everyone once in a while i’ll go “hm. am i woobifying cpurpled too much by drawing him with these things (hair clips, mlp plushes, etc)” and then i’ll remember cbench mains do the exact same thing and are regarded as popular and really good/canon designs and i feel a lot better

#icarus speaks #this is with ALL the love for cbench mains u guys make me feel a lot better about sillifying him #bc like. i worry it comes across as me babying him #bc that is a Huge issue around his character #i just think he deserves cool stuff too!!! the benches have their butterfly clips and funky fashions and cow stuffies #purp deserves some of that same love!! something more than just the baseline background character design #idk. i just worry sometimes it’s read as something it’s not. purp is really complex and deep and the last thing i want to do #is look like i’m ignoring/steamrolling that depth for my own gain #i. need to make cpurp analysis posts again is what i think i’m missing. or find my old ones
