Twitch Streamer AnnieBananie comments on dating scandal via Instragram & Twitter

In light of recent scandal surrounding Yeri of Reaper7 and Twitch’s AnnieBananie, the gamer has decided to come out on twitter and instagram amidst a flood of comments to relay her own perspective of the incident and express her sorrow in causing such trouble for Yeri, Reaper7, and Two Star itself.

For those unfamiliar, AnnieBananie is the username of Annabelle Kim, leader of Reaper7′s official fanclub and notable Twitch streamer. As an attempt to help fans connect with members of the group, Annie was known for organizing a number of events, including monthly streams in which she would play Overwatch alongside Yeri and allow viewers to join in on matches.

But in their most recent holiday stream, the cameras captured Yeri confessing his affections for Annie, as well as them kissing and neither party were aware that the cameras were still on and broadcasting to viewers on Twitch.

The following was Annie’s response to the event on Instagram and Twitter:

Hello, everyone. This is Annie. First, I would like to apologize for my carelessness in the livestream. I’m the one who manages the cameras and makes sure everything is working as is, and as a result, it is my fault for not ensuring that the cameras were turned off. I was caught up in losing the final match, and distracted myself from my usual double check of the equipment.

Second I will be stepping down as the head of the fanclub, meaning interactive fan events might be postponed for a while while a new head of the fanclub is found. I apologize from the bottom of my heart for the pain and frustration this has caused to fans and to Reaper7 themselves.

Lastly, and most importantly, I ask that you find it in your hearts to forgive Yeri completely. He didn’t do anything wrong in this situation, and I have confidence that, had this event happened off camera, he would have happily notified all his fans of the recent development in his life. He cares so deeply for his fans and members, and would never want to cause you or them pain. It was carelessness on my part that made this go poorly, not his. Please continue to give him your love and support, as well as the rest of Reaper7 as we move forward into the new year. Again, I’m very sorry for everything that has happened, please don’t direct your frustration at Yeri, Reaper7, or Two Star. Please continue to love and support them so they can stay strong from now on.

Annie has not streamed on Twitch or had any social media presence aside from this post, and it is unclear when, if at all, she will continue her streaming work. Two Star Entertainment is working to compose a statement regarding the incident as well.

Reaper7 releases exclusive track in honor of mental health awareness 

For the past week and a half, members of Reaper7 have been hinting on social media at a new exclusive track to be released in the wake of the group’s quieter social media presence and the rescheduling of their tour. 

The ambiguity of it all was erased today with the release of Save ME. The song was written by members Yeri & KT, choreographed by Baekhyun, and otherwise composed, produced, filmed, and edited by the group, thus making it a purely Reaper7 produced project.

Following the video’s release, the members came together to conduct a VLive during which they spoke about the song’s production. KT spoke about how the song itself came to be: 

‘Mental health is a much more important thing than people realize and are willing to put effort into learning about. We wanted to put something out there to show our support, and to tell people that there’s someone there for you, even when it doesn’t feel like it. I had the words I wanted to say but I’m not great at expressing them. Yeri is amazing at bringing thoughts to life, so I went to him and we worked together to make it into a coherent song. This production is truly was a group effort, and we’re proud of it and we hope it helps.’

As for the message itself, mental illness, all the members spoke of having awareness of how mental illness affects those they love around them. It has become very obvious how passionate the group feels about mental health, with this song being released on the heels of member Daichi’s collaboration with Yeri and Hajoon.

Baekhyun explained the group’s stance in the vlive.

“I watched people that I loved succumb to sad things. There were people close to me and who are close to me now that I constantly hold dear to my heart, who suffer daily from mental illness. The brain is like any other organ and it can sometimes get sick. I hope that with this song, we can express our support to those that need it and help direct them somewhere. Please remember that you are not alone.”

Two Star Records has released a statement, expressing how proud they are of the group and they will be handling all funds necessary to promote the song and cause. The track will be available on a special mini album, available for purchase through various outlets, with 100% of funds from purchases going towards organizations that strive for healing and awareness.

Reaper7 drops teaser image for new collaboration with Steve Aoki

Grims are starting out 2018 on edge as they were greeted by a a mysterious teaser image on the Two Star website and Twitter early this afternoon. As is usual with Two Star's cryptic promotion methods for the group, the image was accompanied withe nothing more than a date and the name Steve Aoki.

Fans have already begun making guesses as to the fact that Reaper7 will be collaborating with the well known producer and DJ known for his EDM sounding remixes on a song. The only question that remains is what song the group has put into the DJ's hands to give a fresh new sound. 

