Melatonin gives me weird dreams. I gotta write this one down really quick.
I was tracking a stolen albino red panda. In reality his colors were inverted, so he was light colored with red accents. I tracked him down to an asian restaurant that Bancho from Dave the Diver opened. He wasn't in the store atm, but the staff wouldn't let me behind the counter to catch the panda.
So I got to watch as his tail just looped back and forth behind the counter as this one scrawny kitchen staff member tried to catch him. The staff member went "Oh shit. He's in the walls."
And I said "Are you kidding me right now?" And the staff member went "Oh no, it's fine, the inside of the walls are connected to the drain pipe outside. You can go catch him that way."
So I went outside with a clicker and some jerky because the red panda was trained, only to find my estranged older sister with a 40s something year old man named Brandon, who had Raybans on and a really shitty buzzut, that I guess she started dating at whatever point in time.
They tried to intercept me from getting the panda by throwing basketballs at me, but I managed to get it.
Fat suit Mike Myers, specifically the one from Austin Powers, showed up and felt really bad for me after watching the altercation from his blacked out limo and apologized for stealing the red panda and swore to turn himself in for my troubles.
My dream immediately cut to a trial and I was called up for both a witness and a character witness for the Panda and for Mike. I decided to wake up after Mike gave a really heartfelt apology on the stand.

you showed me faith is not blind (miracles happen)
Pairing: Alex/Willie  Words: 4,415  Rating: T  Chapter Warnings: BRIEF mention of animal death, only a sentence in passing.  Chapter: 2/11  read on AO3
Chapter Summary:  "Then you would be Alexander Charles Taylor Mercer, Prince of Beasiga."
Alex bobs his head some more. "Yup. Exactly. That. So I'm pretty sure you've got it wrong, at least the father part."
His grandmother—maybe not?—laughs lightly and shakes her head. "I'm quite sure, Alexander. You have your father's eyes."
(2)
The rest of the school day passes uneventfully—just Julie and Alex getting some homework done early while discussing possibilities for their next gigs, that is, the ones they'll play after their Halloween gig at Drake's and their gig at Camelot just two weeks after that. Just as Alex finishes his biology worksheet, the final bell rings signaling the end of the school day. Footsteps thunder throughout the school as students hurried to lockers, and then to busses and cars, but Alex waits patiently at the table with Julie. She frowns at this. "Don't you have to catch your bus?"
"Not today. I'm getting picked up," Alex explains. "But I told them three so all the busses would be gone by then."
Luke joins them then, moving immediately over to Julie to press a kiss to her cheek sloppily, yelling, "midterms are done!"
She laughs, and pats his chest. "Yes, they are. Congratulations."
"Thank you, you too. And Alex! You did i—"
"No," Alex and Julie say at the same time.
Luke frowns and looks between then. Julie glances up at him. "I'll explain on the way home. Alex, do you want us to wait with you?"
"Nah, I'll be fine. You two get home. It's been a long week."
"Definitely," Luke agrees. "We'll see you tomorrow at practice."
Alex nods, and then the two of them take their leave. Settling back down at the table, he pulls his phone out of his pocket and messes around on it until he glances up in the right hand corner and sees it's two minutes to three. He gets up and makes his way outside, relieved to see that he was right about his timing—the busses and the majority of the student traffic are all gone, so whoever is picking him up should have no issue.
He's been standing along the sidewalk for less than three minutes when a polished black limo pulls into the parking lot—purple, gold, and grey flags sticking out of the front and back of the car. He raises an eyebrow as it drives into the student pick up area, and then looks around for whoever it might be here for. In the back of his head, he knows there's a possibility…
There's a girl walking out of the school with her head down, looking at her phone and he really, really hopes—
"Mr. Taylor?"
Shit.
He turns to the voice and sees the driver of the limo out of the limo out at the back door, holding the back door open for him. "If you may."
"Uh, thanks."
It's an awkward ride over—the partition is up so he doesn't get the chance to speak with the driver like he'd (maybe) hoped to, and his phone can only keep his mind so occupied when he's riding in the back of a limo. It's not like he'd about to post this on social media or text his friends about it, anyways. So he's left mindlessly scrolling through instagram, which is boring after a while. He shuts his phone screen off and leans his head back against the headrest. He has no idea where his grandmother is even staying during her visit to LA. It could be a while.
Sooner than he expects though, they're pulling into a drive way for a… a… house? mansion? palace? castle? Alex honestly isn't sure. None of the words feel right. He looks at the surroundings. Whatever it is, it feels out of place here. It's on a normal street, with normal houses and buildings next to it—normal houses that are towered by its reaching gates and normal buildings that are put to shame by its elegant architecture. He sits up and collects his bag that some how drifted to the middle of the limo during the ride and opens the door, slamming it into the driver, who was just about to open the door for him, in the process. Alex gasps. "Oh, my god, I am so sorry!"
"No worries, sir," the driver nods, stepping further back from the door, allowing Alex to push it further open so he can step out.
From there, he makes his way to the front door where he and his backpack are patted down. When they're given the all clear, he's ushered through marble tiled hallways, past a wooden floor library, until they reach a living room with a plush, golden carpet. Alex feels like he should take his shoes off but the person leading him doesn't take theirs off, and doesn't ask him to take his off, so… Alex's shoes stay on.
"Please, have a seat," the man says with a motion at the overly white couch to Alex's left. Alex sits carefully on the couch, resting his bag next to his feet between the table and the couch. He looks back up at the man who is still standing in the entryway. "I am Alden, an attaché for Beasiga."
"Cool," Alex nods. He has no idea what that means. He'll Google it later. "Hey, uh, Alden? What is this place?"
Alden reaches an arm out and gestures around, which Alex thinks is a little unnecessary, but. Well. "This is the Beasiga Consulate."
"Oh," Alex frowns. That, he does know. Well, sort of. He knows it's something similar to an embassy, and he knows an embassy is for diplomats. So—his grandmother must be a diplomat. Meaning she must take much pride in Beasiga meanwhile Alex couldn't even remember the name of the country until Alden said it a minute ago. He certainly wasn't going to know any pub trivia about Beasiga to impress her.
