Another Sim drawing from last weekend xD. Swipe for original snapshot. . Puck was admiring Thomas, but he admires other Sims quickly because of his Nice personality. Challenging angles though, esp Thomas' tilted en profil face angle 😅. But thanks to practicing some gesture drawing, I know better how to tackle difficult poses. I also experimented with sketching guidelines and gestures first with a light crayon and then do the linework with ballpoint pen.

Puck Summerdream (age N/A):

Puck Summerdream is secretly an immortal fairy, so when he appeared to be murdered in course of a criminal investigation, he actually just had his magic drained and ended back in the fey realm for recuperation. It might be another decade or two before he can put together a human form again.

Before he was “murdered” Puck was one of the city’s best defense attorneys. He had a real talent for finding the wrongly accused, and an equal talent for arguing their innocence in court.

Since he’s not actually dead, Puck can occasionally pull together enough essence to give his old mentee, semi-competent defense attorney Mercutio Monty, a few hints in the courtroom. Together, they managed to convict his murderer.

Secret Passion: Cuff-links. And magic, of course. (Don’t tell Mercutio, but he always thought Merc was kind of cute.)

i don’t expect anyone to ever answer me on this, but

what happened to pucksummerdream?? I followed them forever ago before I officially got a simblr, and they are honestly my favorite one on here. I followed them IMMEDIATELY when I got a tumblr/simblr, but I forgot to follow their non-simblr tumblr. And now I try to visit their tumblr and it’s either gone or I need a password. I’ve only been on tumblr for a year, so I have NO idea what this means.

This is definitely old news, but I am devastated :(

hi it’s @pucksummerdream! i recently deleted my main blog by mistake, which also took down my simblr! oops! i’ve contacted Tumblr support and tried some different tools to find some sort of archive, but it looks like it’s gone for good. :(

i’m not really sure what i’m gonna do about New Sons or any of my other active challenges/stories that i was gonna continue. i think under normal circumstances i would have rage quit the Sims for a while tbh, but it’s quarantine and i’ve started some new projects. because of course i have.

I have re-rolled my Sims’s wants from the Pleasantview neighbourhood going via the rules set by @pucksummerdream’s “Rerolled Premade Rules” (previous post I’ve recently re-blogged) and I put Kaylynn Langerak in. 

She rolled the Grilled Cheese aspiration! 🤣🤣🤣 Poor girl’s going to be serving her kids nothing but that!

Its so fun playing sims 2 and remaking pleasantview, as a kid only played it as a family oriented game- so I really started exploring drama in the last couple years. Like sims 4 makes everything so easy, actually havin to work to make better relationships (In this run I ended up having Lilith move in with her grandparents and then the sister reconnecting in college bc it was too toxic). And Dustin working so hard and not getting to go to college cause his grades ended up so shit tough!

i dont think ive ever played a serious sims 2 save for myself ever (i always get bored and kill my sims off or have them fuck random townies... sickening). i like the idea of lilith living with herb and coral tho 😳 i might steal that for my pv im gonna post (i think simhealing or pucksummerdream did something with that idea once but idr i thought it was interesting)

What do we know about the Newsons? That their adoptive parents untimely died (for some reason, the spanish translation adds that they died in a car crash) and that their adoptive mother was named Gloria. I never liked the Newson family tree not showing the parents, and the children not remembering their death, so I decided to make them in CAS. And since the Newsons are all adopted and we only know about a mother, why not two mothers?

Sadly (and expectedly) they died at the begining of the round, giving their children bad memories as they should, and leaving Garrett and Georgia aspiration levels in the deep red. I love the idea of keeping the Newsons all together, but I'm also a big fan of @pucksummerdream​ New Sons and since I read it I liked the idea of them being adopted by different families in the same hood. I kept them together once and I found it easy to do so, so let's see what's happen now! If I can avoid the social worker visit, they'll stay togeter; if I can't, the children and toddlers will be sent to different families.

Spoiler: THIS IS NOT EASY TODDLERS WITH ASPIRATION LEVEL IN THE DEEP RED ARE JUST IMPOSSIBLE

6) 3 things other simblrs did this year you thought were really good?

-Oh, this is hard. Everyone is so creative and I love reading everything sims, and people’s legacies/BACCs. But if I gotta pick ones, my mind immediately jumps to: yours and moocha’s Nekojima. It’s just stunning and so in depth and I’ve had a lot of fun playing it. Also @nappe-plays-the-sims‘ Widespot because DRAMAAAA. And I really like @pucksummerdream ’s New Sons. 

Also:  Dan from @moocha-muses‘s Owl Creek, Who doesn’t love/hate him, I mean...I just loved seeing Dan and all his chaotic evil lmao.

9) 3 things you enjoyed in your game this year?

-I loved mapping out ideas, backstories, and typing out rules for my ‘hoods. It’s fun and makes me more excited to play. Creating original sims, and  decorating ‘hoods. It’s just soothing, and then, when you’re proud of it and you think it looks so pretty, it feels so nice to load up.

Also: sim parties/dates/outings!! I loved  playing through all the wedding parties, get-togethers, dream dates, and outings I’ve set up for my sims.
