4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

All of it. But honestly, “I learned to dance as a way to rebel“ is pretty damn great. None of this will win Nebula awards but it sure makes me pleased as fuck

7: Where did the title come from?

“Plumette loved it, not him, just it—the way the whole world around him was lit by the sun.” It sums up both Plumette’s love for Lumiere and how the vignettes of her life the fic describes felt for her. It’s also a callout to ‘days in the sun,’ to remind the reader that these warm moments won’t last forever.