"So—my grandmother… is she—"
"Am I what?"
Alex's neck cricks at how fast he whips it around to find the source of the new voice. At the other entrance of the living room stands an elderly woman in a grey dress that is both simple and elegant. He can see from looking at her from where he's sitting that she's much shorter than Alex, but the way she holds herself makes you doubt that. Most importantly, she has a wide, toothy grin on her face that makes Alex relax into the couch. She looks so genuinely welcoming that he can't help but forget about his worries about Beasiga and pub trivia.
"Alexander," she says. Somehow, it sounds like she's singing and commanding it both at once.
Alex stands from his seat and crosses the room to her. "It's nice to finally meet you," he greets. He's not sure if he should go for a handshake or a hug, but she solves his issues by stepping into his space and reaching up to hug his neck. He leans down and hugs back.
"It's long overdue," she tells him as she steps back. "Now come, sit with me, please. We have much to catch up on, yes?"
For the next while they talk about Alex's life and somehow he doesn't feel overwhelmed about it. He tells her about growing up in Los Angeles, about meeting Luke and Reggie in kindergarten, and then Julie and Flynn in seventh grade. He tells her about forming their band in eighth grade and then about befriending Willie in ninth grade. He goes on to talk about his siblings—Ava and Austin—that his mom has with his step dad, and then his love of English and reading and his inability of all things technological. They some how end up on the topic of his dancing, and he explains that he doesn't dance often, but he loves when he gets to.
Conversation shifts at some point to her life in Beasiga, though she is much more vague than Alex would like her to be. She tells him about her dogs (two Dobermans, Mia and Sophia) and her horses, an entire stable full. They talk about his dad for a while—just superficial things for now, like the fact that he'd never gotten remarried or had another child, and like the fact that his favorite horse was named Charlie, for Alex's middle name. She speaks briefly of her work with the government, just small asides here and there about projects they're working on, and countries they're working with. There's a lot of history that she brings up, but she never seems upset when he doesn't understand her references, at least, not until…
"I don't suppose you've heard of Frederick Alexander Louis Mercer?" his grandmother asks with a deep frown, crossing her ankle behind her other foot carefully.
He frowns. Here's that pub trivia he doesn't know. "No, I can't say I have."
"Frederick was Beasiga's crown prince," she tells him with a meaningful look, which he doesn't understand. She leans forward. "And Frederick was your father."
Alex's mind blanks. "That's… okay," he says, bobbing his head in a quick nod as he presses his lips together and bites the insides of them, trying to will some thoughts back into his mind. "I don't think—I'm not sure you're quite right on that. Because if you were, then—"
"Then you would be Alexander Charles Taylor Mercer, Prince of Beasiga."
Alex bobs his head some more. "Yup. Exactly. That. So I'm pretty sure you've got it wrong, at least the father part."
His grandmother—maybe not?—laughs lightly and shakes her head. "I'm quite sure, Alexander. You have your father's eyes."
"Lots of people have similar features, I mean, only so much diversity can realistically be expected, honestly," Alex rambles. He thinks it makes sense. He's like. 60% sure it makes sense.
"A paternity test was done because of your heritage."
Alex sucks in a sharp breath through his teeth. "Yeah, that one's a little harder to contest."
His grandmother—apparently definitely—smiles at him like he's not making a fool of himself right now. She reaches across the gap between the chair and the couch and places her hand on his. "I am Queen Louisa Mercer, and you, Alexander, are the natural heir to the Beasiga throne."
"… okay."
"Okay?" his grandmother repeats, quirking an elegant eyebrow and drawing her hand back.
Alex shakes his head, getting himself back into it. "I mean—I—uh. Actually, I'm not… really sure what I mean. I… you know I can't be a prince, right? Being a prince means eventually being a king, well, at least in this case it would I think, and being a king means ruling a country and ruling a country means leading people and the only thing I can lead is a beat when I'm with my band. I mean you do realize I have absolutely no experience with… princely or… royal affairs, right? I wouldn't know how to act, or talk, or… no, no. I'm not a prince."
"But you are, dear Alexander," she smiles, "and don't worry about how you speak or behave for now, we have plenty of lessons planned to help with that. Oh, it will take plenty of work but you are certain to become a magnificent prince, how could you not? And oh, you'll love Beasiga, the palace is a beautiful place to live—"
"I'm sorry," Alex cuts her off, "but LA is also a 'beautiful' place to live, with my friends, with the added bonus that it comes without the crushing pressure of ruling a country. And you're speaking as if you know me. You're certain I'll become a magnificent prince? How? Did you get to know me so well in the first year of my life? Because you missed the next fifteen years of my life and if you were to ask around, people who actually know me would laugh at the idea of me ruling a country. Like I said, I'm not a prince. I'm barely even a functioning human."
Without waiting for a response (though he hears her vehement protests), he gathers up his backpack and shoves himself off the couch and hurries through the halls to the front door. He doesn't wait for the doorman to open the door, instead flings it open himself in his rush to get out, out, out.
From there, it's a matter of running down the drive way, out the gate, and as far away from the house (mansion? palace? castle?) as he can before he collapses to the ground and curls in on himself, breaths coming and going raggedly. He pulls out his phone and swipes through his contacts, looking for the least stressful person he can think of. He taps the name and listens to the phone ringing, hugging his knees to his chest as he counts his breaths, in—2, 3, 4. Hold—2, 3, 4, 5, 6—
"Alex?"
"Julie," he exhales, a second too early, but he thinks Julie is more likely to help him now than a breathing exercise. "Julie," he repeats.
"Alex? Shit—what happened?"
Alex laughs mirthlessly. "Oh. So, so much, Jules. I can't even begin… I can't… I don't—It's all—"
"Okay, we don't need to talk about it then," Julie says. "Hey, is anyone with you? Can you tell me where you are? Just—I need to know you're safe." Alex looks up and finds the intersection he's near and rattles it off to her. She's quiet for a moment. "Thank you," she murmurs. "Do you need to do a grounding exercise or do you just need someone to talk to?"
