you have a bad habit of calling people "dude" and "bro." unfortunately, this habit extends to your boyfriend who is less than thrilled by your word choice and loves to make that fact known.

"bro, how many times have i-" you paused mid sentence as you turned and were greeted by the look on your boyfriend's face. his look was somewhere between you just ran over his mother, and you just suggested you both have olive garden for dinner— deeply hurt and utterly offended.

"how many times have i told you that i'm not your bro," he said pointedly, crossing his arms over his chest. "i'm your boyfriend."

"are we really going to have this conversation again?" you rolled your eyes, your frustration about him not unloading the dishwasher replaced by slight annoyance at his persistence.

"yes, we are," he replied with an eyeroll of his own.

"it is not that serious," you insisted, shutting the dishwasher door with a sigh, deciding to worry about it after your boyfriend's little temper tantrum. "i call everyone 'bro'."

"oh, so, now i'm just anyone?" he scoffed, clearly taking offense to that.

"you are actually the most dramatic person i have ever met," you threw your arms up in exasperation, a small smile tugging at your lips.

"it's the italian in me," he defended, a small smile of his own playing on his lips as his annoyance faded into amusement.

"you blame all your faults on being italian," you rolled your eyes, crossing your arms and leaning back against the kitchen counter.

"that's not true," he shook his head, advancing toward you. "i also blame my impeccable cooking skills on being italian, and that's hardly a fault," he grinned, placing his hands on either side of the counter, caging you in.

"you always have to be right, huh?" you shook your head, laughing softly.

"precisely," he smiled down at you. "now, stop calling me 'bro'," he said, his tone stern.

"but, you're so sexy when you're annoyed," you teased him, tilting your head back to look at him due to the close proximity. a smile settled on your face as you enjoyed the playful banter.

"oh, i'll show you sexy," he said lowly, his head dipping down to capture your lips in a kiss.

Late Music Monday for The UnTitledverse, specifically for the last three chapters of my A Blast In The Past WIP, and a Last Line for WIPs for The Silver Chronicles and Life, Despair & Monsters and a colour palette results for my username. Chapter 3 of my A Blast In The Past WIP, called "Absolutely Anything" continues with Calvin being denied his POV, and the Narrator continuing to slander his name, in spite of Calvin's actions. Also more introduction to allies and enemies, as well as Calvin being desperate to just... leave. Hence the chapter's title. Sure his actions are warped by the Narrator to seem more incompetent/selfish than he actually is, but yeah. Not only is Calvin's character twisted by the Narrator's words, it's also literally everyone else, but Calvin gets the Narrator's hate boner the most.

"I used to be so beautiful, now look at me My actions are undutiful, it's clear to see Come on and step out of that cage There's a new chapter, turn the page I'll take my place up on the stage All eyes on me!"

"I can hear you calling Calling up to me I'm falling down, I'm falling Won't you set me free?

Chapter 4's the darkest chapter, hence given the name "Art Of Darkness". Calvin's got his hands full with subtracting the number of foes he's got to deal with, meanwhile being psychologically tormented by the Narrator and the environment around that's sole purpose is to beat the shit out of him. Calvin gets closer to finding his exit... or at least, what the Narrator states is a lead.

"So sing along to the bouncing ball Wave your flag and renounce these halls You may have been sacked from this pantomime But a pal of mine wants you recalled

So march along to the count of four Astound at the scoundrel crowd you've drawn Left stranded and damned to this mangled form To abandon us here was an act of war."

Chapter Five "Clearer" marks the finale of A Blast In The Past, the culmination of Calvin's journey and the mystery of his circumstances being revealed with the help of two intruders who the Narrator doesn't want anywhere near his playground. For Calvin, everything becomes... "clearer" in a way.

"Wake up in the wrong place at the wrong time Got to run away, no way out Thought I had new friends, new allies, but they won't let me escape

Still got my Coroner!Silva AU WIP No Snake, Only A Boa In The Garden from The Silver Chronicles. Anyway, have some Faith Seed POV as she falls for Coroner!Silva and falls hard (not that she already wasn't in an earlier scene where Silva charmed her with her strange hyper-fixations on the science behind corpses):

Faith wasn't sure if her words were making any sense to Silva. Botany was vastly different from forensic science. It'd help to prepare the coroner for when she eventually joined their family, especially as "the Mother" like Joseph had proclaimed. As she continued to speak, she took a chance to glance at her bench mate.

