hey has anyone asked you about sparkplug yet? im soooo curious about him
FINALLY someone acknowledges the best character in the comic... just kidding I can't pick. they're all my favorites on different days of the week.
(pictured here in the middle of very important service garage work)
Sparks is... well, actually, much more open of a book than any of his fellow crewmates. whereas everyone else is entangled in their own baggage, sparks was raised to understand the value of honest, open communication and has never filed an emotional baggage claim in his life! yes sirree no problems here not a one!!!!!! just fun facts.
believe it or not, sparks used to be a pretty avid club-goer back in the day! he's still pretty killer when it comes to dancing... though his joints are a little less cooperative than they used to be.
dissatisfied with the impact of standard automatic-grade coffee (basically tar), sparks took it upon himself to "invent" a new "strain" back in his 20's using a variety of energy powder mixes and spices imported from Qa. he's been mildly colorblind ever since.
if asked what he missed most from his earthly possessions in his old shop, he'd probably say his old collection of terra-classic "now that's what I call country" CDs. can you believe what analog earther music is being sold for nowadays? ...or maybe his ID. that's also pretty important I suppose.
sparks keeps 3 different models of screwdriver, a wrench, sewing needles, standard suit-repair grade thread, a paperclip, and a small magnet on him at all times. and some other things you don't need to know about.
Sparks feels miserable being doted on. he's grateful, of course, when gills hunts him down at night and corners him into taking a trip to the kitchen for something to eat, and he can't deny there's a small thrill that runs through him when he wipes the engine oil off the side of his face, or when he offers to help adjust his prosthetic's knee joint when it starts to lock up... but he shouldn't need that. it's embarrassing in a way taking care of others isn't.
...even so, the herbal tea gills offers him manages to get the taste of coffee out of his mouth. briefly.
but yeppp I'd say he's pretty normal. all in all.
thanks for the ask ^_^ !!

8 Strategies for Building an Effective Test Automation Strategy
Organizations are actively looking for ways to improve their QA testing processes and keep a competitive advantage in the modern business landscape. One of the best methods to accomplish this goal is to develop an automation plan. Businesses benefit greatly from test automation since it increases testing efficiency and accuracy while lowering costs and manual labor. It gives businesses the ability to conduct tests more quickly and broadly, facilitating the quick detection and remediation of possible problems.
To provide a flawless experience for customers, an eCommerce business, for instance, could use a software testing company to routinely evaluate the functionality of their checkout process. Businesses can improve software quality and reduce the risks of software failures by developing a thorough test automation strategy, which will increase customer satisfaction and revenue generating.
The Essence of a Test Automation Strategy
A test automation plan is fundamentally a painstakingly designed blueprint that is carefully woven into an organization's operational framework to provide protection against the perils of testing failures. This bold strategy reveals:
The sacred grounds will be touched by automation, bringing life to areas that had not previously existed.
a toolbox containing a variety of testing approaches that work in harmony with the software development life cycle as a whole.
Behold the revolutionary potential of a well-planned automation strategy, where the enlightened organization will reap an alchemy of benefits, including increased efficiency and coverage, unwavering precision, rising ROI, and substantial cost savings.
What Does a Test Automation Strategy Aim to Achieve?
Are you doing manual testing and running into problems with quality control, human error, and a rise in production flaws? Perhaps you've tried test automation before but gave up owing to its complexity.
System downtime, lowered customer satisfaction, and a damaged company reputation can all result from a poor test automation plan.
On the other hand, a well-thought-out strategy can assist in preventing technical failures and preserving the competitiveness of your business.
*incorrect choice of technology * Without a solid plan, you can find yourself using the wrong tools and technology. Making poor decisions could lead to a variety of issues over time.
*Risk evaluation * A test automation plan makes it possible to foresee potential risks. It describes current dangers, makes recommendations for mitigating them, offers potential fixes, and considers alternate strategies. Without a plan, it is difficult to foresee potential problems and act quickly to resolve them.
Outsourcing QA Services for Software Applications
In addition to increasing resource efficiency, outsourcing quality assurance (QA) services to an offshore team is essential for enhancing the overall functionality of software applications. Businesses may guarantee strong security measures, adherence to compliance requirements, and effective testing processes by utilizing the experience of QA professionals with their specific training and industry knowledge. Additionally, outsourcing QA testing offers cost savings, access to subject matter experts, and frees up domestic engineers to concentrate on key development areas.
Early and Frequent Testing with Agile
Agile test environments are designed to be flexible. A balance between functionality and stability is guaranteed by the ongoing cycle of invention and testing during numerous revisions. User satisfaction is prioritized at every phase thanks to the ability to incorporate comments from various teams. Aside from that, starting QA procedures early in the development stage is more effective and economical than waiting until the very end to make changes.
You may quickly extend your operations to offer high-quality products at a faster rate by fusing the most resource-optimized outsourcing strategy with the best software development company. Numerous benefits come with an agile offshore QA cooperation, including easy access to business experts, which ultimately raises the return on investment (ROI) for your projects. Fostering strong and reliable communication is also essential. This calls for emphasizing internal channels of communication that keep the end goals in mind as well as actively collaborating with outside QA collaborators. When working together and communicating inside the Agile testing framework, different teams can eventually combine to become an even more potent force in software development.
Combining Manual and Automated Testing While Maintaining Balance
One advantage of working with an outside QA expert is learning how to strike the ideal balance between the speed of automation testing and the human observations from manual testing. Since no one testing strategy will guarantee your product's market performance, the only way to achieve complete test coverage is to combine automation with manual testing.
Although manual testing requires more work, there is no better way to simulate the end-user experience than with the judgment and expertise of a human engineer. It is essential to include a human component in your testing phase if your end customers are people.
Your quality assurance (QA) partners are skilled at developing plans for combining manual and automated test cases that result in the best long-term return on investment (ROI).
Sorting Test Cases by Priority for Automation
Since automating every testing scenario is an impractical objective, it is equally crucial to group test cases according to how easily they can be automated. Once you have a large collection of automatable test cases, it's critical to evaluate which ones are regularly executed and which ones should receive top priority.
In the context of quality assurance, our first step entails cherry-picking test cases for automation while taking into account a variety of factors, such as frequently performed tests or those requiring a lot of time during manual execution. We choose the tests and then automate them in the order of importance.
By using this strategy, you ensure a complete analysis of crucial application aspects, which are of utmost significance from a commercial perspective.
Calculating Automation's Return on Investment (ROI)
It is possible to estimate the entire ROI of automation even before adopting any automation framework by thoroughly detailing the planned automation strategy. This evaluation can also reveal the resources needed for automation initiatives and the amount of time saved by manual testing compared to automated testing. The QA team's Fmix of automation and manual engineers can be changed depending on the ROI and long-term goals.
Unveiling the Perfect Test Automation Tool
Although human testing is still a crucial component of software development, automation testing has indisputable advantages in terms of time savings. This exceptional advantage has led to a boom in the number of different automation tools available on the market. As a result, there are many possibilities to consider in order to choose an automated solution that perfectly matches the distinctive qualities of your product, your development environment, and the skills and preferences of your team.
On-site teams can choose the optimal automation technology that precisely suits their project and platform requirements with the assistance of QA professionals. It is strongly advised to adopt the newest cutting-edge tools on the market. Before beginning the automation journey, our devoted QA team carefully assesses the efficiency of the top three automation solutions on the client's product. By making use of these insights, we can choose the instrument that will work best and produce the best outcomes.
Building the Perfect Framework
Choosing the appropriate automation tools is only one component of testing automation. The establishment of a reliable and effective test framework is another crucial component. The decisions taken during this procedure could significantly affect how effective and efficient your development cycle is overall.
The general consensus in the industry today is in favor of using frameworks that are modular, portable, and reusable that can easily span your product's whole existence. Your automation process' framework is its foundation, so it must be carefully considered.
Our article on Automation Framework Design is an excellent tool to help you guarantee that your QA efforts are built on a solid foundation. It offers perceptions into what is feasible and ideal while setting up your framework. Remember that your automated tests run the danger of failing no matter how well-written your code may be if your framework is subpar.
Monitoring and Maintenance Strategies
When choosing frameworks and tools, it is crucial to give monitoring and maintenance considerations top priority in order to achieve testing automation perfection. These elements provide insightful information on the status and results of automation testing initiatives, giving you and your team ongoing feedback. Because not all automation solutions offer easily understandable reporting features, it is crucial to take the intended recipients of reports into account before choosing a specific tool.
The ease of maintenance varies across various tools as well. It is best to choose a system that allows for simple alterations and encourages reusability. Comprehensive failure logs are essential for quickly locating and fixing script failures with the least amount of downtime. A viable test automation approach can be created by firmly taking control of maintenance and monitoring.
Conclusion:
Modern software development services must include test automation in order to improve testing efficiency, accuracy, and coverage while cutting costs and manual labor. Businesses can create a solid automation strategy that fits their particular needs and goals by adhering to the best practices described in this article. Organizations can achieve software excellence and maintain a competitive edge in the market by outsourcing QA services, striking a balance between automated and manual testing, prioritizing test cases, estimating ROI, selecting the right tools, building a solid framework, and implementing efficient monitoring and maintenance strategies. Businesses may streamline their automation initiatives and guarantee the best software quality. Accept test automation, and your QA testing processes will reach their full potential.