Fan responses thus far have been exited, theorizing, and otherwise positive, an uplifting change in the fandom when taking into account the issues that surrounded the group towards the end of 2017.

Dai of REAPER7 new single drops unexpectedly and surprises fans.

Fans were pleasantly surprised today to wake up to a single from Dai of REAPER7. There were no hints or warnings. Dai, Hajoon, and Yeri of Reaper7 did not hint to any possibility of a new single collaboration, despite even Yeri’s constant status of being very active on not only his social media, but youtube channel as well. 

So Far Away is a soft and melodious song, powered by the rap technique of Dai and the vocal color of Hajoon and Yeri. The song discusses a lot of sensitive topics, especially mental illness which is something that Reaper7 has always taken very seriously.

KT touches fans with powerful vocals in cover of ‘Goodbye’.

Broadway fans were all a flutter on social media recently over KT of Reaper7 singing a powerful cover of the song ‘Goodbye’ from the 2011 Broadway musical ‘Catch Me if You Can’ at a recent concert. The musical is based on the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr. who managed to forge millions of dollars worth of checks and evade FBI capture while posing as a number of things including a pilot and a doctor, all before his 19th birthday. 

‘Goodbye’ is Frank’s impassioned final song, in which he implores the police and the audience to let him go and ‘leave the stage’ unscathed as he realizes there’s nothing left for him here and he wants to try living a normal life again elsewhere if he can. While not directly addressed, the song speaks volumes to the themes of depression, giving up, feeling like you have no purpose, and wanting to get a second chance at things. KT manages to bring out all those emotions in his performance that left fans in tears and rapant applause.

A high quality recording of the performance was released by various fansites, thus allowing everyone who was not present to see it, and the praise flooded in. Many were surprised by KT’s commanding stage presence, when he is more often relegated to short lines and back up vocals, while others were besides themselves with glee:

KT under fire by netziens for VLive story

KT of Reaper7 has been under fire as of late due to a vlive he conducted on Saturday night. In this impromptu vlive, KT introduced his new kitten, Zuzu, for everyone to see, then proceeded to have a quiet, and laid back session responding to fans in the comments.

However, later on in the live, KT came forth with how he joined Two Star Entertainment, something that had never been officially confirmed in the past. KT’s story was as follows

“I was bored. When I was 17, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I’d taken IQ tests when I was 14, they told me I was genius, and they all expected me to do things in the academic world, but I didn’t want to. So at 17, I was sort of just wandering around not doing anything but advanced classes and decided I would experiment. I wanted to see if it was really talent and skill that got you into companies like this or if there was some sort of…combination of methods i could use to get in. I did a social experiment…so I went and did research, talked to people, then executed everything I learned in my audition.They told me later that I got in because I could sing and looked nice doing it, and it had nothing to do with anything else, though. I had planned on leaving and studying computers, but I actually liked being here, so I stayed.”

At the time, KT’s story didn’t seem to meet much criticism, but in the hours following the livestream, netziens began to feel offended by KT’s apparent non-chalant nature in joining the company and rushed to social media to express their disappointment:

TSTAR7: So it was just a game for KT? That’s really disrespectful of everyone else in Reaper7 who worked hard.

BloodSweatandReaper: I’m so upset…does he not really care? KT always seems more relaxed than other members, but I thought that he was just an easy going idol. I feel betrayed now!

Knetzy: Unstanned. He clearly is a stuck up idol treating his members and fans like toys until he’s bored again. I can’t believe this. I can’t give my support to an idol like this. He should leave and let the members who care continue on.

The negative comments where plentiful, but there were still many who continue to support KT and see the positive side of his story.

ReapMeBaby: Such fake fans! How can you suddenly not support him because he was honest. He clearly loves being a member and works hard. Just because he did it out of boredom doesn’t mean he’s doing it out of boredom now.

Iheartnerds: he’s so real about it. I’m glad he’s here, and I’m glad he trust us enough to tell us some of his history, because he doesn’t like talking about his past. I’ll continue to support him!

KTTT96:  KT loves us. And he loves Reaper7. Have you see how close he is with Yuu? If he really didn’t care anymore and thought this was a game, he would have gone to study computers like he said. KT, fighting!

[NEWS] REAPER7 FANS OPEN UP ABOUT MEMBER RELATIONS

Recent months have brought big announcements for Reaper7 including confirmed dating rumors and a marriage announcement. Many fans have taken kindly to it, showing the boys with support. But recent chatter in fan circles has brought to light the feelings of some fans:

“I'm honestly very sad about REAPER7 and their recent actions. I support them strongly and hope they have happy relationships, but hearing them say 'We love you, Grims' now has a shallow feeling, knowing they're dedicated their hearts so strongly to others that Baekhyun-oppa felt ready to be married. He’s to young for this.”

