quint’s parents actually used to be. a sten aqun-athlok and a ben-hassrath... both were chilling on seheron and accidentally fell in love. they’re the only adaar family that’s still together of all my adaars they. love each other so much... they refer to themselves as quint’s fathers even tho the one who birthed them sort of ids as more gender nonconforming now

quint’s birth name was kasaanda but they changed it to quintessa (quint for short) once they joined the merc group and left home so they could... get away from being qunari more. they’re really proudly vashoth and never learned much qunlat

their gnc dad was also albino but idt it’s that big a deal among qunari. it happens. 

quint doesn’t really like a lot of qunari stuff but does admire a lot of the gender dialogue of the qun so they refer to themself as aqun-athlok in some regard