7 Offshore Outsourcing Trends 2020 | Disrupted Traditions
Offshore Then and Now.
A thought leader in the 90s said “If you deprive yourself of offshore opportunities and your competitors do not, you’re putting yourself out of business.” And 20 years later that became the reality.
When offshore outsourcing services first emerged in the late ’90s, for many people the concept seemed almost absurd because some even thought of it as an act of modern colonization, republicans were against outsourcing jobs overseas, and ethics were being questioned. However, in today’s global scenario, the time when offshore outsourcing was only seen as a move by organizations to drive down operating costs is long gone. It is now seen as an investment to improve the quality of operations and accelerate speed to the market with scalable and flexible services utilizing a bigger pool of talent.
Latest Outsourcing Industry Statistics
As we all know, outsourcing activities happen especially in the field of IT, and according to Statista, the IT outsourcing industry was worth $92.5 Billion in 2019. And also according to a report “Global Software Testing services market 2020–2024” by Technavio, the Software testing market is worth more than $45 Billion globally. Now that the geographical borders in business transactions are blurred thanks to the changes brought by the pandemic, it is expected to double in the next year. Currently, there are 37% of companies have leaned toward to software testing outsourcing services provider starting with a single process, mainly to boost efficiency and to receive expertise.
While the industry seems thriving, the offshoring businesses now stand at the helm of innovation, as their clients demand delivering solutions that offer returns on investment rather than pure cost reduction such as localization and compliance management, scalability, higher agility, and effective risk management.
7 market trends to watch out for and want to make sure your company is ready
– Strategic offshore partnership – Expertise and flexibility over price – Shift in offshore location – Mobile First – Agile and Continuous Delivery – Automation – Experienced economy and consumer expectation
Embrace the changes and possibilities.
India accounts for a big portion of those outsourcing activities, however, the world has seen a shift to countries like Vietnam and Eastern Europe. It is because of the fact these countries have evolved to provide tailored services to companies in Japan, Singapore, and the EU respectively.
In such a mobile-first and experienced economy, consumers have high expectations. Therefore businesses have understood the value of flexible project management and rushing to adopt continuous delivery models in software development, so naturally, companies look for experienced offshoring firms that follow well-established Agile practices.
Going ahead of this trend, SHIFT Inc. in Japan at which Jenkin’s inventor Kosuke Kawaguchi has been appointed a seat as an advisor has invented its unique certification program (CAT) to turn non-IT talents into QA testers that work closely with engineers on agile development projects. Especially in Japan, the IT sector is experiencing a talent shortage and businesses had to outsource some of their operations to offshore partners, but now that the industry has become so mature, businesses choose to do so.
SHIFT ASIA, a subsidiary of SHIFT Inc, a quality assurance startup based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam has luckily been able to establish a pool of inexpensive and skilled testers and engineers to provide scalable and custom product testing resources. On top of that, expertise in security, agile development, and localization has helped many enterprises in the APAC region to launch services in multiple locations without risking data integrity and loss of usability.
We feel that taking advantage of offshore development has become the mainstream and the quality of output is improving so much, that it is a viable option for any businesses around the world looking to maximize cost efficiency and agility. Hope this article helped you in any way.

While grouping is considered 1 language, as is often done in academia, IT has closely a billion supplemental native speakers than any ≠ new language.
a Southwest language speaker & a Northeastern dialect speaker are possibly to acquire difficulty communicating except between default dialect, mostly due to differences in intonation. Yet, this eminence in the dialect is less prominent than in comparison with the same powerful bigger eminence found through varieties of Chinese ≠; this is attributed to the novel popularity of Mandarin additional throughout China, combined with easier communication & depart compare with the mountains of southern China.
only for mostly of China's history, the currency was located adjacent to the Mandarin plan so IT had enormous influences. Adjective the 14th century, at least some make of Mandarin has transformed into the national language. The alternative term Běifānghuà, i.e. Northern dialect, is less and less old in Chinese linguists. In an extension of this, the term "Old Mandarin" is worn while referring to Northern dialects recorded in texts from the Yuan dynasty.
native speakers who are not linguists may not be aware that the positive languages they talk are classified in linguistics as members of these Mandarin language in a broader sense. The North China grassland means few barriers to migration, resulting in comparative linguistic homogeneity across a all-encompassing situation in Northern China. In disagreement, the rivers & mountains of southern China maintain produced six language groups of ≠ of China.
even if therefore, these varieties surround a gigantic space of about one billion people. As a result, there are regional variations in vocabulary, pronunciation & grammar, & many varieties of Mandarin that are not mutually intelligible.

Mandarin Chinese grammar, which does not include gender or number changes, is substantially less complicated than English or Spanish grammar. By approximation, the verb does not undergo grammatical or grammatical transformations.
Mandarin Chinese writing is based more the "kaisho" ("kǎishū") ilk of calligraphy.
“Kaisho” became orthodox calligraphy, after going among many varieties of calligraphy example “xingshu” (“xiǎozhuànshū”) or “Lishu” (“lìshque”).

Mike Laidlaw, the previous Creative Director on Dragon Age: Inquisition and Dragon Age 4′s original iteration known as “Joplin” has high hopes for next iteration of Dragon Age 4:
“The move to Frostbite was really challenging, so we literally had to re-invent just about every system from the ground up (so you're not far wrong). For instance, Inquistiion was the first game to do traditional "non-checkpoint" save games on Frostbite.
Personally, I have high hopes for a DA4 because the team will know the engine they're working on and won't be shipping on split-generations, both of which are HUGE sources of development overhead (and drains on QA and Quality of Life improvement time)”

