Earning Your First Million by Investing in Luxury Real Estate
Financial Freedom, is the state that everybody desires. Many people are aiming for financial success and they think that the way to get there is to start from the bottom and climb the corporate ladder. However, there are intelligent ways to attain this fast. There is a myth that how faster you aim for your dreams the fast it will fade away. However many people do not know that being strategic and smart with another source of income and taking intelligent risks will lead to better financial success. Luxury real estate is associated with extravagance, exclusivity, and unmatched living situations. In this field, Crown Asia stands out as a top builder who constantly creates homes that are the pinnacle of opulence and sophistication. With a focus on quality, innovation, and attention to detail, Crown Asia has successfully carved out a niche for itself in the real estate market with its premium homes.
The Philippine economy is recovering from a severe recession in 2020, boosting the real estate market. Luxury real estate is a popular investment option due to its individuality, comfort, and exclusivity. The sector has seen consistent growth, with 6,000 premium and ultra-luxury units expected in 2022. However, investors should consider their goals, budget, location, and the reputation of reputable developers before making a luxury real estate investment. Luxury real estate properties may appreciate at a higher rate than typical residential buildings due to their exclusivity and scarcity. The market is favorable, and the market may see large capital gains over the long term. Real estate can help spread risk and lower portfolio volatility due to its low connection with other asset classes.
Financial freedom has gained more and more favor in recent years. The goal is to achieve financial independence, when one’s assets and wealth produce enough income to pay for all living expenditures and allow one to enjoy life as one chooses. Although everyone’s idea of financial freedom is different, practically everyone aspires to get it.
Luxury real estate could be a little bit intimidating at first since there is the connotation that it will cost a lot of money to start investing in it. The property being sold is in a prestigious area, so attaining connections with upper high-class people can also be a challenge for some if they are not exposed to people from the upper class. You have the option to choose first for regular real estate properties as a start-up then work your way up.
For those prepared to put in the time and effort, educate themselves, and make wise decisions, investing in luxury real estate is a practical and alluring way to achieve financial freedom. You can create a portfolio of opulent properties that gives you the desired level of financial freedom by doing meticulous planning, making wise investment choices, and putting an emphasis on earning passive income. Keep in mind that the trip will take time and commitment, but the benefits of financial independence and a comfortable lifestyle will make the work worthwhile.

In addition to being considerably more suburban, as all Republican districts are, residents of objectors’ districts are more than twice as likely as residents of other Republican districts to live in exurban “sparse suburban areas.” These are districts like North Carolina’s 9th, which runs from Charlotte to Fayetteville. Representative Dan Bishop of NC-9 was the author of that state’s infamous 2016 legislation prohibiting transgender individuals from using the gendered public facilities of their choice and preempting local minimum wage ordinances. He was also a signatory to the brief in support of Texas v. Pennsylvania, President Trump’s final direct appeal to the Supreme Court to forestall the certification of his loss.
These are also among the fastest-growing districts in the country, their population growth on average outpacing that in districts represented by Democrats or other Republicans over the last twenty years. Almost all of this growth has been among non-white groups, specifically Latinos and Asian Americans, resulting in a dramatic shift in the demographic composition of these districts.
Being on average younger, this growth in non-white residents has also meant age and race have become increasingly correlated. Residents under the age of 18 are 3.6 times more likely to be Hispanic and 1.6 times more likely to be Black or Asian American than those over the age of 65. Concretely this has meant debates over policies involving a transfer of resources between generational cohorts — Social Security and Medicare, public education, housing — have also become highly polarized by race....
Since 2000, strong demand for housing due to relatively fast population growth has put upward pressure on housing prices in Republican objectors’ districts, shrinking the gap in home values between their districts and other Republican districts . One such case is Texas’s 17th, which snakes through the northern Austin suburbs to include Bryan-College Station and Waco and saw median home values rise by an inflation-adjusted 3.3 percent a year from $108,000 to $199,000 in constant 2019 dollars.
In Republican districts, home ownership rates over the last twenty years were largely stable for white households, plummeted to less than half among Black households, rose modestly among Hispanic households, and rose considerably among Asian Americans. The latter two groups have been the main beneficiaries of real estate appreciation in these districts and also saw the fastest income growth over the same period.
The persistence of low home ownership among Black households is both the near-term legacy of the 2007–09 housing market crash and recession and the longer-term legacy of redlining and Jim Crow segregation. Virtually no progress has been made in the last 50 years in closing the Black-white wealth gap, the expansion of home ownership among Black households in the 1990s and 2000s having been fueled by the expansion of fraudulent subprime mortgage lending that left them saddled with high debt burdens after housing prices collapsed.
While the home ownership rate among Latinos remains well below that for white households, the gap in median home values between white and Latino homeowners in these districts has closed in the last twenty years. This indicates that strong housing price growth largely benefited existing Latino homeowners rather than new buyers. Latino homeowners in Republican districts are also on average more likely to identify as white and to have been born in the United States than Latinos residing in other parts of the country. These facts go some way in explaining President Trump’s modest inroads among Latino voters in 2020.
White homeowners’ perception of a loss of status relative to upwardly mobile Hispanic and Asian American households is the social context out of which has emerged the nativist politics at the center of Trumpism. Middle class whites in Republican objectors’ districts are nevertheless considerably more likely to own their own home and receive higher incomes than any other racial group except Asian Americans. It is whiteness itself that has lost salience as a signifier of social status and class and it is to this status anxiety that Trumpism is addressed.
interesting data, not the best analysis in the article, which makes sense cause it’s some brookings type. rather than view only the anxieties around the rising status of others as the prime motivation behind these political trends, we should look at the precarity introduced into these areas. 10 to 20 years ago, someone without a university degree could still get a comfortable middle class lifestyle by taking a lower paying job in an exurban area where housing prices were still low and goods prices were being held down by massive outsourcing to low wage nations. however, in the past 8 years, gas, oil, and mining have all downsized, with major shale bankruptcies particularly during 2016 and 2020. america’s prison population has shrunk for the first time since the 60s, only barely, but enough to cause some reverberations in towns where prisons are the only employer. meanwhile, lots of federal reserve money flowing into the economy has boosted asset prices to the point where even exurban housing prices are rising. it’s enough to make the more well off people in these districts feel pressured. lastly, the voting turnout numbers are key. in a non-objector republican district, even more people tend to vote than in democratic ones, because wealth and racial homogeneity reduce any need for voter suppression techniques. in democratic districts, machine politics drives lower voter turnouts, because democrats want to win but don’t want to spend too much doing it. in republican objector districts, heavy voter suppression by republicans combines with a lack of any reason to vote for a democratic candidate on the part of the poor majority in these districts, since democrats have shifted into a party only for the well-educated, to reduce voting patterns to only a few interest groups. consequently, anything these interest groups want becomes of prime importance, since only a few votes can swing elections, whether it’s churches that want abortion bans, or somewhat wealthy but precarious labour aristocrats and petit bourgeoisie who, due to a lack of a more compelling narrative, rationalize their economic misfortunes through weird conspiracy theories and then demand their political leaders enact those theories (often one and the same, after all, churches make perfect fodder for conspiracism to spread).

I’m confused, I was always taught that Reagan was one of the best and most progressive presidents we ever had, granted I went to a Catholic school way back when, what did Ronny do? (In a not accusatory or snippy way)
Hello my dear anon! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to talk about this, because while I am firmly a believer that everyone can have their own political opinions, objectively, Raegan literally ruined the country through something called Raeganomics -- and that's not just an exaggeration.
Here are some of his biggest lasting legacies that make people remember him in a negative light:
Purposeful inaction on HIV/AIDs
Purposefully widened income inequality through 'trickle-down' economics
Suppression of unions
Slashing of public assistance
Excessive corporate influence on government
Explanations under the cut (with links to articles for further reading, if you're so inclined)!
Purposeful inaction on HIV/AIDs
One of the most notable things that Raegan was responsible for was his failed response to addressing the HIV/AIDs crisis. The first case was recorded in 1981, but one of the first nationally pieces of recognition, the New York Times, posting an article about it in 1982. This was when it was first called GRID, or Gay-Related Immune Deficiency. Because it was affecting primarily gay men, the general public, and the government itself, did not feel any need to stop the disease from spreading. Literally, because it was the gay disease, the overall perception was that this was God sending a cure for the country.
Raegan said and did nothing, not about the disease, or about the deaths, or about the hate crimes that were growing more and more prevalent against queer people. So despite YEARS of begging and marching and millions of people dead -- it's not until 1985 when he even publicly acknowledges the disease that had thousands of Americans dropping dead on his watch. It's not until 1987 when the administration finally forms a committee to look into trying to cull the disease. 47,000 Americans are estimated to have been affected by AIDs by then. It's not until Ryan White, a straight white young man who contracts AIDs and dies when he is only 18 in 1990, that the disease becomes a matter of importance for the rest of the country, because suddenly they understood that disease does not discriminate. HIV/AIDs is still a disease that we deal with today, with over 1.1 million people living with AIDs today in the united states.
Purposefully widened income inequality
It is no secret that associated with the Raegan administration is something called 'Raeganomics', which, while being a very complicated economic theory, ultimately boils down to establishing a "trickle-down" economy. Where, in theory, those at the very top who hold the majority of wealth in the nation, allow that wealth to move down through the middle and lower classes by either investing it or spending it in communities.
And of course, as is well evident, that just, didn't happen. The wealthiest of the nation received large tax cuts in order to hold onto their wealth to trickle down, but instead of actually spending it, they put their money into off-shore banks and then asked for more. I could get into the why's or how's of economics, but just know this -- the tax rate used to be anywhere from 71 and 94% for the highest tax bracket, money that was used to fund this nation's infrastructure, roads and schools, maintain a healthy economy, provide public services and budgets for progressive programs.
Raegan slashed it down to 28%, and in doing so widened the income inequality gap almost immediately, something that we're still seeing today. The reason why you and your family pay more money in taxes than billionaires like Bezos and Musk is directly because of Raeganomics.
Suppression of unions
The backbone of this nation has always been fought by the Unions, which are organized groups of laborers who fight for better working conditions, safer working conditions, and good pay. The reason you have a weekend is thanks to the unions. The reason why we don't have child labor is thanks to the unions. And in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, unions were an incredibly powerful part of working society, because they ensured that workers would not and could not be exploited by the CEOs who want so desperately to exploit them. Well, thanks to Raeganomics and the tax cuts, CEOs were starting to play a much larger role in the The Raegan administration, and ultimately, Raegan sided with them to effectively put measures in place that slashed the importance or power of unions.
It first started with dismantling the Air Traffic Controller's union, then followed up with slashing taxes for the elite rich who employed the union workers. Then it continued when the recession that the tax cuts caused laid off workers in the auto industry, and still declined when he appointed a "management-sided" man named Donald Dotson to chair the National Labor Relations Board.
But what really put the nail in the coffin, was his push for something called the Right To Work law, which mean that state governments have the option to not fund or support unions, removed protections for unions, and that employees do not have to join unions if they don't want to. What happened as a result, is that companies began firing employees who threatened to unionize, turning the unions from having great PR, to being a thing of fear.
This is directly related to why minimum wage has been so low for so long. Thank Raegan for that.
Slashing of public assistance
Because of the enormous tax cuts for the ultra rich, the country fell into a deep recession, and as a result many programs were cut for the poorest of the nation. Food Stamps, the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act, Federal guaranteed loan programs for higher education, Legal Assistance, etc., all took a big hit.
The reason your student loans are through the roof? Raegan. The reason unemployment benefits are near impossible to navigate? Raegan. Directly his fault.
Excessive corporate influence on government
I think one of the things that's very important to understand is that Raegan was a film actor before he went into politics and became president (sound like someone else we know?) and he was actually neither a Democrat nor a Republican -- he was a Libertarian. And what Libertarians do, is look at America like a business. Which is exactly what Raegan did, and exactly why his presidency fucked up our nation. He thought that the president was like the CEO, and that the people were employees, which, is fundamentally not how that works.
So it's with no surprise that he allowed SUPER-PACs to completely take over political parties in accepting money donated heavily by them to write the policies that shape this country. The reason why so many politicians, particularly Republicans, are in their seats of power is because of the millions or sometimes billions of dollars that CEOs fund them, to write the laws they want. That's entirely Raegan's fault, and at his encouragement.
So, from these 6 major things alone, we have a country that has been ravaged by disease, thrown into poverty and recession, killed the middle class, boosted the wealthy 1%, accrued enormous amounts of debt, and prevented economic mobility for anyone to hope to climb out of it. And that's not even mentioning his war on drugs and increase of mass incarceration for privatized prisons, his insane military budget leading a larger budget deficit, the Iran-Contra scandal, among many many other things.
As I said earlier, people are allowed to think he's a great president if they want, but factually, his actions (and inactions) have fundamentally and irreparably broken the economic landscape of our nation for the poor, working classes.
I encourage you to research further into this, if you so desire. There's a lot more than I mentioned here, I only picked what I thought to be the most famous of his failures as a president.
#<333#sorry this got long he just#really fucked up so much of our country#lol#i could really continue on and on

