Hey everyone!
A friend of mine from school is putting together an art publication called FanGirl (working title) to showcase the works of queer individuals! I already have a piece that’s been accepted but submissions are still open! Please consider contributing your work to this initiative! Alexa is super great and her focus is on promoting artists (of all kinds) first.
Submission Guidelines
FanGirl accepts submissions on a rolling basis.
We accept original and previously unpublished work. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please send us an email if your work is accepted for publication elsewhere.
Visual art should be submitted in high resolution and 300 dpi.
Fiction and nonfiction submissions run from 500-10,000 words. If submitting poetry, send up to 5 pieces.
There's no limit to the number of entries an artist can submit. We love variety!
Not all work accepted will be featured in the FanGirl journal. Some artwork may only be accepted for our website series. After the release of Issue 1, we'll be updating our website on a monthly basis with new fiction, poetry, and visual art.
All work submitted is eligible to be posted on our social media accounts (@fangirlcollective) as well as our website.
FanGirl is committed to publishing emerging voices as well as established artists and writers. Inclusivity is a key part of our mission.
Submissions can be sent to fangirlcollective [at] gmail [dot] com
Ok! Good luck! https://www.instagram.com/fangirlcollective/
