17 years ago I made 3 big denim quilts in one summer. I cut all three with scissors and a template and them swore off denim quilts forever! Two years later I designed my first strip pieced denim quilt. I wanted to make a quilt for my dad for Christmas but didn't have a lot of time, or money (I was still in high school.) In 2010, 3 years after buying my long arm machine I shared the tutorial on my blog. It's still one of my most popular tutorials, and in my opinion, the only way to make a denim quilt! :) I've since made several and given them as gifts. Today I'm quilting another Simply Denim quilt for a customer.