Cyprus brings shampoo to Rotterdam 2021
youtube
I FELL IN LOVE, I FELL IN LOVE, I GAVE MY HEART TO PRODUCT PLACEMENT.
Though I do see where they come from. Everyone from Panik Records, from her to Eleni Foureira featuring Perfectil on the “Fuego” MV, gonna need that sweet sweet money all of the time. But has Greece’s economy not really recovered for them to constantly need to advertise products on music videos or am I just losing my mind overthinking things?
Eitherway, this review may or may not appear before or during their rehearsal day, so see how do I make a fool of myself by trying to estimate Cyprus’s chances!
ARTIST & ENTRY INFO
This year we have a 26 year old Elena Tsagrinou from Greece here (the way they were last represented by a somewhat Cypriot on 2017?). She did music early on in her age, also participated in the Greek version of Got Talent. Though, before breaking out as a solo pop sensation in ways you cannot imagine, she used to be in a pop band OtherView. Strangely enough, I’ve heard of them because of this song below but I could’ve NEVER estimated it was her and never could have I predicted she would land herself a Eurovision entrance all alone:
youtube
The band has had quite a few successful enough singles with her, she did some music shows participation and hosting, her band switched labels midway through (guess into which one they eventually landed, hint: some of the screenshots in this review have this peculiar logo), and in 2018, she had to “withdraw” from the group to go ahead and pursue the aforementioned solo career, somewhat. She continued doing a lot of shows (particularly seen on the MAD music channel related events), and doesn’t have as many singles as she had with OtherView right now, but she’s possibly well on her way to blossom as an artiste. Some of those reading (lol who am I kidding who even reads these) may be familiar with this little song of hers:
youtube
You’ve heard way too many things about “El Diablo”, her 2021 entry, so idk if I feel like explaining the technical side of things all by myself or you already know everything. But in these reviews I repeat everyone else regardless, so let me just say that “El Diablo” is an obvious pop song, with a lot of Swedish related touches to it, because at least one person on this song also worked on Alvaro Estrella’s Melodifestivalen 2021 entry that glorifies at least a handful of the same cliches that “El Diablo” does lyrically. Dear Eurovision lyricists, you can use more foreign languages than Spanish for your obligatory foreign language incorporations, thanks~
Although I’m not sure about whether it is more Laurell Barker’s fault as much as it is Joker Thörnfeldt’s, but it’s easier to blame them equally, because the former probably came up with “ta-taco, tamale” and the latter couldn’t get enough of the word “mamacita” they used for the aforementioned Melodifestivalen entry. Anyway, the lyrics, from what I get, is that she’s in love with an eeeevil guy because he’s sweet talking her, they do some sexy stuff together (presumably), pour sauce on their bodies for no explicit reason other than “obligatory-foreign-reference-itis”, she’s breaking the rules (and idk if it was “mama-mamacita” telling her to do it), got the icy edges that the spicy is melting for her, throws eyelashes on the floor when she’s got no wigs to throw (but that doesn’t matter because even without a wig, she can flip her hair and make him look twice), and there’s as much as you need to know about the song’s lyrics as I feel like I should show to you, because eh. Eurovision has suffered from worse cookie-cutter lyricism through the years, “El Diablo” is painful but not the worst.
REVIEW
But I do like the song somewhat!
“El Diablo” was initially compared to Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” upon release, and I totally kind of see why, because in all the right spots you can absolutely hum over the chorus to that over the one of “El Diablo”’s, it just exchanges gratuitous French translation of one of the already sung lines on the bridge for obligatory inserted Spanish terms just for the sake of being trendy with the crowds of the nowadays, because as we learned nothing these days, having a lot of Spanish in your song is apparently trendy. And Elena does nothing absolutely batshit insane on the music video (other than advertising) - no lapdance for the devil Lil Nas X style, no being forced into a bath, no person to sell her body to (not even the titular diablo), no dancers that rise out of their Christian sleep pods. Just Elena singing behind lots and lots of trash bin bag wrap.
Honestly the bigger issue for me than the song being “sAtAnIc because it is called “the DEVIL!!!”, aside from the lyrics, is that the MV does not come with any forewarning whatsoever for the people that are seizure prone when they see strobe lights? And that happens for some extended periods of this clip? I know you are indulged in your advertising and good for you but don’t just care for the companies that pay you if you use their products, do care about people’s wellbeings too, sometime.
But enough about the MV.
The song is decently sounding. It has interesting uses of what sounds like hi-hats during the verses (e.g.: a moment when this happens for the first time on the song is after Elena sings “tonight we’re gonna burn in a par-tY” the second time, and then there’s something that sounds soaring - that’s what I think that the hi-hats did.). It also has some sort of a synth piano on the second verse to boost the song’s sound rather than just relying on 808s and beats. I quite like how the chorus is so instant somehow, idk why but it is for me. Might have a gripe with that childish choir singing “I LOVE EL DIAB-LO” in the tune of standard kindergarten children teasing tune (aka ”NA NA NA BOO BOO”), as well as the constant breathing sounds, but they don’t distract me from generally “fucking” with this song, lol. It’s just that likeable imo.
I just can’t cope with the fact that Cyprus can’t seem to dare to go at least a little bit original with their song, yanno? Ever since 2019 they were called out as being a ripoff of something... hell, everyone since 2016 except Eleni was a ripoff of something. Alter Ego? “Somebody Told Me” by The Killers. Gravity? “Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man. Replay? “Fuego” itself. Running? “Lose Control”, Meduza x Becky Hill. Now we have a Lady Gaga song wannabe that even caught the attention of another singer that the music video looked like it was ripping off, and the Eurofandom caught up in hysterics:
Heads up, folks: not EVERY short haired blonde with messy hair, silvery tank top and shortpants that writhes on the floor is a Zara Larsson clone. And I don’t know who stirred controversy first - her or the fans - but this was ridiculous to see, even for me.
Although for a second I saw where they were coming from.
Now see why I want Cyprus to go original for at least once? Because I guess that the way “Fuego” was conjured up, it brought Cyprus so much success with how the package was, how Eleni sold it, and how the song sounded. You know the first thing of everything potentially going wrong for you later on is if you find the formula you’ve been looking for, but you proceed to be using the exact same formula that got you this far in the first place, without realizing what was it in the formula that you needed to bank on to further to make it click, but instead proceed to copy everything like it was an easy, fill-in-the-blank form. You can and should do better than that.
Though that doesn’t stop me from ranking it 11th this year.
Thing is, I really expected it to be the one female pop song of the year I would have the constant impulsive need to replay, replay, yeah. Ever since the chaotic entry MV drop that occured on some random-ass Cypriot TV show where three guys talked a lot (and before that, we got a cooking show), and kept growing increasingly agitated that no one is liking their show, until at some point one of them erupted in “IN TWU MEENETS... EL DIABLO... ON UR TEEVEE”; I was really devastated I couldn’t be able to break the replay button because of Panik Records deciding to rather benefit for themselves to have the MV on their app, then on Youtube, THEN on Spotify in that order. So I listened to a few video rips that I received / had for myself, and it was a fun time... until I realized the desire to play it declined much faster than I thought it would when it actually dropped on Spotify, oops. So I can’t really let myself rank it higher, when there are at least some catchier female bangers with better overall sound, better lyrics, and better multiple-replay factor. But I can’t really settle for a much lower rank for her than 11th, anyway. Girlbanger 2021 power y’all!
That and vocally she’s actually not that bad, even if she has shown up singing her song drunk in a handful of Instastories for some event of some party house, and at the time people overreacted, but I think that at least a large audience of those same people has collectively dropped their “Cyprus obvious NQ” talks come the pre-parties.
youtube
Panik Records, when will you put the yeehaw El Diablo on streaming? Now THAT’S a version that has replay value, and I might never get bored of it instead :(
Approval factor: Yeah, there exists some for me in it Follow-up factor: CyBC did one of the nastiest in terms of following up their 2020 arc of “Bring Your Artist Back for Revenge Year” that was 2021, straight up ditching Sandro probably right after Eurovision was done (well it doesn’t look like the case because CyBC published a statement later, but I sense that it might’ve been the case), because “Running” wasn’t doing so well with the “YAS QUEEN” branch of the Eurofandom. Which sucks because Sandro would’ve actually been down to be asked again for Eurovision, as he revealed it to NikkieTutorials during many of her interviews with last year’s class of. “Agreement from both parties” my ass, unless Sandro secretly realized that like Tom Leeb, he was too busy for 2021 Eurovision, which I doubt. It actually sucks imo that Sandro can probably be considered as even a forever non-returnee, because Sandro is more of German roots than Greek, and if we learned anything about the Mukuchyangate 2021, is that Germany will never send a returning artist, at least one that didn’t represent their country first and foremost. So Greece could only ask Sandro nicely only if the contest comes on to Germany, I guess? How do you think they decided on getting Stefania, who still ever so regularly appears on Dutch music, to represent them this year? So on that regard the follow-up from CyBC stinks, eventhough I think that entrywise the follow-up was rather decent, at least in the usual Cypriot way of sending female pop (going from “Replay” to “El Diablo” which I like more than “replay”), and eventhough I’m falling out of the hype for Cyprus I once used to have, their 2015-2021 entry streak had entries that I largely feel positive for overall, so in that regard, the follow up is decent. Qualification factor: In a year of Semi 1 Female Banger Slaughterhouse, Elena goes out in my eyes with several scratches, but not enough to completely kill her chances. If anything, given the divisiveness of Ireland’s rehearsals, Elena is likely to obliterate any last memory of Lesley Roy any first time viewer has ever had, except for her stage graphics. Even if Elena’s staging will not be as mindblowingly cartooney as the last, once a bop comes on, everyone forgets the slower song and gives into the bop, at least that’s how the draws work when choosing what insignificant song to put on 2nd and wedge in between the opening banger and some lesser-key banger, right? I know that “Replay” barely qualified, but I find “El Diablo” slightly better, and it all goes well, it will barely just as qualify as well. Because in a Semi 1 Female Banger Slaughterhouse, she can’t be the losing one, really.
INTERNAL CORNER
I already told everything that was noteworthy about Elena’s journey in previous sections, honestly.
• That I said that CyBC likely ditched Sandro right after cancellation just like Hooverphonic ditched “Release Me” should they have had a chance to keep or toss their entry. It doesn’t present itself as the case, but I just feel like it is.
• That the song was revealed on a Cypriot talkshow where three dudes were aware that we were waiting for “El Diablo”, trying to throw some gratuitous English our way, hating that we didn’t like our show, but promising that “El Diablo” MV will be shown in “TWU MEENETS”, which wasn’t but worth the wait eh?
• That people were cackling at Zara Larsson joining in the talks of Elena’s MV having aspects of her own song’s MV plagiarized.
• That Elena performed her song in a private-ish event when drunk and having heaps of fun and people cried that it was gonna be a NQ.
And do I really need to elaborate about the local Cypriot church scandal? It just so happened that a bunch of people read into a song’s title so much, thought it was rude of their country to sing about the devil (eventhough the bigger offenses made here is the gratuitous Spanish more than anything), and hoped that the broadcaster will disqualify the very song they okayed to be internally chosen because they are displeased with it - and if it’s not disqualified, they even threatened to burn the headquarters down. No, really. That’s like the most amusing part of that whole spectacle. Imagine burning a broadcaster headquarters down for a song... if I did it for every favourite of mine that lost to other broadcasters, the broadcasters would run out of locations to rent, because everything else good is pre-occupied or the ashes of their lost headquarters staring back at them.
Imagine being toxicly Christian in 2021... How long until Elena’s face gets photoshopped on the main protagoniste of The Unholy?
ANY LAST WORDS?
Even if I’m with this song, part of me kind of wants me to fail to make Cyprus realize that their formula is starting to wear thin and they got to be somewhat of a versatile nation in Eurovision if they want to be on the radar of not just one specific niche. But then again, they learned nothing when they flopped with Tamta, because she sneakily qualified as opposed to failing even harder than Tulia, ah well. Will they ever learn?
But why would I openly wish this to a top 11 song of mine, oh dear. Good luck Elena, may God be on your side, I guess. :P

