What Vaska and Sylviane found in the Obsidienne has been intentionally left up in the air to be discussed with Vaska and Sylviane's players a little later down, but it was horrifying enough to concern them and come back to tell Calandre all about it. Right now, it's not about what it was exactly so much as how much. Lots of monsters, lots of beasts, lots of death, lots of bad vibes. 1. The reason you why started playing Lost Ark?

I was waiting for Blue Protocol (still waiting for it) and had no major mmo to play so I tried Lost Ark out. never thought it would suck me in so bad tbh

At the moment, Esoteric Flurry Striker/Casting Reflux Sorceress

Most likely would fall in love with Arcana when it comes out in July (literally saving all my mats now in preparation for it, tbh I think I’ll even switch mains for it)

Going by what we have currently, the Dawn skin for scrapper 👀 holy crap its so good it almost made me make a scrapper (but then I learnt it was undyable and was like nvm, its still gorgeous though)

4. Favorite skin?

The Banquet skins for men, all 3 versions of them 😭 I love them so much and was about to buy a third one for my pally and a fourth one for my future scouter but the crystal prices......

5. Favorite region?

Rohendel, hands down no questions asked. Vern is a very close second (totally not because of Thar/Lahart being there)

Rohendel main story quests are sooooo looooong but damn I love how pretty it looks and the aesthetic

If island, I actually love Shangra. Would've taken a lot of screenshots there if I wasn't busy farming for dews and peaches all the time 😂

6. Best looking ultimate?

I haven't played all the available classes (played sorc, bard, pally, gunlance, striker and sharpshooter) but among those 6 I played, sorceress apocalypse call makes me feel like a badass, who doesn't love summoning a meteor shower?? (too bad Enviska’s Might is better for general content)

7. Prefer melee or range?

Honestly I love both but at the moment, ranged because ping 😂 easier to dodge mechanics and still deal damage

8. Prefer burst dps or continuous dps? (not sure if they're asking this because of Google translate tbh but I'll pretend they're asking this for now)

Continuous dps, more reliable and don't have to worry about missing the dps window

void+では3月17日(木)より中島吏英「Flat」展を開催いたします。 中島は2000年に東京藝術大学美術学部芸術学科を卒業後渡英してチェルシー芸術大学彫刻科、ロンドン大学スレード芸術大学彫刻科を修了。以降ロンドンを活動の中心に国内外で展覧会やフェスに数多く参加してきました。2021年には、イギリスのThe David and Yuko Juda Art Foundation Awardの2ndプライズを受賞し、益々今後の活動が注目される作家です。 音楽と彫刻の二つのメディアを融合させた作品でよく知られている中島ですが、既存の楽器を奏でて音を出すのではなく、私たちが普段目にする日用品、例えばバケツやビス、プレートやカップ、石、木の廃材などのオブジェを使い、時にはそれらをモーターなどにつなげて音を作りだし、スペース全体を様々な物音と、音と音との間の余白、それらを奏でるオブジェで彫刻に作り上げます。即興音楽のシーンでも、デヴィット・カ��ングハム、デヴィッド・トゥープ、ミキ・ユイ、チャールズ・ヘイワード、鈴木昭男等のミュージシャンともコラボレーションし、実験的なシーンでも活躍しています。今回は2016年以降様々な会場にて共演してきた坂田明氏を会場に迎え、トークとパフォーマンスを3月26日（土）に行う予定です。 前回のvoid＋での展示では、ギャラリー自体をスピーカーに見立て、来場者にイギリスのダンジネス（Dungeness）の海辺にてフィールドレコードしたサウンドでスペース自体を響かせました。12年ぶりのvoid+での今回の展覧会では、どんな音にギャラリーが形作られていくのか、是非みなさまこの機会に実際に足をお運び、体感してください。

I won’t deny the fact that the first thing that captured my attention according my favorite Comic character, was firstly superficially the name, as we happened to share the same one.

Reading further about her and her powers, made her even more appealing and interesting, since the character is also considered a figure of the feminist movement.

Black Orchid could fight crime by infiltrating criminals using her ability to disguise perfectly.

Regarding her story before before becoming The Black Orchid, the character originally named Susan Linden was a childhood sweetheart of the contemporary botanist Philip Sylvian. However, later on Susan married Carl Thorne, an abusive individ who she met working in Monaco. 

The marriage escalated and when Linden turned for help to dr. Sylvian she was found and killed by her former husband Thorne.  Dr. Sylvian however, was able to bring her back to life transformed into a hybrid between a plant and a human. Transformation during which Linden gained her powers and also the name “Black Orchid”. Black Orchid perfectioned the art of disguise and could easily get close to criminals in order to find incriminating evidence regarding them.Most of the time it was hard to discover her involvement, until the person would be found bound and gagged with a black orchid next to them, which was her signature.What is an interesting twist, which differentiates this Comic from most of the others, is indirectly breaking somehow that static well-known formula where the Hero usually found in difficult situations tends to escape and revenge sooner or later.  However that is not the case in this one, giving so the story an unanticipated twist, where the heroin is immediately killed following her capture.