"Just need someone to talk to," Alex says, dropping his head so his forehead is resting on his knees. "I—as much as I'm freaking out, I still feel like everything that happened was a joke or something? So there's anxiety, and it's bad, but it's not… it's not debilitating yet."
"That's good," she says, and Alex can imagine her nodding with her words. "Do you… do you want to talk about what happened? We don't—oh, wait. Willie just texted me back, I texted the group with where you were and he's ten minutes out. He's going to pick you up."
"Oh."
"Do you want me to tell him not to?"
"Uh—no, it's. It's fine." He looks back down the street in the direction that he came from—where his grandmother was currently staying. He's actually surprised no one had chased after him, but he supposes that it's not urgent as they have ways to find and approach him later. He huffs at that, right into the phone, reigniting Julie's worry. "No, no, I'm fine," he reassures her when she asks again if he wants her to call Willie off. "It's not that. It's… I… don't know. It's been a long day, Jules."
"I'm sorry," she says, and she's so sincere that her apology alone makes him feel a little bit better. He smiles, and feels his breathing even out a little bit. "I'm going to stay on the phone with you until Willie gets to you, okay?"
"Yeah, okay," Alex nods. He searches his brain for anything that could possibly take his mind off of what just happened. He's not surprised when his thoughts land on music. "Did you and Luke figure out the second verse of Finally Free yet?"
"Oh, my gosh! Yes! I can't believe we forgot to tell you today! We cracked it last night…"
He listens to her babble on excitedly about their new song for the next few minutes until he hears the crunching of tires on pavement. He looks down the street and sees Willie's forest green '02 Accord—completely out of place in this neighborhood—pulling up and smiles. He interrupts Julie in the middle of her sentence, which he knows she forgives him for the exact moment it happens, and thanks her for talking with him and for sending Willie. She bids him goodbye and he pushes himself off the ground and grabs his backpack once he's on his feet. Willie rolls to a stop when he's in front of Alex and Alex can hear the click of the doors unlocking. He looks in the car and sees Willie flash his eyebrows up and down quickly and grin. He smiles back and gets in the car, setting his bag at his feet before buckling himself in.
"Thank you," Alex says in greeting.
"You know I'd do anything for you," Willie shrugs, looking back at the road as he shifts the car into drive. "I was just driving around listening to music anyways."
"Still, I appreciate it. I would have had to call my mom otherwise and I don't really want to speak to her right now."
Willie laughs. "What? You came all the way out here with no way of getting back? And what'd your mom do?"
"Oh, no, someone from… someone was supposed to drive me back but—well. Uh. Anyway. And my mom—she. Let's just say she hasn't exactly been honest with me." Alex fiddles with the ripped threads on the knee of his jeans and tries to ignore the looks he can feel Willie throwing at him every few seconds.
"Hasn't been honest in what way?"
Alex hesitates. On one hand, he really doesn't want to talk about this. It is an especially bad idea to talk about this to Willie because he doesn't want to tell his crush that he's a prince, where it might seem like he's trying to make himself seem impressive for his crush, which he certainly does not want to do. Then again, Willie would have to assume Alex has a crush on him to jump to that conclusion and if Willie assumes Alex has a crush on him, Alex has bigger problems. However, if there's anyone to tell, it would be Willie. Sure, Julie might be the obvious choice, but she'd push him to be honest with Luke and Reggie as well, which he… doesn't want to do. He's not sure if they'd resort to teasing him about it or ending up weird about it, and right now, he doesn't want to deal with either of those things. Willie though. Willie can keep a secret like no one's business. Julie still doesn't know that Alex's little sister accidentally killed her hamster when Julie asked Alex to watch her while Julie's family went on vacation over spring break in the ninth grade. Alex called Willie in a panic and Willie drove him to seven different pet stores until they found an identical hamster with a similar temperament. So, Willie could be trusted.
The question is, though, did Alex want to tell him? To a degree, yes, because this was Willie and despite being scared of saying things that would embarrass himself, Willie always made him feel safe and he wanted to share things with Willie. But also, telling Willie would make it more real. Telling Willie would bring it out from his grandmother's house (mansion? palace? castle?) and into the real world and Willie knowing about it would make it more personal. Right now, the further Willie drove from Alex's grandmother's house (mansion? palace? castle?), the further the anxiety got from him. He worries that if he tells Willie, that anxiety will come back.
But the anxiety will come back anyways, won't it? It's not likely that that's the last he's seen of her and her… crew? And he's going to have to face his mom too, who must know exactly what was happening today. So, maybe it would be nice to have someone on the outside to talk about it with… right?
Alright, so that's decided. He's going to tell Willie.
Alex sucks in a deep breath and it wavers. He goes to speak, but instead, he just lets out a small whimper instead. Willie looks to him, alarmed, and then back to the road. Alex hears the turn signal tick, tick, tocking, and then the car is turning, and then stopping. Willie puts the car in park and twists in his seat to face Alex. "Hey, Alex," he says, reaching a hand over to grab Alex's left hand off his thigh. "Can you look at me?"
Alex looks at him.
"Cool, thanks. You having an attack?"
Alex blinks. Willie is still in focus, and he can feel Willie's hand in his, can feel Willie's thumb rubbing against the back of his hand, can hear the traffic on the streets rather than the blood rushing in his head. He shakes his head no.
"Great. That's great. Do you want to talk about what happened today, or do you wanna go watch me crash and fall off my skateboard at the park while I try and do some gazelle flips?"
Alex laughs and draws in a steadying breath. It's still shaky, but less so. "I want to."
"Okay. Take your time, okay? We've got all the time in the world, yeah?"
"Yeah."