Ever since the introduction of internet and the possibilities it offered a lot of businesses saw the potential of increasing their exposure and made themselves available online that is whenever the digital market began. With technology constantly evolving and net speeds reaching the stage they are in now it became clear that electronic economy would topple the traditional market by a great deal and become considerably better for profit. Recently the digital economy is one of the essential drivers of this economic growth in america and it's grown for about 7.2% annually for the past decade which is a rate about 4 times faster than the GDP. The development of technology has also made way for most businesses to easily boost their efficacy in many areas while having lower prices. The digital market has a few Benefits over the conventional one and those are: 1. Effective resource allocation - from the electronic world there's an choice to get an algorithm that has information on what people search on Google, exactly what they need and how they need it and it's much cheaper than paying individuals who may or might not be able to assist you sell your product. 2. Location - it isn't important where you are so long as you have an internet connection and an online presence. You may be sitting at home in your pajamas and also be able to produce millions selling services or alternative products if your online store is well promoted. 3. Faster expansion of small businesses - when you get your business online it'd roughly $20-$30 to reach an audience between 3000-4000 individuals which means it would just cost so little to make your new business known to so many individuals out there that may be interested in your product or service. Affiliate Marketing Having a site or a blog that's frequented by plenty of folks it among the better items you can have to have the ability to earn money on the internet because in case you've got one of those you can use it to put affiliate links and refer people to services to which you will earn commission. If this sounds simple it is because it's but the hard part would be to get to a site or a blog that a lot of people are reading. It involves working hard and setting up content regularly but as soon as you construct your audience you can truly enjoy the passive income and then quit your job to work from home. The way affiliate marketing works is by offering commission for those services or products sold. There are a lot of websites which have various services and products recorded and accessible, and all you have to do is register for their website and apply to be an affiliate for a product. As soon as you become approved (this typically happens quite quickly ) you will find a unique link that you will need to embed in you posts so that your audience can view it and if they buy the product or service through this link you'll find a commission for this which can be anywhere from 20% to 200% depending upon the product and the company offering it. Make sure you consult your readers to products and services you really think are worth their trouble because in the event that you refer them to something mediocre you might begin losing your audience and your online income will take a hit. Do your homework before applying for any agency to make sure that you're an affiliate of something great and you will proudly introduce it to your own readers. There are quite a few companies that realized the potential in supplying affiliate solutions on their own without using one of the websites above and they implemented a choice in which you deal with the provider directly. ECommerce Business ECommerce is a very fast growing business people can use to take advantage of the growth of digital economy and make money online. This method also involves working in the home and eventually it can be turned into a passive income stream that will only need maintaining rather than constant working and enormous work. The model for eCommerce businesses begins picking a market and character. It must be inside the niche you picked and fit the character you opted to represent. It is ideal to begin with only 1 product rather than many because it may get messy if the orders start coming and you can't pay the costs straight away. There could be issues with shipping and returns which is actually difficult for recently made websites. Once you've established a good profit margin for a single product you can expand and discover out what is selling like mad so that you can place this up on your page for your customers to buy. It is pretty simple model but the eCommerce marketplace today is highly competitive and it's not easy to compete with websites that are already well recognized and trusted by customers. However, it is still among the simplest and most effective ways to make real income online using the increase of digital market. Coaching and Consulting Take Advantage Of The Many Apps Available Apps that are on your smart devices are not only for fun and games. There are several programs that have the potential to make you a good deal of money if you are really devoted to becoming part of the digital economy and earn money on the internet. There are just a few apps available you could use to discover a coaching or a consulting project and one of those is your Task Rabbit. Task Rabbit A very easy app to use that can make you some extra cash. Clients post jobs on the app and you may apply for anything posted on there. To discover a consulting or a coaching job you simply have to search their database of jobs posted and see if there's anything available at the moment. You can even try other similar programs and not only stick to this one. Use Money Making Websites One of the better ways to join the digital economy and make money on the internet is to use the sites available to everybody for making active and passive income. Some of the websites that are set up can be employed to sell digital goods like layouts for apparel but can also be used for consulting and training services. Fundamentally the websites we are putting in this class are the ones which focus their attention on long term working relationships with freelancers in different niche areas such as photography, layout, content generation, online marketing, consulting and coaching. A few of the sites available on the internet are the following. Upwork An wonderful marketplace for freelancers to find a part time or even a complete time occupation. It's great for selling any kind of digital service that you could imagine. No need for making your own site or a special merchant accounts. If your ceremony is top-notch along with your knowledge in the area you are working in is exemplary you've got nothing to worry about. The only downside might be that there's a great deal of competition and you're going to have to"struggle" to find a job but apart from that it's an wonderful place you may make money online which can readily turn into passive income. Fiverr Another similar site to Upwork but on this one you are posting what you can do for a certain amount while the minimal sum is $5. So if you're searching for training clients you are able to post a gig that will let people know you are available for training sessions for an x amount of money and people who are searching for something such as that will be able to realize your gig and hire you to be their trainer. Here's a link where you can sign up for Fiverr. Conclusion The digital market is a really fast growing economy compared to conventional one and we must all benefit from this opportunity it gives. The 3 simple and effective ways we present above are the ones which work best for building your passive income and while affiliate marketing is listed first and it's the best option, eCommerce and supplying consulting and coaching services are shut seconds. Picking any of the three ways, or just a mixture of them all is something that everyone who has a little knowledge and is tough should do. It has never been easier to go online and start your own small business when sitting on your couch and work from home.

A Bold New Idea to Boost Wages
The challenges are well known: Working Americans are struggling to keep up with the increasing cost of living. Unemployment is low, but wages of most Americans have remained flat. More than three-quarters of Americans are now living paycheck to paycheck. Most can’t afford a $500 emergency.
There’s a simple and bold solution that would cost about as much as the Trump tax cut. But instead of helping corporations and the rich, it would help millions of working and middle-class Americans by putting money directly in their pockets.
I’m talking about expanding something called the Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC. And although it’s been around for decades, it can be the basis of a revolutionary change in the lives of millions of people.
As it now stands, the EITC gives thousands of dollars to the working poor, with the amount of money they receive gradually decreasing as their earnings rise until they reach a cap, which is now a little over $50,000.
It works so well because it directly boosts the incomes of people who need it the most. Cash gives people freedom and dignity— the power to decide, for example, whether to have their car repaired or buy new shoes for their kids or save for a rainy day.
When working people have money to spend, they spend most of it in the communities they live in. This, in turn, causes businesses to hire more people to meet the demand. It’s a virtuous cycle that lessens poverty, makes the tax code fairer, and boosts the overall economy.
A bold new idea would be to expand this successful program in 4 simple ways:
First: Raise the maximum amount that very poor Americans receive from the Earned Income Tax Credit by several thousand dollars. This would dramatically reduce poverty in all families with someone who works full time.
Right now, a job at a $15 minimum wage plus Medicaid and food stamps still doesn’t meet basic needs in much of America. Raising the Earned Income Tax Credit would ensure that every family with a full-time worker is out of poverty.
Second: Extend the Earned Income Tax Credit into the middle class, so even families earning the median family income – which was just about $76,000 in 2017 -- will benefit. This would be a huge help to working-class families, many of whom are now one paycheck away from poverty.
Third: Expand the benefits of the Earned Income Tax Credit to two groups of Americans who are working hard, but not necessarily collecting paychecks: people (most of whom are women) who are caring for a child or for a senior in their family, and low-income students.
Fourth: Let people receive this money each month rather than in a lump-sum once a year at tax time, so it helps with monthly expenses – rent, food, education – or can be saved to build a financial cushion.
Presto. We create a kind of cost-of-living refund to lift the incomes of a third of Americans, the people who need it most, and we also include the working class and lower middle class.
At the same time, we begin to rewrite the tax code in favor of ordinary Americans, instead of large corporations and the wealthy.
Eighty-three percent of the benefits of the Trump tax cuts will go to the top 1 percent of Americans by 2027. Expanding and modernizing the Earned Income Tax Credit can help put things back in balance.
It’s simple. It’s fair. It’s necessary. It’s big and bold. Enlarge and expand the Earned Income Tax Credit.

