Flew to Sanghai via China Eastern Airlines for a layover. I had studied up a lot for a visa-free entry but getting in was a lot easier and smoother than I thought. I guess my fingerprint registration from my trip to Beijing in April still was on file: I have to give my props to China! I finally got to take the Maglev from the airport, which I really had been excited for the most even tho it was Europe trip xD But the maximum speed was only at 300 km/h which is the same as the Tohoku Shinkansen :( that was a bit of a letdown. Also i couldn't use wechat pay and Alipay even tho i had set them up because my card required two-factor authentication. My boyfriend could use Alipay so that really saved us tho. You really don't have any rights and almost die without online payments in china, no joke. It was my second time in Shanghai (third if you count just the airport) and I feel the vibrant energy of china so much from this city and that was a lot of fun! I had no issues with internet connection cuz we use eSIM that worked with Japanese and American apps, but navigating in China is a whole different story compared to other countries where Google Maps smoothly guides you through every transfer. That element of thrill makes China exciting i thin (though it's a bit scary if you don't prepare in advance, especially since people don't speak English) Love the terminal at pudong airport, the view of which looks like a lot of missiles on the celling.

Transportation from China to Canada under Global Trade
International commerce supports the global economy in today's linked world by facilitating the transfer of goods and services across nations. Freight from China to Canada is one of the busiest trading routes. This route demonstrates the complexity and difficulties of international logistics as well as the strength of bilateral commercial partnerships. We will dig into the complexities of moving cargo from China to Canada in this essay, looking at the routes, means of transportation, and dynamics of global commerce.
The Value of Trade Between China and Canada
China and Canada's economic relationship has grown significantly over time. Canada's abundant resources and agricultural goods have made it a desirable destination for Chinese imports. China is Canada's second-largest trade partner. The two nations' combined commerce in 2019 was an astounding $92.4 billion. As a consequence, there is a constant movement of goods between these two countries, which keeps the economy moving.
Making the Right Decision
In order to move products from China to Canada, it is crucial to choose the best route possible for transportation. Air freight and sea Freight from China to Canada are the two main choices.
Maritime Logistics:
The overwhelming bulk of items are sent by ship from China to Canada. Containers are transported by ships laden with a variety of goods, including electronics, textiles, and equipment. These goods must leave from important Chinese ports, including Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Ningbo. The central locations are Canadian ports, including Vancouver, Montreal, and Halifax. Despite the fact that it might take several weeks for products to arrive at their destination, the transpacific route is one of the most popular choices since it provides affordable transportation.
Air Transport:
Air freight is often employed for high-value, time-sensitive commodities even though sea freight is the most cost-effective option. The quickness and effectiveness of air transportation are advantageous for things like electronics, medical equipment, and perishables. Significant airports, including Beijing Capital International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and Hong Kong International Airport, are linked to Canadian hubs like Toronto Pearson International Airport and Vancouver International Airport via air freight lines between China and Canada.
Getting Around Regulations and Customs
International shipping involves navigating both nations' regulatory and customs regulations. Both exporters and importers are required to abide by China's and Canada's legal and administrative requirements. This entails delivering appropriate paperwork, following customs protocols, and making sure that goods adhere to the necessary safety and quality requirements.
China Customs and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) are in charge of implementing these rules. It is essential to have a thorough understanding of import and export laws in order to guarantee quick and easy customs clearance.
Taxes and customs may significantly impact the price of shipment. The 2012 Canada-China Free Commerce Agreement has aided in the reduction or elimination of several tariffs on a variety of items, fostering commerce between the two countries.
The Function of Freight Brokers
The shipping procedure from China to Canada may be made simpler with the help of freight forwarders. These logistics professionals aid in planning the flow of products, making sure they arrive at their destination on schedule and in excellent shape. In order to reduce the burden on enterprises engaged in international commerce, goods forwarders manage paperwork, customs clearance, logistics for transit, and more.
Challenges in International Shipping that Are Changing
The Freight from China to Canada confronts a number of difficulties even though it is crucial for both nations. The current worldwide shipping container scarcity, which has driven up freight charges, is one of the most significant. This problem was made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in supply chain interruptions that still have an impact on global commerce.
International shipping is becoming more concerned with environmental sustainability. With a greater emphasis on utilizing more environmentally friendly fuels and enhancing energy efficiency, China and Canada are both working to minimize the carbon footprint of their transportation networks.
In order to link two countries with strong economic cooperation, goods from China to Canada are a crucial aspect of international commerce. The movement of commodities between these nations depends on the skill of goods forwarders, careful route planning, and observance of laws and regulations. However, as global commerce develops, issues including environmental sustainability and a lack of shipping containers will continue to affect this vital route. The future of this dynamic economic relationship will depend on navigating these difficulties while encouraging the expansion of commerce between China and Canada.