Hey can you do an everlark fake dating please🥺🥺
Anon, I’m sure you were looking for something a little more romantic than what I came up with. There is romance, but there’s some other stuff too.
Thank you for inspiring this four-parter. I hope you enjoy!
_____
Summary: Peeta needed a date for his brother’s wedding. His co-worker Katniss was more than willing to play along. Sometimes, simple favors can turn into so much more. A fake dating story done in four parts. Rated E. Definitely NSFW.
A Simple Favor
The Invite
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”
Peeta gawked at the frilly invitation in his grasp, then at the attached list of activities.
Three days.
Three fucking days of wedding activities to torture him.
“Can we tone down the cursing?” Katniss, his co-worker, sat down at her desk adjacent to his. “This is a place of business.”
“You wouldn’t be saying that if you had to go to this.”
Peeta swiveled his chair, tossing the invitation onto Katniss’ desk. It landed smoothly atop her keyboard and she reached to read the perfect calligraphy print announcing the upcoming nuptials of Rye Mellark to Delly Cartwright.
She turned back to Peeta. “Yeah…so?”
“Look who’s the Maid of Honor.”
Katniss looked to the right part of the invitation which listed the wedding party.
Her grey eyes suddenly shot up at him. “Oh, holy fuck! Is that her?”
“Yeah. It’s hard to look at her name and not still see her sucking off my best friend.”
Katniss snorted. “Yeah—that’s not an image even I would likely forget.” She examined the invitation again. “Gawd, even her name is pretty. Madge Undersee.”
“Don’t remind me,” Peeta growled, yanking the invitation from her grasp. “Who plans three days of pre-wedding activities?”
“Your brother and his affianced, apparently.” Katniss gave him a sympathetic smile. “You think she’ll bring him?”
“According to my brother, they’re officially together now.”
Peeta never used to be this bitter.
However, two years ago, that irrevocably changed when he discovered his then-fiancée on her knees and giving his best friend a blowie—on his bed. Madge had wept, of course, telling him that it had just happened.
And Gale…he had begged for Peeta to understand that it wasn’t just sex…that he felt something more for Madge.
How the hell was he supposed to understand that?
Peeta had packed his things and immediately left the apartment that he and his best friend had been living in—let the fucker deal with the astronomical Bay Area rent on his own.
He then accepted a job at Panem Projects, a Brooklyn based start-up created by tech mogul Haymitch Abernathy. The uber-genius had invented an app that allowed you to search for specific non-profits and charities that one may be interested in contributing to.
On Peeta’s first day, he met Katniss Everdeen, who was part of the QA department he was in. She was a supervisor while he was just one of the lowly engineers.
They had been sitting across from one another ever since.
“That sucks.” Katniss sat back, crossing her legs, as she watched him carefully. “Did you want to get wasted after work?”
++++++
It was at their fifth round of shots that the idea came about.
“I can’t go to this.” Peeta held the invitation, now beer-stained and being used as a coaster for their peanut bowl. “It’s basically a three-day Peeta Mellark roast!”
“Yeah, and a wedding,” Katniss replied. She leaned forward, her cheeks warmed from booze. “You know what you need? A date to this God-awful event. Not just any date, a hot date.”
“Here’s the problem, sweetheart,” he replied. “I’m not dating anyone.”
“It doesn’t have to be a real date,” she reasoned. “Find a great-looking chick who’d be willing to spend three days looking like she worships your cock. Isn’t this what those dating apps are for?”
“I don’t want a stranger around my family!” He reached for the beer bottle in front of him—was this even his? “That’s how those Netflix crime specials come about.”
Katniss chuckled. “Okay. Understandable.” She met his glazed stare. “I’ll do it.”
“What?”
“I said I’ll go with you,” Katniss declared. “I’ll be your hot date.”
Peeta took a long swig. “Uh…no offense Katniss…you’re definitely pretty…but hot?”
“I have been known to dress up once in a while.”
He looked at his friend; her dark hair was in its usual braid and she wore a pair of fitted jeans along with a zip-up with the Panem Projects logo on it—some sort of fiery bird. On her feet were a pair of Converses that had seen better days.
“You’re really know how to make a girl feel desired,” Katniss told him. “I can’t think of any possible reason why Madge would dump you.”
“Hey now! That’s hitting below the belt!”
“Well, you don’t think I can be hot!” she retorted. “Give me your phone!”
Peeta, in fear of his life, pulled out his phone from the pocket of his jeans and handed it to the woman.
Katniss picked up the invitation with her free hand and started to type with the other.
“Katniss…Motherfucking…Everdeen…” She handed the phone back to him. “I’ve RSVP’d for you and added myself as your plus one.”
He looked at the browser window and then back at a smirking Katniss.
“You actually wrote ‘Katniss Motherfucking Everdeen’ as my date’s name.” Peeta had to smile. “My mother is going to love that.”
“She’s going to love me,” Katniss assured him. “She and everyone else at this wedding is going to forget who the hell Madge Undersee is after I’m done with them.”
Peeta had to ask. “Why are you doing this?”
“I know how it feels to be taken by surprise.” She was suddenly staring very hard at the dirty bar table they sat at. “Plus, you’re my friend and we take care of each of other.” Her eyes met his, her own looking like she was on the verge of breaking. “Right?”
Peeta reached over and squeezed her hand. “Right.”
++++++
“Okay, so I have prepared a portfolio of myself.” Katniss presented him with a closed folder. “Childhood photos…likes and dislikes…just some general information that a boyfriend should know.”
“34C?” Peeta eyed her doubtfully, briefly flitting to her white button down. “Are you sure?”
“Yes. You bought me a lovely dark green lingerie set for our last anniversary.” Katniss pulled out a piece of paper. “Here is a little questionnaire that I’ve made for you, just for me to know you a little better.”
Peeta skimmed over the questions. Most of them were pretty general; where he was born, his parents’ and his brother’s name as well as their ages, his favorite foods…then—
“Why do you need to know if I’m circumcised?”
“If we have supposedly been together for about six months, shouldn’t we be having sex by now?” she questioned.
“True.” Peeta looked around the room. “Is it okay that we’re using a meeting room for this?”
Katniss shrugged. “The guys in IT use this room to play Pokémon every Friday.”
“Also, when are you going to do something about…” He waved his hand out at today’s outfit: a pair of black slacks, a white button down, and brown loafers. “…that.”
“Don’t you worry your perfect little blond self.” Katniss playfully ruffled his hair. “I didn’t realize that you were so fixated on looks.”
“You were the one who suggested ‘hot’,” he pointed out. “However, my parents, who are generally good people, can sometimes be judgmental. So besides being very smart and extremely accomplished—we’re going to have to show them how great you are on the outside.”
“Peeta, do my looks matter to you?” she suddenly asked. “I mean, do you think that I’m pretty?”
Katniss wasn’t what people would call conventionally beautiful.
Her hair was a single shade of black which could be a bit-frizzy on humid days, and her complexion was sun-kissed with a sprinkle of freckles on her cheeks. However, Peeta saw deep grey eyes that sparkled when she was particularly excited about something (pushing a new feature on their app, for example) and full rose-colored lips that needed no lipstick.
And when she smiled, everything about her just lit up.
“I think you’re beautiful,” he said truthfully. “I do worry that the people at this wedding won’t see you the way I see you.”
“Then that’s their fucking problem, isn’t it?” Katniss smiled gently. “We just have to make this look real. I think we can do this.” She pushed a pen towards him. “Now, fill your questionnaire out, okay?”
“Alright.” He reached for the pen and his eyes went to her. “Katniss?”
“Yes?”
“Thank you.”
++++++
Two Weeks Later…
“Sister—Primrose…24…a nurse in Seattle…Mom…Kate…former teacher…Dad…Marcus…former General in the Army….”
As he waited for Katniss’ Uber to arrive, Peeta went through the flashcards that he and Katniss had created in order to get through the three days leading up to his brother’s wedding.
They had everything from their first date (a Harry Potter trivia night at a bar close to their office) to any distinguishable body marks (him—a scar on his knee from falling off his bike at 12 and her—surprisingly, a scar just above her left butt cheek from a tattoo removal procedure, though she wouldn’t tell him what the tattoo was).
“Peeta?”
He had been so distracted that he didn’t even hear the car pull up.
“Sorry.” He tucked the cards in his back pocket and lifted his eyes to greet her. “Hey…holy shit.”
This was not Katniss Everdeen.
Katniss Everdeen didn’t wear her dark hair down in smooth waves that framed a perfect heart-shaped face. She didn’t wear sleeveless black jumpsuits that revealed rich olive skin and plush breasts (she was definitely a 34C).
“You like?”
She did a little twirl for him, graceful despite the stilettos she wore.
And, Katniss definitely didn’t have an ass that made his mouth water.
The unbidden thought of biting into one of those full globes caused his cock to twitch in his now too tight jeans.
“I like.” Peeta gave her a smile. “Maybe a little too much.”
She looked triumphant. “Give you a boner?”
“Fuck yeah,” he replied, a tad breathless.
“Then I’ve done my job.” Katniss wrapped her arms around his neck. “Hello boyfriend.”
Her mouth covered his own and his arms encircled her waist, pulling her tightly against his body. She teased, nipping at his bottom lip, her tongue skimming his lips before pulling away. Something surged inside him and his tongue invaded her mouth, sweeping in to taste sweetness.
Katniss growled against him, her center pressing into his now definitely hard cock.
Reluctantly—because they had to either breathe or die during the world’s hottest kiss—they pulled apart.
“Why did you do that?” he asked, gasping for breath.
“Because we’re supposed to be in love.” Her chest heaved, her eyes just cooling down from their kiss. “And couples in love kiss like that.”
“I know no couples who kiss like that,” he told her, a smile unexpectedly forming on his lips. “But feel free to kiss me like that whenever you see fit.”
++++++
During their five-hour flight, they went over the wedding itinerary.
“I’ve had a stylist pull looks for us for all the fancier events,” Katniss explained. “Don’t worry, nothing looks like we’re trying too hard. We’ll be more complimentary to one another.”
“What would trying too hard look like?” Peeta asked curiously.
“Well, if your tie matched my dress for example.”
A flight attendant stopped in front of their seats. “What can I get you both?”
Katniss smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder. “He will have…” Her fingers brushed against his ear lobe and he couldn’t help but shiver in pleasure. “…a cup of chamomile tea. I will have a coffee—”
“With milk and two sugars,” he breathed out, trying to smile up at the attendant.
“Thanks baby,” Katniss cooed at him, her hand brushing through his hair affectionately.
The woman quickly fixed their drinks, handing their cups to them one by one.
“Can I just say that you too are extremely adorable?” the flight attendant remarked.
Katniss put a hand to her chest.
“Thank you!” She looked to Peeta; her expression full of affection. “He’s just so easy to love.”
Peeta smiled tightly. “This is my dream girl…” He patted Katniss’ hand. “…right here.”
The flight attendant practically squealed before going to the next seats.
“You really could be a little bit more convincing,” Katniss remarked. “Maybe act like my touch doesn’t repulse you.”
“You don’t!” He shifted towards her. “In fact, it’s really the opposite.”
Katniss rested back against her seat. “Really?” She crossed her arms. “Convince me.”
Peeta unbuckled his seatbelt. Pressing the release button of the armrest, he pushed it up so there was no divider between them.
Katniss waited, obviously interested in what he was up to. He realized that their tray tables covered anything below the waist and his mouth widened in a grin.
“Tell me.” His hand went to her thigh. “What exactly are you wearing under this?” The fabric beneath his palm was smooth and he could feel a full firm thigh. He continued upwards towards the cleft between her thighs. “Are you even wearing underwear?”
Katniss’ arms fell to her side and she swallowed thickly. “I am.”
“And, if my hand found its way between your thighs—” His hand stopped just about an inch from her center and she let out a labored breath. “—if my fingers brushed against this practically non-existent cloth, would I find you wet?”
“Maybe,” she whispered.
Peeta leaned forward, his mouth going to her ear.
“Would you let me put my fingers to your clit? Let me rub you until you came all over this seat?” His pressed his mouth to the spot behind her ear and she shivered. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you? You’d happily fill this cabin with the smell of sex if I fingered you into completion—”
“Stop—” Katniss gasped out, her hand covering the hand on her thigh. “I’m convinced.”
“Good.”
Peeta moved his hand away—but not before quickly brushing the tips of his fingers at her center. The feeling of heat had him hard immediately.
“You’re far from repulsive, Katniss.” He met her heated stare. “I’ve always thought that.”
Katniss snorted. “Yeah, right.”
Peeta took her hand, placing it to where his erection demanded to be freed.
“Believe me,” he demanded, and her fingers moved against the rough fabric of his jeans. “This is because of you. Yeah, it’s extremely hot to see you in this get-up, but what makes me hard is that look in your eyes.”
Katniss licked her lips. “What look?”
“That fire,” he told her, his thumb caressing the top of her hand. “That fire in those grey eyes will always get me, if you’re in this black jumpsuit—” Her fingers enclosed along his cock, gripping him firmly. “—or if you’re wearing that ugly zip-up sweater that HR gave you for your work anniversary.”
“Excuse me?” They both jumped at the voice and looked to see the flight attendant. “We’ve just been notified that we’ll be landing a little sooner than we announced. So, if you could finish your drinks in the next few minutes—”
“Of course,” Katniss said quickly, her free hand reaching for her cup. “We’ll be done soon.”
The woman gave them a smile and moved on to the next row.
Katniss sat back, the hand on him quickly disappearing.
“You’re going to be more problematic than I thought,” she said, her eyes dark.
“Trust me.” Peeta let out a breath. “The feeling is mutual.”