If you were President of the U.S., what would you do? I would give the U.S. more economic freedom similar to most European countries (we're #17 for God's sakes), end the War On Drugs, end corporate welfare and lobbying, make victimless crimes a thing of the past, make our healthcare system similar to that of France, and millions more things that I can't mention XD Basically make our government smaller (not too small mind you) and try to mimic other countries like we should be doing.
Oh geez – pressure! Um…well, as I’ve said to you previously, I would never, ever want to be a politician, let alone president. I don’t have the expertise needed, and I don’t have the temperament for it either. But in a highly hypothetical scenario, my interests would be:
+Taxing corporations. Sorry, if they’re considered “people” according to the Supreme Court (and, believe me, if I had the power to shape the courts, I would deal with that ruling forth-with) and they can put so much money into our election process (which, again, I’d have something to say about), they need to pay taxes like people do. And closing loopholes to keep their profits in the U.S. would be a good idea too.
+Raising taxes on the 1%. No one should have as much money as those people do, when there are so many other people who can’t afford to make ends meet. Capitalism may be our system, but many of the people who have that much money didn’t earn it – they oftentimes inherited a good portion of it, meaning they didn’t put in the work needed to justify it. And our society needs the funds to take care of all of its citizens, the 1% included, and those 1% have the money needed to fund such projects – infrastructure, military spending, health care, national parks – those are things that help everyone. There’s no reason to squeeze blood out of a stone by trying to get our funding mainly through middle-class and working-class people…not when the wealthiest among us aren’t even paying tax rates close to what they were paying in the 1950′s (you know, when the middle class was booming?).
+Championing LGBT rights, most significantly adding LGBT protections to the Civil Rights Act so that it is a federal crime to show prejudice against someone for their sexual orientation or gender identity
+Tying the minimum wage country-wide to the cost of living, making it automatically rise to keep up with any changes to the economy. That way it doesn’t have to be voted on over and over and over and it doesn’t become outdated.
+Working with the Food and Drug Administration to develop new programs meant to better regulate pharmaceuticals and help fund professional, government-funded drug treatment centers, so as to put an end to for-profit drug rehab centers that require no certification.
+Working with the Department of Education to develop new programs specifically designed to help struggling college students with their finances: namely, to help reduce the amount of loans theyll have to take out, give them a path toward paying them back effectively, assist with financial aid, and even provide complete learning materials online to save on the cost of expensive textbooks. Also, creating new federal standards for sex education in public schools, so as to help lower teen pregnancy rates.
+Creating a public option for health care, which would be the equivalent of our public school system: something both easily affordable and accessible that provides everything one needs to be healthy, while health care businesses pick up the slack with “plusher” options. This would make it so, like with our schooling, everyone has access to health care, no ifs, ands, or buts.
+Funding infrastructure and housing projects, which would not only help with creating jobs and boosting our economy, but would help us invest in our future.
+Providing a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants and Dreamers.
+Proposing an amendment abolishing the Electoral College, so that elections are only determined by the popular vote. The system is beyond outdated and it has been used several times now to give the loser of an election the presidency he didn’t earn.
+Advocating for term limits for Congressmen and Senators. If we need to check the president, we must also check people in Congress the same way. And while we’re on the subject, adjusting the privileges members of Congress receive. If the government is shut down, those members of Congress should not get paid, any more than other government employees do. They should receive no better health care benefits than their constituents – otherwise, how can they dare have a leg to stand on complaining about the practicality of government health care, when they’re all on government health care?
+Accept refugees from foreign countries seeking asylum, regardless of where they’re from.
+De-escalating our military endeavors and favoring a more diplomat-centric course for foreign policy. We have more than enough expenditures to take care of at home: a good chunk of our ridiculously sized military budget should be spent on dealing with issues at home. We can take care of security without wasting so much – we spend more on our military than China, Russia, the U.K., India, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and France, combined. No one country needs to waste that much money, particularly if we disentangle ourselves from many of the military conflicts we’ve crammed ourselves into. If we must use military force, we must do it intelligently and in conjunction with our foreign allies.
+Appointing a new task force within the VA specifically targeted on updating the system we use to keep track of veterans and their benefits.
+Regulating guns nation-wide. My ideal goal would be a licensing system not unlike what we have for cars, as well as regulation on who can legally sell firearms and what kind. NO ONE IN THIS COUNTRY NEEDS AN AK-47, I’m sorry.
+Working with the FEC on voting reforms, such as online voting, which would help working-class people (many of whom must work on federal holidays) vote more easily. I would also want to create new guidelines regarding felony disenfranchisement, making it so those convicted of non-violent felonies would be able to vote again once their sentence is completed, as well as investigate ways to help homeless Americans exercise their right to vote. I can speak from first-hand experience that when you’re homeless, voting is very difficult, because you don’t have an address that anyone can send ballots to. Many homeless people use the shelters they stay in as an address, but those shelters are only accessible to people who aren’t working: if you’re working and homeless, you’re basically stuck in this horrible no-man’s land where you make too much to live in a shelter, but are too poor to afford your own place. Because you have no address, you basically don’t exist to the government, and that means you have no one who will speak up for your interests, not only because your voice has been silenced, but because the world makes you think you don’t matter. This doesn’t even touch the issue of transportation that many homeless people face. It would definitely take some investigation into how to deal with this, but there are many people in this country who deserve to be able to speak for themselves that can’t, all because of their bad fortune.
+Offering statehood or (in the cases of those territories that we acquired through colonialism) national freedom to Washington, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the Virgin Islands. The second-class status they’re in is just not fair by any metric. They either deserve full representation in our government, or they deserve the ability to represent themselves. They deserve the right to vote for their leaders. They deserve a healthy economy. They deserve access to good health care and services, and they deserve to be treated as the U.S. citizens they are. If we can’t give them that, and/or those territories are done with waiting for us to give them that, then we don’t have any right to continue taking advantage of them. For D.C. in particular, the people who live there deserve a government outside of federal lawmakers to help them deal with local issues: a government with lawmakers they choose, rather than are foisted upon them.
Wow, that got longer than I expected…but a lot of things just came to mind. I would not have interest in making government smaller, exactly, but I would be very interested in bringing more people on board to not only introduce fresh ideas, but also to help us tackle the astounding workload we have to deal with regarding these issues. We need fresh minds and expert hands, ready to work hard. Naturally we wouldn’t want to completely put our heads in the sand in regards to foreign policy, but we would still want to put more focus on being the best country we can be, so that we can better help others. If our country is prosperous, then it gives us more leverage and power in promoting prosperity elsewhere. If we’re united, then we will more easily be able to stand against injustices abroad. If we take care of our own people, then we can more easily provide aid to other countries.
As I said, though, I have no interest in being a politician and I profess no great expertise in any of these matters, so one can take all of this with a grain of salt. This is just one American citizen’s flight of fancy in response to a friend’s question.

FML: Why millennials are facing the scariest financial future of any generation since the Great Depression.
Huffington Post Highline
Part II
What Scott remembers are the group interviews.
Eight, 10 people in suits, a circle of folding chairs, a chirpy HR rep with a clipboard. Each applicant telling her, one by one, in front of all the others, why he's the right candidate for this $11-an-hour job as a bank teller.
It was 2010, and Scott had just graduated from college with a bachelor’s in economics, a minor in business and $30,000 in student debt. At some of the interviews he was by far the least qualified person in the room. The other applicants described their corporate jobs and listed off graduate degrees. Some looked like they were in their 50s. “One time the HR rep told us she did these three times a week,” Scott says. “And I just knew I was never going to get a job.”
After six months of applying and interviewing and never hearing back, Scott returned to his high school job at The Old Spaghetti Factory. After that he bounced around—selling suits at a Nordstrom outlet, cleaning carpets, waiting tables—until he learned that city bus drivers earn $22 an hour and get full benefits. He’s been doing that for a year now. It’s the most money he’s ever made. He still lives at home, chipping in a few hundred bucks every month to help his mom pay the rent.
In theory, Scott could apply for banking jobs again. But his degree is almost eight years old and he has no relevant experience. He sometimes considers getting a master’s, but that would mean walking away from his salary and benefits for two years and taking on another five digits of debt—just to snag an entry-level position, at the age of 30, that would pay less than he makes driving a bus. At his current job, he’ll be able to move out in six months. And pay off his student loans in 20 years.
There are millions of Scotts in the modern economy. “A lot of workers were just 18 at the wrong time,” says William Spriggs, an economics professor at Howard University and an assistant secretary for policy at the Department of Labor in the Obama administration. “Employers didn’t say, ‘Oops, we missed a generation. In 2008 we weren’t hiring graduates, let’s hire all the people we passed over.’ No, they hired the class of 2012.”
You can even see this in the statistics, a divot from 2008 to 2012 where millions of jobs and billions in earnings should be. In 2007, more than 50 percent of college graduates had a job offer lined up. For the class of 2009, fewer than 20 percent of them did. According to a 2010 study, every 1 percent uptick in the unemployment rate the year you graduate college means a 6 to 8 percent drop in your starting salary—a disadvantage that can linger for decades. The same study found that workers who graduated during the 1981 recession were still making less than their counterparts who graduated 10 years later. “Every recession,” Spriggs says, “creates these cohorts that never recover.”
By now, those unlucky millennials who graduated at the wrong time have cascaded downward through the economy. Some estimates show that 48 percent of workers with bachelor’s degrees are employed in jobs for which they’re overqualified. A university diploma has practically become a prerequisite for even the lowest-paying positions, just another piece of paper to flash in front of the hiring manager at Quiznos.
But the real victims of this credential inflation are the two-thirds of millennials who didn’t go to college. Since 2010, the economy has added 11.6 million jobs—and 11.5 million of them have gone to workers with at least some college education. In 2016, young workers with a high school diploma had roughly triple the unemployment rate and three and a half times the poverty rate of college grads.
Once you start tracing these trends backward, the recession starts to look less like a temporary setback and more like a culmination. Over the last 40 years, as politicians and parents and perky magazine listicles have been telling us to study hard and build our personal brands, the entire economy has transformed beneath us.
BOOMER: 306
MILLENNIAL: 4,459
Hours of minimum wage work needed to pay for four years of public college
For decades, most of the job growth in America has been in low-wage, low-skilled, temporary and short-term jobs. The United States simply produces fewer and fewer of the kinds of jobs our parents had. This explains why the rates of “under-employment” among high school and college grads were rising steadily long before the recession. “The way to think about it,” says Jacob Hacker, a Yale political scientist and author of The Great Risk Shift, “is that there are waves in the economy, but the tide has been going out for a long time.”
The decline of the job has its primary origins in the 1970s, with a million little changes the boomers barely noticed. The Federal Reserve cracked down on inflation. Companies started paying executives in stock options. Pension funds invested in riskier assets. The cumulative result was money pouring into the stock market like jet fuel. Between 1960 and 2013, the average time that investors held stocks before flipping them went from eight years to around four months. Over roughly the same period, the financial sector became a sarlacc pit encompassing around a quarter of all corporate profits and completely warping companies’ incentives.
The pressure to deliver immediate returns became relentless. When stocks were long-term investments, shareholders let CEOs spend money on things like worker benefits because they contributed to the company’s long-term health. Once investors lost the ability to look beyond the next earnings report, however, any move that didn’t boost short-term profits was tantamount to treason.
The new paradigm took over corporate America. Private equity firms and commercial banks took corporations off the market, laid off or outsourced workers, then sold the businesses back to investors. In the 1980s alone, a quarter of the companies in the Fortune 500 were restructured. Companies were no longer single entities with responsibilities to their workers, retirees or communities.
They were Lego castles, clusters of distinct modules that could be separated, optimized, sold off and put back together.
Businesses applied the same chop-shop logic to their own operations. Executives came to see themselves as first and foremost in the shareholder-pleasing game. Higher staff salaries became luxuries to be slashed. Unions, the great negotiators of wages and benefits and the guarantors of severance pay, became enemy combatants. And eventually, employees themselves became liabilities. “Corporations decided that the fastest way to a higher stock price was hiring part-time workers, lowering wages and turning their existing employees into contractors,” says Rosemary Batt, a Cornell University economist.
Thirty years ago, she says, you could walk into any hotel in America and everyone in the building, from the cleaners to the security guards to the bartenders, was a direct hire, each worker on the same pay scale and enjoying the same benefits as everyone else. Today, they’re almost all indirect hires, employees of random, anonymous contracting companies: Laundry Inc., Rent-A-Guard Inc., Watery Margarita Inc. In 2015, the Government Accountability Office estimated that 40 percent of American workers were employed under some sort of “contingent” arrangement like this—from barbers to midwives to nuclear waste inspectors to symphony cellists. Since the downturn, the industry that has added the most jobs is not tech or retail or nursing. It is “temporary help services”—all the small, no-brand contractors who recruit workers and rent them out to bigger companies.
The effect of all this “domestic outsourcing”—and, let’s be honest, its actual purpose—is that workers get a lot less out of their jobs than they used to. One of Batt’s papers found that employees lose up to 40 percent of their salary when they’re “re-classified” as contractors. In 2013, the city of Memphis reportedly cut wages from $15 an hour to $10 after it fired its school bus drivers and forced them to reapply through a staffing agency. Some Walmart “lumpers,” the warehouse workers who carry boxes from trucks to shelves, have to show up every morning but only get paid if there’s enough work for them that day.
“This is what’s really driving wage inequality,” says David Weil, the former head of the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor and the author of The Fissured Workplace. “By shifting tasks to contractors, companies pay a price for a service rather than wages for work. That means they don’t have to think about training, career advancement or benefit provision.”
This transformation is affecting the entire economy, but millennials are on its front lines. Where previous generations were able to amass years of solid experience and income in the old economy, many of us will spend our entire working lives intermittently employed in the new one. We’ll get less training and fewer opportunities to negotiate benefits through unions (which used to cover 1 in 3 workers and are now down to around 1 in 10). Plus, as Uber and its “gig economy” ilk perfect their algorithms, we’ll be increasingly at the mercy of companies that only want to pay us for the time we’re generating revenue and not a second more.

