location: UCLA Campus in the quad by the fountain
summary: It would seem Morgan's latest gesture of love ended up revealing a lot more to each other than any of them had been prepared for, but maybe in a weird way, it's something like progress. They're communicating at least.

MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN settled himself on a low stone wall near the campus quad, hat tipped just enough to shield his eyes from the afternoon sun. He didn’t mind the wait; in fact, it was almost perfect. Made the whole thing feel a bit more cinematic. He glanced over at his little band - a few students he’d rounded up near the music building - who were waiting nearby, their instruments ready. He hadn’t rehearsed much beyond the first verse, but he didn’t think he’d need to. Morgan had put everything into this moment: the flowers, the food deliveries, all the little reminders of what they used to mean to each other. Even after what had happened at Bree's apartment, he was still determined. And today was about showing up. About looking them in the eye and singing his heart out in front of the whole campus if he had to. One of the students with a ukulele gave him a thumbs-up from across the quad. They were in position, just waiting for Morgan’s cue. All he needed now was Eva and Puck. Minutes ticked by, and a few passing students shot him curious looks. Morgan just smiled, nodding back politely.
Finally, he spotted a familiar figure rounding the corner, while another one was coming out of the building to his left. His heart gave a hopeful thump as he saw them - Eva and Puck, busy with their day. “Alright, y’all,” he said, standing up and nodding at his makeshift band. They straightened, ready to play. Morgan took a deep breath, his voice rising, in the most terrible way, as he started singing the first line of the song.
"Uh oh, there you go again, talkin' cinematic Yeah, you You're charming, got everybody star struck I know how you always seem to go For the obvious Instead of me But get a ticket and you'll see"
The strumming started up behind him, blending with his voice as he stepped forward, singing directly to Eva and Puck as they came closer. Students around him paused, whispering and pointing, but Morgan kept his gaze on Eva and Puck, his voice unwavering. He was all in, hoping that maybe, just maybe, this one last gesture might be the one that pulled them back to him.
EVA ANDERSON
EVA had finished up her classes for the day and was trying to decide what else to do today. With Blaine back in the city and at home with their parents, she figured it couldn't hurt to go hang out there and clear her head for a bit, since she'd probably just order take out and drink a whole bottle of wine if she went home alone again anyways. She had just walked out of the building when she noticed a bit of a crowd forming on the quad, but she quickly brushed it off as some dumb ass TikTok trend or something the kids were involved in and just kept scrolling through some of her texts.
It wasn't until she heard that horrible singing, followed by the melody of a Hannah Montana song, that the realization kicked in. "What the—" Her words were cut off as Morgan actually started to approach, and it was only then that she spotted Puck coming their way too, and she was sure that she'd never been more embarrassed. Why was this happening? Why was there a band? Why was there a crowd watching and judging? Part of her wanted to just run the fuck off, but that somehow would've been even more horrendous than Morgan's singing was, so instead, she just shook her head in response.
"Morgan, please stop singing!" She whined just loudly enough for everyone for to hear. "Puck, can't you stop this? Please?"

PUCK was still trying to figure out his schedule now that he was actually trying to understand himself and do better. Therapy was even more emotionally taxing on him then he thought it would be. Then with the ambush on Jake's birthday, and having to see Eva and Morgan again, he was just trying not to slip back into his normal bullshit. So keeping himself busy and on schedule kept him from dwelling too much and ruining whatever progress he'd made. Putting on his Happy Puckzilla playlist also helped him between tasks, like now as he was walking to get ready for his security shift. So he'd almost missed the commotion happening by the foutain.
But it was hard to miss a swam of band kids playing a familiar melody. Pulling out his earbuds, he thought someone was doing a flash mob or something, and hey, he was a fan, sue him. Then a familiar, not very good, rang out, singing what he now Recognized was, If We Were A Movie from Hannah Montana. As Morgan came into view, so did Eva and Puck probably should have just popped his earbuds back in and kept walking. If for no other reason than to make good on his promise to respect Eva's boundaries and stay away from her. But then she said his name, even said please and he couldn't go if he wanted.
Unfortunately, for Eva, he also couldn't do what she was requesting. "Nah, I think he should finish. He got a whole band out here." Crossing his arms over his chest he looked at Morgan, waiting for him to continue.
MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN's voice wavered slightly as he heard Eva’s mortified whine cut through the song, her tone more desperate than he’d expected. He faltered for a second, the words catching in his throat, because he'd expected her out of the two of them to want this. But then Puck stepped in with that maddeningly cool smirk of his, crossing his arms and saying he should finish. Puck wasn’t just giving him permission; he was actually encouraging him, which only strengthened Morgan’s resolve.
"If we were a movie You'd be the right guy And I'd be the best friend That you'd fall in love with in the end We'd be laughing Watching the sunset Fade to black Show the names Play the happy song"
He shot a wink at the two of them, his voice a little louder, a little bolder now, filling the quad as he belted out the familiar, sugary lyrics about relationships, movies, and fairytale endings. He couldn’t help but glance between the two of them as he sang, hoping they’d catch the look in his eyes - the way he meant every word, even if it was wrapped in Hannah Montana cheese.