“I never asked, but you and Rye are pretty close, right?”
Peeta nodded, pushing the cart with their luggage down the corridor as they left baggage claim.
“We’re probably just as close as you and Prim are,” he told her. “And Delly is great. Horrendous taste in friends, but she’s really a sweet person.”
“Do you suspect that Rye will see through all of this?” Katniss questioned.
Peeta shook his head. “We’ve done our research.” He stopped, reaching for her hand. “I also always thought that you and I had great chemistry…in the workplace. I think it transfers easily into whatever we’re trying to pull off.”
Katniss smiled. “I feel the exact same way.”
“Peeta!”
They turned to see a couple, running toward them excitedly.
Rye rushed over, pulling him into a tight hug and practically lifting him off the ground. His brother was a broad fellow; muscular from years of playing football throughout high school and college. However, Rye was as gentle as they came when it came to his younger brother and the lovely woman that he would soon be marrying.
“I’ve missed you, little brother!” Rye said affectionately. “Welcome home!”
They drew apart, just as Delly pulled away from hugging Katniss.
He reached over to quickly kiss Delly on the cheek. “Hello soon-to-be big sister.”
“Hello, my sweet little brother,” Delly greeted in return.
“Rye, Delly—” Katniss beamed at him and his heart leapt at the affectionate gesture. Taking her hand, he presented her proudly to the couple. “—this lovely woman is my girlfriend, Katniss Everdeen.”
Delly grinned at his expression. “I can already tell that she’s going to be a perfect addition to our family.”
Rye took Katniss’ hand, leaning and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
“I welcome anyone who makes my baby brother smile this brightly,” he told her. “Welcome to San Francisco. Have you ever been here?”
Katniss shook her head. “This is my first time. Congratulations, by the way.”
“Thanks!” Delly glowed in excitement. “I can’t wait for all the festivities—” She whipped around to her fiancé. “—and for us to be married, of course!” They all chuckled at her exuberance.
Rye led them out into where the town cars were stationed; a man in a black suit immediately took the cart and headed to the trunk of the black Sedan in front of them.
“A driver?” Peeta asked.
“Mom and Dad insisted,” Rye responded with a grimace. “You know them.”
They all slid into the wide back seats, Rye closing the door behind him.
Delly immediately pounced. “So, how did you two meet?”
“We’ve been working together for the last two years at Panem Projects,” Katniss told her easily. “I’ve always liked Peeta and we became friends right away.”
“However, a little over six months ago, I finally got the balls to ask her out on an actual date,” Peeta finished for her. His hand found hers, their fingers entwining easily, and he met Katniss’ eyes. “And, wonderful woman that she was, she accepted. We’ve been together ever since.”
“I love it,” Delly said sincerely. “And you look so beautiful together. The children are going to be gorgeous.”
Rye smiled affectionately at his fiancée. “Don’t scare Katniss off, love.”
“I don’t know,” Katniss said, eyeing Peeta playfully. Her free hand reached to push his hair away from his face. “I’ve always loved blue-eyed children.”
“And, the children would look particularly lovely if they had Katniss’ hair,” he added, his hand reaching to the tuck a tendril of her hair behind her ear.
How did he never notice what was in front of him?
“Oh man,” Rye said, looking between them. He smirked at his brother. “You are so fucked.”
++++++
“It’s so wonderful to have you here, Katniss,” his mother said. “We’ve never had Peeta bring a girl home. You know, except for Mad—" She waved her hand, rolling her eyes. “Anyway, you are most welcome.”
“Thank you, Mrs. Mellark,” Katniss replied graciously.
“Call me Janice, my dear.”
Behind her, Peeta followed along with his father carrying their bags up the stairs.
“She seems like a lovely girl,” his father told him.
“I care for her a great deal,” Peeta said as he watched his mother and Katniss chat easily. “I don’t know how I even got her.”
“Trust me, son.” He gave Peeta an affectionate smile. “I think she feels the same way. I can tell just by the way she keeps looking over for you—like she can’t believe that you’re together.”
They stopped at the door to his childhood room.
“Well, we put some extra towels in your bedroom,” his mother told them. “And, Mags—” Peeta had introduced Katniss to the head of the household when they first entered his childhood home. “—made sure that fresh sheets have been put on the bed and she’s aired out the room as well.”
“Okay, but where will Katniss be staying?” he asked.
“We’re not so old to not know that you aren’t sleeping together,” his mother said. “So, we just set up your room for the both of you.”
“That’s perfect,” Katniss told his parents. She looked to him boldly. “Show me your room. I’m dying to see those little league trophies of yours.”
“We know that you must be exhausted,” his father told them. “So, we’ll just have dinner sent up and we can rendezvous for brunch tomorrow in the main dining room.”
“Thank you, Marshall,” Katniss said as Peeta opened the door for them. “Thank you as well, Janice.”
“Of course, dear.” His mother gave them a jaunty wink. “We’ll see you tomorrow.”
Entering the room, Peeta placed their bags at the end of his bed.
“What kind of life did you leave when you came to work at Panem Projects?” Katniss stared up at the high ceiling of the room, her eyes traveling to the four-post bed, and then to the floor-to-ceiling windows. She went to one immediately. “Oh my God! You can see everything from up here!”
“A house on Twin Peaks affords that kind of view. However, it’s not so great on foggy days,” he told her, watching as she examined every bit of his room from the bathroom (“A clawfoot tub!”) to the walk-in closet (This is practically the size of my studio!).
Taking off her shoes, Katniss leapt onto his bed. “Holy shit! This is heavenly!”
Peeta went to her, toeing off his own shoes before joining her.
They laid side by side, hands immediately reaching for one another.
He turned to her. “Did I ever say thank you for being here?”
“It’s all worth it to stay in this sweet room,” Katniss replied, her grey eyes dancing.
“So, you’re just here for the room?”
She smirked. “Well, I did also find out that you have a huge cock—so that’s a bonus.”
“Katniss!” Her laughter filled the room and his stomach tumbled in pleasure hearing it. He suddenly flipped, his chest over hers and the giggles fell from her lips. Peeta stared down at her, her grey eyes suddenly darkening as he examined her. “You’re something special.”
“I’m nothing.” Her chest rose and Katniss let out a shaky breath. “I just want to be here for you.”
“I want to kiss you,” he suddenly said, his hand reaching to trace her jawline. “Would you allow it?”
“Are you doing it because you want to thank me?” she asked tightly. “Or because you want to explore what is obviously between us?”
“Both, I think.” Peeta had never felt this exhilarated or this flustered by someone. Just a touch from Katniss and he was in a whirlwind, happy to be caught in it. “I just think you deserve someone less broken than I am.”
“We’re both broken.” Her hand reached for the nape of his neck, drawing him down until their lips were brushing. “I don’t know if we can fix that, but we can help each other mend.” She smiled against him. “Let’s see where this weekend takes us, and we can go from there. For now, I’m allowing you to kiss me. So, make it a good one.”
Peeta dipped his mouth into hers, sampling just a bit, and it was like he could breathe again. Immediately, his lips sought hers, his tongue sweeping into her mouth and swirling against her own. Katniss moaned and his heart rose in triumph as she pressed herself to him eagerly.
His hand reached to cradle her head, his fingers entwining in soft waves and he plunged into her mouth once more, exploring her in their kiss.
Katniss ripped her mouth off his, a string of saliva still connecting them.
“Fuck!” Her eyes were frenzied. “What the hell are you doing to me?”
He grinned. “I’m just exploring.”
Despite his attempt to remain cool, his own heart raced; the feel of her mouth…and her tongue undoing him.
This wasn’t the plan, but it felt right.
“This whole game we’re playing,” she said, her eyes full of hunger. “I’m going to crash and burn, aren’t I?”
“If you burn—” Peeta kissed her tenderly. “—then I burn with you.”

