When King of Kotha is compared to Pushpa, Dulquer Salmaan REACTS by saying, "It's a compliment."

According to Dulquer Salmaan, King of Kotha is intended to be a huge show for the post-COVID audience rather than a copy of Pushpa.

During the trailer and song launch ceremony in Mumbai, actor Dulquer Salmaan stated that his upcoming Malayalam action movie King of Kotha is not a parody of Allu Arjun's mega hit Pushpa.

"There is no such thing as influence. I adore Allu Arjun as a performer and as an actor. But the character sketch for this movie was created about three years ago; the movie has been in theaters since 2019. We thus had this in mind. I've heard this, and I consider it to be somewhat flattering. Although we are not attempting to mimic or counterfeit Pushpa, Dulquer added, "I hope it succeeds as Pushpa did.

In the Abhilash Joshiy-directed movie, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Prasanna, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Gokul Suresh are among the other cast members. In order to satisfy the needs of a post-COVID spectacle-hungry public, Dulquer claims that it will be one of the biggest Malayalam movies in recent memory. Onam, August 24, the day of the Malayalam premiere of King of Kotha, will also see the release of its Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada dubs.

Pushpa 2: The Rule's "The Couple Song" Unveiled: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna Groove with Director Sukumar

Excitement is building for the upcoming release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, and fans are in for a treat with the unveiling of a new track, "The Couple Song." The song features lead actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, who bring their characters, Pushpa Raj and Srivalli, to life in a vibrant and upbeat dance number.

With less than three months to go before the worldwide release on August 15, 2024, the makers have dropped this four-and-a-half-minute video, filled with behind-the-scenes (BTS) visuals. Bollywood is considered the final pedestal for any actor but few actors didn’t think so. Here is the list of 7 popular actors who refused to do Bollywood movies.

Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu is one of the top stars in the Telegu film industry and has many blockbusters under his belt in Tollywood. Recently in a press conference, Mahesh Babu was asked a question by a journalist that why he doesn’t do Bollywood movies to which Mahesh Baby replied that Bollywood can’t afford him and he is happy being a star in his home state.

Anushka Shetty

AnushkaShetty is a famous actress from the Telegu film industry and she got nationwide fame with the movie Bahubali 2 and became a known face outside Tollywood also. If rumors are to be believed she was offered the first Singham movie by Rohit Shetty but she declined the offer. She is a big star in her native state and has no interest in Bollywood.

Allu Arjun

AlluArjun was already famous outside his home state thanks to his dance movies and dubbed movies on YouTube. He has a big fan following outside Tollywood also and recently his Pan-India movie Pushpa: The Rise became a nationwide blockbuster and earned more than 200 crores at the box office. Many times he was offered Bollywood movies but he has shown no interest in them.

Yash

Yash predominantly works in the Kannada film industry and with his KGF movies, he became a sensation all over India. Yash as Rocky Bhai in KGF movies got fans from all over India. KGF 2 which was released recently broke the record of HrithikRoshan-Tiger Shroff starrer ‘War’s record of biggest opening day. He was offered Saif Ali Khan’s role in the movie LaalKaptaan but he politely refused the offer.

Vijay

Vijay is the top star of the Tamil movie industry and has a crazy fan following. Many of his movies like Pokkiri and Thupakki were remade in Bollywood but barring a small cameo in the song sequence of Akshay Kumar starrer Rowdy Rathore he didn’t appear in any Bollywood movie despite getting lots of offers.

Fahadh Fasil

FahadhFasil is a Malayalam actor and is regarded as one of the finest actors in the country. His movies are a perfect fusion of commercial and art movies and he gave memorable performances in movies like Malik, Kerala Café, Bangalore Days, and many more. He is a recipient of many awards including the prestigious National Award. He was offered a role by Vishal Bhardwaj to act in a Bollywood movie but things didn’t work out as he is content doing movies in the South.

Darshan

Darshan works in the Kannada film industry and is a big name in Karnataka. He is famous for his macho looks along with being a good actor. He was offered the role of the main villain in Salman Khan’s Dabbang 3 which he declined and later actor Sudeep did the role. According to him he is happy doing roles in Kannada movies and has no intention to work in Bollywood as of now.

He starts out as a red sandalwood smuggler’s coolie and earns the trust of the Kondareddy brothers’ syndicate (Ajay Ghosh and others). Mangalam Seenu (Sunil), the syndicate’s primary boss, is generating crores of rupees by transporting the wood to Chennai and handing out peanuts to Kondareddy and other members of the syndicate. Pushpa challenges Mangalam Seenu to a duel and becomes the new don. Police officer Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) arrives on the scene just as everyone believes he is the new ‘boss’ of the smuggling business. Performances: As Pushpa Raj, Allu Arjun has delivered an outstanding performance. His physique change is flawless. His delivery of language in the Chittoor dialect is amazing. The film is entirely his show from beginning to end. Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the village beauty, nails her accent and puts in a genuine effort. The romantic sequences between them are amusing, although they are overly clichéd. Sunil gets a fantastic makeover as the villain, although his role isn’t particularly successful. The presence of Anasuya makes no difference. The actor who played Keshava did a good job. Ajay Ghosh and Kannada star Dhanunjay are among them. Samantha is hot in the item song, but it’s only a few minutes long. Fahadh Faasil, one of India’s most well-known performers, makes a late appearance in the film. He is conspicuous in his presence. Technical Departments: If we look at the screenplay, we can see that director Sukumar B isn’t in his greatest form. The struggle between Pushpa and a police officer is shown in the beginning. Pushpa MASSive Pre Release Party Today

The upcoming much awaited Pan Indian film Pushpa: The Rise starring Icon star Allu Arjun and Kannada lady Rashmika Mandanna will have its pre-release event on 12th December today in Hyderabad.

The makers have announced the event by releasing a poster today once again on Twitter revealed that Pushpa Massiva pre release part event will start today from 6 pm. The Sukumar directorial venture will hit the silver screens on 17th December.

The pre-release ceremony will take place today at the Yousufguda Police Ground in Hyderabad. The songs, Dako Dako Mika, Srivalli, Sami Sami, and Ae Bidda, have already been released and generated good buzz among the music lovers. Recently the makers also released the lyrical video of Samatha’ special song from the film. The distributors for the Tamil and Kannada versions of Pushpa: the rise have been finalized. It will be distributed by Leica Productions, a leading production house in Tamil Nadu.

The upcoming movie Pushpa is based on red sandalwood smuggling, that makes it one of the most anticipated films of the season.