Somewhere in the middle of the second chorus, the security guards stepped in front of him, blocking his path, their hands raised in a silent order to stop. Morgan didn't stop though. He just kept intense eye contact with both Eva and Puck.
"Yeah, yeah, when you call me, I can hear it in your voice Oh sure, want to see me and tell me all about her La la, I'll be acting through my tears I guess you'll never know That I should win An Oscar for the scene I'm in"
The guards looked at each other, clearly unimpressed, and started pushing Morgan to get him to back up. He didn't quit though. Instead, he used his tall body to stand his ground, as he kept singing.
"Wish I could tell you there's a twist Some kind of hero in disguise And we're together It's for real, now playing" The melody built up, and the security guards kept pushing Morgan back.
"Wish I could tell you there's a kiss Like something more than in my mind I see it could be amazing"
Morgan held the long note, closing his eyes as he felt the song deep in his soul. He didn't stop singing the note, until the security guards gave him one final big push, causing air to come out of Morgan's lungs, and he fell backwards, over the half concrete wall, right next to a couple sitting and making out, and he felt his upper body move under the cold water of the fountain in the middle of campus. The shock of it caused the band to stop playing and for Morgan to sit up immediately, supporting himself on his hands and he sucked in a deep breath, the water running down his face.
The crowd started laughing, pointing and clapping. "Alright, buddy, time to end the show, get up," said one of the security guards. And as Morgan opened his eyes again, they caught Eva and Puck's and he sighed deeply, beginning to get up and out of the fountain, the water dripping off of him.
EVA ANDERSON
EVA had no idea she'd be subjected to a show today, especially one like this, but she hated it. Maybe if it hadn't been so public, or if Morgan's singing hadn't been so bad, but when Puck seemed entertained by all of this, she reached over and swatted his arm. "You're not helping!" She groaned, and of course he'd be enjoying it. And when Morgan just seemed to take that as a nudge to continue, making the performance louder and continuing to go through the rest of the song, she was sure that her cheeks were growing a light shade of pink as she noticed a few phones up and recording Morgan. "God, this is embarrassing." She groaned once the security guards stepped in. Part of her was praying that Morgan would have caved in at that point, or that Puck would have chimed in and asked his coworkers to let him handle it, but it was clearly too late for that now.
Once the song finally came to an end, Eva barely even had time to decide on her next move before Morgan was falling into the fountain, causing her to gasp in response. This whole thing had gone from bad to worse now, and honestly, this should have been the perfect time to make a sneaky exit, yet she didn't move. Not yet. Once Morgan resurfaced and the guards tried to urge him out again, she finally turned back to Puck. "You wanna go help him out here?" She questioned curiously. "Even if we don't talk to him, maybe we just escort him out of here instead of your coworkers doing it?" The man had just serenaded them in front of a crowd, so the least they could do was just get him out of here before the security guards really got annoyed.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK couldn't help but turn his smirk into a genuine smile as Eva swatted him for being unhelpful. With Morgan standing in front of them, in all his romantic cowboy glory and Eva beside him radiant and blushing, it felt like everything was gonna work out. Maybe, Puck just wanted to hold on to that feeling for as long as Morgan could carry a tune. Which as he continued Puck was reminded that while enthusiastic, it was in a key all it's own and there was something endearing about that. It was sweet and Puck found himself appreciating the gesture. Most folks, especially in L.A, aren't embarrassing themselves like this unless there is a decent sum of money in it for them in the end.
"Yeah, so embarrassing." He said with a laugh to his tone as he brought out his own phone to record. Having learned from his younger brother, always be recording. As his coworkers came into view, they didn't notice him at first and after the first little shove, Puck knew exactly where this was going. The big ass fountain behind Morgan was the only place for them to push him into in the direction he was moving in. Eventually his coworkers made eye contact with him and they looked at him, as if to ask, you wanna handle this? and he signaled back, nah, do what you gotta do.
As Morgan hit that high note and held it, Puck knocked his shoulder into Eva's, turning his phone toward her before turing it to himself and then back at Morgan. Just in time to catch his epic and inevitable fall into the fountain. If you've never seen a six foot five man fall, many is it a long way down, not to mention the distance that splash got. Then Eva seemed to be taking pity on their man, "Yeah, alright, I got it." Putting his phone away, Puck jogged over and tdapped up his fellow security guards, thanking them for the entertainment, before telling them he'd handle it from there. "Come on man, let's get you into something dry." And he led them back to Eva so they could all go to his break room an get Morgan something to wear.
MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN surfaced from the fountain, sputtering and blinking through water dripping from his hair. He could hear laughter and applause rippling through the crowd, and though his cheeks burned with embarrassment, he managed to keep a sheepish grin on his face. 'Well', he thought, 'at least I went all in'. He looked around, trying to get his bearings, and caught sight of Eva and Puck standing nearby. Eva looked half horrified, half amused, her hand covering her mouth, while Puck was full-on grinning, recording the whole scene on his phone. Despite the complete flop of his performance, seeing them both there - watching him, staying through it all - gave him a flicker of hope. When Puck broke away from Eva and came over, Morgan forced a laugh, slicking his hair back and wading out of the fountain. “Well, I didn’t quite see that one coming,” he said, trying to downplay the mortification tightening his chest. Morgan gave a grateful nod at Puck's suggestion, trying not to slip on the wet stone as he climbed out. The crowd started to disperse, a few students giving him amused pats on the back as he passed. He shot them a cheeky, lopsided smile, trying to shrug off his own embarrassment. 'It was worth it', he told himself. 'Even if I just looked like a damn fool'. They regrouped with Eva, and Morgan felt a warmth spread through him despite the cold water soaking through his clothes. She hadn’t left, and neither had Puck. He felt almost giddy, even though his boots squelched with each step. “So,” he said as he walked up to Eva, tossing a hopeful look between her and Puck, “what d’ya think? Was I…too much?” He tried to keep his tone light, but there was a nervous edge to his voice.
EVA ANDERSON
EVA made a mental note to make sure she wasn't tagged in any videos on social media of this whole thing, since she could barely bear the embarrassment now. And of course Puck wasn't helping the situation at all, but she should have expected that when she was somehow stuck with two dumbasses. Luckily it was all over now, to an extent, and she was relieved when Puck took pity on Morgan and went to rescue him from his coworkers. As the crowd finally started to go mind their own damn business, she felt a small weight lifting off of her shoulders now. Or at least she did until Puck and Morgan were coming back her way. She wasn't ready for whatever was about to happen, but she hadn't left before so she was kinda stuck seeing where this all went. At Morgan's questioning, she rolled her eyes at him. "Yes, you were too much! Why couldn't we have done this somewhere private?" Eva whined, and she truly would have preferred that over such a public display of...whatever it was. She still wasn't buying the love thing, and she assumed that's what the performance was about, but she still didn't believe Morgan about this love shit. "And you sounded even worse than you did the last time you tried the serenading thing." Needing to get out of the middle of the quad, she spun around and started walking, figuring they were heading to Puck's break room. "Let's go before I go back to being pissed at both of you." She called out.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK found himself distracted as Eva started walking away. Her ass in those pants almost making him completely miss what she had said. Jogging to catch up, once he processed, he led them to the break room. Suddenly, hyper aware that they were all together again. Not together but the last few times he'd seen either of them it had been so heavy and sullen, and maybe there was still a bit of that. But there was also something else there, something lighter. As they approached the break room, he asked two dudes if they could give them the small space. As they left, Puck went to the locker with clean and fresh school merch in it and prayed something in Morgan's size was there. Picking out the best options he also grabbed a towel and threw it at the tall man. "I ain't got any shoes in your size but i can run yours through the dryer for a few minutes, with your socks and underwear." He put the change of clothes down on the nearest surface and looked between his two ex lovers before realized Morgan was gonna have to get undressed for this. "Uhh, hold on, I can- here." Grabbing another towel, he threw one end at Eva to hold up in front of the cowboy. "It's all I got to give you some privacy, not that it's anything we ain't seen before." This was fucking awkward for so many reasons, the main one being that Puck kept looking a little too long at a soaked Morgan and come on. Dude might have broken his heart but fuck him, he was hot in a soaked through tshirt and jeans. Naturally his eyes moved over to Eva, which was a fucking mistake because if Morgan is hot Eva is a league all her own. I mean, everything she wore fit her body like it was tailor made just for her. Trying not to be a fucking creep toward either of them he just looked at his feet and willed them to be less attractive to him the next time he looked up.
MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN caught the towel Puck tossed at him, grateful but also feeling the heat rise in his cheeks. Eva’s eye-roll and Puck’s distraction hadn’t gone unnoticed, and he couldn’t help but grin at the idea that his stunt, despite the embarrassment, had gotten under both their skins a little. Even if Eva called him out for singing worse than the last time, and Puck had taken his sweet time coming over to help him. When Puck held out the second towel for privacy, Morgan chuckled, wiping his face and ruffling his damp hair. “Thanks, darlin’,” he said, aiming for a playful wink at them. But he could feel the nerves creeping in. He’d gone all out for this, and now that they were alone, there was no band to cover up his fumbling words or hopeful glances. He hadn't planned for this to happen. Unbuttoning and peeling off his soaked shirt, he grabbed the fresh one Puck had found, glancing up only to find them both looking his way a little too long. It was hard not to feel the flicker of tension between the three of them in this small break room. As he turned, the tattoo he’d not realized he'd even gotten during his wild night out with Bree peeked out, catching in the light. Eva and Noah inside the little heart. It was a drunken decision, and despite not realizing it was there, he rubbed the spot unconsciously, feeling a bit more exposed than he intended. Unbuttoning his pants, he started pulling them down, along with the wet boxers that clung to him. "So, uh...what are y'all doing after this?"