Willie smiles and squeezes his hand. Alex smiles back, but he doubts it comes out looking much like a smile. He looks away and looks out the front window of the car. They're in a drug store parking lot, parked far off to the side away from the clump of all the actual customers' and employees' cars. It gives them some semblance of privacy, yet it also draws attention to them by making them separate. Alex wonders if somehow, him now knowing he's a prince, if he's also somehow separate from everyone else. If something about him has changed, and people's eyes are going to be drawn to him the way they are to a car parked away from the others in a crowded parking lot. On some level, he knows that's ridiculous. Nothing about him has changed. Hell, he hasn't even fully processed or accepted this fact. And yet his world still feels fundamentally altered and he thinks that, somehow, everyone will be able to see that on him somehow.
"Two days ago my mom told me my grandmother was in town and wanted to meet with me," Alex starts, not giving himself any more time to think. He's staring at a license plate number but even looking directly at it he couldn't tell you what it was. "It—well, my paternal grandmother. I know you know that Mike is my step-dad but when I was a year and a half my biological dad and my mom got divorced and I never heard from him, or my paternal grandparents, again apart from the yearly birthday and Christmas gifts. And you might remember I got the news that my biological dad passed away at the end of July." Here, Willie hums. "I thought, maybe my grandmother wants to connect with her only remaining family. That's how it started out, too. It really seemed like that was her intention.
"But then she asked about—fuck, I can't even remember his full name. But she asked me about the prince of Beasiga. The prince of Beasiga, who was my father." Willie's thumb stops rubbing Alex's hand but Alex doesn't let that stop him. "Now, she mentioned earlier in the conversation that my father never remarried, that I was his only child, that he was her only child, so that made… so I'm a prince? Of Beasiga. And the natural heir. And she wants me to take prince lessons so I can one day become king and rule Beasiga, which I doubt she'd think would be a good idea if she could see me now. Sure, give the kid with panic attacks an army!"
It was quiet for a long moment and then Willie squeezes his hand. "Beasiga doesn't have an army. They only have a national guard." Alex snaps his head around to look at him. "I did a project on the country in tenth grade world history."
"See?!" Alex cries. "You know more about this country than I do! And they expect me to lead it?!"
Willie frowns. "Well, they'd give you lessons—"
"You—what you think I should go lead this country?" Alex gapes.
"Wha—n-no! I just meant that if you took those lessons you'd learn what I had learned. They wouldn't send you in empty handed," he says, and Alex notices Willie's thumb has started rubbing circles on the back of Alex's hand again. He feels some tension seep out of his body and he relaxes back into the car's seat and closes his eyes.
Alex sighs and brings his right hand up, pressing his thumb and forefinger into his eyelids until he starts to see white. "My mom… She never told me. Sixteen years. Even after he died and she probably knew there was a possibility of this happening. How is that fair? I deserved to know about this."
"You did," Willie agrees.
The car grows silent after that. Only the noise of the stalled engine fills the air. Alex brings his hand away from his face and looks over to Willie, who is watching him with warm eyes. The weight of Willie's hand in his is comforting, enough that Alex has the split second thought of leaning over the gearshift and kissing his friend. That thought is shoved out of his mind as soon as it comes. His friendship with Willie is something he's never willing to risk. Well, 'risk' implies there's a chance that Willie might return his feelings, which Alex is sure he doesn't. Kissing Willie would be purely self-indulgent and Alex can't do that. It'd be nice, but—
"You're taking all of this very well," Alex says, breaking the silence of the car while also silencing his thoughts. "What are you actually thinking?"
Willie grins and squeezes Alex's hand. "Oh, yeah. Very well. My best friend is a long lost prince, I'm not freaking out at all," Willie rolls his eyes. "I'm… thinking that I've always thought you were regal, so this—"
"Oh, come on," Alex rolls his eyes.
Willie leans back laughing, eyes crinkling at the edges and Alex's stomach flips. After a few seconds Willie sobers up and his laughter subdues into a soft smile. He sends a wave through his arm, shaking Alex's in turn. "I'm thinking that this is a stressful situation but that you're gonna get through it. And that I'm gonna be here for you, okay?"
Alex squeezes Willie's fingers. "Okay."
Willie slips his hand from Alex's and readjusts in his seat so he's sitting facing forward again. His hand falls on to the gearshift. "I think you've had enough for one day, huh? Wanna go get tea?"
"Fucking please."

Continued...
I held my stomach. "I'm-" I started, staring at the tears. "Pregnant," Lucy continued for me. I could have passed out then. "I have to call Austin." I said, dialing my phone. Lucy stood. "I'll give you some privacy, let me know what he says-" I grabbed her hand. I couldn't do this alone. I was terrified. "Please stay." I said. She nodded, sitting down, still holding my hand. I dialed Austin's number.
Voicemail.
I called his work. It was about noon there, so he had to be there. I put it on speaker. "Austin McManns office, this is Shelly." I heard Shelly say. "Hey, Love. It's Leah. I need to talk to Austin." I said sternly but sweetly. Her response was, surprising. "Sorry, he's busy. I can take a message." She said. I huffed. "It's an emergency. I have to talk to him now." I said more stern than nice. She raised her voice a bit at me. "Look, I said he was busy. He's in a meeting with a band who could be big. He doesn't have time right now. What do you want?" She said. "First of all, Bitch," Lucy said getting angry. I calmed her, rolling my eyes at Shelly. "This isn't something I want him hearing from his assistant. I'm his wife. Okay? His wife. Anything I have to say is an emergency. Now get him on the phone before you loose your job." I said. She laughed a bit. I heard her voice getting soft. "Hey, she's on the phone. I don't know, said it was an emergency. That's what I said!" She came back on the phone and forwarded my call. He answered. "Leah, I can't talk right now. What?" He said. "I'm pregnant." I said right away. The phone was silent. Then I heard a click, and my phone went to the home screen. He... hung up? My heart sank to my stomach.
I shook my head. "He's been a real prick lately." I said. Lucy's face was bright red. She was angry. "It's okay, he's... sick." I said. A few minutes of us ranting, we decided to get ready.
