Hey there, I'm Jaren (he/him pronouns). I'm not used to this sort of thing, but I heard that you do divination…? I imagine it's not like the card tricks that the Obscura here do, but I'm interested in seeing what happens. I'd love a reading with those charms that I saw in one of your posts, they look interesting! 💚🤍

Well met, internet traveler Jasper Jaren! (I'm gonna be extra silly in this reading by the way. For the context of others, the only context I have on this OC was gained through joking about the unfortunate charms lol.)

For your reading, I'll be using Astrophel, my charm set and giving a general reading on your situation.

The white diamond is the querent (you!), the red heart is your companion (not necessarily romantic), the pink triangle is your family, the pink circle s your friends.

Meanings of each charm:

Butterfly: cause and effect • consequences

Feather: shedding to bring better things

Flower, Pink: growing chaotically

Heart, locked: unlocking oneself • reservation • not opening up (enough)

Key, silver: shadow work • knowing oneself

Moon, with a star in it: dreams • chasing dreams

Music Note: expressing oneself • deep emotions

Star, lightning: outreaching • expanding your goodness

Swan: beauty, esp unappreciated beauty • harmful beauty

Yellow Abstract: good things that are hard to understand • being blindsided

Things I'm seeing:

⛤ The Querent sits underneath the rest of the charms, with only the key on equal footing. This can indicate being drowned and overwhelmed by everything above you, but you having one thing at your side: You know yourself.

⛤ Broken heart next to family and beside butterfly... Jaren I may have some bad news! There's definitely a lot of tension between you and a family member, which may be due to some serious consequences for someone's actions... or maybe some consequences that need to come.

⛤ There's also the locked heart and the silver key next door to each other, underneath the companion. However, this is not the correct key for this lock - That's the heart key which doesn't show up in this reading. However, one could possibly brute force the lock with this key... but that has its own consequences.

⛤ Swan sits right next to Friends, underneath the Moon. You might be harming yourself and your friendships by chasing the beauty of unattainable dreams.

⛤ Music note, the charm of expressing oneself, is hounded on two sides by friends and family, with the chaotic growth of the pink flower below it.

⛤ Yellow Abstract sits far away from everyone else, including the Querent (you). This means that the things not understood are even more misunderstood. It's in a northwestern position comparatively to you, which to me sings more of blinding you like the sun more than the guiding light of the North Star.

⛤ Everything else sits in a relative clump. Alongside representing a possible massive, overwhelming situation, the things within this clump represent an outreach (star, lightning), with the key, heart locket, and flower leading to a situation where you need to open up in order to get places, but you're moving at a pace that won't serve you in the end.

⛤ Feather points towards swan (and some of the clump in general), which can represent that you're shedding old things to move towards an unappreciated beauty. You may be one of the few who finds this beauty in the world, and find it truly beautiful.