EVA ANDERSON
EVA didn't know why she was being thrown a towel, since Puck just pointed out that this was nothing they hadn't seen before, but she also didn't need to see that right now while she was still a mess of emotions. "Noah, you could just find him some shorts or something too, and then we could've stepped out while he got changed." She stated, yet she stood up anyways and held the towel up. It didn't exactly help all that much, but she just tried to avert her eyes to anywhere other than either man as Morgan got rid of his shirt. Her plan had worked right up until she noticed something out of her peripheral that made her whip her head back around to Morgan, or his body anyways. She was far too pissed at them to be imagining things, not that she would have even remotely conjured up what was staring her dead in her face. It certainly hadn't been there the last time she'd seen him topless, which felt like forever ago, honestly, and him rubbing the spot signaled that it was mostly new. For a minute or so, she couldn't even form any words to express the amount of questions her mind was flooded with, and him nonchalantly carrying on as he kept stripping hadn't helped. Snapping out of her trance as he spoke, Eva shook her head. "Morgan, why — what is that?" She asked, and now trying to give him some privacy was the least of her worries as she lowered her arms and tossed the towel aside. Her eyes briefly glanced at his dick before she refocused on the tattoo, which was the important matter here. "I may be drinking heavily lately, but I know my eyes work perfectly fine. Puck, you do see that too, right? You have to. You can't miss our names being tattooed on him, right?"
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK was trying to be a gentleman about the whole thing. Not look, and if he did to maybe not look too long, but when he looked up again to find they were still just as attractive as they had been a minute ago, he just gave up and let his eyes wonder where they wanted to. Although he did try to avoid looking at Morgan's chest for too long. Just as he was about to answer, 'Work.'to Morgan's question when Eva did a double take. Clearly she was seeing something Puck couldn't from where he was standing. As soon as she revealed what exactly she was seeing he moved closer to her until the tattoo was in view. Without thinking he stood directly in front of the other man and reached out to traced the letters with his fingers. Something in his heart fluttered at seeing his name, his birth name, on this man's ribcage. He didn't even register that he was still touching the man as he looked back at Eva, unsure of what to say. Looking back at the tattoo, fingers still ghosting over the outline of the heart. "It's real." He finally said out loud, looking between the two. "I mean, it looks... new." Realizing he probably shouldn't be touching it, he quickly removed his hand. "Shit, man, sorry. Did I hurt you?" He asked concerned, but before Morgan could answer he was speaking again. "Why?" It was a dumb question, Puck knew it was probably another grand gesture but it didn't even seem like Morgan was aware of it? But how could he get a whole ass tattoo of their names and just... not know?
MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN's cheeks burned as he caught the stunned look on Eva’s face, quickly followed by Puck’s as he stepped in to get a closer look. The warmth of Puck’s fingers tracing the letters on his ribcage made Morgan’s breath hitch, a quiet flutter in his chest as he watched both their reactions with clear confusion in his head. Suddenly, as Puck continued to touch it, images of a wild night out with Bree started flooding his mind. He didn't remember much, but something about him laying on his side and watching Bree fight some tattoo artist, while he was getting poked at, started to become much more vivid. He swallowed, watching as Puck’s fingers hovered there, then slowly pulled away, and finally managed a soft laugh, shaking his head. “No, you didn’t hurt me. I haven't- err....felt it. I didn't even know I had it!” He met Puck’s eyes, before letting out a nervous chuckle. "I don't remember getting it, honestly. It happened during a- um...kind of crazy night out with Bree, I think. Drunk me must've thought it was a good idea.” He rubbed the back of his neck, before turning to Eva. He let out a breath, and this time, he didn’t hold back. “I guess I miss y'all more than I have actually been letting on, and in my drunken state, it came to surface.” He caught himself, trying to find the right words. “I'll get it removed, if you want."