It took us about 4 hours. We wanted to shower, shave, all of that. We did each other's hair and make up, zipped each other up as I got a call from Roger. "This is for the press. Once you ladies are done, you'll be escorted to a limo by the boys. We're in the front when you're ready." He said. "We're done, just give us 5 minutes to get our purses and shoes on." I said, hanging up. "Press is here. We have to make a good impression. Ready?" I said, as we both grabbed our small purses. We walked out of the door. I put one of the pregnancy tests in my bag. "I think, if the time and occasion is appropriate, I'll tell everyone. No sense in hiding it." I told her in the elevator. She rubbed my arm.
We got out of the elevator and in the front was a massive amount of people. Brian came up to my arm, taking mine in his. "We had this party planned for months, we just thought it was a good way to get excitement going for the movie." He whispered, smiling for pictures. I nodded, not really smiling but slightly smirking. I've never been a full on smiley person for pictures. After we got in the limo, we drives around for a while. I sat next to Ben and Rami. I was still in shock at the fact that I was having a baby.
After about 45 minutes of laughter and stories of what we did on our day off, we arrived to a secluded building in what I'd describe as the middle of no where. Walking in, it was a cast and crew party where Queen would play some of their biggest hits in honor of Freddie and the movie starting to be filmed. We all took our seats. My seat was reserved next to Gwilym and Lucy. Ben was across from me, Joe was next to Gwil and Rami, who was next to Lucy. We had all gotten dinner here.
They served what is usually my favorite diner, a cheese burger with bacon and fries, but for some reason the smell made me gag, so I only ate the fries. We were drinking glasses of water once the wine was being poured. But, since I'm carrying a baby, I opted out of drinking. Gwilym noticed this, however. While everyone was watching Brian and Roger singing, he turned to me. "What's wrong, love? You haven't eaten your burger or had any wine, are you okay?" He said. I looked at him, my breathing started to pick up. I nodded my head. He raised his eye brow at me. "I swear, I'm alright." I continued.
The band took a break, as Brian nudged his head at me in a 'hello' way. I smiled at him. I had to tell him. He could tell I had something to tell him, otherwise why else would he be walking towards me. He held out his arm to me. "Care to join me for a walk?" He asked. I smiled and nodded, grabbing my purse as we walked. Lucy knew what was about to happen. He walked me out to the back, where there was a beautiful garden, a fountain, and the sunset in the back as marvelous. An absolute gorgeous scene. As we walked, he slowed at the koi pond. "How are things going, love?" He asked. I looked up at the six foot something tall man. "I'm," I started. "Im okay," I said, obviously that's not what I was going to say. He could tell, too, by the way I looked down. "I love you like I'd love my kids, Maleah. I knew from the day we met you, I wanted to be there for you when you need me," he stated, stopping. "And right now, something tells me you need me. So talk to me, dear, what's wrong?" He said. I let my jaw drop, in hopes the words would come out on their own. Instead, I grabbed the test from my bag and showed him. He huffed, he smiled wide. I looked up at him. He could tell how scared I was. He pulled me into a hug. "It'll be okay, my sweet girl. I know our dear Ben has been worrying about you. I think this is news to share with us all, if you're comfortable with it." He said, looking down at me. I needed this, I missed my dad. I nodded. "Only you guys, though. Lucy knows, too. But I don't want everyone in there knowing." I said. He nodded his head. "I can make sure it's just us in there by the end of the night. Just for you, Leah." He said, smiling. "Thank you, for being there for me."
We walked back inside, and enjoyed the party. The last live song of the night was them singing Love Of My Life. Everyone was up slow dancing. But I stayed at the table, looking at my belly. "It may just be you and I, little guy," I whispered quietly to it. I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Ben. "What were you saying?" He asked, smiling and taking a seat next to me. I looked at him for a moment. "I was just, singing." I said. Quickest lie I've ever told to be truthful. He nodded his head. "Fair enough," He said. He stood up, holding his hand out to me. "Dance with me." He said. I looked at the dance floor, my phone, that didn't even have a text from Austin, then my belly, then at him. I nodded, taking his hand. We danced slowly, swaying our hips to the rhythm of the song. He held me so close to him, so caring, so gentle. But I can't get used to this. In a few short weeks, it'll be gone and I'll be back in my home with Austin. But why not saver the moment? I sure could use the comfort. "Why are you so nice to me?" I asked, resting my head on his shoulder, my face close to his neck. He smelled so nice, if that's not too creepy. "You deserve it." He says back. I smiled at the comment. We stood so close to each other for the remainder of the song. 'Fuck me, I want to be his,' I thought. I closed my eyes. I can't be falling for someone while I'm married. Brian's voice came over the speakers.
"Thank you all so much for coming to celebrate the life of Freddie as we kick off such a great movie. We love you and we will see you all soon. If the ones in my limo could hang back for a few moments for a quick meeting, that'd be lovely. Have a great night all, cheers!" He said, sipping whatever was in his glass.
The room was finally clear. Brian finally walked up. "So, what's up, Bri?" Roger asked. "All, Leah has something she wants to share." He said pointing to me. Lucy held my hand, and Brian rested a hand on my shoulder. "Um, I'm," I started. How do I do this? How do I talk again? I forgot. "You're...?" Rami said. "Preg- pregnant. I'm pregnant." I said. I suddenly couldn't breath. I couldn't hear. I couldn't see straight. It was officially real and happening. I was overcome with 'congratulations' and 'this is such a blessing, I'm happy for the two of you' and whatnot. I couldn't help but to cry. Luckily they thought it was happy tears. But Ben could see past that.
We got back to the hotel room. "Hey, I wanna talk to you," He said. I opened my door for him, as he walked in, I followed, shutting the door. He sat on the bed as I sat next to him. "Pregnant," He said to himself. I nodded, showing him the test. He nodded to himself. "I'm, I'm happy for you." He said. It didn't sound very convincing. "I don't think I can do this, Ben. With Austin sick and all-"
"Damnit, Leah!" He said standing.
I was taken aback by his response.