Significant COVID-19 Impact on the Tele-Dentistry in Healthcare Industry
COVID-19 Impact on the Tele-Dentistry in Healthcare Industry
PRICE IMPACT
The COVID-19 had a devastating impact on the global economy. Several establishments have to remain shut while others to scale down the operations or put on hold expansion plans as they tried to survive the unprecedented crisis. Despite the current crisis, the healthcare issue in the country continues to reel under the positive impact of COVID-19. There has been a significant rise in both, in-patient and out-patient footfall for some hospital chains as is it a single specialty, multi-specialty, private hospitals, tertiary-care hospitals or even diagnostics businesses, during this lockdown. Among all, the tele-dentistry is the remote facilitating way of dental treatment via information technology rather than face to face contact. Thus, tele-dentistry is complementing the existing compromised dental system during the on-going pandemic. With the help of simple tools such as smartphone and laptop webcams, dentists can provide vulnerable services to dental patients’ safety in their home thereby eliminating the risk of infection.
The price is not impacted significantly as several entities are continuing to conduct the tele-dentistry treatments for dental patient. Additionally, during COVID-19, tele-dentistry is proven to be a useful tool to evaluate the urgent basis patient’s requirements and measure the severity of the conditions with the help of technology.
IMPACT ON DEMAND
The demand for tele-dentistry amid pandemic has witness a significant growth. The valuable benefits offers by the tele-dentistry includes increased safety of the patients as physically dental practices is risky for patients, it also added revenue for the doctors providing services and virtual appointments which help them making money and incased access to care in rural areas as it can be a useful tool to help citizens of less populated and under developed regions across oral health services. Additionally, senior citizens (over age 60) who contracted COVID-19 are at a greater risk for health complications, illness or even death.
For instance,
According to dental economics, the studies states that Americans across the U.S. over the last years seen a large number of older patients seeking dentals services. Hence, tele-dentistry can help pre-screen the patients’ health for symptoms. The demand will likely to boost in forecasted timeframe as it also reduce waiting time and reduce one source of potential contamination to the patient. The cost of tele-dentistry is also lower and a person getting quality care in this concept will definitely admire it. The virtual appointment with the doctors for health checkup makes it an exciting concept for a person and his family. Thus, the overall high demand is expected for the tele-dentistry in a forecasted timeframe.
IMPACT ON SUPPLY CHAIN
The tele-dentistry being conducted with the help of information technology and telecommunications is not likely to be affected for their services facilities amid current pandemic. In fact, it is complicating the scenario and helps in maintaining social distancing norms. The patients can seek the treatment from their home shelter and helps in preventing themselves from the virus spread. The tactics to deliver virtual health and educational services is not impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, it helps in enhancement of education and delivery to their patients. Furthermore, the tele-dentistry can connect private practices with outreach programs that are also engaged in social responsibility.
For instance,
According to Dental + Dso review, United healthcare dental launches new tele-dentistry platform in June, 2020 to help dentist in providing the virtual care to the patients amid pandemic and reduce the preventable emergency room visit that will further control the spread of the virus. Additionally, it would offer 50 percent premium reduction in July for the employers and will enhanced provider payment through the end of 2020. So the overwhelming support for tele-dentistry is getting from the organizations and the companies functioning in tele-dentistry services will let negatively impact on the growth of these services during ongoing pandemic.
STRATEGIC DECISIONS FOR MANUFACTURERS
The key players engaged in tele-dentistry services are making appropriate changes to meet the demand of the services during coronavirus. The innovative companies of tele-dentistry such as Smile Direct Club, Candid, Invisalign, Snow and many others offer remote teeth straightening and teeth whitenning solutions. The major focus of companies is to provide millions of people get affordable and easy access to high-quality dental care. The increase in demand for tele-dentistry appointments will lead to higher deals for them amid pandemic. Additionally, the industry will also remain unaffected by impending recession as the access to personal appointment will be easy for the people in today’s digital world. However, in rural and undeveloped areas, the manufacturers may face difficulty as there is lack of internet access and technical support. And there is a chance, that some people find technology too complex. Lastly, the lack of taxation guidelines and reimbursement structures can lead to malpractice and legal problems for professional adopting the concept and putting it into practice.
CONCLUSION
The demand for tele-dentistry is expected to see significant growth in the coming months and amid pandemic. Additionally, the long term demand will also stay unaltered due to the benefits of tele-dentistry. In the COVID-19 era, the importance of safety against the infectious pandemic boosts the dental care and concern among patients. Moreover, the tele-dentistry conducts oral health classes for patients and utilized the best of video conferencing tools to offer smoking cessation counseling, as people addicted to smoking or lend disorders are susceptible to get infected from the virus. Hence, the tele-dentistry market is growing despite of COVID-19 devastations. And if implemented correctly, the tele-dentistry has a potential to be a complete game changer as it can give dental access to people who wouldn’t otherwise have it. So, with its various benefits for dentists and as well as patients, the tele-dentistry is on the significant rise level amid pandemic and becoming the most proper and easily accessible health services in dental field globally.

Factors That should Guide Investors

Factors That should Guide Investors
An investor is a person or organization that puts money into financial schemes, property, etc. with the expectation of achieving a profit.
Investors play a major and vital role in the success and growth of a company. Because of that fact, it’s of the utmost importance for companies to maintain strong, transparent relationships with investors. This is where the investor relations department of a company comes into play.
There are three types of investors: pre-investor, passive investor, and active investor. In the next investment article i will define these three type of investors.. however each of the category means alot to an economy.
Who is the top investor? Warren Buffett is widely considered to be the most successful investor in history. Not only is he one of the richest men in the world, but he also has had the financial ear of numerous presidents and world leaders. When Buffett talks, world markets move based on his words.
What is a fair percentage for an investor? Angel investors typically want from 20 to 25 percent return on the money they invest in your company. Venture capitalists may take even more; if the product is still in development, for example, an investor may want 40 percent of the business to compensate for the high risk it is taking.
Meanwhile lets change the tune of the topic. Lets take into account endogenous economic and financial healing, long-awaited policy breakthroughs and bigger liquidity waves.
If you are adding to your long-term holdings of stocks and other risk assets at current market valuations, you are likely to be betting, knowingly or not on a combination of three drivers of future returns; or you are planning to sell your holdings to someone who is or will be making that bet.
Understanding the importance of these three scenarios, both in relative and absolute terms, indicates not only the probability of being right over time, but also the tilts you should be applying to your current “risk-on” portfolio positioning.
One of the main analytical challenges facing investors in today’s unusually fluid world, and there are many, is deconstructing the potential drivers of overall market returns into a small number of actionable and verifiable hypotheses.
That means specifying a “reduced-form” equation in which just a handful of explanatory variables identify the conditions under which risk-on investors will continue to be richly rewarded.
One such specification involves following three scenarios that, importantly, need not be mutually exclusive: endogenous economic and financial healing, long-awaited policy breakthroughs and bigger liquidity waves.
With the synchronized pick-up in growth, the global economy continues to heal as improvements in Europe, Asia and the emerging world compound trends in the U.S.
This helps boost actual economic activity, through higher investment and consumption, while partially reducing the downward pressure on potential growth, lowering concerns about elevated asset prices and enhancing the scope for the orderly normalization of the unconventional monetary policies by the Fed and other systemically-important central banks.
In this first scenario, investors would benefit from being long market indices, and from also concentrating specific company or country bets to situations where there is an overwhelming case for narrow idiosyncratic influences.
Under those circumstances, low-cost passive products investing in large public markets will continue to do well.
This gradual healing process can be turbocharged by a meaningful step-up in policies aimed at reducing structural impediments to growth, striking a better balance between monetary and fiscal expansion, lifting pockets of crushing debt burdens and improving global policy coordination.
In this scenario, the probability of such policy breakthroughs would increase, though it is far from assured.
In this second scenario, risk-on portfolio positioning benefits from a much bigger layer of active investment management, including one that incorporates a careful identification of the winners and losers from policy actions.
This is particularly important when it comes to tax reform, infrastructure, debt reduction, and the balance between new regulation and the relaxation of old regulation.
The third and final scenario in this reduced-form analytical approach is driven by liquidity considerations.
Here, the continuous injection of funds into the marketplace by central banks and from the cash-rich balance sheets of highly profitable firms continues to make its way to financial assets in almost all corners of the world.
The ability to gain responsive portfolio exposures is enhanced by the proliferation of both passive and active vehicles that offer dedicated and crossover investors the ability to sell volatility and liquidity in a growing universe for both public and private markets.
This last driver has an interesting twist: ample liquidity that entices investors to become increasingly exposed to historically illiquid asset class segments.
It is a tug-of-war that, rather than be addressed through tactical portfolio positioning, requires at least one of the other two hypotheses to also be meaningfully in play.
Then there is the manner in which all of these hypotheses relate to what markets have already priced in.
Today’s absolute and relative valuations of asset classes would suggest that investors seem to be strongly expecting at least two if not all of these factors to be in play.
And they have been happily betting on this outcome for a while, despite repeated delays in the materialization of these conditions.

