listen,,, i get the whole idea that aventurine’s whole love language would be fuckin. giving credits away but i think you’re all wrong. u see because like. yeah he bribed the trailblazer to be his ‘friend’ or whatever/to help him by giving them credits but. hell, he’s reserved, very very reserved even if it doesn’t seem like it outwardly,, if someone could manage the feat of even getting into a relationship w/ him i think he’d be past the bribery. like yeah, what we’ve seen of him so far, he puts importance on money. i don’t doubt that he’d show some care by purchasing things for a partner, but the thing is he does that to everyone he needs to gain the favor of. in my opinion he has no qualms about giving it away, so really that doesn’t show much in comparison to a character who for example did not have any money at all, so them spending some on a love interest would be like. a huge deal. no he spends money on everyone. me personally i think what he’d do to truly show affection and trust is not spending money but instead spending bits of himself. using his precious time, offering little pieces of his soul and his past and his touch until he had bared everything to be seen and picked apart, all betting on the fact that they’d be handed delicately and gently and with care. a kind of care he’s hardly ever been given before and can barely even expect. yeah i