# CREATING MY OWN COMIC CHARACTER

“There's nothing worse than a female superhero who's all male gaze'd up with gratuitous crotch-shots and poses that are physically impossible if you have internal organs.” 

Therefore, I want to create a superhero character who fights an actual specific injustice taking place currently in the world and is known for her contribution to a cause more than for “a little cute costume”, the perfect hair and unreal body proportions.

// STORY:

Slayage (born a male: Elyesa Halil Hamal, later after gender transformation known as: Asma Dagmara) is a transgender woman born in Chechnya (an autonomous republic of Russia, located in the North Caucasus, near the Caspian Sea, in southern Russia), in 1996. During her teenage years she found out her sexual orientation to be what her culture, family included considered a “sickness, deviation of the normal” and was not at all accepted.  Therefore she was put in psychiatric ward, regarding  the following statement from her parents: “Either we will kill you, or we will lock you up in a psychiatric ward and throw away the key. The only alternative is that you undergo an exorcism.” Left no other choice Hamal decided to obey to her parents will and attend one of the “Healing” practices of the psychiatric wards which relayed on old religious techniques of exorcism. As she went through horrid brainwashing techniques, treated as she was possessed and tortured constantly, she did not accept being “healed” Therefore she was cent in the horrid concentration camps and was left with no other chance but to take her own life.  She finds wolfsbane plant blooming around the camp and she knew that the roots can cause paralysis of the cardiac muscles or the entire respiratory system resulting so in death. During the Middle Ages, witches used the wolfsbane in their "flying" potions because of the feelings of dizziness and numbness brought on by its irregular heartbeat side effects. In a bunch of minutes the officers around the camp found her body paralysed in the ground and decided to throw it where they threw the rest of the bodies, where nobody would approach to search, in radioactive territory. After being dumbed there, Hamal not only did not die, but there was an unknown reaction that happened between the wolfsbane poison in her system and the surrounding extreme radioactive pollution by suddenly giving her the strength to get up fully recovered and realising that she did not only change physically but also she gained super-powers. Hamal realized that she could release a powerful concentration of wolfsbane root poison, her chromosomes also switched giving her the so desired female gender finally, she could jump long distance and run extremely fast, she could easily climb vertical surfaces, and lastly her skin could turn purple by making her untouchable by bullets or sharp objects. Hamal renamed herself Asma Dagmara, name she always dreamt to have when she was still a boy. Dagmara had read about the famous botanist Philip Sylvian that helped The Black Orchid with her transformation so she headed there to France, to ask for his help in understanding what was happening with her too. Sylvian was amazed of this “nature’s” creation without the interference of any scientist, and after a lot of tests he was able to explain her what she was capable of. Sylvian was also so terrified hearing of the horrid story of her life, so he decided to help her build her character and make sure she could use her powers to the fullest in order to head back in Chechnya and put an end to the terror caused in her community. Dagmar went through a detailed training program, that put her closely in touch with her new powers and lastly she gained the superhero name “Slayage” and wore the new costume that enhanced her powers and her natural body shield. Ironically though, dr. Sylvian found out that a single drop of wolfsbane could kill her, and as well the body shied did not work on her head, so he made her a head titan shield which made her slower in moving but more protected. In the end of the training Dagmar was so grateful to the professor and full of gratitude headed to Chechnya to start her mission. First people she wanted to deal with were her family, but of course she had no heart to kill them, therefore she only sneaked in the house, told them she was there to revenge on her son and many more like him, in people like them and left them in horror and panic.  Slayage relocated herself in the radioactive fields, feeling safer there where nobody approached and also where it all started, and created her little lab in one abandoned building and started one by one haunting down officers, people of the religion, government, families, and anyone who had anything at all to do with putting her community in the horrible concentration camps. Her last aim, and the cherry on top would be Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen leader, after the declaration that  “If we have [gay] people here, I’m telling you officially their relatives won’t let them be [gay] because of our faith… Even if it’s punishable under the law, we would still condone it”. and also “you cannot detain and persecute people who simply do not exist in the republic.” Slayage was portrayed by the media, as a demon of devil who was trying to overtake the country, and that was present there exactly because suddenly people were accepting homosexuality.  However this did not stop her, haunting down every person that went missed from her community and the person in charge for the disappearance. In every case she’d kill them with her poison and then leave them half melted covered in a viscose purple solution.  Slayage continues her mission till nowadays and has saved hundreds of people and killed hundreds more on the evil side as well. Le 28 Septembre dernier s’est tenu à Douala la neuvième session ou acte 9 du “Café de l’entrepreneure”; il s’agit d’un rendez-vous initié et organisé régulièrement par le CWEN (Cameroon Women Entrepreneurs Network) dans le but d’informer sur ses activités, de former, motiver et aussi “networker”*.

C’EST QUOI LE CWEN ?

Il s’agit d’une association créée en Mars 2015, constituée de femmes Camerounaises entrepreneures et chefs d’entreprises. Cette initiative est née suite aux formations “mieux gérer son entreprise” organisées par le Bureau International du Travail (BIT) et le Groupement Inter patronal du Cameroun (GICAM). Ceci dans le but d’offrir aux femmes Camerounaises un réseau leur permettant d’assurer la croissance et la durabilité de leurs entreprises.