Congress's Big Tech trustbusting smackdown
After more than a year of investigations, House Dems have produced a 450-page report on market concentration in the tech industry, with a slate of findings that are obvious and long overdue, and a slate of recommendations that are simultaneously traditional and radical. Start with the findings: the market is concentrated and the companies preserve their monopolistic standing with anitcompetitive tactics:
Apple's App Store stranglehold raises prices and transfers money from creators to the company
Google preferences its own services in search results
Facebook buys companies for predatory reasons, to snuff out potential future competition threats
Amazon rips off its sellers and engages in predatory pricing
https://www.wired.com/story/congress-unveils-plan-curb-big-tech-power/ All obvious, but it's nice to have it in the record. Then there's the traditional AND radical remedies: blocking mergers, prohibiting the creation of vertical monopolies by entering "adjacent lines of business." And then there's "structural separation" - the rule that banned rail companies from owning freight companies that competed with their customers and banks from owning businesses that competed with the businesses that borrowed money from them. There's a shifting of the default in mergers: the DoJ should presume ALL mergers and acquisitions by large firms are anticompetitive and require the companies to prove otherwise. A kind of neutrality in platforms, requiring them not to preference their own products over others. I predict this one will be the source of endless misery because it supposes that there is a "right" way to organize search results. Weirdly, this was Google's position for a long time. If you were an early web writer and you cornered a Google exec at a party to complain about your pagerank, they'd just shrug and say, "Make the page better then." The implication being that they were measuring objective quality of your page, like they'd invented a machine for taking pictures of the forms casting shadows on the wall of Plato's cave. It was an algorithm and algorithms are math and math is objective. This excited the world's governments, who started to say, "Oh, hey, if this is MATH, then it's not censorship to order you to change the math. "If we order you to keep certain things above the fold, or to downrank or banish others, that's like specifying the equations for structural steel, not like ordering the editor of the New York Times to put certain articles on the front page." Hoist on their own petard, Google started working with eminent First Amendment scholars to advance the (correct) position that the math was in service to expression: the programmers and QA teams that wrote and tuned the algorithms were making editorial judgments. These were indirect - in the way that, say, a newspaper proprietor might say, "We need more coverage of inflation" or "Let's call Qanon a 'cult' and not a 'conspiracy theory'" - but they were acts of human expression. I mean, they HAD to be. Google doesn't have a webcam in Plato's cave. There is no objective, universal quality metric. And they're not choosing sites at random, either. So it has to be judgment, and judgment is expression. All to say: "Good luck with search neutrality, Congress." But there's more! The report calls for increased budgets for antitrust enforcement and killing forced arbitration and its bans on class action suits. And finally, the report calls for overturning 40 years' worth of antitrust case-law, the decisions that depended on the doctrine of the Nixonite criminal Robert Bork, who became a court sorcerer to Ronald Reagan. Bork's doctrine was that antitrust law needed objective standards and objective standards were impossible to come by in markets - you could never hope to objectively define when a company had too much marketshare or was abusing its power. This may sound like my argument about "search neutrality" - but there's a big difference. Bork had a counsel of despair: "Because we can't identify shenanigans, we shouldn't try to prevent them." But the pre-Borkian enforcement strategy wasn't grounded only in objective correlates of shenanigans: it was also designed to make it harder for shenanigans to occur. Pre-Bork, we fought monopolies because they were bad - they had the power to distort markets and policies. Pre-Bork, we fought monopolies because they were monopolies. Post-Bork, we only fought monopolies if we caught them in the act, and even then, we could only win if we could prove shenanigans - and monopolists got really good at making it hard to prove them. For example, they perfected the idea of the "market definition" defense. You hear this with Amazon, when Bezos tells Congress that Amazon isn't a monopoly because people buy stuff at Walmart. By including "Walmart" (or every time in which goods change hands for money) in the definition of Amazon's market, Amazon can make itself out to be a bit-player. Here's an example of a Borkean giving this line just last year: "Facebook doesn't have a monopoly because I can still make phone calls." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_Jp-GJ9LM0 Returning to a pre-Borkean vision of antitrust enforcement is profound and would have far-reaching implications for telecoms, entertainment, pharma, accounting, logistics, energy, transport, aviation, etc. But while all these industries got concentrated through the same methods - predatory acquisitions, mergers to monopoly, vertical monopolies - they aren't all the same. What kind of industry they are MATTERS. Tech has two unique characteristics: First, it is foundational. Our ability to demand better policy and to collaborate to hold policymakers to account depends on tech. We're not going to organize a global movement by wheatpasting posters on telephone poles. And second, tech means computers, and computers are "universal" in a way other industries' products are not. Computers can interoperate with each other in ways that, say, cars or can-openers or beers cannot. That interoperability has been the source of enormous dynamism and a check against concentration in the history of tech: what companies thought of as walled gardens that exploited "network effects" became feeding pens for new market entrants. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2019/10/adversarial-interoperability Whether that's Static Controls - a tiny Taiwanese company that refilled IBM Lexmark's toner cartridges and got to piggyback on the vast market IBM had developed, growing so large that they ACQUIRED Lexmark or... https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2019/06/felony-contempt-business-model-lexmarks-anti-competitive-legacy Apple, which defeated Microsoft's office dominance by creating Iwork, reverse-engineering the Office file-formats so that Mac users didn't need to convince their colleagues to switch OSes, they could just share documents with them. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2019/06/adversarial-interoperability-reviving-elegant-weapon-more-civilized-age-slay The same tech companies that rose to dominance through this Competitive Compatibility are now its worst enemies, lobbying against Right to Repair, building products around DRM, and claiming their terms of service have the force of law under CFAA. Restoring the right of new market entrants to make stuff that plugs into the existing dominant products and services would go a LONG way to restoring dynamism to tech, to making companies' survival reliant on pleasing users, rather then dominating markets. And while the Congressional report doesn't give interop the centrality it deserves, it DOES mention it and discuss its importance. https://fm.cnbc.com/applications/cnbc.com/resources/editorialfiles/2020/10/06/investigation_of_competition_in_digital_markets_majority_staff_report_and_recommendations.pdf