Four Factors to Think About Diesel Power in Your Following Cars and truck | Bay Area on site refueling
Did you recognize that diesel autos currently represent more than half of brand-new automobile registrations in Britain? Diesel car modern technology has actually progressed enormously over the past years. Today's diesel autos are tidy, silent, and also refined sufficient for any driver. In addition, they provide wonderful gas economic climate, environmental advantages, as well as all the engine power you can desire. Let's have a look at some of the factors to purchase a cars and truck that runs on diesel power.
Gas Financial savings
Conserving cash on fuel is one of the leading factors to purchase a car with a diesel motor. A diesel auto provides 25-30 percent better fuel economy than an equivalent petroleum vehicle, which means a great deal much less of your cash will go towards fuelling up weekly. Over the future, the cost savings will certainly be substantial. Even if gasoline sets you back a little more than fuel, you are still spending much less in total amount. Gasoline would certainly need to be 25-30 percent more expensive than petrol at the pump before it lost its price advantage and also you would no longer be saving cash.
Bay Area on site refueling
You will pay a little a lot more ahead of time for a diesel automobile, it holds true. The diesel motor includes concerning one thousand pounds to the expense of the vehicle. Nonetheless, the cash you minimize gas will certainly make up for the additional expense in just a year or two, and also the expense savings you obtain from diesel will proceed for as lengthy as you possess the cars and truck.
Contrary to what some people believe, you do not need to purchase a tiny cars and truck to conserve cash on gas. You additionally don't require to jeopardize on power, efficiency, or features. There are fuel-efficient diesel vehicles in all dimension classes. There's absolutely nothing incorrect with picking the kind of car that matches your needs. If you desire a bigger auto or an SUV for towing, go on as well as acquire one. You can still save approximately 30 percent on gas expenses contrasted to a vehicle that runs on gas.
Ecological Benefits
Some vehicle drivers are stressed over greenhouse gases and also air pollution, and also they want to have a cars and truck that is less damaging to the atmosphere. The most recent diesel automobiles can be considered "green" cars for a couple of factors: gas effectiveness and also minimized automobile emissions.
Gasoline has a lot more power than petroleum, so autos running on diesel power get even more miles per gallon of gas. Since less fuel is made use of to travel an equal range, diesel automobiles produce fewer CARBON DIOXIDE discharges and also have much less impact on international warming.
Diesel automobiles utilized to be viewed as large polluters, yet the modern-day diesel car comes with lots of gadgets to decrease or get rid of harmful discharges that contribute to air contamination and smoke. Diesels are fitted with special catalytic converters, filters, as well as various other technologies to lower the amount of particulates (residue) and NOx that are launched into the environment. Because of this, today's diesel cars create far less hazardous exhausts than older diesels did.
Are diesel automobiles greener than gas autos? When it involves automobile discharges, there is no clear winner. A diesel car puts out a little extra NOx and also particulates than a petrol vehicle. On the other hand, diesels release 15-20 percent much less CARBON DIOXIDE than petrol cars and trucks.
The means it works out, diesels usually contribute even more to regional pollution and also much less to global warming than gas vehicles do. Bear in mind that as lorry modern technology continues to create, diesel automobiles make sure to become even cleaner in the future.
Durability
Engines that run on diesel power are difficult and sturdy. The typical diesel engine is developed more ruggedly than a gasoline engine because it must stand up to the anxieties of higher compression as well as greater explosive forces throughout the burning cycle. Consequently, the diesel motor will certainly run a lot longer than a gas engine before it requires major repair work.
There are a few Mercedes-Benz automobiles out there that hold the record for life span, with over 900,000 miles on the initial diesel engines. You possibly don't anticipate that kind of longevity from your own vehicle, yet it's nice to recognize that your cars and truck's diesel motor might probably run for 250,000 miles, if you preserve it correctly.
Diesels preserve their value well, as a result of their integrity as well as extended life expectancy. You might remain in no hurry to do away with your cars and truck, yet when the time involves sell it or trade it in, you'll locate that you can get an excellent cost for your utilized diesel.
Diesel cars may be developed to last, however they are picky concerning routine servicing. Somehow, maintenance demands for diesel cars are easier than for petroleum autos. For instance, due to the fact that diesel motor don't use spark plugs, they don't require ignition tune-ups. Nevertheless, regular maintenance is much more crucial for diesel cars and trucks. You need to transform the oil on schedule, change the oil, air, and also fuel filters regularly, and do various other jobs as specified in the proprietor's guidebook. You can't afford to be careless about a diesel cars and truck's maintenance or it might lead to disaster.
Efficiency
Driving efficiency is an additional factor to buy a diesel vehicle. Diesels generate more torque than petrol engines, because of the means they burn gas. Superior torque, specifically at low rpm, provides the diesel car a solid, effective feeling as well as fast velocity from a standing beginning. Diesel automobiles as well as vehicles are likewise fantastic for hauling hefty loads, thanks to all that torque. You'll get even more lugging power from a diesel lorry than a gas lorry with a similar engine.
Engines are reasonably efficient simply the way they come out of the factory. However most engines have been de-tuned, that is, tuned to a lower degree of power than they are capable of generating. This implies that you can obtain extra power and also boosted performance from a diesel motor simply by tuning it appropriately. The most convenient method to do this is to remap the settings in the ECU (engine control system) to maximize diesel power outcome.
Remapping the ECU will certainly create a prompt increase in horse power and also torque. Equally important, the distribution of power will certainly be improved. You'll notice that the auto is extra receptive and also fun to drive, with faster throttle action, smoother acceleration, and no engine lag. Remarkably, tuning the engine for optimum power output can provide you both boosted efficiency and also far better fuel economic climate.
That Should Not Get a Diesel-Powered Automobile
Diesel autos as well as vehicles have a great deal of benefits, but there are some individuals that most likely should not own one. For example, if you don't do a lot of driving, you won't see much in the means of fuel cost savings. As well as if you tend to postpone taking your cars and truck to the garage for set up maintenance, you may be better off with a petrol automobile, which can be more flexible of such lapses.
Diesel automobiles have been a feasible alternative to gas vehicles for a long time, as well as the innovation is enhancing each year. Some individuals get diesels to save money on gas or to do their little bit for the setting. Others get them just for the large enjoyable of driving a stylish, effective car. Whether you're shopping for a brand-new or secondhand vehicle, make sure to think about the advantages of diesel power in your next vehicle.

Now, we aren’t just talking about what the Ram can do for you but also what you can do for your Ram in terms of upgrades. Whether you need it for work or want it for play, a pickup such as the Ram 2500 opens doors to freedom that other vehicles just cannot provide. For a little inspiration and to help you get started, we have compiled the below list outlining the top five best mods for your truck. Of course the aftermarket has hundreds upon hundreds of options, but we’d like to provide you with a starting point for the inevitable mod bug.
#1 Floor/Bed Liners
Regardless of if it’s for work or play, your Ram 2500 is an investment. That being said, you’ll want to keep it as nice as possible and take preventative measures to avoid damage and unnecessary repairs. The daily grind of mud, water, snow, spills, crumbs, and dirty shoes, can take quite the toll on a car’s carpeting, making the cabin look dingy and ultimately lowering its resale value.
One of the first things you can do is purchase a set of floor mats/liners for your cabin and even for your truck bed too. A quality set of floor liners will perfectly match the contours of your truck and deliver indestructible strength together with comfortability. You may be wondering what the difference is between floor mats and floor liners. The main difference is their respective price and effectiveness. Liners typically fit the floor area of a truck better than a mat will (with rims and ridges) and can hold up better to spills, stains, and burns. Liners are also usually made from thicker and more durable material, which can also make them harder to remove and clean.
No matter how careful you may try to be, without a protective layer, your truck bed will experience scratches, dents, and dings. Even if your steel truck bed is galvanized, corrosion can occur once you get through that top layer. Bed liners are a great purchase because they protect your truck and ultimately provide an ultra-truck work surface for all your gear. Most quality bed liners boast stain and water resistance, and can hold up to sand, dirt, oil, and even battery acid! If you are looking for additional coverage, you may want to look into a liner for your tailgate as well.

#2 Lift/Leveling Kit
One of the most popular and best off-road modifications to do on a truck is to upgrade its suspension. After all, trucks are intended to be high and if your Ram 2500 isn’t tall enough for your taste or needs, there are options out there. If you are looking to take your heavy-duty pickup to the next level, look into getting a lift kit or leveling kit. Not only will these kits provide some added ground clearance, but they will also improve your truck’s overall appearance and improve its breakover, approach, and departure angle. When deciding between the two kits, it’s important to think about what type of driving you do and where you plan on going. Once you have that in mind, you can choose the better package and lift size intended for that usage.
You may have noticed that a truck’s rear sits higher than the front end. The reason for this is to prevent sagging when extra weight is loaded into the bed of the truck. When you are not hauling heavy loads, however, the truck can appear to look somewhat uneven. A simple fix for this is installing a leveling kit. Leveling kits let you raise the front end of your Ram just a few inches so that it is “level” with the rear. While leveling kits tend to be used more for appearance purposes, they can provide some additional ground clearance as well – but only about one or two inches of lift. Most leveling kits also retain your Ram 2500’s factory ride quality and are pretty affordable, making them a great value for the price.
The purpose of a lift kit, on the other hand, is to provide better visibility, increased height, improved off-road performance, and more ground clearance. While lift kits are more expensive than leveling kits, they also offer greater benefits. With a lift kit, you can fit bigger wheels and tires while still maintaining a quality ride and factory steering. It’s important to remember, however, that the higher you go, the higher the center of gravity will be. Such can cause stability issues and making driving at highway speeds or taking sharp turns more dangerous. If you are looking to attack some rough roads and take your rig off the beaten path, a lift kit would be more up your alley. However, if you are just looking to balance out the look of your truck, then a leveling kit is an easier and more affordable alternative.