EVA ANDERSON
EVA was stunned, to say the least, and she didn't even flinch as Puck traced over it to ensure that it was in fact a real tattoo. The man had clearly lost all of his marbles now if this was how he was choosing to prove his love, since that was entirely too permanent just to prove something. And him not seeming to even realize what they were making a fuss over only confused her more, at least until he started explaining it. Of course this involved drinking, but with Bree? Had Bree not remembered it either since she hadn't said anything to her about it? Or worse, had Bree done the same thing and gotten a stupid tattoo on her body too? She made a mental note to call her as soon as this was wrapped up and she was going her separate way again, but for now, they had a bigger issue. When Morgan verbally owned up to missing them and that probably being why he's gotten it, she sighed. Of course that's what it was. Add that to the way he'd been trying to shower them with love, if that's what he wanted to continue calling it, and it was truly starting to freak her the fuck out. "Can we all just slow down for a minute?" Eva groaned as she turned her back to the tattoo and Morgan's dick, which she didn't need waving around in her face right now. "Puck, grab his clothes and go dry them. And then please find him something so we can put his dick up.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK was so confused. What did Bree have to do with any of this? I mean, he knew they knew each other, but he definitely didn't know they were close enough to have a whole drunken night of shenanigans together. But why were they getting drunk enough to forget a whole fucking tattoo anyway? As Morgan admitted to missing them, Puck felt a little part of his resolve soften. Maybe it was just because he got it, he missed them too and he wanted them back. Which seems crazy to him, not him wanting them back but how important they had become to him in such a short amount of time. And subsequently, how quickly and catastrophically he fucked it all up. Now, he wasn't doing all this self improvement and no sex and no drinking just to win them back, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't hopeful of a reunion some day. Puck didn't even have time to comment on Morgan's offer before Eva was turning away and begging for him to give the cowboy some clothes. Looking at the other man, he was surprised to find he had completely forgotten that he was butt ass naked. Grabbing the clothes off the table he'd put them on he handed them to Morgan before gathering his wet stuff and throwing it in the dryer. "Should be good to go in about twenty-five minutes." He said as he walked back over to them, pulling out chairs for them both to sit in. "I don't really know what to say so I'll just go with, it's good to see y'all, even if it is kinda fucked." He plopped himself in a seat.
MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN chuckled under his breath as he took the dry clothes from Puck, slipping on the shirt first and taking a second to ground himself. He could still feel Eva’s lingering skepticism, but he wasn’t surprised - it was her way of staying guarded, of protecting herself from whatever nonsense he was dragging her into. He pulled on the clothes, grateful for Puck’s attention to practicality, and finally took a seat across from them both. “Alright, alright,” he said, giving Eva an almost sheepish grin. “I know this looks crazy. I know it’s permanent, and had I been sober, I would probably have chosen a more hidden place.” He shrugged, one side of his mouth twitching up, as he joked. “But I guess that’s me, huh? Always doing things a little bigger than necessary.” He leaned forward, his elbows on his knees, looking from Eva to Puck. He knew he’d come in here with his heart on his sleeve, maybe for the first time in his life. They both had every right to be wary, every right to roll their eyes at yet another one of his schemes to win them back. He’d messed up before, had his fair share of selfish moments, but he was trying his best to navigate how to get out of that. “I miss you both,” he said, his voice quieter now, no hint of the usual cowboy charm he liked to put on. “Not just as a couple but as people who were my best friends. I miss bein' able to talk to you two, to joke around, to share those parts of myself I never did with anyone else.” He looked up at them, his gaze soft but full of an honest intensity. “And if this is what it takes to show you I’m serious, then I’m all in.” Leaning back, he folded his arms, willing himself to keep it together. He’d bared it all, and he knew there was no going back now. He didn’t expect anything right away; he didn’t even know if they’d give him a second chance. But he wanted them to know that he’d fight for them, even if it meant he had to face every ridiculous situation just like this one.
EVA ANDERSON
EVA was grateful that Puck had clothes to put Morgan in, but she still didn't like the idea of being in a room with them for any longer than she'd already been. Everything was still too fresh for her, and she hadn't exactly been handling it well at all, judging by the empty wine bottles in her condo, so being stuck with the two men responsible for her current state of mind was asking for trouble. But as they both sat down, she found herself sighing and doing the same. After all, if Morgan was going to these lengths to get their attention, she might as well get this over with now. She remained silent as she let them both speak, mostly because she didn't really know if there was anything she needed to say to them that she hadn't already done. Sure, maybe she did miss them, but that was buried somewhere under the hurt and the rejection so she wasn't about to say it. But when Morgan decided to expand on what he missed about them, she had to chew on the inside of her cheek to stop herself from tearing up. This crying thing was really starting to piss her off, yet it was also starting to become something she couldn't fully control either, which was equally annoying. But once Morgan was finished, all she could do was shake her head. "I don't believe that — I can't believe that. You slept with your girlfriend right after telling me how you felt, and then you immediately started love bombing us. Did you even cut things off with her? Or are you still trying to juggle us and her?" Eva questioned curiously, since it was important to get all of the facts out. "And since we're here, I just need to know something. You both had me and each other, but then you chose to go fuck other people. Why? Any time either one of you wanted to have sex, I didn't say no, so why wasn't that enough?"
