when you came to know corey cunningham, he was a puppy-eyed softie, but during each meeting, you felt his energy shift. sad eyes gone dark. boyish grin turned sinister. hands in places that he hadn’t dared touch before. corey was feral. & it’s not that you were blind to the red flags, it’s just that you felt an unexplainable gravitational pull towards the curly-haired psycho. you couldn’t help yourself.

so when you hear a knock on your door in the middle of the night & open it to find corey covered in blood, your instinct isn’t to deny him entry. no, you’re too attached to him now. & even though he’s the one asking for help, it’s you that needs him. so you let him in. you clean him up. you comfort him. & with the energy corey’s buzzing with, he pins you down & kisses you roughly.
