The High Court has given 3 weeks time to the Punjab government to remove these picketing demonstrations. The court has said that if these protests are not removed within three weeks, then they will be forced to issue strict orders. The High Court judge made these comments during the hearing on the petition filed by Advocate Ravi Kamal Gupta on behalf of Arive Safe Society Chandigarh.

The DGP was summoned by the High Court :-

The DGP was summoned by the High Court. He has been staging a sit-in on the Mohali road for a long time. Earlier also, the High Court had reprimanded the steps taken by the government to end the protest, terming it as an attempt to throw dust in the eyes. The High Court said that the government has failed to vacate the road from the protesters. Regarding this, the DGP of Punjab was summoned to the court, he also appeared in the court on Wednesday.