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK listened as Morgan spoke and he still found himself so hesitant to believe him. Logically, he understood what the problem was, it had been explained to him but it wasn't until Eva spoke that it clicked. How could Eva and Morgan believe that he has actual feelings for them when his actions haven't aligned with what he has said? While he has been working on himself, trying to do all the right things, he made another mistake. This whole time he has been telling himself that he needs to leave them alone because he isn't good enough for them. Because he can't be good enough for them. But that isn't true. He chose not to be a good enough man for them. Chose to suffer in silence. Chose to sit in his pain and his depression instead of getting himself the help he desperately needed. Chose to believe his father, a man who doesn't even know him, over the people in his life who know him better than he knows himself. Chose to go on that date with Kurt instead of communicating with Eva and Morgan. Chose to try and cover the hurt he caused them with a deceleration instead of an apology. Chose to get drunk and make more bad choices. Over and over and over again, Puck made decisions throughout his entire life that have lead him to Eva asking this exact question he's been asked various times over the years. Except this time, he's got an answer. "Because the problem wasn't with you or with Morgan, it was with me." He said, not giving Morgan a chance to speak first. "I convinced myself I wasn't good enough for either one of you. So the more I wanted one of you, the more i felt for you, the harder I fought it. Had myself thinking I was a good guy for pushing you away. Truth is, it was just easier to do what I've always done then it was to do what I needed, because that would have meant looking at myself and I've recently figured out that I hate myself. So the last thing I wanna do is see myself. I'm working on it because I never ever wanna hurt anybody the way I hurt y'all, because I never wanna disappoint my mom, my kid, my brother or Santana the way I have been. But mostly, I don't wanna hate myself anymore." His voice got a bit shaky on the last point but he managed to get through it without more than a couple tears falling and he was kinda proud of himself for letting them fall. "And just because I understand why I've made the choices I've made doesn't mean it excuses any of the hurt I've caused. Y'all never deserved that and I'm sorry." He said sincerely looking between the both of them.
MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN swallowed, glancing from Eva to Puck and feeling a strange heaviness settle over him. He could see the pain etched into Eva’s face, the questions and accusations laced with her confusion and hurt. And then there was Puck, laying his own broken pieces on the table for them both to see, like some puzzle Morgan wished he could just put together with his bare hands. He could almost hear his own heart pounding, pushing him to say something - anything - that might start to patch things up. Taking a deep breath, Morgan started slowly, his gaze softening on Eva. “You’re right,” he said. “I made choices that hurt you both. I was lost in my own head, and all I did was leave y’all tangled up in my mess. And I’m sorry.” Morgan shifted slightly, trying to keep himself grounded as he explained. “There’s nothing with Serena. No feelings, no thoughts, nothing. I know that now, but I’d be lying if I said it was clear to me back then. I thought maybe I could numb the hurt, maybe distract myself from missin’ you two - that feeling became too much, I was seekin' anythin and anyone out to get it back. I get now how messed up that was. I wasn’t honest, and I hurt you both in the process.” Morgan bit the inside of his cheek, his hand resting over his tattoo as if it somehow steadied him. “But, I ended things with her. It meant nothin’ to the both of us. And that was a slap in the face I needed, to realize what I was losing right in front of me. You’re it for me, both of you. It’s why I showed up here today, why I dragged a whole band across campus.” He let out a short, humorless laugh. “Not because I think one song’s gonna change things, but because I want you to know I’ll do whatever it takes to prove it. To show you what love is to me.” He exhaled, shoulders slumping slightly, his voice steady but vulnerable. “I I just hope y’all can find it in you to believe me this time. That I’m here, and that I’m tryin’ to make things right. Because there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”
EVA ANDERSON
EVA didn't have a clue what sort of answer she was expecting to hear, or if she was just hoping that neither one would have an answer today, but of course they both had explanations for it. First Puck's came, and she wasn't exactly surprised that she understood it. She hated that Puck had just assumed the worst about himself and let it influence his actions, but she was glad to hear that he was trying to better himself. It was still a lot to process, and she didn't even have time to do it now because then it was Morgan's turn. Maybe she should have asked them this individually, and on separate days, so she had time to breathe in between their responses, but it was too late now. And as much as she didn't want to let this stop her from being mad at them, she felt her guard slipping just a little bit as Morgan finished. "Well..that wasn't what I was expecting." She sighed. "But I hear both of you, and I appreciate your honesty now. Even if it feels like it's a little too late." Eva truly didn't know what she wanted anymore, not after they'd both hurt her the way that they had, but having some sort of an answer as to why they did what they did made things a little clearer for her. "Both of you had to sleep with other people to know that you wanted this, so maybe it's my turn to do the same thing to decide if I can forgive you, or even trust you enough to risk getting hurt again. I thought fucking Noel once would be enough for me to make a decision, but I still don't know what I want so maybe I need to go back for another round, or two. Or maybe I need to just go get attention from someone else and see if that chooses for me. I don't know." Eva wasn't aiming to make them jealous, not entirely anyways, but they were on a roll with actually communicating, so she did want them to hear this from her and not someone else later. "If it helps though, I do miss you idiots too." She hated being vulnerable, but it felt like they needed to hear that after her admission.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK didn't even know how to process or what to feel about anything Morgan just revealed. What was he suppose to say to any of that? He was still trying to wrap his head around the man having his government name permanently etched onto his body. Made him wonder how Eva was managing to process anything the two men just said, fast enough to do anything other than just walk out. But, she was always better than him and Morgan with the whole communication thing and the being honest thing, so maybe he shouldn't be assuming it's difficult for her because it would be for him. Although, he did manage to hear that he'd ended things with Serena and that it apparently didn't mean anything and he felt a pang in his heart, because he still cared about his former friend and no matter what she said to Morgan, he knew she'd had feelings for the cowboy. But another part of him was glad that she was likely in pain because he didn't want her, because he wanted Puck and Eva and everything they could have been. Which was definitely fucked up on his part, but he'd work through it later. Once Eva started talking, Puck's focus shifted to her. Not sure what he was expecting her to say, but waiting on baited breath all the same. Trying not to imagine the worst but also trying to be realistic about it all. It was difficult for her, who was such a zero percent or one hundred percent kind of person. So if he wasn't optimistic he was catastrophizing and living in extremes wasn't healthy and he was trying to work on that too. So instead of imagining, he just listened. It wasn't that bad, didn't love that she had slept with someone else but it was somewhat expected and she was right. She deserved to go out in the world and be doted on and catered to by anybody and everybody. Wait... he didn't even get to appreciate her saying she missed them, because he finally registered the name of the dude she's hooked up with. Noel. There was only one dude he knew with that name and he was easily the coolest dude he'd ever met. Plus he had his shit together and he was fearless and objectively fucking hot and technically family. Fuck. "Noel? Ramos Lopez? Santana's brother? My kid's uncle? That Noel?" He didn't have a right to ask, it wasn't his business, except it kind of was, the dude was invited to fucking Thanksgiving.
