Mina had never really been in a relationship, not a real relationship until Phoebe. She genuinely fell for Phoebe, many of her usual ways falling to the wayside. Her feelings terrified her, so she broke up with Phoebe. She used the excuse of them being graduating and leaving for college, they both deserved to have their options open. In reality, Mina was terrified of falling for Phoebe any more than she already had and she broke Phoebe's heart instead.

Esma used to like Graham when he and Dilan first began dating, but she pretty quickly turned on him when she saw how he treated her best friend. Now, whenever Esma is in the same room with Graham, she's always rolling her eyes, making pointed comments toward him, and there have been times when she will really get into it with him. Rhys would kill for Callie. Rhys would do anything for Callie. He's pretty convinced that they're the best person he knows. But he's definitely threatened to kill someone for them before on a number of occasions. I would say Evan possibly, but Rhys is well aware that Evan would do it themselves and he would just proudly look on. Also his and Evan's unborn baby.

I would say Amadeus, but I'm not sure if admire is the right word for how Beck feels about his father. He dislikes him, really desperately wants his approval, but still doesn't really admire him all that much. He might admire certain qualities that Amadeus has though.

Mina is altogether probably too trusting of most people, but aside from her family (because she trusts them all wholeheartedly), she probably trusts Zara the most of other people. She knows that Zara will love her no matter what.

Who isn't Rhys jealous of? He's always been very jealous of Cade because Cade had Lavrants as a father, but that's been crushed at this point. He's jealous of Marius, though that's sort of faded, he had a moment of being jealous of Elijah (and probably still is a little jealous, he has issues). He's overall just a very jealous person.

She has a hard time sort of acknowledging or recognizing it in herself and so she doesn't really care for herself? She'll seek out someone else to comfort her, usually her mom or siblings, or Zara, but she doesn't ever really know how to explain what she's feeling. Or she'll reach out for physical attention from other people in place of dealing with her emotional needs.

what they wanted to be when they grew up

When she started her psychology degree, she had sort of vague dreams of being a profiler or something of the sort, but that mostly stemmed from enjoying shows like Criminal Minds.

Late summer kind of weather when the days are very warm, maybe even hot, and then the nights are cooler.

Probably not great, but not the worst? She wouldn't ever actually use it though, like she would purposefully sing in a very exaggerated, goofy way if she's hanging out with friends or just in a yelling the words to a song with friends at a party.

She doodles on napkins in her free time at The Buzz House, usually writing different things in block letters. In school, she would doodle inside and around any text on handouts she received.

Sexuality Headcanon - Mina hasn’t really questioned her sexuality aside from just knowing that she isn’t straight. She’s known that since she was pretty young and she’s always been happy to tell anyone. Her first and only relationship that lasted more than a week was with a woman and Phoebe was really her first love.

Gender Headcanon - Mina has never really explored her own gender identity beyond just accepting that this is how she identifies now and that may change later. 

A ship I have with said character: Mina and everyone. Mina has passing crushes on just about everyone, especially Zara and Jesse and I really love all of their interactions. I also really like her interactions with Tavi, Cade, and Phoebe (even though Mina and Phoebe break my lil heart). 

A BROTP I have with said character: Mina and Zara are beautiful and Mina gets so heart eyes with Zara. Mina and Jesse because she’s so soft with him. I really like Mina and Wes’s relationship. BIOGRAPHY ;;

Mina grew up in St. Augustine, Florida for the first several years of her life. Her mother’s family was originally from Huntsville and it wasn’t until she went to university and met Mina’s father that she moved. Mina’s father was a professor at a local university and her mother was a sous chef at one of the local restaurants. She has three older siblings, two brothers and a sister. Due to both of her parents working long hours, Mina was primarily around her older siblings or running around with other neighborhood kids. 

When Mina was 10, her father was offered a position to conduct research across the country in his field. For the first several months, the family made it work, but eventually it created a strain in her parents’ marriage. Eventually, the two filed for divorce and her mother received custody of the four kids and her father went back to his research. The Davis family moved to her mother’s hometown in Huntsville for further support from Mina’s maternal grandparents. 

Mina wasn’t thrilled about the move, she missed her friends and her neighborhood. Her grandparents didn’t let her run as wild as her parents had and her mother was rarely ever around with a new position at a local restaurant. When Mina finally graduated high school, she went off to attend university far, far away. She was closer to her father (only about an hour away from where he had settled), but she hardly ever saw him. 

University life quickly grew on her and Mina decided to make the most of her time. She spent her entire freshman year partying, making friends, and skipping most of her classes. The damage to her GPA was pretty immediate and that was when her parents issued her an ultimatum: she pulls herself together or she has to find a way to pay for school herself. 

She tried-- at first. She declared a major (psychology) and actually studied. She did the work, though it certainly wasn’t up to the standard her professors expected from her. At the end of her sophomore year, she was going to have to begin to pay for her own schooling. So instead, Mina decided to drop out and take online classes through a smaller, local school. She moved back to Huntsville and her family helped her get set up. She got a job as a barista and spends most of her time working or doing online classes-- at least that’s what her mom believes. In reality, Mina is frequently showing up to work hungover and trying to leave early, going out with friends and generally “wasting her life away”.

Mina isn’t a bad person by any means. She makes terrible choices and always chooses a fun option over something she deems “boring”. She really does care about learning about psychology, though she prefers to take charge of her own education and research topics that interest her. 

She is the drunk girl in a bathroom. She will support anyone, hype her friends (and even random strangers!) up, and never leave an inebriated pal alone. She is incredibly affectionate and loving toward her friends and loved ones. 

