       ❝ not at all. ❞ a classic trope---the masked thief, the veiled acquirer, as it were. he could truly laugh at the number of times he’s been asked about his doings by those aware of just who he is. it’s quite unfortunate that people have a tendency to assume that those stealing goods---personal effects or renowned masterpieces---would tarnish their stunning appearance via the terrible use of a mask. distantly, he wonders if he gives off that air of tastelessness; he’s skilled and certain of himself at all times, and given all of the absolute dedication he puts into his larceny, he certainly does not require the use of a mask to get the job done.

       he’s still getting away with quite a number of works of art to this day.
