Wandering through the Pizzaplex--finally having been around there long enough to not immediately get lost--it wouldn't be long before your destination was reached.

Plushtrap had insisted on being held in your arms for the moment, which wasn't really a problem--holding the little rabbit was always rather nice, really.

In the beginning, he hadn't been accompanying you--but with a mix of curiosity and the distress of your disappearances, it wasn't before long that Plushtrap had made up his mind.

Momentarily, he glanced around, shifting slightly in your hold, before looking up. "Where is this area that we're supposed to be meeting?"

Smiling softly, you slowly shifted a hand's position upward, as to be able to give the animatronic rabbit a little pat right between his ears. Plushtrap shut his eyes.

"It's just up ahead, buddy." You answered, pointing--even though by the time your hand was lowering, he still hadn't yet reopened his eyes.

He did, however, pop them open when the creaking door alerted him, and it promptly shut behind the two of you with a slam a second or two later.

Hopping out of your grasp, the small rabbit began to inspect the room--easily spotting MXES, who was floating off to the side, and giving a wave.

For just a second, you remained focused on Plushtrap, before making way over to the familiar 'entity', who had a rather large grin--one of the biggest that you had seen in a while.

Usually, you couldn't quite reach the face--MXES just tended to be both rather tall, and would float too high--but it seemed that, in preparation for you, MXES had floated down.

"Hey..." You murmured softly, hands reaching forward, and being placed on either side the entity's face. Almost instantly, MXES seemed to lean into and relax in your touch.

A low hum came from MXES in response.

Leaning forward, you gifted the entity with a kiss on the nose.

From behind you, Plushtrap spoke back up. "Are you two gonna need a room?"

Your response was only a gentle smile and a light snicker.

21. Mirth of a Nation

Admittedly, I’ve only seen this episode all the way through once. The lack of Hare made me lose interest in watching it a second time. So I was surprised that it was actuary much cuter than I remembered! The choreography for “Serious Party” was hilarious. And everyone throwing jokes at the Queen at the end, going off in different pairs, was cute too.

If I had more time this week I though I would have Ike to have gone a couple pictures for this episode. Rabbit rolling around in the long cape and hood is really calling to me. And of course the first appearance of the disguise glasses.

I was also really impressed with Armelia McQueen’s acting in the scene where she changes from grumpy to cheerful again. She really pulled it off and her whole being became bright and just more vibrant. That’s how I Ike to remember her. 😌

I don't know if this bit is staying, but I do love that 'wascally wabbit' bit. And also I've made the personal revelation that Bart should be compared not to the Road Runner because he's fast, but to Bugs Bunny because he's associated with hares, incredibly popular in his school as well as just likable, always managed to get out of trouble/turn things to his favor (like Bugs), and has a penchant for skirts like Bugs Bunny.
