We’re half a day in and Westminster already pissed me tf off 😂 the judge put up the worst dog in the ring and then WITHHELD select dog. Two of the other males are speciality winning dogs (of huge specialities beating out over 60 dogs) under well respected breeder judges, and the other male is multi-group winning and has I think three owner handled best in shows.

I hate all breed judges gdi.

#text post #Westminster 2025 #ABSURD #the number one male and number 3 overall borzoi withheld on #the number two breed and bitch got an AOM #I think just about the entire community put that judge on their DNS list so fast lol #the winning dog was on a handler who had just won Scottish deerhounds under the same judge directly before borzoi #the three males withheld on are also more representative of Midwest dogs which #ya know is the part of the country deepest in quality when it comes to borzoi but sure #put up all the west coast nonesense #and even then they were all more show style than our typical borzoi here!!!#Augh the raagggeee #oh oh and not even to mention frankly the bitches kinda sucked this year #and all three of those males were nicer than all of them #its kinda weird Westminster has lacked bitch quality the last few years #but the bitches in our breed are far superior to the males #at a good specialities you’ll usually be spoiled for bitch choice and have a few nice males
