Anyone that's ever had the misfortune /lh of listening to my endless ramblings about aus is very well aware that I consider a pirate au to be a STAPLE and a NEED for every single fandom.

I think I saw an uhhh. I saw a mer!Roier fanart somewhere some time ago? I don't remember by who, I'll try to find it and link it in the reblogs and I haven't stopped thinking about it since... Especially if you also throw in pirate Cellbit...

Methinks... The Brazilians should all be apart of the pirate crew :) I am flip flopping between whether they should accidentally fish Roier out of the water or whether to maybe make it so mermaids/sirens/whatever are hunted or something and they went after him for the bounty at first before Feelings™ happened.

I was a big philever enjoyer and I think he should be at least slightly obsessed with him always but then again I'm proud of Forever for deciding he's a Strong Independent Man that needs No Man and turning BBH who is... Some sorta demon I presume again. (he should have a trident I reckon it'd be cool)

But overall I'm just a sucker for QPRs (adamant believer that Jaiden and Roier are qpps) so yes I absolutely am on board with that.

HELLO??? AM I HEARING VEGETTA AS THE KING OF THE SEA??? Because I am On Board oh my GOD yes absolutely.

(I am. Vaguely remembering of a time Back in Ye Olde DSMP Days when Foolish was talking about his time when he was a totem/demigod of death instead of life also mentioning something about the sea and such. But I wasn't super involved with the lore at that point so I'm not certain what exactly it was. There's lines to draw there tho)

And I also thing Vegetta should raise absolute hell on earth (sea?) once he realises his son is missing and nearly sink their ship and have Dramatic Angsty Moments™.

now that you mentioned Foolish connections with the sea, im picturing something more Ponyo-like

Brazilians are a bunch of pirates and during one of their adventures Cellbit finds a red and blue fish with markings on the scales that are very reminiscent of a spider. He finds that amazing and decides to get the fish as a pet, Cellbit is the type that keeps talking to his pets, so he spent hours and hours chatting with the fish in the aquarium for 4 days until one of these days during a storm the fish just disappeared. He was kind of upset and quite intrigued, like??? it died??? what the hell????

but anyway, he spends the next month not understanding what happened and decided to just put it as a weird_sea _event™ (which is something very common in his life)

Until they catch a mermaid, the mermaid for some reason doesn't seem at all scared of being pulled in a net onto a pirate ship. In fact, he seems happy about it

It's even more strange how the mermaid seems to know Cellbit and doesn't stop flirting with him 🤨

Okay I am going to be honest with you. I've only seen Ponyo once and it was a While ago so I don't remember much but I'm picking up what you're putting down yeah ,

I love that Cellbit just sees a Critter and decides mhmmm yeah mine now and when it inexplicably disappears he's just like Uhhh Sure? I've seen weirder things this is probably Fine.

Also that makes me wonder... It'd only make sense that the Federation is like... The navy or something? And maybe Felps has like a hook or something (something happened with his arm right? I vaguely recall reading somewhere that he lost one)

There could be like a really dramatic moment where they're running from them after they've just escaped barely with their lives and it's the classic Cornered Against A Cliff and maybe it was just his imagination but Cellbit swears he saw a flash of red in the water under the cliffside and y'know it's either that or get captured by the Feds again so they take the jump.

Neither of them remember much aside from waking up in a hidden cove at the other side of the island hours later, at dawn the next day, with Roier sitting a bit further away.