  Ses Missions

Les missions du CWEN sont axées sur cinq point principaux: 1. Orienter, encadrer, informer et assister les femmes entrepreneures sur des questions relatives à la vie des affaires. 2. Favoriser l’accès des membres à divers programmes du gouvernement et des organismes internationaux. 3. Créer un environnement de partage d’expériences et de services entres les membres. 4. Représenter les femmes entrepreneurs auprès des autorités et partout où besoin sera. 5. Promouvoir l’image de la femme entrepreneure.

    Ses Moyens

Afin de remplir ses missions et son objectif principal qui est la contribution à la croissance et l’assurance de la pérennité des entreprises de ses membres, le CWEN fait appel à divers moyens, tels que:

des Assemblées générales, des comités d’études, un bureau de compétences et surtout le “café de l’entrepreneure”.

    L’ACTE 9 DU CAFÉ DE L’ENTREPRENEURE

Pour la neuvième fois, cette plateforme d’échanges, d’information et de formation a été dressée le 28 Septembre dernier à Bonanjo Douala. Cet événement a pour coeur de cibles les femmes entrepreneures, chefs d’entreprises, porteuses de projets et aussi des étudiantes. De plus, sa partie exposition-vente (moment de grande découverte de ce qui est fait localement et parfois pas connu) est ouverte au public.

Déroulement

Une centaine de femmes ont répondu présentes à cet événement, des chefs d’entreprises aux étudiantes, en passant par des entrepreneures et on a aussi remarqué la présence de quelques messieurs curieux et formateurs.

La présidente du CWEN: Marie Caroline KINGUE a ouvert la session, suivie du Directeur de l’Agence des PME: Louis Marie BADGA et la déléguée Régionale de la promotion de la femme et de la famille: Isabelle Lafortune MAKOTA.

Un atelier technique enrichissant à cette ère numérique, pour toutes celles qui souhaitent non seulement offrir une visibilité à leurs activités, mais surtout avoir un impact positif sur des potentiels clients et investisseurs à travers le numérique. Il s’agissait pour Jean Pierre BOEP, expert en Marketing digital d’édifier les dames et les demoiselles sur le E-branding, en particulier sa nécessité et son impact (non négligeable).

La success story du jour était nulle autre que celle de la fondatrice et DG de “Network pressing express”: Sylviane SANDJONG Qui a su transformé sa frustration infantile en force et ensuite en passion. Cette passion pour la lessive et la propreté qui l’a poussé à se donner à fond dans le lavage à la main à domicile de vêtements qu’elle récupérait et rendait ensuite. Son dynamisme l’a poussé à braver des moments difficiles telle que des grossesses et vols de son matériel de travail et continuer à développer son activité avec le soutien non négligeable de son conjoint. Sa détermination à ne pas rester inactive l’a porté où elle se trouve aujourd’hui: partie de presque rien elle est désormais une grande cheffe d’entreprise avec à son actif plusieurs agences de Pressing à travers la ville. Ce fût un grand moment d’émotions et surtout de motivation.

Un panel de discussion s’est ensuite déroulé, sur Comment booster son chiffre d’affaire, savoir vendre des produits et savoir se vendre. Des professionnels tels que KAKI MAURANT, DG conseil en marketing et communication agrée Marketing Kommunikation Management (MKM); Hervé MELI, Responsable Marketing JUMIA et bien d’autres ont donné des astuces conseils et consignes, selon leur champs d’actions et leur contexte, sur la question.

Un dernier atelier pratique sur comment entretenir sa maison à l’aide de produits naturels bio a été coordonné par Rachelle NAWA.

  MOMENT FESTIF

Tout au long du déroulement de l’événement, plusieurs heureux gagnants à la tombola ont pu entrer en possession de nombreux lots. Les participants comme le grand public ont pu découvrir dans les stands de nombreux produits locaux et services tels que le Salon du Mariage et des moments d’exceptions (SAMMEC) de Mélanie WABO et bien d’autres.

Sans oublier mon moment favori qui est le réseautage pendant le lunch et la visite des différents stands. Les participants ont pu échanger informellement entre eux ainsi qu’avec les membres du CWEN. Il a enfin été question pour les intéressées de se rapprocher du bureau du CWEN afin d’y adhérer.

En définitive, le Café de l’entrepreneure (concept du “Cameroon Women Entrepreneurs Network” abrégé CWEN) est incontestablement un événement édifiant. La raison en est qu’il comporte les clés nécessaires pour contribuer à la croissance de l’entrepreneure entend que personne et aussi à la croissance de son business. Cet événement qui englobe à la fois formations, échanges, réseautage et découverte est une véritable aubaine pour les femmes Camerounaises dynamiques qui décident de s’entraider. L’acte 9 dont la communication a été assurée par Josiane BIDZOGO a été une réussite et on ne peut qu’avoir très hâte d’être à l’acte 10!
