Have you heard about Bill 21 in Canada? It's getting very little Media coverage but as a sikh-canadian I'm scared for my relatives who wear head coverings. And I'm afraid if I wear my grandma's necklace (she passed away recently) I'll be seen differently because it has a Khanda on it. I don't live in Quebec but I do live in a majority-white area. Please spread awareness

2. What's your feel-good movie? I'd say Spirited Away, I love that movie.

3. What's your favorite candle scent? I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm not big on candles. I like them, but I hardly know any scents by name. I definitely don't like anything too sweet tho.

4. What flower would you like to be given? I've always liked sunflowers. But lilacs and lavander also have a special place in my heart.

5. Who do you feel most you around? Definitely my mom.

6. Say three nice things about yourself (three physical and three non-physical). Oh god (can you feel the panic here?) I like my hair, it's probably one of the things I like most on myself. I like my eyes too, they have a pretty color. I like all my tattoos, if this doesn't count as physical, I'm also starting to like the shape of my body.

I like how I can easily adapt to different environments. I like my will to do things and not stop until I get them right. And I like how quick I can learn new skills.

7. What color brings you peace? I'd say a very light shade of blue mixed with green, that reminds me of the ocean.

Hi i hope you dont mind but somethings been bothering me for a really long time. so i have my name (rowan, it’s in my user), but idk i feel guilty for using it? It didnt take long for me to choose it, and ive heard of ppl taking months or even years to find a name, but i was lucky and the first time i opened a baby naming site, i saw it , and it felt *right*. i still made a list of a bunch of names, but all in all the process wasnt diffficult like ive seen it was for other ppl. but now i feel guilty, was it too easy? am i not valid?

All trans people are not the same. I chose my name in a day and kept it. I have trans friends who took no time to choose their names. I have trans friends who’ve taken/are taking a long time. Trans people don’t all fit into one category!!! We’re all different and that’s what’s so awesome!! We have such diverse experiences!!!!