#3 Cold Air Intake
Now that we’ve covered protection for your truck and suspension goodies, we move along to some performance mods. One of the first and most popular modifications to do is install a cold air intake. Put it this way: would you want to run through muggy and polluted air or cool and breezy air? Your Ram 2500 deserves to breathe in that same crisp air in order to perform at its best too. A good, high-flow intake system is especially beneficial for diesel engines and can improve turbo spool-up and throttle response without harming fuel efficiency thanks to the more efficient airflow passages.
The stock air intake that comes with your original Ram 2500 truck can be restrictive and limit the amount of air being drawn in. Upgrading to an aftermarket cold air intake is always a good investment, as your truck will run better and longer with cooler airflow to the engine. Cold air intake systems deliver a slew of benefits that make it a great product for the price point and super easy to install as well. Installing a CAI is an excellent and low-cost addition to any truck, first and foremost, because it can improve fuel economy. Other advantages include improved airflow, lower air temperatures, more responsive acceleration, and increased power.
By letting your truck’s engine breathe better and cooler air, you are simultaneously freeing up power within its system (gains may vary). You will also experience a more throaty rumble when you step on the gas, which suits the beefy 2500 perfectly. The icing on the cake? Aftermarket air intakes often boast superior filtration properties compared to stock filters, ultimately saving you money in the long-run. CAI filters also tend to only have to be cleaned every 30,000 miles whereas the stock paper one should be replaced every 15,000 miles.

#4 Intercooler
Aftermarket intercoolers are one of the best upgrades you can do to any truck. The intercooler is an integral part of your truck’s performance and a necessary mod to look into when adding more power. Its job is to cool down the air after it has been compressed by the turbo and before it enters the engine. In other words, the intercooler makes sure that the heat that builds up under the engine bay does not affect the air that your truck’s engine pulls in. By helping to keep your engine cool, it simultaneously improves efficiency and functionality. It’s similar to a cold air intake in some ways, but the two mods can also be used together to increase the performance of each one.
While an aftermarket intercooler won’t deliver tons of power, it can extend the life of your truck. The aftermarket intercoolers are also typically larger than stock ones, giving them much better heat-reducing properties. They provide your engine with cooler and denser air that results in improved airflow and, thus, noticeably better performance. You will find that many quality intercoolers on the market feature mandrel-bent, high-flow boost tubes, and high-efficiency aluminum end tanks. Benefits also include higher continuous power, better fuel economy, and lower exhaust gas temps. They also boast very low pressure drops to make sure that your turbo is not working any more than it has to. So let your truck’s turbo spool more efficiently with an upgraded intercooler today!
Shop Intercoolers Here.
#5 Tuning
If you are looking to get the most out of your Ram 2500 truck, a tune is necessary to take it to top-notch performance levels. In order for it to experience the higher power gains and benefits from the above mods, a retune is important. After all, no engine modifications are truly complete without the proper tuning. When tuning, you can tweak a number of parameters, including air/fuel ratio, torque and rev limiters, throttle response, boost, and ignition timing. As you continue to mod your Ram 2500 truck, look into reflashing its ECU so that the mods can be accounted for in the appropriate ways and no issues arise from factory limitations. You will start to notice a difference almost immediately!
A tuner will make your engine mods more efficient as the device provide a path of communication to the “brain” of your truck to tell it what you want to prioritize. IT also offers a simple way to read and clear PCM codes when needed. While tuners alone can provide a performance boost, they work best when improving the efficacy of any additional upgrades you install. VR Tuned offers an ECU flash for your Ram 2500, which transforms your truck to a whole new level and offers a more enhanced driving experience overall. With this product, your truck will gain quicker throttle responses, increased torque for towing, and more horsepower with top-end pull to redline. All in all, the driving properties of your truck will be vastly improved with better fuel economy to boot.