"He's not sick! He's an abusive prick!" He started to pace around. "Now, I know you're a strong girl. And I was hoping you'd find the will to leave him before this happens, and now you have a baby on the way. Have you told him yet?" He said. I nodded my head. I looked down in shame. "He, He hung up the phone." I said. He threw his hands up in disbelief. "For fucks sake," he whispered. "Leah please. Leave him. If not for yourself, for this sweet, little, precious life growing inside of you." He said, kneeling by my belly, placing a hand on it gently. I smiled, shedding tears. "For the love of God. Be with someone who'd kill for his family, not hang up the phone when you tell him you're adding to it-"
"You're right," I said. And he was.
I had to leave him. But it was something I had to do when we got back from London. I started to sob once again. "I'm sorry," I said, wiping my tears. He pulled me into his arms. "We're here for you, you're our family." He said
"Get some sleep, love." He said getting up. I couldn't be alone again. I can't. "Ben, will," I started. He turned at looked at me. "Will you sleep here with me? I just can't be alone again. Just for tonight," I said. He smiled. "Of course. Let me go change, you change, and I'll be back." He said. I nodded. He left, as I quickly got into a comfy long shirt that went to my mid thigh, and some sleeping shorts. He walked in as I was taking my make up off, my hair already in a hair tie. He was already in bed. I walked out, turning out the light.
I crawled in next to him. I turned to face him. "Thank you for doing this, really. I'm just so tired of being alone. I don't want anything to happen," I said, putting emphasis on 'happen', I'm still married even though I planned on ending it. "But feeling someone who cares about me here, it makes things feel okay." I said. He pulled me closer, not quite cuddling, but close enough for him to play with my hair, knocking me to sleep.

Opening the Door
[Hope]
Hope moved to open the door and dipped as Grace stood beside her. “What the fuck are you doing?” She asked softly since the kids were in the room. “You do know this is my house, where are you going?”
[Grace]
“I just…I just thought if Austin saw me he wouldn’t be so shy…he can…he can be rather shy.” She tried to say so she didn’t start a fight with Hope again. “I am just trying to help.”
[Hope]
“Helping would be staying by your husband and not moving. Zach already wants you dead, don’t push it. Austin can see you when he walks in.” She said before looking away from her. “You’re here already. I don’t need Zach thinking something is wrong.” She says as she opens the door and lets David and Austin in.
[Henry]
Henry was talking with Hallie about what the night was going to consist of but more specifically what Hallie thought the night was going to consist of. He knew this was supposed to be exciting but he wasn’t really sure about it.
[Hallie]
“Oh I think it will be really fun. Grandpa bought us a limo so I invited some of our other friends for us to pick up. Like um…Josh I think his name is.” She said as she fixed her hair before seeing the door open.
[Henry]
“You invited my ex to come with us to prom are you out of your fucking mind?” He asks to try to see if she was actually being serious about this.
[Hallie]
“Didn’t dad say we aren’t allowed to cuss at each other?” She asked as she looked at him. “And he needed a ride and he is like a friend of yours so I didn’t mind. And David didn’t either.”
[Henry]
“He is my ex Hallie. Not a friend. My EX. Would you have wanted me to invite one of yours to come with us knowing you have David? No you wouldn’t. It’s common sense Hallie.”
[Hallie]
“Oh I forgot you had no friends. It’s too late. I already did it. It would be rude to disinvite him and unlike you, he is really nice to me. So he’s coming. You already have a date so why does it matter?”
[Henry]
“You don’t get it Hallie and you never will. Maybe you shouldn’t have invited him in the first place. I am telling mom that I am not going and you know if I don’t go she won’t let you go either so. You better find a way very quick.” He tells her.
[Hallie]
“You are such a baby. Tell mom, I don’t care. You do realize Grace is here because of you and dad looks like he’s going to pop a blood vessel. Stiles is avoiding mom at all costs, this is all because you couldn’t get a date on your own. So yes if you need more drama right now, tell mom.”
[Henry]
“Look I have tried to make up with Josh and it didn’t work okay. He never messaged me back or wanted to meet up. I never asked for any of this. It’s embarrassing Hallie. I thought you would understand that.” He says as his eyes flashed blue.
[Hallie]
“You do realize everyone was walking around school calling me a slut for sleeping with my teacher. I am beyond embarrassed everytime I go to school and I have to get over it. You broke his heart so no I’m assuming he didn’t want to talk to you.”
[Henry]
“Yeah I do know that and I helped you through that so you should understand how I feel right now. I didn’t break his heart. What are you even talking about? He didn’t want me. His family doesn’t like ours and doesn’t want us to be together so what am I supposed to do? Mom was not around and you never helped me through it. I was on my own and now you want me to watch as he probably goes with someone else because he doesn’t want me anymore. He broke my heart by telling me all that and not being there when mom was going through…” He suddenly couldn’t breath as he pushed past her.
[Hallie]
“Oh my god Henry, not everything is about you. Mom was in a coma and I was pregnant. And no I talked to him, Josh only said that his parents didn’t like ours because they were both, at the time, killers. Dad is still a killer and while we are perfectly okay with that, not everyone is and that is okay. His family had every reason to be scared. Dad killed my last boyfriend for breaking up with me. That’s not normal. So stop. Please. Other people have bigger issues.”
[Henry]
“I don’t care if his parents don’t like ours. I was upset because Mom was in a coma and you were having your own drama and I just wanted to escape from it and he kept trying to push me. You know I don’t like talking about how I feel. It was too overwhelming at the time. I know I said stupid things but I miss him and I just want him to want me again.” Henry said before moving to the bathroom.
[Hallie]
Hallie eyes turned bright red and she slapped him “Fuck you.” She said softly as her eyes flashed blue and she ran upstairs to her room.
[Henry]
“Of course now you make it all about you.” He mumbled after she went upstairs and he slammed the door to the bathroom.
[Hope]
Hope looked over at Hallie and Henry when she heard the slap and was beyond confused. “What the fuck is going on?” She asked before seeing Hallie run upstairs. “Zach?”
[Zach]
Zach saw Hallie slap Henry and he went over and stopped her before she could make it up the stairs. “Where do you think you are going? We do not slap our siblings in this house.” He says as he grabs her wrist. “Henry, get back out here. We don’t slam doors in this house either.” He called out.
