A wide smile spread across Anne's face at Jack's words and she sat down across his lap, legs crossing and hanging off one side as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Leaning in and giving him a long, slow kiss before pulling back and resting her forehead against his. The wide smile still present.

"Oh Jack, you do sometimes say the sweetest things don't you." She murmured. Running a finger down his nose, his lips and then resting upon his chin as her breath ghosted over his lips.

Anne screamed in frustration as she turned around, gesturing angrily with her hands. Moving away from Mary whilst clenching her jaw tightly. Breathing in and out as evenly as she could.

"Nothing I ever do is good enough for you, is it? There's always something that's wrong. Always something that's not right or not enough or I dragged us away from what we loved or bought the wrong fucking shop.... Nothing has ever been enough!!"

"Oh, those fuckers! This is my best corset!" She exclaimed whilst trying to inspect the damaged leather. "I'm never going to fix this." Anne glanced up at Jack with an annoyed shake of her head. "Did you see what they did?"

Not giving the slightest bit of concern to the fact that she was bleeding.

She let out a scream before rounding the table and lunging at him. Grabbing him by the shirt and pushing him against the wall with a thud.

"You... You... I thought you were fucking dead!" She yelled out him, her words breaking with other emotion despite her fury at being led to believe that Jack was gone. "I thought you dead..." Anne's words were less harsh, shaking slightly before she suddenly grasped his face and kissed him as hard as she possibly could. She then pulled back before slapping him hard across the face.