Inaugural Post
I’m going to ramble a bit about some basics of game design on a far too philosophical level, but I think it is something to consider if you are considering game design. I end up feeling like this is something developers end up ignoring when they develop their games. For this particular rant, I’m going to focus mostly on video games, since by and large, they don’t have to involve other people, which makes the overall experience much different. So as I refer to gaming below, think mostly of video games, but I also think it still applies to all kinds of game design.
First of all, games are, by my definition at least, a form of art. This is at the core of a lot of my musings about gaming, and it supplies the main challenge in making something good. Sure, they have an extremely technical requirement in terms of making it, but it is still basically a form of art. I’m sure a lot of people who don’t get gaming would say “Oh its not art!”, but really the goal with a game is to achieve some sort of emotional response (IE Fun, joy, fear, etc) or possibly intellectual response (IE “Let me stop and think about this), and that is all I think any artist who is trying to achieve. In this particular case, I am defining an artist as anyone who creates some sort of creative work, and can include art, literature, music, movies, architecture, etc. Medium is not important in this context.
Now, I am also going to focus on the idea that a game designer wants to try to a) Share their game with anyone interested and b) make money. Now, there are many reasons to make art, and some of them don’t involve public exposure, for example, painting or drawing as a form of therapy. If that is the case, this discussion isn’t targeted at you. In completing your project, you have hopefully achieved what you wanted. So if you are designing and building a game for some personal reason with no real intention of exposing it to the public, then this does not apply to you. However, I presume most people who publish a video game are trying to achieve something else like making money, accolades of people, or just sharing something they think is fun. The first two may seem self-serving, but I don’t think it is wrong. You should get credit for the work you put into something.
Because it is a form of art, that makes creating something “Good” much, much more difficult. In engineering, you can pretty often easily define “good”. Your basic goal with a non-artistic product (say a refrigerator) is to make something that does what is expected (It keeps the inside cold at a fixed temperature), and mainly to do it for a profit. So, you can define your general goals pretty easily, and then test against them to know “Hey I did a good job” or “It does a bad job”. Things like “Does the temperature stay constant while it is running?” “Does it stay on?” and “Do the doors fall off if I open them too much?” are all things you can define and test against. This is a bit of an over-simplification, as the appearance of your fridge is quite important and subjective and also because it isn’t always easy to define what parameters are acceptable, or how to define the parameters, or how to test for them, but hopefully that doesn’t happen to you as an engineer, or if it does, that is why you are paid the big bucks.
Now, this long-winded explanation leads to why gaming is hard to design. At the core of almost any game is the idea that it should be “fun”. But it is extremely hard to define “Fun”. What is fun? As a baby, sucking on your toes could be considered fun, but most of you probably do not consider it fun now. Some people think hiking or running is fun, but I do not. So fun is different to different people, and different to the same person at different times. This means you have an impossible to define goal post when trying to design a game, at least from an engineering standpoint. I bring this up, because this is probably why you see major AAA game publishers publish substandard products, and sometimes why you see Kickstarter funded games take 3 extra years to develop (more on Kickstarter in future rants). For a software company, the company’s goal is to make money, and so to make a profit, they will need to sell enough copies of the game to cover the cost to develop it. Part of that cost basically boils down to time, since it costs money to pay employees, and the more time you take to develop a game, the more it costs the company, and the more copies they need to sell.
This is just an educated guess (I’m lazy, so I’m not going to do any research on this, but I’m sure it exists), but I expect many of the “Terrible flops” were actually the company defining some sort of timeline for the game’s development that ended up not working out. They either skimped on Quality Assurance (QA, also known as testing) and the game didn’t work right, or they skimped on development, and so the gameplay just wasn’t good. Sometimes, it is just a flawed design, and you figure that out too late, and you’ve already sunk a ton of money and time into the project and need to decide what to do about it. Do you go forward with a crappy design or do you go ahead and release a substandard product in hopes that you can make some of your money back? Most larger companies will choose the latter, because they need to stay in business. A handful do not, and they are interesting cases: Blizzard before they merged with Activision and Valve. Both were notorious for not releasing games quickly, and I think you can see the polish in the Diablo and Warcraft (But not World of Warcraft) series, as well as the Half-Life series. I made the possible mistake of playing Half-Life Alyx before any other VR game, and its beautifully defined controls have spoiled me as compared to other similar VR titles. However, I’m pretty sure they worked on that for ages before releasing it as perfect as they could. However, they have loads and loads of cash and can wait. Looking at Cyberpunk 2077, to me that looked like they ran out of testing time, and thus why it was such a buggy launch, despite the delays, and they were forced to launch. Finally, I expect the entire lack of tangible Diablo 4 news is because they think they are missing some major component to make it what they want it to be.
My overall point on all of this is that it can take time to develop something fun, especially something that can be as complex as a game. And on top of that, a game has technical challenges that other forms of art do not. Not only do you have to create a fun system, but you have to make it work, and do it in a visually and acoustically engaging way. So not only do you have to make the Art, sounds, story, gameplay, but you also have to make sure it all works right. There are some ‘shortcuts’ you can take, like using established game engines (Like the Unreal Engine or Unity) so you don’t have to invent from the ground up, but that both adds cost and a possibly restrictive framework to work in.
Now, you are probably asking why am I rambling about all of this? This goes back to what I was originally rambling about, which is why are you making a game. You are probably aiming for your game to be well received, and either make some money off it, or at the very least, get good reviews and encouragement. So my point is if you wish to be successful, please make sure your game is, at the core, fun. If, after you make it, you look back on it and think “I would never play this.” Or “I’d be bored with this after two minutes”, you probably didn’t do a good job. Most of this blog will probably revolve around this idea of what is (and isn’t) fun, so I hope you’ll keep reading it. If you take anything away from it, I think you should aim to make a game that is fun to the audience you want it to be fun for, but just remember that the more restrictive your audience, the less successful game you probably will have, and really to make sure your game is, in fact, fun.

Which type of software testing is in demand?
Yes, of course, you can learn Selenium without knowing Java. Selenium IDE is a GUI based tool but it works only in Mozilla Firefox. However, if you want to create test cases using Selenium WebDriver, you should know one programming language out of - Java, C#, Python, Perl, Ruby, PHP.
A subreddit for those with concerns about operating in the tech market or in a computer-science-related job. I feel that in Workflow as well as QA you can easily 'burn-out' because of the lengthy hrs and repetitive job. For me development tends to be one of the most 'fun' and also therefore lowers the stress degrees. I don't recognize how difficult QA job is as I've never done it.
Easy Ways To Be An Efficient Software Tester.
Is DevOps easy to learn?
Java language and programming for Selenium Java is a vast language. However, You don't need to learn full features of Java as that's not required for selenium automation testing. You only need to learn a selected portion of Java language. That's a good news.
Experience shows that the optimum length of a test instance is between 3-8 steps. Then you will do every person on your team a huge favor, if you write clean and also thorough insect records. It's great technique to keep every one of your important communication in one place. You will require to take another look at information traded in between you and participants of your group. You will certainly do your future self a support by making it available.
How long does it take to learn software testing?
Many employers look for software tester candidates with a bachelor's degree in computer science, math or engineering, although it's not always required. If you've got a lot of experience, a stable work history and solid references or letters of recommendation, it's possible to land a job without a college degree.
and also new ones are still being produced, one should note that roughly 90% of the concepts one learns in a specific language are likewise suitable to totally different languages. When opleiding java testers knows with the core essentials, establishing comparable skills with another language just boils down to understanding the syntactical nuances. creating or coding automation script, I am expanding a lot more burnt out. # 13) Find out more books, short articles, attend testing meetup and also seminars.
Constantly think of what you can do today to relocate closer to that goal and also act appropriately. Testers are extremely passionate at the start of their professions. But when the discovering curve is filled they start feeling bored. They promptly obtain tired of writing the exact same Pest reports and performing the same test situations repeatedly.
An Aim To The Future Of Software Program Testing.
When you develop an arranged framework to store all of your important information you have the ability to collect the appropriate information and form your testing approach for that task. If you do not have a method to keep this details, after that you will certainly miss vital details.
So, quick responses, supported by smart test automation systems, is going to be essential.
A lot more software is being developed, with a lower obstacle to entry, and faster time to market.
At the very same time, testing will certainly continue to become native to the island across other components of the software program lifecycle process, with fast-evolving devices bringing tests within the reach of a lot more staff member.
While they are frequently still the unsung heroes, the work that QA professionals do is significantly acknowledged for its contributions to DevOps.
You will certainly get advice on real-world software program testing, QA, monitoring, test automation, and also advancement proficiency in a wide variety of software growth firms varying from little to large scale.
You and also the developer need to be honored and also satisfied that what has simply been launched is pest totally free (" ish"), not just you. Eventually, as others have claimed, it's a different sort of anxiety. As QA, I was continuously worried that I missed bugs I should have caught. As a programmer, my anxiety comes from feeling like I should understand how to do something already as well as I don't. That stated, it is completely possible that my anxiety degrees in a dev function are not as high because I. still do not make a great deal of huge decisions.
How can I be good tester?
Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Advances in software and AI world have paved the way for Robotic Process Automation (RPA). It is the most recent technology which has the capability to re-invent the business process management landscape. To know more about RPA's role in the software testing industry.
It is important in this regard to look for some advice and real-world assistance from gamers who have some experience in the field, as well as whose insights can aid you when making that critical pre-development decision. to script code, over time, differences will certainly emerge in between the languages. Consequently, activities that operate well in a specific language could be counter and repetitive user-friendly in a various one.

Interface Designer.
Growth can be rather difficult during crunch time when you're required to make style concessions as well as provided no time to clean up your work. But it can be a lot of enjoyable, also, which is in fact more frequently the situation for me. It's a GREAT DEAL easier to handle the job anxiety when you recognize the work and also your coworkers. Much easier to reduce, yes, equally as simple to outsource as development is however. QA is only demanding in that you have much less job safety and security than a dev.
I will collaborate with various other devs on my group if I'm unsure concerning a specific means of doing something, or the pros and cons of 2 things that, to me, appear similarly good/bad. I angle speak for QA given that my experience is in dev however from my interactions with them, it definitely does not appear like a cinch. As soon as you begin surrounding deadlines, everybody in the process feels the warm. I've done both, and also I've been burnt out by numerous aspects of each of them.
When your goals as a tester straighten with the goals of the app, you will certainly have the ability to provide significant outcomes. A tester's mindset can indicate the distinction in between discovering the most important insect in the app and finding absolutely nothing. You simply need to choose which response makes the a lot of sense once you comprehend what the inquiry is. You are provided an application, and also you should decide what must be evaluated, what the result should be, and apply a testing technique. You raise the possibility of somebody on your team falling short to carry out a job when you include more actions to an examination situation.
Discuss what they are doing, what they have actually developed, what situations they have taken into consideration, is there anything you can contribute to help them recognize the product much better. # 7) Collaborate with the QA groups from various other projects also.

Consistency provided by the WebDriver API across languages, simplifies the procedure of porting examination expertise of one language to one more. Examination engineers come to be better assets to their organizations as they can be transferred to any kind of internet project, created in any programs language, and also still have the ability to produce tests for it instantaneously.