She has taken far too many walks of shame back to her dorm room or back home. She loves to flirt and is always up for a good time, as long as there is no long term commitment.

Best Friends - Mina is super, super social and will befriend just about anyone, but these are the people that she would ride or die for. Mina is one of those people that have very little shame and therefore it takes a lot to make her embarrassed. She'll gladly embrace the typical kind of embarrassing instances or just kind of shrug them off or bring it up later to focus a conversation on her own embarrassing moment if someone else is being embarrassed about something.

That said, anytime one of her friends says something about Pike or if Pike is talking to her friends, you can bet that Mina is red in the face or being all "oh my GOD PIKE GO AWAY". She then has to turn around and do the same thing to him. But she loves him, she really does.

waning: what is your biggest regret?

I don't have any regrets, I don't like to hold onto any of that. Probably how I treated Phoebe with our break up. It was pretty shitty of me and not what she deserved. She deserved a lot better than me.

Probably just myself...I used to trust my mom and dad with that kind of stuff, but I think their right decisions and my own are probably total opposites right now.

what’s your muse’s favorite album of all time / favorite artist?

Mina is a huge supporter of random Soundcloud artists and would listen to them like 80% of the time. She also really enjoys Dua Lipa.

Rhys either has a nice set of pajamas that he’ll wear to bed, something potentially monogrammed and pretentious or straight up nothing. He’s got a robe that he’ll wear when he’s just hanging out at home.

Aaron - 100% yes. Aaron really enjoyed being married to Maddy and he definitely has a “white picket fence” dream, though the having kids aspect makes him nervous.

Mina - I think she’d be open to getting married, but could also potentially feel really “trapped”. She’d love an open marriage though!

Rhys - Probably not tbh. He can’t imagine ever being all-in on anyone but himself. He would probably marry Cade to piss off her ex-fiances though.

Blaire - Potentially. I think they’d be okay with it there was someone that truly saw and understood them.

Aaron - I know they’re not technically flowers, but I feel as if Aaron has a soft spot for dandelions because he probably gets kids coming in and giving him them all the time. Absolutely will tuck them behind his ear for the kids.

Mina - Lillies of all kinds. Probably likes tigerlillies or daylillies the best because of the vibrant colors. Would probably cry happy tears if someone gave her flowers tbh.

Rhys - Orchids probably. I think he’d probably be pretty dismissive about receiving flowers, but he would definitely gift them. 

Blaire - Daffodils. Blaire would definitely enjoy receiving flowers, though she definitely wouldn’t care for them the best.

(I totally waited too long to answer this BUT I’m going with these questions! And I’ll be ambitious and do all of my muses)

10. what shampoo scent do they like the best and why?

Aaron - Something basic and simple, tbh. He probably changes it up as well because I completely imagine him putting shampoo (and conditioner) on his like list of things he needs and then getting to the store and forgetting what brand he usually buys. He does buy separate shampoo and conditioner though.

Mina - She wouldn’t be particularly picky about what she uses as long as it’s something meant for her hair type and smells good. Honestly, she probably cares about smell more than the actual purposes of the shampoo and also 100% asks Zara/her mom to pick something out for her.

Rhys - Something expensive and fancy and will absolutely be a snob about this if anyone asks about it. 

Blaire - She definitely orders special shampoo that she has carefully discovered is perfect for her hair. She will order it in bulk because of fears that it will be discontinued.

34. are they the jealous type? what are they most likely to be jealous of?

Aaron - In a relationship, Aaron is definitely not the jealous type. He might get a liiittle jealous of Maddy and her husband, but it’s more of the perceived life that the two have with each other and Aaron wanting to have had that life with Maddy. He also might become a little jealous of like some colleagues at times, but he would never let it affect his relationship with them.

Mina - Absolutely not. Mina is a very free love, loving herself kind of person. She doesn’t get jealous as of yet. Maybe that’ll change someday!

Rhys - Absolutely. He’s probably my most jealous muse tbh, He doesn’t want to imagine anyone being better than him and if anyone tries to compete with that or he perceives someone as being better than him at something, he’s pretty jealous right away. 

Blaire - Also very very jealous. Blaire wouldn’t necessarily get jealous in a romantic sense, but if they’re noticing someone else kind of have their dreams come true, it makes Blaire really jealous.

45. what’s their dream job/profession? do they have one?

Aaron - Teaching. He really loves teaching and feels that he’s really found his mission in life to be always teaching and learning along with his students. In the future, he’ll probably want to switch into a role where he can be teaching other teachers to continue enriching the lives of his students. 

Mina - Probably something related to travel so that she could just wander and meet new people and have these grand adventures. She has this idea of using her psychology degree but she’s also gradually slipping away from it. She isn’t really sure what she actually wants to do with it now. 

Rhys - Something where he can make a lot of money while doing very little and looking good. It’s part of why he went into his current profession. He can tell others what to do and he looks good from staying in shape. The money part just comes from his family and he can’t really imagine that ever stopping. 

Blaire - A ballerina or dancer. Blaire would ideally want to be performing on stage every night.

Mina is majoring in psychology, not for any number of the deep reasons that she’s heard her classmates discuss. Not anything about wanting to help others or become a school psychologist.

Holden: Maybe kind of? He has some qualities and habits that lean toward that but he's also quite grounded when it comes down to what he deems as really important.

Mina: She definitely looks up to all of her siblings in different ways but she probably wouldn't ever tell anyone about that? If someone were to ask her who she looks up to, she would pull random names out and name relatively surface level reasons for it.