[Hallie]
Hallie ripped her arm away from him. “Stop it.” She says before running back upstairs.
[Henry]
Henry had tears falling down his face as he opened the door back up. The red mark was already forming on his cheek. “She invited my ex-boyfriend to come with us tonight. And she knows I am not over it but she doesn’t care.”
[Hope]
Hope was a bit overwhelmed with everything going on and she knew that wasn’t good for the baby. She looked at Zach and then Henry and Hallie. “Everyone in the kitchen, now.” She said. “That means both of you.”
[Zach]
Zach stopped Hallie again, this time keeping her from getting away. “I said where do you think you are going?” His eyes burned red as he spoke to her. “You do not walk away from me young lady. Now get back down here or I am sending David home.”
[Hallie]
Hallie pushed her father away. “I hate you.” She said softly before hearing her mother’s words and stopping. She groaned as she moved to follow them into the kitchen.
[Henry]
Henry followed into the kitchen after his mother. He wiped his eyes, the spot on his cheek turning even redder.
[Zach]
“You watch your mouth young lady. Listen to your mother and go to the kitchen.” He tells her as he ushers everyone into the kitchen.
[Hope]
“What the fuck is going on? Hallie, did you really invite Josh without telling your brother? And why did you slap him? Henry, what did you say to your sister that made her so mad?” She asked.
[Hallie]
“I don’t even understand why I have to explain anything. Henry is a dick.” She snapped before sighing.
[Zach]
“It doesn’t matter if you think your brother is a dick or not, that does not give you permission to slap him or physically hurt him. We raised you better than that Hallie.”
[Henry]
“I didn’t even say anything that bad. I told her that I didn’t want her to invite him and she told me it’s not all about me. I told her it's embarrassing because he won’t get back to me nor will he accept my apologies. And she said that I should just suck it up and be embarrassed like she did in school when she got pregnant. I wasn’t the one that invited my siblings ex boyfriend to come to prom with us knowing how she feels about him. That is a dick move.”
[Hallie]
“You are such a fucking liar. You basically blamed me having my son on you being a shitty boyfriend. No one told you to insult Josh’s family. You did that all on your own. She’s my mom too, you don’t think her being in a coma while I was fucking pregnant wasn’t stressful to me? Dad wouldn’t leave her side, Emmett was a fucking mess, and you…gosh everything is always about you so you were being a dick to everyone.”
[Hope]
Hope tried breathing to calm herself down and ignored the pain in her stomach as she looked at the kids. “You both are being a pain in my ass. Hallie you can’t go around inviting people that you have no business inviting and Henry, you know how sensitive your sister is about the whole pregnancy thing. You both were stressed and handled it differently. You don’t need to fight. You are family.”
[Zach]
Zach could notice that there was a pain in her stomach due to her heartbeat skipping. “Hope, I can take care of this. Maybe you should go back and make sure our guests are okay. I don’t want something to happen, you know.” He says as he waits for her to leave.
[Henry]
Once Hope left Henry spoke. “She was the one that brought up the whole pregnancy thing. I just wanted her to not invite him. Yeah it was stressful on you too but I am sorry, you have a boyfriend to help you with that so forgive me for not falling at your feet like he does the moment you want something. It was all about you Hallie. Everything is about the princess Hallie. She gets pregnant and everyone needs to help her through it. I have followed the rules and been good and you had me, David, Emmett and mom and dad to help you through your crap. Who helped me? Who kept me from snapping at my boyfriend who had been trying to keep me from snapping at everyone else? No one. No one did because it was all about you!”
“It’s always been about you and the one time I want you to do something simple and not invite the person who got snapped at for everything because no one was there for me. It’s not that hard, Hallie. You knew what happened, you never talked to me once. You never tried to help even once. You went around talking to him and told me things to make me feel even worse about what happened and now you want to blame it on me. No. I hate you. Everything would have been fine between him and I if everyone just did what they were told and followed directions!” He snapped as his eyes turned bright red before flashing black.
[Hallie]
“Princess? God you are so far up your own ass you don’t even see anything but yourself. If my life was so fucking perfect, I wouldn’t of had to spend everyday with Tommy and Ellie. But no Henry all you care about is yourself and that is why Josh broke up with you. Because people are going through shit. Stop lying! You weren’t there for me. You know absolutely nothing! I moved to David’s house because I didn’t have anyone. I-“
[Hope]
“Henry.” Hope snapped as she heard him say he hated his sister. “Will everyone shut the fuck up?” She said loudly. She groaned as the pain got intense and her eyes flashed red. “No one is going to prom. Both of you, in your rooms now.” She snapped.
[Zach]
“Go. This is a dumb arguement. You shouldn’t have invited his ex Hallie. All this would have been avoided if you understood where he was coming from. You also shouldn’t slap your brother just because you didn’t get what you wanted. There are other things to be concerned about than one person and that goes for the both of you.” He tells them. “Now, do as your mother says and go to your rooms.”
[Henry]
“It’s never been about myself, Hallie. Never. And just this once I wanted one thing after doing so much for you like hiding that you kept inviting boys over after they both told you not to. The fact I had to cover for you when you would sneak out to David’s. Everything for me was ruined because of you. Because you never follow the rules. I face the consequences of your mess ups. You sneaking out means I can’t go out with anyone anymore because they are worried I might get someone pregnant or do drugs or something stupid. I have a shorter curfew because you kept breaking yours. I am not doing that for you anymore.”
“I am done helping you. You always have to ruin everything. You used to be someone I wanted to be like. I even admired you when we were younger but you changed. You aren’t the big sister I remember anymore. She would have listened and she would have cared. You aren’t her. I wish I never had a sister!” He said as his eyes turned blue before flashing black as he stormed off to his room.