What does it mean to have a videogame tell you you're a good person? It doesn't know me, can't see me. I don't know if you can be *immoral* in a single player game outside of some very inventive custom controls. Why should I care what a game says? Any inner moral life that a videogame or a painting might possess would be more alien to me than that of a bug or a starfish. Of course videogames and paintings are made by humans, and shaped by the moral opinion of humans.. but we might make a distinction between what the human says and the object says, we might still feel the latter is more important, somehow.
The moral authority of an artwork or object comes from the fact that it's not quite human, that it comes to us from outside humanity to an extent, is distinguished from the unreliable back and forth of human consciousness in motion. But this distance is exactly why you might expect those moral verdicts to be unintelligible to us, or at the very best, to be untrustworthy, an imitation. So what's the appeal – that of having a human voice which speaks with the gravitas of an immortal object? The pleasant conceit that the general shape of our minds is universal, like all those Star Trek aliens that are just regular guys with slightly weirder ears or foreheads? The void speaks, and turns out to sound like a computer engineer.
But maybe not necessarily, maybe in fact it's sometimes not universal authority and moral support that we seek from the object: maybe a certain jankiness of verdict around the way these things communicate in human terms is itself part of the appeal. I think of paper fortune tellers, magic eight-balls, "love tester" machines that return a romantic prognosis based on palm temperature. The entrancing bathos of the chance-driven or mechanistic judgement that still speaks with a human voice: I’m sorry, I cannot answer right now. Please shake me, so I may try again. How different is that to the widely beloved and magnificently broken romance system in Dragon's Dogma, where, spoilers: your "soulmate" is not a matter of direct moral choice, but of variables being tracked over the course of the game including who you talked to and what sidequests you completed - which means it could arbitrarily turn out to be the weapons merchant, or a grandpa npc you found a potion for. Which is goofy, but only in a slightly more blatant way than "accidentally unlocking the romantic option in a dialogue tree from just clicking around" or "having your morality score drop 5 points because you pressed the wrong button and accidentally hurled a rock at someone's head while trying to equip shoes".
I think something I appreciate about videogames is the kind of insectlike moral life that they tend to portray, the sense of value systems which are in some way recognisable but which have mutated in conversion to something alien and horrifying. Lara Croft shooting a wild eagle is unfortunate, Lara Croft shooting a thousand wild eagles is bizarre – but really those thousand eagles are just the one eagle, the one self-contained pulp encounter fantasy, which has been extended, extrapolated, systemised as result of being placed in this machine. The latter may be more egregious but it’s still composed of repeated incidents of the original encounter - and part of the strangeness in these games is just the uncomprehending machine effort to systemise the half-formed gunk substance of our terrible fantasy lives, which only bear a vague and halfhearted relation to any notion of ethics in any case.. We can contemplate with envy and excitement the possibilities of running more realistic, recognisable emotional and moral situations through the meatgrinderof the format in this way. How about a solemn middlebrow videogame about divorcing 50 different wives, each one larger and more powerful than the last (excluding sprite recolours)?
All this is not to say that the casual political and moral stupidity already in videogames should simply be excused or exist outside of critique. But in addition to the body of discourse around "moral commodities" - commodities invested with moral or political meaning independent of any brutal labour practices they might entail or monopolistic accumulation of private wealth they might support – I think it's also worth considering the purpose of the "moral object" itself. The alienation intrinsic to the object form can be a way to think, and also a way to avoid thinking. To project moral beliefs away from the specific context of a creaturely human existence can be a way of expanding that existence, but also of denying it. The paltriness of the human can itself be problematic next to the splendour of the object, and the reflected moral superiority of those with the means of producing such objects.

There's a famous line in the Spiderman comics that with great power comes great responsibility. But it's also kind of a weird line because, while obviously applicable to Spiderman, the person it's actually delivered to is Peter Parker - who is, for all his uncle knows, still a physically awkward and friendless nerd with no immediately visible "great power" to speak of. He does like nuclear physics, though - maybe the advice was intended as a friendly intervention to keep him from turning into the next Edward Teller? Or possibly it's just a kind of unconscious, pulp-writer-trance-appropriation of the muscular liberal rhetoric of the then-current Kennedy administration. Or maybe, and stretching a bit, it's a line that relates more to the conditions of pulp culture manufacturing itself, to the awareness that the stuff you make will be printed thousands of times and sold to kids around the country, poured raw into the national subconsicous. With great sales figures comes great responsiblity.
I mention it because I think it connects to an issue with the kind of cultural criticism that emerged, like it or not, from the specific context of an age of mass media. With great power comes great responsibility - but conversely, to execute your great responsibility you also need great power. And what are you meant to do if you don't have it? Does no power mean having no responsibility? It's possible, but i feel like most people would be dubious about this as a moral lesson - and the inescapability of heavily-financed blockbusters in the culture means that an assumption of already "having great power" sometimes becomes a critical starting point. If you don't have power you should get it, so that you can then have great responsibility and contribute to the discourse. The effect can sometimes be like climbing a mountain of corpses to get a better platform for your speech about world peace.
A good essay on jrpgsaredead.fyi points out the way that certain industry conversations on "accessibility" revolve specifically around access to whatever mainstream AAA action games are currently dominating the news cycle. And the related effect where both problems and proposed solutions are particular to these games, the audience they have, and the resources they can bring bear: More consultants! More characters! More romance options! Better character creators! If you're speaking to an (essentially captive, given the marketing monies involved) audience of five million people you'd better be sure your ideas are, at least, not actively harmful, and in fact should ideally be improving - - fine. How about an audience of 50 people? Or an audience of 0? Does that mean this work is less moral than what speaks to a larger crowd - in effect, that it's worse? And what about the relationship to audience that this kind of teaching implies? i can think of several occasions where people from different subcultures or minority groups were reprimanded because something in their own experience might read differently, or problematically, when presented to a presumably white/cis/affluent etc audience - which is of course the audience that matters, because what's the value of presenting work from an alternative perspective to an audience already familiar with that perspective, to whom it has no automatic moral significance (might, in fact, merely be 'aesthetic')? Compare the complexity of a specific local audience which can think for itself to the easy win of the alternative: a phantasm audience of moral blanks to whom rote lessons in hypothetical empathy can be tastefully and profitably imparted over and over, forever.
****
If the ethical act is that which we'd be willing to posit as universal law, perhaps we could say: the ethical artwork is that which we'd be willing to mass produce. Small or hobbyist developers are encouraged to work from the perspective of a mass-productive capacity they do not in fact possess; their successes and inevitable failures are hoovered up alike by the industry proper for later deployment in the form of cute dating sim or inspirational narrative with similar but sanitized tone or aesthetic. In essence a kind of moral QA testing, with all the job security and recompense that this implies.
The hobbyist is, by definition, not universal: they are enclosed within the local and the material. What time do you get off work? What materials do you have to hand? Are those materials always legal? The entire western RPG Maker community exists as result of widespread bootlegging; the entirety of videogame history and preservation essentially depends on stolen copies; we find out about it through ROMs, videos and screenshots which mostly depend for their continued existence on copyright holders either not finding out or choosing not to pursue these debateable violations. It's a complicated discussion whether this stuff can be justified on a general, universal level - but also I'm not sure we can do without it. When Fortnite uses dances from TV and music videos of living memory they're considered to be in the public domain; but Fortnite itself is not in the public domain, even though it's so inescapable that even I have a pretty good idea of what it looks and plays like despite having made a pretty determined effort to not find out anything about it. It's "public culture" in that sense, and it includes public culture within it, but both game and imagery are privately owned and aggressively policed (suing teenage hackers, etc). What does it mean for art to emerge from an ever more privatized sense of public life?
In 2007 the RPG Maker game Super Columbine Massacre RPG was added to, then removed from, the Slamdance festival following complaints; it was a minor cause celebre at the time following concerns about censorship and the lack of protections for expression in the videogame format specifically following the Jack Thompson media crusade in the United States. In 2019 the same festival retrospectively changed their reasoning: now the game had no longer been removed on the basis of questionable taste, but on the basis of questionable compliance with copyright law, since it included music from the likes of Smashing Pumpkins without paying for licensing fees (and also because the author generally "hadn’t created several of its elements" - asset flips!!!). There's some humour in the fact that a benign-sounding concern with "artist's rights" could just be swapped in as a more respectable-sounding surrogate for general prudery with exactly the same result. But also, in this instance, what does it mean about the game? As facile as SCMR is, the bootleg use of graphics and music was its most interesting element: the game was a bricolage of American pop culture at a specific point in time, as were the killers, as are we. The nearness and recognisability of that culture, the sense of not being able to get enough distance from it to properly fictionalise or think about what happened, is what stands out. An "ethical" version of the same game which used original music - Nirvanalikes, some tastefully copyright-adjacent Marilyn Manson clones - would not just be diminished, it would be actively insulting in the false distance it implied.
I don't mean this at all as a request for more edgelord-ism. But it's worth remembering that videogames themselves are not ethical; are, in fact, colonized materials assembled with exploitative labour and dumped aimlessly into public life by electronics corporations looking to make a buck. The bizarre and haphazard ways this long dump of poor decisions has manifested, warped, been adjusted into culture is part of what's worth attending to about the format – I think it's worth looking closer into all these pools of murkiness, before ethical landlords can come drape a tarp over them as part of the process of divvying up the property.

