The producer writes,
When difficult things happen to us, we have a choice.  Either we get angry at God or we look to Him to help us learn whatever lesson He wants to teach us.  Learning His will and His way for each step of our lives is a lifelong quest. God promises that in all things, good and bad, He will work for good in our lives if we trust and love Him. In this video the main character faces disloyal friends, difficulties in his business and fights in his family, yet he choses to stay close to God and seek out His will in every circumstance.
Asim Azhar had never sung a Sindhi Jazz song before.  He worked hard to master both the Sindhi pronunciation and express with his vocals the heart’s cry to know God better.  Filmed mainly in Murree, we want to thank the staff of Murree Christian School for their incredible help.  The talented Qasim Azhar produced and mixed the music.

Taranhar (Savior), Sindh diaspora music video
Friends who work among Sindhs in the Pakistan region are producing a number of music videos for Sindhs in the diaspora. Those do not read Urdu so the subtitles are in English. Each is a story song filmed in a different place - this one in Hong Kong.
Taranhar (Savior)

Notes from the Youtube page:
God never promised that the life of a believer would be without pain or trouble.  That will only be a reality once we reach Heaven.  This song reminds us that the greatest gift we receive from God is salvation from sin and eternal death.  So when we face sickness, pain and even death, remember 2 things: 1) God is good and 2) God loves you. He often does protect us from pain, but when He chooses not to, He is with us through it, bringing good out of a bad situation.  Hong Kong was a beautiful setting for this song, and we’re grateful for all those who worked tirelessly with us to film this video.  ‘Taranhar’ changes time signatures 3 times.  Can you hear when and where?

Diaspora Sindhis, music video (’Need You’)
A friend and team are making a series of contextualized music videos for Diaspora Sindhis. I’m featuring them on this blog.
Tunhanji Zarurat A | Hal Puthyan | Humaira Channa | Latif Ali Khan
All of us have ‘storms’ that affect our lives.  Sicknesses, abuse, loss, family crisis, joblessness and even our own mistakes can result in turbulence, pain and fear entering our lives.  Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee and is able, today, to calm the storms in our lives. He is Healer, Savior and Friend to those who trust in Him.
Humaira Ji’s beautiful vocals and the qawwali section at the end, led by Latif Ali Khan, remind us that even when the storms are due to our own wrong doing, God loves us and longs for us to come to Him for peace.  A big thank you to our Sindhi friends in Singapore for your love, cooperation and good acting.