The first thing Faith noticed was Silva's eyes. Usually they were a dulled grey, without a light of life in them. There seemed to be a glow in the rings of her irises; a burning intensity, like molten silver. She held a dedicated gaze, absorbing and absorbed by every word that spilled from Faith's mouth, even as she began to slow and falter in her observation. The acute stare was different from Joseph's; his held a power that felt like he was judging a person's soul. Silva's though held no judgemental scrutiny; only a warm admiration that passed over her soul like an embrace. It almost felt like Silva was actually hearing every word Faith blurted out of her lips.

Faith swears she's seen this look before, or something close to it. Yes, right, Nadi. This expression was a similar kind she noticed on Nadi whenever John was around or even mentioned, which was often. Faith had often shaken her head at the Sinclair women's transitioned from a "dutiful bodyguard" to a "lovesick puppy" the moment John entered the frame; something Faith would combat with a teasing smile and an eye roll at the silly display, always finding herself satisfied that such antics would never happen with her, that level of attention unnecessary compared to the Father's approval.

And yet, Faith found herself breathless and unfairly unprepared in the face of the level of attention Silva's given her. Though she recognized just how contrasting the coroner's was from Nadi's own. The sharpshooter's was rooted in a kind of inexperienced love; a childish crush really, an envisioned idolized image Nadi built around the few virtues John displays, ignoring the glaring flaws John has. But Silva's gaze was more grounded, a reserved devotion almost saved for Faith; a maturity and experience Faith often laments not being given a chance to have herself. Just as she listened to Faith, it felt as if Silva was seeing Faith as well. Not as the Siren. Not as a herald. Not even as Rachel. Just... her. Just as she is now.

By now, Faith had ceased talking, just entrapped in the eyes of the woman next to her. Heart pounding, a red flushing on her face as she managed to ask Silva with a wavering smile, "Why are you staring at me like that?"

The Sheriff's coroner leaned against the support of her arm, gloved knuckles against under her cheek. Faith noticed her lips were slightly ajar, glistened with a natural shine as Silva seemed to think of an answer. She observed as Silva's expression shifted, displaying a coy smirk that was almost sly of amorous. The ridiculous thought caused her heart to flutter as anticipation coiled in her innards. Silva shuffled and leaned a shy bit closer to Faith, the recipient trying to swallow her nerves at the change of atmosphere, awaiting Silva's answer.

And here's a Last Line Tag for my Sonya's Push WIP from my Life, Despair & Monsters series. Enjoy the little snippet of one of the most toxic w|w couples I've made thus far:

A steam of hot air blew pass the clenched jaw of the mechanical Beastie, its optic shining a red hue onto her flesh. Jennifer sucked in a breath and shuddered as the heat stung her exposed shoulders. The Apex, Sonya, whatever name Malvolio's Beastie crowned itself with, hadn't immediately given her an answer. She tried to struggle against the tail's curled hold around her legs, waist, and arms.

Just like last time, she only succeeded in causing the tail to coil tighter, effectively pinning her hands to her tattered and dirty golden dress. The fear of her body's circulation being cut off suddenly occurred, so she ceased the struggle, hoping to gain the Apex's favour as it inspected her from the ground, circling as the panic and fear rumbled in her stomach. Jennifer was unsure what fate awaited her. She hoped her words made an effort in appealing to whatever human desire remained in the Beastie, but if she were to die, she'd wish it to be quicker than what Dicko received.

Anyway here's the results for the colour palette name game:

Nice to see I got some blues and purples and even a bit of greys. I can live with the reds and the darker/paler colours I guess but what's that lone random greenish-blue doing there, poor sod.

i just wish to say all lelands friendships are so important to him, but i do especially find his friendships w the girls very sweet. connie teaches him yes you should be yourself and cringe and the right people will like you when you're yourself and the wrong people will see themselves out. and that it is ok to love who you love and it's not weird. and maria teaches him it's good to be soft it's good to have an open heart being kind to others is about believing in the best in them. seeing the best in everything, really, and the beauty in a moment, in a field of flowers, in anything. and julie teaches him boys do cry and it doesn't matter what someone says you can be anything you want and do anything you want. and that you should trust yourself and your feelings and also you don't have to be ashamed of those feelings. the girls in gen bringing him out of his shell in other ways too like yes pretty boy you can wear more than blue and brown if you want to

at the moment, pretty nonexistent. One doesn't really have a friendship/relationship with the Hamato fam outside of business (excluding Four)

the funny part you can take from this is that One is pretty open and blatant about the fact that she's their biological sister via Splinter. Draxum just kinda sorta just.......forgot to tell them about her, so when those two came a-knocking on Big Mama business and she called Raph, Mikey and Donnie her brothers (and Splinter father) they all immediately looked at Draxum with wtf looks. safe to say he had a lot of explaining to do

