sure here’s a doodle of winnie I did between therapy shit. it’s specifically from the 2nd arc called Mary’s Room (prologue is Consultation first arc is No House Street. third is Antiquated and Expired fourth is still in progress and fifth is nonexistent but the plan is five arcs)

who do you think winnie or dr whittaker would sound like

dr whittaker probably sounds like psycho 1960 era anthony perkins. yes i know im a little obsessed but thats who i think of for my guy. this clip is a good example. maybe a bit more crunchy bc he smokes. for winnie im not sure T__T the best example i could cook up rn is probably jane from brba or trenton from mr robot >__< idk.. if u have any suggestions id love to hear em.

What kind of canary did Dr. Whittaker have?

american singer canary! he has two other canaries in the same enclosure that are still living tho. the one that died is important to the story and serves as physical representation of dr whittakers grief over. somethingggg. all of them look kinda like this:

except the one that died was more on the lighter side.

also a quick note: dr whittaker doesnt keep the dead bird like that in the comic, it died the day before Winnie's first session with him. That's also important and I did a comic for class abt that but i dont wanna post it cuz its kinda uggo.

ooohh give us some juicy/angsty facts about your ocs for us to really dig into

arc 4: messy lesbian friends with benefits escape from a detroit based human/drug trafficking mafia after getting tipped off about the docks where they operate from the ghost of a dead victim only one of them can see via hallucinatory philosophical psychotic episode and an irish-italian P.I. blows a pie sized hole thru one of the traffickers neck with a shotgun to protect them and breaks his wrist in the process (from the kickback) (this is the first time he's ever shot a gun) while the psychiatrist drives the getaway car despite having his license revoked after a dui that he just wrote off as a dui but was actually a suicide attempt in 1995. also its 1996. is this clicking

Yeah, same! I've been here since supermega and the reason why I've held on so long is your style, ability to thoroughly look at a story, and just you general awesome creativity. Because of that, I get really excited when you put all this together in making docs. Even if I only get to see them for two weeks. Fun fact: I have a of named Moira now!

So yeah, can't wait to hear whatever little ideas you have about puppyguard that might pop up :D

For realski tho I am genuinely just not confident with my work in general rn but least of all my personal ocs. I know I’ve said this before but my confidence in how well my personal work will be received is extremely low I am extremely hard on myself when it comes to my own designs and story writing capabilities pero I reeeeaaaally do wanna at least do some quick little prologue comics !!!! I have a few that I finally got returned to me from that class I did and I wanna take them and refine them for the actual official prologue “issue”.

But ya it does mean a lot to me to see ppl interested squeak … hearts and kisses

no owl house ocs but i have two main stories ive been working on for years and im still too paranoid to share too much about them bc 1. i dont think anypony will care and 2. constant fear that the themes im writing about arent well communicated. if you think im hard on the stories i consume wait til u see how neurotic and paranoid i am over the stories i WRITE

but for the palismen question... these will have no context but the two main characters im writing rn are Winnie (Winona) Andal and Dr. Whittaker

winnie would have a dove and dr. whittaker would have a canary (he has pet canaries its a whole thing)

are you perhaps comfortable speaking more on winnie and the drs personalities? their relationship to each other?

forgive the quality im inebriated and tired but ummmm well heres some shit abt their dynamic.

he starts seeing her as a patient bc of an incident with a spirit (that she could see all her life but never interact with) where she woke up in an abandoned boat storage warehouse by the harbor surrounded by a dozen dead men cleaved in half. the spirit follows winnie constantly and only seeks dr whittaker out once the spirit halves a man for grabbing winnie on her walk home.

at first dr whittaker is very uninterested in taking on another patient after his previous patient went missing, and assumed to have taken her own life. he struggles a lot with not feeling like a failure and also he goes to this bar/underground fight club type arena where he just gets the shit beat outta him so. he is not very well. but he gives winnie a try bc he feels like he owes it to his last patient who was around her age.

anyways winnie is initially not into it since its a last ditch effort, but also bc hes gonna tell her what every other therapist/psychiatrist/specialist told her before; that these are delusions. but this time she knows theyre not, so shes even more uncouth and cold. dr whittaker doesnt rly react bc he feels the same. he feels like hes going thru the motions and decides to take off his glasses and veer off course and just explain to her this will probably be his last session, so he may as well vent too. winnie and him find common ground and start to kinda bond before she finallytells him whats up. he puts his glasses back on and well. he can see it too.

winnie FREAKS OUT bc she knows the spirit has a particular intolerance for men. she ducks down while dr whittaker kinda just stares. the spirit stalks forward, reaches a hand out, and... fixes his glasses. he can see the spirit, and the spirit trusts him.

thus begins the mystery :J.

YESSSSS BRUH YES.... speaking of dr whittaker here is some shit of him i drawed last week + comic thumbnails for class. Also on twitter i asked what his first name (never mentioned in universe save for like once or twice) should be and im stuck between Graham, Jame/James, Will(iam), and Roger. Idk what fits him best doe... he's just Dr. Whittaker to me