With China Eastern’s support, Delta became the first foreign airline in China to offer TransChina in June 2018. How to arrive in Qingdao China from Beijing? (Update for 2022)
As mentioned in our last paragraph, when you travel to China there’re three main destinations-Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport & Beijing Capital International Airport.
There are two airports in Beijing City, Beijing Capital International Airport(PEK) & Beijing Daxing International Airport(PKX).
Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) is the main airport when you arrive in Beijing. So today we’ll talk about how to get our Qingdao City-Our lash factory.
From Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport (TAO)
By air
It’s the same situation with from Shanghai city, you can directly fly to Qindao Jiaodong International airport (TAO), there’re several flights everyday so you don’t need to worry about miss a flight. The discount cost ranges from $100 to $250, during big holidays price will be higher, and takes 90-120 minutes. There are also some transfer flights you can choose if you’re in a hurry, but better to schedule your routine beforehand, you can check Beijing Capital International Airport official website https:/www.bcia.com.cn/index.html for details you need. Click below circled language option if the pages are not in your native language. There’re detailed information and service hotline available in the pages, during the COVID-19 you can also get detailed Chinese relevant provisions on epidemic prevention and isolation information from here.
By train
To take a train to Qingdao City you need start from Beijingnan Railway Station, so first we should manage to arrive at Beijingnan Railway station from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK).
You need to reserve at least 110 minutes and choose an airport express, subway or taxi to go through the process.
The most recommend public transport line is as below:
From Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK), take the Airport line and get off at Dongzhimen Station, from here take Subway Line 2, after 8 stops, transfer Subway line 4 at Xuanwumen Station, and then after three stops, you’ll get Beijingnan Railway Station.
From Beijingnan Railway Station to Qingdao, there’re two destinations- Qingdaoxi Railway Station & Qingdaobei Railway Station, to both station it’ll take around 4-5 hours, cost around $60-$180.
Qingdaoxi Railway Station is located at seaside and there are many hotels and restaurants around, you can enjoy the seafood and beautiful seascapes in 10 minutes after you get off. Qingdaobei Railway Station is with a little distance from downtown, but 20 minutes by Taxi you’ll arrive downtown as well. Qingdao is a city surrounded by water on three sides so there’re many sites you can enjoy the sea. Though Qingdaoxi Railway station is far from downtown, it’s near the factory, and the traffic is good.
Of course you can schedule your train from Beijing to Qingdao via China railway official website: https://www.12306.cn/en/index.html.
The same situation as airport website, click below circled information to verify the language into English then you can find most information you need here.
By long-distance Bus
This is also the least recommended route because it’ll take 10-11 hours, cost $40-$50. The Bus station is near Beijingnan Railway station, so to get there is same routes:Airport line-Subway Line 2-Subway Line 4 and get off at Beijingnan Station.
To take a long-distance bus, your origin is Beijing Yongdingmen Long-Distance Bus Terminal, and your destination isQingdao Sifang Long-Distance Bus Terminal.
In the same way, when you go back your country, go back to the same airport, train station and website to order your return ticket or use your familiar agent online.

The equipment includes 722,000 surgical masks, 100,000 N95 masks, 19,000 surgical gowns, 19,000 goggles, and one million pairs of medical latex gloves.
On Wednesday, Liu Xiaoming, China's ambassador to the United Kingdom, said during an online donation ceremony, that China and the UK have a "firm determination" to join hands to overcome current difficulties.
Liu said: "The virus does not respect borders. The virus does not discriminate. People of the world must work together if we are to win this battle." He said the donation demonstrates "the global vision of Chinese businesses" and "the friendship between China and the UK".
"It is also a vivid illustration of the China-UK 'Golden Era'," he added.
William Russell, the Lord Mayor of London, said the generosity of CCCUK, Bank of China and its broader community "really is astounding".
"The ventilators and PPE equipment on their way to hospitals, to healthcare professionals, and to communities across the UK will, quite literally, save lives," he said.
The CCCUK organized a fundraiser titled "UK and China, United We Stand" on Feb 28, to support China's fight against novel coronavirus outbreak at that time.
"Back then, it was the City of London showing its commitment to China," Russell said. "And now, China is reciprocating, and showing its commitment to the UK."
Fang Wenjian, chairman of the chamber and general manager of Bank of China London Branch, said the current situation in the UK is similar to the situation in China "not long ago", and so "the CCCUK has asked our members to do all we can to contribute to the UK's fight against the virus.
"Following the call, Bank of China, with strong support from our head office and domestic branches in China, has moved quickly to procure much needed ventilators and PPE, and donate them to the LMA to be passed to the National Health Service (NHS), caring homes, and local communities," he said.
The CCCUK said that the batch of medical supplies will be the first of many donations received by the LMA from Chinese enterprises in the UK.
"Many other Chinese companies have also shown their commitment to donating more ventilators and PPE. The CCCUK and LMA will work together to facilitate the provision of these critical materials to where they are needed most," Fang said.