(Lee and Casey already knew about One and her connection to them. neither if them said anything about it bc how the fuck do you drop that bomb?? luckily, when they did tell everyone, everyone's collective anger was zeroed in on Draxum so they weren't yelled at too much)

so, no relationship with the fam as of yet

as for what One would think about the Kraang?? hates them. she already didn't like them thanks to the whole "take over the world" thing and destroying a good chunk of NYC, but after Four's little ordeal with them gets revealed? she's gonna hate them even more. that's her baby brother bitch

Four's redeveloping relationship with his family won't put a damper on his relationship with One. they're already tight-knit and affectionate with each other as brother and sister, and One knows that it was only a matter of time before Four regained some memories of his old family, so she's not gonna stop him from reforming bonds with them. she's the one who helped Four convince Big Mama for a shared custody deal with the Hamato Clan when it came to him

noooo no they wouldn't. Four's name isn't just because he's the fourth turtle out of five, but because he's also the fourth Kraang

Here's some disaster queers! [Also note that I did not get any faceclaims not draw at least a face for Sonya so I went for Jennifer's canon appearance and the closest thing I could find that would work as a reference to Sonya's appearance... which is the Kraang Leader's exosuit from the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie] Anyway on with the show:

This Disaster Ship is called "Femme Fatale and the Apex", between Dicko's personal assassin/trophy blonde Jennifer (no last name) and god-complexed angry beastie lesbian Sonya who came from the question "what would have happened if Sonnie had been taken by an inter-dimensional insane scientific creature called Malvolio after the traumatic incident that destroyed her original body but left her mind alive and was enslaved to do 17 death battles for combat data?"

These two are in a tense situationship, both are women (though Sonya doesn't mind being called "it" and has fully embraced what was meant to be a dehumanizing statement), Jennifer is 25 while Sonya is 30, Jennifer is bisexual while Sonya is a lesbian. Why are these two are so problematic? Well Jennifer is a remorseless killer who has murdered plenty of people under Dicko's command, while Sonya went on a murder spree as soon as she was released from Malvolio's programming. Also she developed a god-complex during her confinement under Malvolio (a worship/praise kink as well).

How compatible are they truly? 53%. They are both horrible and kinky enough that they're perfect for each other but so horrible that they are awful for one another so its a 50/50 chance besides the fact that the only people they can stand is each other. How compatible do they personally think they are? Well Jennifer believes she really isn't that compatible with Sonya, considering the human/beastie has a very high opinion of herself and looks down on everyone but she's also a slick looking beastie with an almost monster-god like appearance and that awakens something in Jennifer that she thought she grew out of. Sonya on the other hand is just delusional and thinks their perfect for each other except for the fact Jennifer makes her take baths and doesn't get bloody enough. And when Jennifer has to keep appearances up where its like she's the boss, she doesn't miss an opportunity to boss around Sonya which both gets her off and annoys her.

The biggest complaints they have with each other? Jennifer's top two is that Sonya calls her weak (and not in a kinky way nor the degrading kink she wants) and the fact that Sonya is an absolute bitch to clean blood off because the stains just stick to the metal, so she has to spend Dicko's savings to deep clean the beastie. Sonya's complaints about Jennifer lay on two issues; she worked with a pimp (who she didn't even kill and take power from) and Jennifer spends more time looking pretty than she does getting bloody.

Both are extremely jealous of one another (for varying reasons) and get jealous when they pay more attention to someone else more than they do the other. Both are very manipulative and pull out anything they can use to keep the other. Both are extremely dangerous, though Sonya more due to the advantage of being a beastie. Though Jennifer is more prone to wandering eyes (from Sonya's perspective, Jennifer is looking for other options, but in actuality, Jennifer is just contrasting everyone from Sonya, like "tch, they don't compare to the elegance of Sonya") and is also a criminal to boot. There's also the fact that Jennifer can be rather oblivious (as in clueless about the dangers of the criminal underworld would do after finding out a woman was in power of a powerful operation like Dicko's). Sonya can be pretty absent, and is very self-absorbed.

