Already said in June I was going to do one again but I forgot. Now months later I remember. Obviously most songs have changed now. But here are some of current top songs!

Let me start with Diamond Narakorn! Just released it's first solo song but it's such a jam. Everyone should check it out.

Now this song hasn't changed yet. I still love it after months. I wish I could have seen in my country but the venue they went to made it impossible :( Why did they have to end up at a shitty venue.

I already made a seperate post about Wim but I'm including him here again. I just love this song so much.

I only had one song of him on my playlist but then Spotify suggested me this one and I do really like it. Haven't checked out the album this came from yet tho.

So a while back Spotify suggested me a playlist called Synthwave Chill and of course I had to check it out. Well I was not dissapointed. Liked so many songs of it and this is one of them.

Had some fun on the Wikipedia for demonyms for this! Probably just because I'm Aussie but the Australian ones were my favourites. ACTers getting called "inlanders" cos it's the only but of Aus not touching water is hilarious. QLers getting "cane toads"?? I've never heard but I'd absolutely understand you mean a QLer without delay.

Saturnian is the most normal imo, I'm from Melbourne and it's Melbournian. Saturn Sider is a reference to Sydney Siders being the go to term here, but also kinda pulls from ring side as a reference.

Saturnite and Saturneer are more kinda normal imo

Ringer and Ringian are just the same normal stuff, but based off ring not Saturn. I kinda think there might be a thing of using Saturnian if you're from an inner moon, Ringer if you're from a station on the ring, and maybe Turnie if you're from like an outer moon

Saties and Spinners is kinda more slangy. But that helps tell that time has passed and language has morphed with it. Which I like. Same with Turnie and Turnian, which are based both on the idea that you're turning around the planet, but also on the planet being saTURN ya feel

Anyway I've talked myself into Saturnian, Ringer, and Turnie to comminate some different areas but feel free to vote anyway! Could be swayed to Saturnite tho, for the night sound of it

PAWAE: The New Thai Singer and Guitarist Born by Singing Covers on YouTube.

Making music is kind of work which requires consistency and high drive. Not all people are introduced to musical instruments by their parents at the age of 3. Talent is one of privilege to be a successful musician. However, that thing is not enough. Consistent practice and creativity are very necessary to get the goal, especially when you want to be a famous artist and recognized by billion people all around the world. That it because music industry nowadays is very competitive and money oriented. Again, not all people have a chance to join big entertainment agency.

One of the most effective way to get noticed by people is making YouTube videos of covers of other artists. PAWAE, who is previously named her channel ‘currentpraewa’, has begun to share her cover videos in 2020. Singing ‘จีบ’/‘Cīb’ (court) by QLER, this new singer began to appear on YouTube with her acoustic guitar. With raw video quality, she got 169 comments and 7400 likes. One of the most iconic cover of her is ‘จูบ’/‘Cūb’ (kiss) by JETSET’ER. With her guitar full of quirky stickers, she sang it soothingly and strummed the guitar smoothly. Most of the song she sang is in Thai. Luckily, this cute girl got so many attention from Thai people and overseas.

After uploading so many covers of other artists, this singer started to make music by herself. By 2022, she signed with a label called kiddorecords and began to release original official music video. Starting with the song ‘เพื่อนกับแฟน’/‘Girl/Friend?’ (Pheụ̄̀xn kạb fæn), the music video had reached 477.000 viewers. Last year, she released a song entitled her own name, ‘แพ้หว่ะ’/‘Praewa’ and got 25.000 viewers on that platform. Debuting as new artist in young age is very impressing, since not all people are confident enough to be an artist in their youth era. Due to her popularity, she started to be invited as a guest in musical festivals. Performing her ability to sing and playing the guitar in front of plenty of people is an amazing stuff since it is the dream of many people from all around the world.

Bringing fresh and dreamy pop tunes, PAWAE continues her activities as a solo artist as well as a cover singer. She keeps uploading covers on her channel, and the video quality got better time by time. One thing that is always be the same all the time is that she remains singing in Thai, no other language. It is understandable that her market target is Thai people. However, doing English and other language song would be awesome too because overseas listeners will understand what she was singing about and they can sing along with her.

PAWAE is one of the most inspiring young musician who is brave to show her talents and confidence to public from very weak quality covers to marvellous original music videos. The other thing we must learn from her is that she is not type of person who gatekeeps attention to their listeners or fans. She appreciate love and support from fans by giving ‘heart’ to posts fans uploaded about her. What a humble person. I wish there would be more musicians who have high drive to start their music career from scratch to reach the peak of success as a musical act as her. Age is not the matter to start music career, but just do it now. Your journey will be valuable if you have strong drive and consistency in doing music in this competitive period of time. PAWAE proved that. Maybe it takes time, but doing practice regularly will give satisfying result.