[Hallie]
“I don’t know what delusional world you live in Henry, but you haven’t done shit for me. Expect ruin my fucking life. I wish you were never fucking born. If you were as smart as you said you were you would know Josh knew you are going to be there and still wanted to come,” She said as her eyes flashed black. “You think that’s why I slapped him? Of course you do. Whatever, defending myself to the person who let someone beat my mother isn’t something I’m interested in. I hate this fucking family.” She said before heading upstairs.
[Hope]
“Hallie.” She says in a low warning before watching them both leave. She saw them leave the room and she grabbed a bottle and slammed it against the wall. “Fuck.”
[Zach]
“Hallie room. Now.” Zach’s voice boomed loudly in the house as his eyes turned red. He waited until they left before taking a breath. “Hope, just breathe. They just need to calm down.”
[Hope]
Hope cussed softly as she saw she cut her hand and laughed at Zach’s words. “Breathe? Okay. Do you…are you serious? Our kids hate each other for the dumbest reason in the world. I…I…I am so fucking angry right now. I can’t even see my brother TJ because of what he did and those two think that they have real problems? I…what the fuck do you want?”
[Grace]
Grace saw the kids running upstairs and moved as she heard something breaking. “I…I just…I don’t mind Henry or Hallie staying with us until they calm down. I know you are pregnant so…I just want to help.”
[Zach]
“You really should not be in this room right now Grace because the only person that is keeping me from killing you is Hope and I don’t think now is the time to be intruding.” He growled. “They are children. They don’t have any idea and they don’t know how to control their anger and feelings. I will handle the kids okay, just try to relax. Try. I will take care of everything else okay?”
[Hope]
“You know I know my brother thinks I am a really shit mom but I do not need you to take my fucking kids. I can handle my kids okay, thanks.” She snapped as her eyes turned bright red. She looked at Zach and was trying her best to calm down. “She slapped him, Zach. He said he hated her. She said he wished he was never born. You can’t take shit like that back. You can’t. So nothing will erase that pain.”
[Grace]
“I never said you were a bad mom, Hope. You…I think you’ve done a fantastic job. I am not trying to take them away. I just want to help. No one wants to see them or you upset.”
[Zach]
“Grace if you don’t fucking leave…I swear to god.” He hissed. “I know. They will have to learn to live with that Hope it is part of growing up. Siblings say things they don’t mean all the time. They are just saying it because they are mad. We will give them some time to cool down and it will be okay.” He tells her softly as he cupped her cheeks and kissed her to try to get her to calm down.
[Hope]
“Oh please, you do not think that. I know you love seeing this. Once again my life falling apart and you being there to enjoy it. Except your not forcing my husband to fuck you this time.” She said before feeling Zach’s hand cupping her cheeks. “I don’t know Zach. This is so different. And did you see their eyes…I don’t-” She looked at him before feeling his lips against hers. She wrapped her arms around him as she deepened the kiss.
[Grace]
She flinched as she heard their words. “You think I think these horrible things of you, but I don’t. And I have said I am sorry multiple times. I will always be sorry. I am just trying to fix this relationship. I am just trying to fix the family. That’s it.”
[Zach]
Zach kissed Hope back before hearing Grace’s voice. “If you don’t leave in the next two fucking seconds I will cut you up into a thousand pieces while you are still alive and then hand them to your husband on a fucking platter. Get out of this room. You were one of the ones who broke it. You can’t undo what you did. You can’t fix it Grace. Nothing you say or do will fix what you did. Now get out.” He roared at her before his eyes flashed black. The sound of glass breaking echoed in the house.
[Hope]
Hope could hear glass breaking and moved away slightly as the glass on the counter broke. “Zach.” She said as she made him look at her. “It’s okay.” She gave him a small smile before kissing him. “You told me it will be okay, so you have to believe it too.” She told him, making sure he kept looking at her and placed his hand on her stomach. “It will be okay.” Hope said as she saw Grace leaving the room.
[Zach]
Zach heard Hope’s words and he looked at her. He took a deep breath and when she placed his hand on his stomach he calmed down. “It will all be okay.” He repeats.
[Hope]
Hope nodded as she smiled at him. “It will.” She heard the door closing and sighed as she knew their guests were gone now. She could hear Eli crying, meaning he was up from his nap. “You can go check on him, I’ll clean up.” She said before kissing him softly. “I love you.”
[Zach]
“I am sure he wants his mom. I can clean up darling.” He tells her before kissing her back. “I love you too.”
[Hope]
“Hm okay.” She said before moving away from him and heading upstairs to check on Eli.

While procuring a Limousine administration you need to enlist one that has a huge choice of various extravagance vehicles. Contingent upon the occasion you are going to you may need various sorts of autos. For example, you may lean toward an extravagance SUV for a single man's gathering, at that point a Rolls-Royce for the big day. In the event that you are setting up a sweet sixteen gathering for your little girl, you may like to lease a stretch Limo. Their vehicles should highlight the entirety of the most present-day accommodations, for example, satellite radio, DVD players, and HD sound systems to give some examples of things the autos ought to have. Something else you have to do is guarantee that you and your visitors have control of the entirety of the theater setups. Try not to rely upon the flavor of the driver. With numerous Limo rentals, just the driver can control the CD player, DVD player, and other diversion gadgets. You would prefer not to tune in to someone else's music for a whole outing, ensure you can tune in to the music you need to hear.
Pre-Plan your Rental
One of the key things you ought to do when leasing a limousine for an exceptional event is booked your Limo as a long way in front of the calendar as could be expected under the circumstances. This will permit to get the best arrangement and guarantee that you get the vehicle you need for your occasion. Preparing will likewise give you more choices when conversing with the rental organization. There will likewise be different plans you can make, leasing your Limousine finally could restrict your decisions.
Contract a Quality Service
Perhaps the most significant thought while enlisting a Limousine administration is to procure an organization with a decent notoriety. You need to consider that their driver will truly have your life and the lives of your gathering individuals in their grasp. Before you employ any organization or sign any agreements ask the Limo organization to give you verification of their licenses, protection, and other desk work. On the off chance that any rental organization decreases to give you this evidence, you should exit the entryway and locate another rental organization to work with.