Jennifer hasn't had any experience with love so she's quite confused when her feelings grow beyond the sexual fantasies she achieved to make reality and she's absolutely seething about it. Sonya is a mixed bag, on one hand she knows that she's in a unhealthy sense of love and thrilled about it (delusional). Sonya's reasonable side is also seething about it too, due to it being Jennifer, and she's absolutely confused on that. Jennifer ups her seductive charm to keep Sonya wrapped around her finger, though can be irritating at the wrong times, while Sonya is a mix of stoic, sappy and charming at the same time. Jennifer and Sonya cannot stop thinking about one another the moment they "met" through Malvolio. The difference is the fact Sonya hogs Jennifer's attention at any given moment while Jennifer would rather try to ignore the love epiphany. Jennifer is like a revolving door; on good days, she sees Sonya as an ally and would never think to hurt her (not just because of the disadvantage it gives her) but there are days where Jennifer is so pissed off at Sonya that she'd definitely try and intentionally sabotage their efforts out of spite and sell Sonya if she could. Sonya on the other hand, despite what she may say, is too obsessed with the fact Jennifer doesn't mind her new appearance and rather finds it attractive to the point of sleeping with her to even think of hurting Jennifer.

What was their first meeting like? Ugly. Very ugly. Not only was Sonya under voiceless enslavement with Malvolio using her to perform in the beastie death matches (with the possibility of dying) and Jennifer was the trophy girl of the pimp hosting the arena who she tried to signal for help but kept getting ignored. By the time she was released, the programming that kept her under Malvolio's control also restricted her ability to feel pain so... Sonya was not in a happy mood, and pretty much slaughtered everyone except Jennifer, Wes and Ivrina (Malvolio and Denise managed to escape through his secret tunnel/portal). Jennifer acts indifferent but she's as obsessed with Sonya as Sonya is with her. It's all about the power they hold which attracts them. They know they're relationship is more situational than well-thought out, but Sonya probably thinks their already married by the fact she's "claimed" Jennifer through bites and marks. Sonya can't really communicate a lot, but Jennifer doesn't generally overshare more than she just shares more than Sonya does. Both would hide a body with one another; hell, Jennifer hid a slaughterfest for Sonya. They're both in it to make the other worse and get more power.

Why are they together despite it all? Both are in it for common interest revenge against Malvolio, Denise and the wealthy men who look down on them. Plus Jennifer is an apologetic monsterfucker and Sonya thinks Jennifer's hot. Redeeming qualities both appreciate about one another? Jennifer appreciates Sonya's cleverness and intelligence, especially when helping her navigate being a king (or rather, queen) pin. She also admires Sonya's noble revenge against Malvolio, intending to prevent him from ruining anyone else's life permanently, which Jennifer can't help but be shocked by the fact Sonya would want to do it for those reasons. Sonya on other hand appreciates the fact Jennifer has some moral lines despite being a otherwise remorseless killer, and also that despite being vain at times, Jennifer is not lazy.

Do they get along? Sonya thinks they do, Jennifer still has problems with Sonya though. Do they have fun? Oh hell yeah they do. Do they like each other? Despite the problems and unhealthiness of their relationship, they do like each other for the person hidden underneath all the resentment and immoral attitudes they present.

Jurassic World: The Perfect Storm is the final Jurassic World fic before that arc ends and the next phase begins. The adaptability of a human is quite a phenomenal quality, a challenge towards the obstacles reality throws at them. Joaquin and Maisie have the strongest hold on this quality, especially while surviving BioSyn's dinosaurs and Edward Carmine's grudging disdain. Unlike Jurassic World: Dominion, the actions of these two teens (who are in way over their heads) change the globe's food chain significantly into a true Jurassic World. Another The UnTitledverse work is a Transformers Prime fic called Honour Thy Father that focuses on Arcee as she discovers that she may have been sired by a Decepticon when she isn't immediately shot dead by some Spark Recognition Turrets. She goes on a solo mission to find answers, which crosses paths with the mission of an unknown droid calling himself Timekeeper... who's looking for a McGuffin. Their first encounter doesn't start... great. The best I can describe it as is Maui's "You're Welcome" diversion from Moana.