I got a lot of interesting responses to my earlier post asking why game development works as well as it does (including one via email rather than tumblr). Thanks.
There were some clear recurring themes in the responses:
1. Engines and other game development middleware / tools are very sophisticated, and selling these things (rather than games themselves) is lucrative so they have the polish of full-blown products (as opposed to projects someone hacked together to make their life easier while doing something else)
2. Games are all similar enough to one another, even on a 10+ year timescale, that nontrivial problems can be definitely solved and the solutions stick around (as tools or best practices) rather than becoming obsolete; good game programmers often have deep expertise acquired over that same 10+ year timescale, which simply isn’t possible to have with the latest web framework or whatever
3. Game studios do a relatively large amount of manual QA, and do it relatively early and often
4. Advantages related to the relative “frivolity” (not sure if that’s the right word) of games: they take place in invented worlds that can be modified for maximal convenience to the programmer, and the “cost function” associated with bugs is a lot fuzzier and more forgiving -- how much a bug matters is quantified by how much it detracts from the entire experience, which will frequently be “not that much,” and there aren’t many components that simply must work exactly as specified or you’re in legal hot water or w/e
5. Simple abundance of resources: lots of programmers per game, game programmers (compared to other programmers) accept lower wages and are more committed to the job as an all-consuming lifestyle
Some comments below.
1+2 feel like a coherent package, and 3+4 feel like a different coherent package. (I’m not especially interested in 5, although I’m sure it’s true, because it doesn’t provide any transferable insights for non-game software work, which is what I’m looking for here)
1+2 are about game development having mature tools at a high level of abstraction, sort of like the difference between higher- and lower-level programming languages. If I’m understanding correctly: game developers can work with relatively high-level primitives right out of the box, and so there’s less of an abstraction gap between design and development -- the designers think in terms of a sort of palette of high-level abstractions like “there’s a character, they have these stats, they have the ability to walk around and equip swords” and the developer can, to a relatively large extent, just plop things like Characters™ with Walk Actions™ and Equip Actions™ into place, with all the customizability the designer expects from such things.
This sounds true and explains a lot if so, but I still feel confused as to why it’s true. Are games really this much more standardized than, like, I dunno, shopping websites?
3+4 feel like they’re about treating the thing you’re creating as a messy emergent system, letting yourself be relatively free to throw in new pieces that affect or depend on existing pieces without explicitly thinking through the combinatorial explosion of possible states and interactions, and instead determining whether the whole thing works by just having people constantly try to use it as you’re developing it. I can see why this would be unusually compatible with the game domain, since there are fewer parts that simply cannot be allowed to fail, and you have more freedom to fix bugs by changing the design (“things broke when character X equipped item Y, so we’ll make up some reason they can’t do that”).
Still, I do find myself wondering if other things couldn’t be a little more like this. In my (limited! extremely limited!) experience it seems like the median experienced programmer has heavily internalized the idea that freedom will always bite you in the end, that you should bind yourself with every constraint you can think of that doesn’t literally render the current task impossible. There is a lot of wisdom in this attitude, but it can sometimes amount to a restrictive obsession with defending against every mistake and worst-case-scenario you can currently think of -- when in reality, a lot of the dangers you anticipate will simply never happen (or won’t end up mattering), and a little freedom might end up being a blessing when the dangers you haven’t anticipated inevitably arrive.

Top 7 Software Testing Myths
Nowadays, the client experience conveyed by a product application decides its fame and gainfulness. The client experience conveyed by an application relies upon its availability, usefulness, execution, ease of use, and security crosswise over different gadgets and stages. Henceforth, it winds up basic for ventures to concentrate on the quality and client experience of their applications all through the product advancement lifecycle.
Numerous undertakings these days execute formal programming testing system to dispatch an amazing programming application. Likewise, numerous organizations these days test the product consistently and under genuine client conditions. In any case, a few business people still don't understand the significance of testing in the product advancement lifecycle, and the advantages of testing the product early and consistently. They are as yet incredulous about the advantages of programming testing and accept a few programming testing legends.
Decoding 7 Common Myths about Software Testing
1) Testing Increases a Software Application's Time to Market
While building up another product application, endeavors investigate approaches to beat fulfillment by diminishing its opportunity to advertise. The QA experts need to contribute both time and exertion to assess the product's quality under fluctuating conditions and as indicated by predefined prerequisites. That is the reason; numerous organizations accept that the Software and QA testing Services procedure builds the item's an ideal opportunity to advertise. Be that as it may, every undertaking has a few alternatives to get its product tried intricately without expanding its opportunity to showcase. A business can without much of a stretch diminish testing time via mechanizing different testing exercises. Likewise, it can execute nimble technique to bind together the coding and testing process flawlessly.
2) Testing Increases Software Development Cost
An endeavor needs to send talented analyzers and put resources into hearty test mechanization instruments to assess the nature of the product completely. That is the reason; numerous business visionaries accept that Software testing builds Software development cost fundamentally. In any case, an endeavor can diminish Software testing cost in various ways. It can settle on open source and free test mechanization devices to diminish both testing time and cost. Additionally, the Software testing results will assist the business with generating more income by propelling a top notch Software application, notwithstanding keeping away from support and remedy cost.
3) Test Automation Makes Manual Testing Obsolete
The test automation services instruments help QA experts to execute and rehash an assortment of tests without putting additional time and exertion. Thus, numerous ventures investigate approaches to computerize all testing exercises. The business visionaries regularly overlook the weaknesses of different test mechanization instruments. They overlook the basic actuality that test computerization devices do not have the ability to envision and decide. In contrast to human analyzers, the test mechanization instruments can't evaluate an application's ease of use and client experience definitely. These days, a product application must convey ideal client experience to end up prevalent and gainful. Thus, an endeavor must join human analyzers and test mechanization apparatuses to evaluate the nature of its product all the more accurately.
4) Elaborate Testing Makes an Application Flawless
While testing a Software application, analyzers play out an assortment of tests to assess its openness, usefulness, execution, convenience, security, and client experience. They even distinguish and fix all imperfections and execution issues in the product before its discharge. The test outcomes likewise help endeavors to choose if the product meets all predefined prerequisites. Be that as it may, the client experience conveyed by an application may vary as indicated by client conditions and situations. The analyzers can't recognize all bugs or imperfections in an application in spite of performing and rehashing numerous tests. Consequently, the business must be set up to get the bugs or issues found in the application after its discharge.
5) Developers are not required to Test the Software
A venture must send talented QA experts to get the nature of its product evaluates completely and adequately. Yet, it can generally quicken the Software testing process by making the software engineers and analyzers cooperate. The designers can further survey the nature of utilization code by performing unit testing and combination testing all through the coding procedure. Moreover, they should perform rational soundness testing to guarantee that the Software is working as indicated by predefined necessities. Light-footed procedure further expects endeavors to bind together Software advancement and testing exercises to convey top notch Software applications. The undertaking the executives approach expects organizations to test the product constantly by a group comprising the two software engineers and analyzers.
6) Testing Process Commences after Software Development Process
The customary cascade model enables business to begin the product testing process subsequent to finishing the product improvement process. In any case, the customary Software testing model doesn't meet the prerequisites of unpredictable and cross-stage Software applications. A consistent increment is being noted in the quantity of ventures changing from cascade models to nimble approach and DevOps. As referenced before, dexterous strategy expected organizations to test the product ceaselessly, alongside making the software engineers and analyzers fill in as a solitary group. Moreover, DevOps expects organizations to bring together programming advancement, testing, and sending forms. Subsequently, the analyzers these days start testing an application from the underlying period of the product advancement lifecycle.
7) No Need to Deploy Skilled Software Testers
Numerous business visionaries still accept that the main assignment of a testing proficient is to discover bugs or imperfections in an application. The even don't consider Software testing requires ability and inventiveness. The misinterpretation regularly causes organizations to get their product tried by arbitrary individuals. An undertaking can include genuine clients in the product testing procedure to evaluate the application's convenience and client experience all the more viably. In any case, it must convey gifted analyzers to get the product assessed under shifting client conditions and situations. The gifted analyzers see how to distinguish the deformities and execution issues in the product by making many test situations. The even produce expand test results to encourage the basic leadership process.
Most undertakings these days need to produce more income by propelling Software applications that convey ideal client experience. Henceforth, they actualize formal Software QA testing procedure to dispatch an application with no basic deformities or execution issues.
Similarly, numerous endeavors even actualize light-footed approach or DevOps to assess the application all through the Software improvement lifecycle. A business person can generally accumulate data and quantitative information from different sources to check these normal Software testing fantasies and misguided judgments.
