupid haircut and also possibly an eye color change from the knock-off lazarus pit.

Bruce also doesn’t know that Jean-Paul got resurrected because Tim didn’t tell him.

And then, you know, eventually he figures it out and can brood over the fact that Tim chose Jean-Paul Valley over him.

And that way Tim and Jean-Paul have built up a kind of positive relationship that we can then use to lead into the Battle for the Cowl and Brucequest AUs that other people have proposed.

actually yes because she would have liked the opportunity to grow up in an open place, and all the abandoned things she could play with there, although she probably would have hated the heat of the desert.

As what would she work in our world?

mmm ruling out F/A-18E pilot as an obvious choice, I also see her being a firefighter.

I'm gonna be honest and say her favorite character would probably be Nya lol

I'm going to admit that I'm drawing a blank with this jkd ​​I haven't even thought about a cast for the ninjas so I'm going to say maybe… Cailee Spaeny I guess because she's the only one I can think of at the moment

Ranger's Apprentice actors AU Social Media edition

Will's actor seemingly has very little cohesion with what he posts, but his followers are used to his chaos. His account is very honest, even if some people could call it blunt.

Horace's actor probably has the chillest social media account of the cast. He generally uses his main account to check what's going on and share recipes and photos.

While Halt's actor sometimes denies to have social media, but he definitely engages in the occasional beef on his "anonymous" account.

Gilan's actor is barely any less chaotic than Will's, though he has a more limited range of things he posts, chiefly behind the scenes, parkour videos and medieval weaponry. He also interacts a lot with fans, especially to give advice to aspiring actors and stunt artists.

Crowley's actor technically has social media, but to be honest, he barely posts anything. He checks what's going on every once in a while, but not much more. He likes his mental health too much for that.

Alyss's actress does have a social media account, though a lot of people think otherwise. There's also the fact that she doesn't use her real name and that she doesn't really show her face. Her content is mostly poetry reading.

Cassandra's actress probably has the most active social media account. She shares a lot of artistic stuff, sometimes in phase, sometime all muddled together. Like Gilan's, she interacts a lot with her fans.

Duncan's actor has a social media account mostly for news, marketing and his writing club. He mostly posts writing stuff, photography and the occasional promotion for his current projects.

Morgarath's actor doesn't seem to have any form of social media, yet he's somehow keenly aware of whatever shenanigans are happening on social media platforms. Even the cast and crew closest to him haven't been able to get him to say how he does it. (It's his sister, his sister keeps him informed on the fuckery going on online.)

Season 1 > Next Ok, so I got an anon about a Batfam Actor AU and now I can't get it out of my head. I'll probably make this multiple parts or something, but I'll go season by season probably.

The first season is basically The Batman 2022, except it's in series form and features an actor in his mid 20s. It also explores more of Bruce's training (in flashbacks probably), and the first season is more about Bruce becoming Batman. There's also a lot of noob epic fails, because he's literally a Baby Batman.

I also think they should go the Christopher Nolan route of having Bruce train with the LOA, that way they could introduce Talia and Ra's earlier. Give all three of them more of a history together, but the main villains would be the smaller ones, like the Riddler, the original Red Hood (so a goofy Joker), Clayface, Penguin and Catwoman (but there;s a lot of sexual tension and bantering between the two)

The cast of the first season would be Bruce, Alfred, Commisioner Gordon, Harvey Dent, Talia, Ra's, and obviously the rogues gallery.

What makes the show so popular are the ship wars. Brutalia and Brulena shippers are basically getting into fistfights, while Bruharvey fans are in their own world because the actor who plays Bruce kissed the actor who plays Harvey in an interview. The interviews with all four of them get so many view because the sheer amount of sexual tension between ALL FOUR OF THEM IS INSANE.

Alfred, Commissioner Gordon, and Ra's always have a tea interview every press season where they spill the tea on things that happened on set. (Bruce ripping the pants of the batman suit while doing a stunt goes viral)

Though a lot of fans felt like there was a character archetype that was missing....

Yay, thanks anon! And I would just like to take this opportunity, given that we're 2 years old today and approaching the new year, to say thank you to everyone reading. Whether you send me asks and messages, reblog, like or even just lurk and read, I'm so appreciative and thankful. When I had the silly idea of "I should make Catra say fuck", I had no idea that it would turn into what the blog is today, but also into a purpose and a new direction for my life.

2022 has been a great year for me. In September, I was sat inside a theatre listening to the sound of dozens of people laughing at a joke I wrote, coming from the mouth of an actor I'd seen on TV. That was just this most wonderful, unbelievable experience... and I don't think it would have happened if not for this blog.

I've written a TV pilot that's in front of people who could change my life, I've written a movie this year. That's not bad for the person who spent a lot of their 20s seeing very little point in carrying on. So thank you, everyone. This blog, and all of you, mean so much to me. ❤️