Later on after that debacle, Timekeeper and Arcee work together to both find the group with the information on her heritage and the McGuffin Timekeeper misplaced. A steam of hot air blew pass the clenched jaw of the mechanical Beastie, its optic shining a red hue onto her flesh. Jennifer sucked in a breath and shuddered as the heat stung her exposed shoulders. The Apex, Sonya, whatever name Malvolio's Beastie crowned itself with, hadn't immediately given her an answer. She tried to struggle against the tail's curled hold around her legs, waist, and arms. Just like last time, she only succeeded in causing the tail to coil tighter, effectively pinning her hands to her tattered and dirty golden dress. The fear of her body's circulation being cut off immediately invaded her thoughts, so she ceased the struggle, hoping to gain the Apex's favor as it inspected her from the ground, circling as the panic and fear rumbled in her stomach. Jennifer was unsure what fate awaited her. She hoped her words made an effort in appealing to whatever human desire remained in the Beastie, but if she were to die, she'd wish it to be quicker than what Dicko received. The Apex chittered, shaking its head as the plates running down the spine rattled, one of the tails whipping. She was brought down to face the lipless metal of its exterior jaws. The red optic, white pupil merely a dot surrounded by the growing crimson that glowed a darker hue. Jennifer refrained from speech. The Apex brought its ghastly face too close to her face for comfort. The exterior jaw slightly gaped open, and Jennifer felt her heart halt for a mere second. Instead of a long tongue covered in the gore of its victims or a grotesque second jaw jutting out to snap her in half, the Apex puffed out a steam of hot air again. It blew past Jennifer's blonde hair, frazzling it up even more now. "Correct me if I'm wrong," it spoke, deep feminine voice vibrating out of unknown vocal cords Malvolio had put inside it, "But from what I'm hearing... you want to partner up? Use me to monger fear into Dicko's personnel and rivals while you reign in his power?" "With the benefit of garnering enough essential resources and numbers to give you - and myself - the advantage in hunting down Malvolio," she told it, soft voice as reasonably loud as possible, and swiftly yet shakily added, "B-but that can only happen if you let me live." The Apex hummed- or maybe it groaned, it was difficult to tell, "So use you as a puppet while masquerading as your trump card? That is... tempting." Jennifer gulped as the Apex hissed, "But how can I trust you of all people? Not just twelve hours ago, you were living the dream as Dicko's personal little lapdog. Or would you be his vicious hound instead?" Jennifer kept her composure to ensure she didn't blow this opportunity to earn her freedom, "He betrayed me. He left me to die." "That's true," the Apex acknowledged, "But these feelings haven't just manifested tonight. No. This was a progression of resentment and disgust that finally hit a last straw. You had plans to kill him... you just never had the opportunity to safely execute it." Jennifer blinked at the Apex's assessment, both fuming and terrified by its thinking. "So tell me," the Apex brought its glaring optic against Jennifer's forehead; the light forcing her to shut her eyes, "Why should I give you the benefit of the doubt?"

CONS:

Silva is secretive. She'll be secretive about her problems because she doesn't want to bother people with said problems.

However Silva is most secretive about her past. She'd rather not talk about that. She won't tell you about her childhood, her family (with only a simplification of who they were and her relationship with them and the fact that they're dead), what she was doing on her six month trip around the globe, etc. She even has a fake past on hand, which is short and straight to the point.

Silva may not be great at lying, but she doe use forms of deception, such as evading the question, using vague yet plausible short explanations, has mastered a very neutral stoic mask to hide her emotions, etc. Pretty much anything that helps her avoid answering a question she's either uncomfortable with or does not want to answer.

Silva doesn't want to talk about her trauma, grief nor the horrors she went through. She came to Montana to begin anew with Elsa and Persephone, and even though she no longer has the latter two anymore, she will honor that mission by trying to live a "normal" life.

Also fairly certain she doesn't know therapy is something that exists.

Survivors guilt big time makes her blame herself for any fault or disaster that happens around/to/because of her, mentally punching herself for not doing more or failing in general (even though some things were out of her control or outright not her fault).

Silva's paranoia makes her kind of overprotective, and its subtle and hard to spot considering she genuinely thinks its actually a reasonable thing to do (Thanks Kamski).

Knowing Silva means getting to know Kamski and to be honest he's not approving of anyone outside of Silva. Might sabotage relationship if he finds you too suspicious.

Knowing Silva might put a target on your back (mostly from Adam and his Congregation, Joseph and Eden's Gate, and Paul and the Apostles, but in certain AUs, there's possibly more).