MORGAN WESTON
MORGAN's pulse thundered in his ears as Eva’s words hung heavy in the air, each one sinking in like a sharp hook he couldn’t shake off. Noel. She’d been with Noel. Out of every damn person in the world, she’d gone to one of the guys in Morgan's inner circle. His friend. He felt his jaw clench, a tidal wave of jealousy swelling in his chest, white-hot and blinding. He didn’t even realize he’d stood up, his hands balled into fists at his sides. His voice came out low and gravelly, edged with the barely contained fury coursing through him. “Noel, huh?” he growled, giving a bitter, humorless laugh. His gaze flickered to Puck, a warning there, and then back to Eva. “You slept with Noel.” Without waiting for a reply, he ran his hand through his damp hair, each second fanning the flames of his anger hotter. The image of Noel - his friend - getting cozy with Eva - his... Ms. Anderson - felt like a punch straight to the gut, the betrayal slicing deep. Morgan felt like an idiot standing there, soaked from his fountain encounter, wearing whatever Puck had given him, trying to win them back only to find out she’d already been in someone else’s arms. Morgan’s gaze was fierce as he met Eva’s eyes one last time, the hurt flashing beneath the jealousy. “Take your time, Eva. Fuck him all you want if that's what it takes,” God, it hurt to say that “but despite how much it hurts to know that you're doin' this, I'm gonna keep showing ya how much y'all mean to me.” The only thing running through his mind was the need to confront Noel, to hear straight from him why he’d decided to cross this line. His blood was boiling, and he could already feel his fists twitching at the thought of their inevitable encounter. He turned on his heel, his anger fueling every step. He was out the door and down the hall, heading for his truck, heart pounding and not caring what he was wearing. He now only had one place to go to: Noel's.
EVA ANDERSON
EVA could still recall the way Morgan got in his feelings about her agreeing to a simple date with someone else after he'd been on a date and doing who knows what else with his little girlfriend, so she already knew he wasn't going to handle this little bomb well. Yes, she had wanted them both to be jealous, mostly because they deserved it after what they'd done to her, but she didn't really know how else they would process it. As Puck started questioning which Noel she was referring to, she could only duck her head slightly when he pointed out that he was her kid's uncle. She hadn't been thinking about it that way at the time, nor had it even been planned really. She was emotional, Noel showed up in her class, and they just went at it. But she couldn't tell him that, and before she even had the chance to say anything else, Morgan was standing up. She knew he was mad or jealous or something, and she was unsure of where this was about to go until he sort of gave her permission to do it. She didn't need it, since she would and could do whatever she wanted to do after the way they'd fumbled her, but Morgan deciding that it wasn't going to stop him from trying to prove how he felt caught her off guard. "What?" That was all she could get out before he was leaving, and Eva sighed before she turned to face Puck. "Yes, Noah, it was that Noel. But I swear I didn't just do it because of who he is to you, or to Maya, or..whatever. It just happened. I know that's cliche as hell, but both of you hurt me and I haven't been dealing with it well, so when he stopped by my class to sit in, I just needed to stop thinking about all of us and he was there. That's it." Maybe that was playing it down just a tad bit, but Puck didn't need to know that. "I'm sorry. Not that I did it, but that it was someone you kinda have ties to, and I really didn't do it on purpose."
