there is a brief moment of silence in which ochako wrecks her brain for a person within her immediate circle that goes by kacchan. kaminari-kun, perhaps? ah, no! the nickname feels too familiar, too endearing to be derived from a last name. that leaves...

a giggle snort escapes ochako’s lips when the realization dawns upon her, and she immediately clasps her hands over her mouth to keep another bark of gleeful laughter from getting out. 

❝do you perhaps mean, bakugou-kun?❞ 

                                                                 a pause.

she looks at the boy before her, assessing his gentle demeanor, and can’t help but wonder out loud. ❝-- are you friends with him?❞
