#qualia fandroid au

“I…suppose you can say that,” Harmony nodded. “I know that we both have our…disagreements, from time to time, but I just want what’s best for all of us.”

Alright. I’ve returned to Tumblr and…I’m going to be bringing a few of my AUs to life.

And no one is going to stop me!

But for a quick explanation of the AUs, I’m going to be sticking to three separate AUs for this account. And they’ll all be running it together.

AU Number One: The HumanVerse

In this AU, humans have just barely survived, thanks to many people engineering things to keep themselves prepared for humans to come back to life, but non-humans are dominate. Basically, just imagine that robots and humans switched. That’s how it is. Cyborgs…they agreed that they could stay if they really wanted to.

AU Number 2: The ExplorerVerse

An AU where Melody from QUALIA becomes an explorer, almost like Dora, and, with her best robotic friend Fandroid, her talking ADHOC backpack and map named Frogbot and B-P0, and all of Fandroid’s fans on the livestreams, they go on amazing adventures while entertaining their fans, all the while, they try and stop the evil robot witch named 404 from placing Fandroid under an endless sleeping spell and taking over the stream full time.

AU Number 3: Royalty University

All of the students are from many different fandoms and royal histories. To better learn about their tales and become next for their destinies, they head to a University to learn, study, and have fun before their tales are told.

And that’s about it. Sure, it’s mainly what I think, and that my sudden comeback is odd, especially since I was gone for years on end, but hey, everyone has to have a comeback someday.

Plus, I’ve grown as a person, got more involved with creating stories and plots and, why not come back to a site that might allow a new universe, maybe even an ask blog, to shine through. (The ask blog isn’t 100% certain…yet.)

However, I’m glad to come back to a site that I’ve missed so dearly. Oh! And if THOSE types of people come back, I’m not afraid to fight and defend myself.

I’ve got a gem sword and I’m not afraid to use it!

you know what's ironic? that i think that fandroid would actually be happier and have a better life if he was brought to qualia when he was younger

qualia fandroid is an au i came up with a while ago that's essentially a rewrite of fandroid canon. it started as a cute little concept that i originally just shared with my good friend rainb (who some of you might know as the person running @fandroidianfriend), but i ended up eventually working in so many events from the current fandroid canon that i decided to write it out as a fic, which you can read here!

the main idea involves melody finding fandroid much, much earlier on than she did in canon and ends up bringing him to qualia after learning how badly adhoc was treating him, resulting in melody and her sisters (harmony, rhythm, and treble) taking him under their wing.

of course, this isn't the entirety of the concept. the other adhoc bots eventually make an appearance and have their own significance to the overall story as well. i won't get too much into that as of right now, but that doesn't mean i wouldn't be willing to explain!

at the end of the day though, this au was created to not only give fandroid a happy upbringing (BECAUSE HE DESERVES IT OKAY), but also to expand on lore surrounding qualia/drone buddies. as much as i love the adhoc bots, i think melody's sisters deserve some appreciation too. i don't see very many people talking about them...at all, which i sorta understand, since qualia isn't brought up too often, but still! i want qualia bot content okay!!