Written by Iris Lee Things may look bleak due to the choppy economies that seem to impact emerging markets like Malaysia, resulting in the continuous slide of our currency. There are many factors that caused the declining Ringgit, and this impacts everyone, directly and indirectly. Along with that, we also have the highest household debt against GDP in south-east Asia at 82% at the end of 2019. Safe to say, the current economic outlook certainly looks gloomy for Malaysians. So how do we combat this? We certainly can’t control global (or even local) economies right now. Increasing one’s income is definitely one way to deal with the current currency crisis and the rising cost of living, but there are other lifestyle adjustments to bring down our costs that we can all make to manage our finances better. Here are 9 lifestyle changes that you may consider making to survive the weak Ringgit: 1. Forget vacations abroad The weakening of the Ringgit has significantly slowed down the demand for overseas travel packages, said Hamzah Rahma, the president of the Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA). This is hardly surprising. If you are planning for a holiday in the UK or even to Singapore, you may want to recalculate your vacation budget as RM1 is only worth £0.189 and S$0.327, at the time of writing. An RM5 plate of chicken rice at a hawker centre in Singapore would easily cost a whopping RM15.30! (un)Fortunately, international travel is highly discouraged with the current global pandemic. Many countries have strict operating quarantine procedures for visitors, which prevents overseas vacations. In other words, forgett going anywhere outside of Malaysia. If you really need to rest and relax somewhere outside of the hustle and bustle of KL, consider nearer destinations within the country, such as Sepang Gold Coast, Port Dickson, or Penang. You will stay safe and your wallet will thank you for it! 2. Buy local products This is a no brainer. You will immediately see the impact of the weakening Ringgit when you buy imported products, because like the rest of the world, Malaysia trades mostly in US dollars. When the Ringgit slides against USD, you will find yourself paying more. If you like to buy imported fruits like blueberries or kiwis, consider changing to something local like papayas and bananas. A few Ringgit here and there, can add up to a lot at the end of every month. Bigger ticket items like a phone, may have to be substituted for cheaper alternatives. A brand new Samsung Galaxy S20 costs RM3,299, while a Samsung Galaxy A50s from last year can be found for as low as RM1059. A word of advice? Phones that were released the year before are can be just as good as the latest model. 3. Don’t eat out Like most urbanites who don’t stay with their parents, you will most probably be eating breakfast, lunch and dinner outside. If you take the time to jot down every sen you spend (yes, even the curry puff you bought for tea time yesterday), you will be surprised at the amount of money you end up spending on food every month. To add salt to the wound, these meals are usually not the healthiest option either. By preparing your own meal, you can save A LOT! Here’s how much you will spend on meals on weekdays (tried and tested!), compared to meal prepping at home: No meal prep*(3 meals for 5 days) Meal prep**(3 meals for 5 days) Daily breakfast: Food: RM5Drinks: RM6Total a week: RM55 3kg of chicken = RM555 types of vegetables = RM151 tray of chicken eggs = RM111 large loaf of bread = RM3.40Others (spices, seasonings, garlic, onions) = RM510 servings of rice = RM10 Daily lunch:Food: RM10Drinks: RM3Total a week: RM65 Daily dinner:Food: RM12Drinks: RM3Total a week: RM75 Total spent in a week (5 days):RM55 + RM65 + RM75 = RM195 Total spent in a week (5 days):= RM99.40 You save RM95.60 in a month * Prices of food and drinks based on prices in Damansara Heights.** Prices of groceries based on Tesco Online Malaysia website. If you are afraid you will fail in this cutting exercise, you can keep your weekends flexible. Budget restrictions that are too rigid will inadvertently results in failure. By just preparing food from home on your work days, you can save at least RM95.60 a month, and that’s RM1,147.20 a year! 4. Review all your subscriptions The best way to begin reducing your monthly expenses, and also to see an immediate savings, is to look at your fixed expenses, which should make up a maximum of 50% of your income. List down all your fixed payments such as loan, subscriptions and bills. Then, decide which of these items you can downgrade, extend or cancel. If you find that you don’t use all your data mobile data at the end of the month, consider downgrading your plan to a lower data cap. Alternatively, moving to a prepaid plan can help you manage your budget more carefully. You can even consider canceling your gym membership if you don’t go regularly or opt for cheaper alternatives. These are changes that will make a very immediate impact on your monthly budget. 5. Cut spending This sounds simple enough, but definitely not easy. Living pay cheque to pay cheque makes everything seem important, and you may not know where to start cutting. Once you’ve trimmed your fixed costs, then you can move on to flexible costs that should make up a maximum of about 30% of your monthly income. Categories that you can look at first are entertainment and hobbies. Don’t strike out the whole category, but you can reduce the amount spent on each category in a realistic way. If you watch a movie at the cinema every week, that’s at least RM45 spent a month on movie tickets. Try to reduce that to once or twice a month. It’s also helpful to cut down on shopping, unless it is absolutely necessary. Here are some tips on how you can control your shopping urges. Buying a pair of shoes every month? That definitely falls into the not necessary category, unless you wear disposable shoes that tear every month! Sometimes buying a more expensive item with better quality that will last longer makes more financial sense than buying something cheaper that has to be replaced every other month. 6. Start investing, or review your portfolio At this challenging time, investing has become a dilemma for most people. On one hand, most people are afraid to put their money in volatile investments while still maintaining some level of liquidity, while on the other hand, they are afraid of the diminishing value of their money if they keep it in a savings account. Investment becomes even more crucial to protect your Ringgit in these times. However, investing can also work against you if you are on the wrong side of the trade. The value of your investment can be affected by currency fluctuations if the fund invests overseas. Changes in rates of exchange may have an adverse effect on the value, price or profit of investments. Of course, hedging techniques may be used to manage currency risks. This could be done through derivatives for example but these instruments carry their own risks which may not be apparent to you immediately. Of course, if you are already holding foreign currency investments then it could also work to your advantage. If you already are investing, it’s time to relook at your portfolio to ensure your investments are able to help you weather through the weakening Ringgit. If you have not started investing, it’s time to get started, but make sure you are putting your money in products that suit your risk profiles and to also minimise your exposure to currency fluctuations. 7. Review your credit cards Every sen saved earns you extra maneuvering space for your finances. If you rely on your credit card heavily, it’s time to take a long, hard look at your wallet and see if it’s time to break-up with your long-time plastic partner. Remember, no matter how good the benefits are for a card, if it doesn’t suit your lifestyle, it will be as useful as having Ringgit when you are in the US (considering the current exchange rate, not useful at all). You may have signed up for an entertainment card that gives you excellent cash back for movie tickets, clubs, and shopping, but now with a family, your spending may mostly be on groceries, petrol and even paying utility bills. Why waste all that cash back and reward points by using the wrong card? Go back to the drawing board and figure out which card will reward you the most for every Ringgit spent. Get started with this short quiz to find out which card should enter your financial life right now! 8. Earn in a stronger currency In addition to reducing your expenses, you need to boost your income. After all, no matter how good a money saver you are, a bit more is always useful. When the currency you are earning is on a continuous slide downward, it makes sense to look for income in stronger currency. And in today’s globalised world, you don’t even need to leave the country to do that. One way to do that is to sell your things internationally on sites such as etsy, ebay, or even Amazon. If you have a crafty side, start making things and list them on etsy. Things like handmade hairbands, jewellery or photo props are extremely popular on etsy. The beauty of these sites is, everything is traded in USD (the listed price is converted from USD to Ringgit)! Other ways to increase your income is to consider working part-time, such as writing freelance, starting a blog and teaching tuition classes. Choosing the right part-time job to do depends on your preference and expertise. If you are into scrapbooking, you can even advertise your service on Facebook for free to get some extra income. The world is your oyster when it comes to making a few bucks. Most of these services can be offered to overseas clients, if you know the right market place to promote your skills! 9. Review your long-term financial goals Even though we need to start planning to achieve our financial goals as early as possible, these goals should be flexible. When certain hurdles present themselves along the way, you need to be able to make changes to your financial goals. One of the most common goals is saving for your child’s tertiary education. To send your child overseas, you may need to start saving as early as possible. However, for those who are at the brink of leaving for their tertiary education, they may find the weakening Ringgit a bitter pill to swallow. Instead of sacrificing other areas of your savings, for example, sacrificing your retirement funds to send your child overseas now, it may be a better option to study locally on a twinning programme – allowing your child to study locally for a year or two (while waiting for the economy to stabilise) before sending them off overseas. Going overseas in the final year only can save you a lot more money. Currency fluctuates. Things change. You can’t stop it all. However, these lifestyle adjustments will take you a long way, financially, even when times are good. Establishing these as habits will make your finances healthier in the long run. Get rewarded with every Ringgit spent. This can only happen with the right credit card in your wallet. Find the best credit card to suit your lifestyle now! Here are 51 reasons why Alberta & Saskatchewan would enjoy better lives as citizens of a U.S. state.
1. No more French language
Say goodbye to French on signs, products, government documents. No more French taught in schools. No more being greeted in French when you speak to customer service.
2. Free to travel to sunny states for as long as you want
Want to live in Florida, Arizona, or Maui for a while without raising eyebrows with U.S. border patrol or risk being double-taxed by IRS & CRA?
3. 2nd Amendment rights
The right to bear arms is an inalienable right ingrained in the U.S. Constitution, which can't be taken away. In Constitutional Carry states, you can even carry a concealed firearm without permits or red tape. In Canada, you will just have to watch your family get mowed down by bad guys.
4. Donald Trump
You get the ultimate leader of the people, a non-stop machine who works for you 20hrs a day instead of Trudeau who uses you to fund his vacation. You get an alpha male leader you can be proud of & truely loves his country instead of a sissy.
5. Protection from US military
You get the full protection of the Pentagon and its 1.3 million active duty personnel.
6. Safety of US dollar
You'll be earning US dollars which are the world's stable, standard currency and a safe haven of investment.
7. 1st Amendment
The right to free speech is ingrained in the U.S. Constitution. You are free to speak your mind without being fined or jailed for offending people.
8. Benefit from economies of scale
320 million people create a lot more buying power than 35 million. That's why prices of consumer goods and services tend to be better in the U.S. That's also why the U.S. has better infrastructure.
9. Better postal service
USPS is thriving in the digital age while Canada Post is cutting services to stay afloat. Order something cross country and USPS has it to you in 3 days or less at a fraction of the cost of Canada Post.
10. More banking options
You get a multitude of banking options rather than being stuck with Canada's banking oligopoly.
11. More phone & cable plan options
You get more choice of carriers and greater coverage in the States. Plans are usually cheaper as well.
12. More electronics, lower prices
There is so much more competition in the home electronics/appliances industries that it keeps prices lower in the U.S. than in Canada.
13. Cheaper car insurance
Car insurance tends to be about 40-50% lower in the U.S. than in Canada. Again, it's probably due to a larger economy of scale.
14. More famous restaurant franchises
You favorite U.S. restaurant chains will be more eager to operate north of the 49th when they're not faced with Canada's over-regulation of food, language and labor.
15. More affordable air transportation
How come you can fly from Phoenix to Las Vegas for $50 but flying from Calgary to Vancouver (same distance) is $200?
16. Better quality groceries, more choice
While Canada only has two big grocery companies that control 90% of the market, the U.S. has a multitude of options. With greater competition comes better quality and more options. Also, many great food companies in the U.S. won't export to Canada because of the cost of complying with Canada's food and labelling regulations.
17. Don’t pay duties for online shopping
Let's face it, all the good stuff online is shipped from the States. Then it gets dinged for up to 35% by Canada Customs when it comes in. This won't happen when Alberta is a U.S. state.
18. Won’t get made uncompetitive by Carbon Tax
Canada's obsession with climate change has mandated a carbon tax that is about to render its industrial output unable to compete with countries that haven't fallen for this hoax.
19. Won’t get made uncompetitive by new US import taxes
Trump is going to play hardball on trade. When he has leverage, he will use it to the advantage of the USA. He will start making Canada pay for the protection it gets from Uncle Sam, and if Canada won't pay, he'll make it up on increased tariffs.
20. Tougher justice system
The prime minister of Canada doesn't even think terrorists should lose their citizenship. Canada is a very liberal country that is soft on criminals in hopes that they can be rehabilitated. Meanwhile, very bad people are walking our streets.
21. Fewer refugees
Trump is proposing a total, temporary pause on refugees coming into the US until they figure out a way to vet them properly. Canada is simply an open borders country that will invite in as many refugees as it can to prove a point about how liberal it is.
22. Melting Pot, not Salad Bowl
The United States with its melting pot culture encourages immigrants to assimilate into English-speaking American culture. Canada encourages immigrants to maintain the cultural identities and customs of the home countries. This creates a lot of tension and a lack of shared identity in Canadian society.
23. Military industrial complex creates jobs
There is no arguing with the fact that the U.S. military industrial complex, with its world-leading innovation and massive productive capacity generates a tremendous amount of jobs and economic output. Canada's is nearly non-existent by comparison.
24. More diverse economy than Canada’s oil & health
Canada has put all its eggs in the oil and health care industries. This lack of diversity is very risky, as witnessed after the fall of oil prices. All the brightest minds in Canada who aren't working in oil or health move to the States to work in other industries.
25. Get to vote for President, not just watch
No longer will Albertans have to just sit on the sidelines and watch Americans elect the leader of the Free World.
26. Get a national culture & identity (vs “post-national”)
Americans have a strong sense of shared identity, cultural practices and values. Canada's leaders have declared it a "post-national" country, having no single shared identity. This encourages Canadians to stay in their ethnic cliques rather than work together like Americans do.
27. America first vs. globalism
Alberta will become part of America; a country now lead by those who put American priorities ahead of matters abroad. Canada is becoming the last bastion of globalism and makes domestic matters take a back seat to "virtuous" acts of saving people in faraway lands.
28. U.S. conservative values align with Alberta's
Canada's political spectrum is sharply to the left of the United States. The Conservative Party of Canada would be to the left of the Democrats if it was part of the U.S. Alberta keeps voting conservative which means it belongs in a more right-oriented political system like the U.S.
29. No more monarchy
Americans had the balls to evict the Crown 240 years ago, while Canada is still appeasing the Royals.
30. Access to better quality health care
You probably know at least five people who have had to go the the U.S. for serious health procedures. Most affluent Canadians go to the States for procedures. Why would any good doctors want to work in Canada's socialist health care system, when they can live in the States, make more money and work with the best technology?
31. Shorter wait times for operations
No more waiting days in a hospital corridor to get your rupturing appendix removed!
32. Might get an NFL franchise
Sure, you love your CFL teams, but wouldn't it be more exciting if your local franchise was NFL?
33. Help MAGA
You get to apply your energy to making America great again, instead of being trapped in a socialist country where your blood, sweat, and tears (and tax dollars) go to a leftist government that makes terrible decisions which work against you.
34. Be proud of your country again
There has never been a better time to be American. Those who support MAGA are walking with pride as their country is rebuilt, while Albertans walk with hunched shoulders, not proud of the country that mocks and exploits it.
35. Don’t have to feel second class around Americans anymore
You will be a first class, American citizen rather than being teased about being from wimpy Canada, eh?
36. Earning $USD, you can go to BC and shop/vacation in CAD pesos
When Alberta becomes part of the U.S. and Albertans are earning $USD, they will be able to go to BC for cheap cross-border shopping and holidays because the $CAD will be worth less than $0.50 $USD.
37. Elected Senate
You'll get to elect your senators rather than having them appointed by the elites.
38. State that treats you like grown up, not a nanny
Albertans are freedom-loving people. Why should they be over-regulated and talked down to by a government that thinks it knows what's best for its people and treats them like babies? The American society treats you like a grown up by default.
39. No more CBC
No more of your tax dollars going to support the government-backed Canadian Brainwashing Corporation.
40. No more forced CanCon
You will no longer be forced to ingest watered down versions of Netflix, Pandora, iTunes or having to listen to Nickelback, Bieber, or Alanis 50% of the time by law. No more government-funded shows like Little Mosque on the Prairie.
41. No more draining equalization payments
Less of your hard-earned dollars will go to buying beer and cigarettes for unemployed Quebecers.
42. No more government in absentia
The ruling government in Ottawa currently only has 4 MPs from Alberta. Alberta voted conservative and now has almost zero representation in government. This is complete political alienation.
43. Lower corporate tax better for small business
Trump is proposing dropping corporate tax to 10-15%. This will give American small business a major boost and Canada's small businesses will be unable to compete.
44. No longer lagging 8 years behind the US
Isn't it frustrating to have to repeat the same historical mistakes as the U.S., 8 years later? Canada elected its Obama (Trudeau) just on the eve of America rejecting him.
45. Lower gas tax
Gas taxes are lower in the U.S.
46. Lower liquor tax
Liquor is taxed at a lower rate in the U.S., too. Why pay more tax if you don't have to?
47. Won’t be trapped in Canada by a plunging Loonie
When America steps up their economic & trade games to a whole new level, the Loonie is going to be driven down by so much money flowing from Canada to the U.S. This will hurt Canadians' ability to buy vacations, real estate and consumer goods from the US.
48. Your children will have more job opportunities
America's economic diversity, military industrial complex, and world-leading innovation provide orders of magnitude more opportunity than Canada's narrow oil & health focus. By the time your children are old enough to join the workforce, Trump will have made America even stronger with even more opportunities, which will dwarf Canada. With Alberta part of the U.S., your children won't have to leave to get jobs.
49. Your children will have more education options
As U.S. citizens, your children will benefit from having the choice of hundreds of great American colleges and universities where they can make great connections with the leaders of tomorrow, rather than being marginalized nobodies who graduated from some unknown Canadian school.
50. Cheaper to heat your home with no CO2 tax
No more having to choose between heating vs. eating in the frigid winter months.
51. Never be ruled by another Trudeau!
Nothing needs to be said about this one.
Feel free to copy n paste, I did.