“If leader and the dance leader are both seeing noonas, isn't possible they're all dating? I am truly frustrated. They're being so dishonest with us when we support them so much. I used to trust Annie Kim as fanclub leader, but now knowing how close she is with them...it makes my skin crawl.”

“They interact so openly with other people on Twitter. KT-oppa talks so comfortably with Rosemarie that it seem suspicious. They act like they don’t care that we see them. I feel hurt.”

Similar messages have been found scattered across various fan sites and cafes. But not all GRIMS appear to be angry - Many have countered their statements, saying REAPER is still loving and respectful of fans even if they do have lives outside of limelight, even going so far as to ban such statements and deactivating the accounts of people who post them.

There has been no official response from REAPER7 or Two Star’s social media channels.

REAPER7′S JAYCE ANNOUNCES RELEASES FOR TWO NEW TRACKS + VIDEOS + MAKNAE COLLABORATION

Of REAPER7′s members, Jayce is known to be one to not utilize social media as much as the rest of the members. But the eldest member took to Twitter today to announce a special comeback for REAPER7

Special announcement, Grims! My members and I are working on a special release that we’re putting our hearts and souls into. At first, we thought we would wait, but we’re to excited to and want to share it as soon as possible.

In a Vlive later in the day, Jayce went on to clarify the intent behind the songs, and the promotion plans.

“It’s not a serious comeback. There will be two music videos, and we’ve agreed to only do one live show for it, but it’ll just be a digital release like lots of other members of Two Star do from time to time. We have such a short window to work on it, so we’ll be working really hard to get it done in time. We hope it’ll be good. But seriously, everyone, support us but don’t forget to support everyone else who will be performing on music shows this summer. Support them just as much as you’d support us.”

Jayce spoke a lot in this vlive about life in the dorm, got visited by more than a few of the animals known to live with, and answered questions before returning to the topic of the new releases, including mention of another member taking part in song writing.

One of our maknaes, Yuu, wrote one of the songs. I know you guys aren’t used to that. Yuu doesn’t usually do things like this but he wrote the first of the two songs we’re going to release and it’s a great song. It’s a great like...proclamation of who we are and what we do. It’s sort of a fight song. It’s a message from us to you guys and to the rest of the world.

No track names or teasers have been released yet, but Jayce implied that the release ill happen early June, perhaps somewhere around the same time as X-Gene’s upcoming official comeback.

REAPER7 DROPS TEASER VIDEO FOR STEVE AOKI COLLABORATION.

Reaper7 released a minute long teaser video today of their upcoming special release, finally putting to rest all the rumors and questions about the teaser image posted on Sunday. 

The song being released, Mic Drop, was originally a track on the Love Yourself 承 'Her' album and gained recognition as one of the more popular non-title tracks, with fans wishing for it to be promoted alongside DNA. Two Star instead opted to promote ‘Go Go’.

The teaser features Aoki at the forefront and gives a small snippet of the song’s new beat as well as gives an idea for the overall look of the video.

Two Star Entertainment releases official statement concerning dating scandal as well as Yeri Park’s Apology

With official consent, Two Star Entertainment’s own CEO’s have released a statement regarding Yeri of Reaper7.

‘ Hello, this is Two Star Entertainment.

After recent events, we have come to a conclusion that we will not halt any promotions or postpone any of Reaper7′s comebacks. However, we have also determined that due to said events the boys will be put on stict rules for the next few months and into the new year. We hope you all have a lovely holiday. And Wish all their fans good fortune within the new year.

Two Star Entertainment has followed up with a letter from Reaper7′s Leader, Yeri Park, concerning the dating scandal he was involved in.

‘Hello everyone, this is Yeri.

I know that I have recently hurt your hearts and I will rectify my careless actions with this apology to you, the grims, our loving fans. My actions were all together careless and I spoke without thinking to check if the cameras were still on.

I am sorry for the stream and my actions concerning it. The words that I said were words that were meant to be kept private. They were not meant to be shared with the rest of the world. Would I have done that in private, I still would have brought it up to Two Star Entertainment and done things the right way, without any backlash. We would have done it the right way. 

Please, as I know you are truly my fans, do not criticize Annie in any way. She has stepped down from her position as fan-club leader and she does not deserve the backlash that she is getting. Any backlash should be directed at me, because this is my fault. 

