I don't mean this in a bad way at all but anytime there's any black clover polls about "best captain best vice captain best dressed best character design most lgbtq etc etc" most people don't even really think about who the title applies to the most, like actually

they just vote for their favorite characters 😭 like there could be a "best wizard king" post and somehow yami would be there winning. but I guess there's not really any harm and it is fun voting for your favs though so maybe I'm just being a Fun Police lol sorry.

Your most queer poll is fun though and the black bulls in general are just very lgbtq so everyone's a winner 😄

Hey there, anon. It took me a couple of days to get around your ask because I wanted to post the last round of the queerest bull poll and the bonus poll first, sorry for keeping you wait.

Well, I believe bias is pretty common in polls in general, not just with black clover, but most fandom spaces tend to have the fan favorites dominate polls and tournaments. As soon as you ask for the best or the worst, people will vote based on their bias. That's not always the case of course and sometimes the fan favorite deserves to win or is likely to win, but I believe most people, including myself, don't think too hard before voting. Yami is my favorite captain, Nacht is also my favorite vice captain, I'd vote for them unless the poll in question or the tags made it clear to vote for the most deserving of their title or the best written or the objectively best one. NOW, that might make pause a little to think of my vote.

In short, the more generic and unspecific the poll, the more likely to have generic and predictable results. However at the end of the day most fandom polls are subjective and bias-driven. I have my opinion and you have yours and people have theirs, NOW wouldn't it be cool if we all reblog with our own arguments? That's one thing I wish we do more often in the black clover fandom, like how someone wrote some long post about Kirsch under the vice captain poll which did make me consider voting for him! In general, I love reading people's takes and debating them with mine 😛

Anyway... yeah, I get where you're coming from and I definitely feel like it's unfair to certain characters from time to time, but as you've said yourself there's no harm done. And hey, I'm glad you found the queerest black bulls tournament enjoyable! I'm a little disappointed Grey didn't make it past the first round, but I don't mind the results. Those problem kids are all queer, anyway 😆