Furthermore, from now on I will concentrate on my music alone, being a better leader to Reaper7 and a leader that you can trust and look up to and love once again. Please continue to support Reaper7 and BYKY as we plan for a new year with promotions and a world tour.

Two Star drops a mysterious hint related to an unknown release

A mysterious image appeared on Two Star’s main website consisting solely of a date and the letters ‘BYKY’. The company has been known for it’s very clear and obvious hints and announcements of new projects and groups, so this stray from the norm has fans of the company’s various artists very confused.

Two Star Entertainment releases statement from Reaper7′s KT regarding VLIVE Incident

With official consent, Two Star Entertainment has released a statement regarding KT of Reaper7. 

Hello, this is Two Star Entertainment,

After recent events, we have come to the conclusion that we will not postpone any of Reaper7′s promotions, due to the success of the album and the group’s willingness to create their art. Here is his statement.

Hello, everyone. This is KT.

On my last solo VLIVE, I told everyone about how I came to join Two Star Entertainment, and it caused some distrust and distress to the fans. I apologize for the hurt you felt, and would like to tell you the rest of the story so you can feel comfortable in my dedication to my company and Reaper7.

As I said, I did audition as an experiment. I was a sad kid with little motivation and not much direction in my life. However, when I was hired, I was told that I got in because of my potential and my talent, not because of anything extra I did to try and seem more appealing. Two Star took me in as I was,, and I cherished that.

My plan had been to leave afterwards, but within a short amount of time, I met my members and came to know them better. Suddenly, I felt a little more at ease and a little more like I had a direction and a place to be. I stayed and worked hard because I had finally found what I was supposed to do and who I was supposed to do it with. I worked hard and practiced to match my members levels so i wouldn’t be a disappointment or a hindrance to them.

Please be assured that I don’t take my time with Reaper7 or my time with fans lightly. None of them, and none of you, are disposable to me. You’re my purpose, and without you, I don’t know where I’d be right now. Please continue to support us if you can find it in your hearts to do so.

We have also determined that Yeri of Reaper7 will be absent from five fansigns for his behavior behind the scenes. Please still support the group and give them lots of love for their upcoming world tour.

Reaper7′s KT shares shocking family news over V-Live

KT has proven in the past to have a penchant for for revealing to much information over V-Live with fans, but in his most recent broadcast, he revealed some very personal and positive news relating to his life -- he has found his long lost younger sibling, CIRQUE’S leader, Lee Seol.

In another livestream, KT shared that he is a foster child who was never formally adopted and instead simply aged out of the system. In this stream, he expanded on that story by telling fans that he has a sister that he hadn’t seen since he was six years old because she was adopted out of the system. KT elaborated more on how he went about finding her in the live:

When I became of age, I wasn’t sure if I had the heart to try and look for her. The agency told me I could get the information if I wanted, but I was scared...I really wanted to focus on my work when I was 20, so I didn’t. But about a month ago, I changed my mind and wanted to find her...it was really frightening, actually. I thought I’d feel better about it, but I was really nervous. I asked myself: “Is she looking for me? Does she even remember I exist? Will she accept me for who I am?” I was really concerned. But I got in contact with the agency anyway and they sent the information to me.

KT went on to explain how he felt when he found out who his sibling was, all smiles while he did so.

It’s a little funny because...because I knew that my sister’s name was Seol already, but I didn’t think for even a second that Seol of CIRQUE could be her. She and I didn’t interact to much before now but maybe if we had it would have triggered something? I don’t know...I don’t know. I think in a wierd way we were still connected...we both had orange hair at the same time and we both changed to black at the same time. Still connected as siblings...it’s so crazy. We’ve met up a lot now. She was really excited to meet me and even cried....did I cry? Aish -- why would I tell you that? I didn’t cry...I don’t cry alot. But I was still emotional. Seol is a really loving and excitable person. I’m happy to have her in my life...I wish I could have been around and grown up with her. But at least we’ve met now, so everything is okay now.

There were a myrad of comments during the live, ranging from love and support to excitement and desire to see the two sing together in the future

When bothered enough about doing a song together, KT responded as follows:

Mmm...I think it’s going to happen. It seems like the next logical thing to do. We really are very related in that we both don’t seem to be very good at song writing. But I think we’ll do something together in the future. Right now it’s more important to me that I get to know her better and focus on family and everything during this hiatus...so be patient with us, but look forward to something happening.

Fans seemed hopeful and expressed their intent to be patient. Hopefully one day in the future, more will be seen of Two Star’s new talented token siblings.