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK couldn't say he was surprised by Morgan's reaction. Dude has made it clear, even when it didn't make sense, especially when it didn't make sense, the he didn't so well with the mere concept of Eva or Puck being with anyone else, let alone them actually being with someone else. Up until now, though, Eva had never go there with anyone and Puck just wanted to know why these two couldn't fuck folks he didn't have to interact with on a damn near daily basis. Just because he doesn't go out of his way to see Serena doesn't mean she isn't still his next door neighbor and he would never be able to escape Noel. As Morgan up and left, shoes and underwear still in the dryer, he just let the sound of drying shoes drown out everything else for a few minutes. It wasn't until Eva started talking that he came back down to earth. It was weird, having her sit there and apologize and reassure him that she didn't mean to, that it just happened, that she just needed an escape and he wondered if maybe now, even if she never forgives him, maybe she can understand that the shit he did wasn't about hurting her, he was just fucked up. There was too much to process. Between Morgan's who show and everything he said after, to all the broken pieces Puck shared and now Eva revealing her new fuck buddy or whatever Noel was to her now. So, he just got up, went to his locker, changed into his uniform and turned back around to face, Eva. "You don't have to apologize for anything. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you I'm okay with it. Beause I'm not, to be clear. But I ain't got no right to comment on who you choose to do anything with. Noel is a good dude and he's cool and good looking and I am jealous as fuck that he got to be with you like that." He move closer to her, so he was right in front of her, his eyes never leaving hers. "But you got every right to do whatever and whoever you want or need to put yourself back together after we ripped you the fuck apart." His eyes scanned her face and all he wanted was to hold her, hug her, kiss her cheek, her forehead, just touch her, to ground himself but it would be selfish, so instead he put his hands in his pockets. "I hate that I hurt you, but I did and I'll regret it for the rest of my life." His hand found it's way out of his pocket to rest on her cheek, the pad of his thumb tracing over the soft skin. "I'm so sorry, baby." It slipped out, but even after he realized he didn't take it back.
EVA ANDERSON
EVA honestly didn't know why she was apologizing at all, even if she had slept with someone that had ties to Puck. He had slept with her friend, Morgan slept with Puck's friend, and now she'd slept with his baby mama's brother so she was just tipping the scale here. They both should've just been grateful that she'd been upfront about it instead of letting them find out from someone else, which would have been worse, in her opinion. But it was out there now, and part of her was expecting Puck to get mad too when she confirmed which Noel it was, so she could only raise a brow as she watched him go to his locker and put his uniform on now. Once he finally started speaking, she sighed softly when he seemed to be accepting what she'd done, to an extent anyways. He felt precisely how she'd wanted him to, and part of her ego was in fact stroked by that little tidbit. But then Puck walked over and stood in front of her, and she couldn't even enjoy making him jealous now. Again, she didn't need permission from the two people who had betrayed her, but there was something about the way Puck was looking at her and being far too understanding of where she was coming from with her actions. Maybe she had just needed to hear one of them say that she had every right to do whatever she wanted to do to put herself back together after what they had done. It was good to hear it, but Puck being soft as shit while he reassured her of it was another thing to push her into lowering her guard just a little bit. "Noah.." She mumbled just before he kept speaking, and she finally let herself tear up now. Both Morgan and Puck had apologized now, more than once, and she did believe that they regretted it, yet she still wasn't ready to just fold. Though, she leaned right into the hand as it cupped her cheek, and when he called her baby, Eva's resolve faltered as she stood up and kissed him softly. She was still hurt, and still needed time, but this felt right for now so she let it happen.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
PUCK thought he was prepared for any kind of reaction. I mean, a slap to the face would have made more sense to him than what Eva actually ended up doing. Not only did she not seem mad at him for the slip ups, she was saying his name in that way she use to, soft and full of warmth. And when he saw the tears, he immediately went to wipe them away, but before he knew it she was standing up and he'd only had a millisecond to process what she was about to do before she did it. Fuck, he'd missed this, the way her soft lips left against his. Brining his other hand up, he craddled her face and immediately kissed her back. This felt like a dream, a part of him had been convinced that he would never get to have this again and even if it was only for this moment, he was going to enjoy it. Never again would he take a single second she gave him for granted. Instincts too over and he found one of his arms wrapping around her waist to keep her as close as she would allow. For a second nothing else existed, just this kiss and the hope it reignited in him. Suddenly his mind was filled good outcome and every positive possibility. There was hope, for him, for Morgan and Eva to all find their way back to each other and in this very moment, he knew, he could never let them go. They were worth every ounce of fight he had in him to be the man they always deserved. Pulling away, just to breathe, he placed two more soft kisses against her lips and rested his forehead against hers with a ghost of a smile on his lips. "My memory really doesn't do you justice."
EVA ANDERSON
EVA was sure that this was the wrong thing to do when Puck was working on himself and she was torn on what the hell she wanted to do about the throuple, but her body had a mind of its own and felt the need to kiss him. Maybe it was because he'd stuck around, let her apologize, and then agreed that she could do what needed to do. Hell, maybe if Morgan had handled his jealousy better she would have kissed him too. Though, she was almost positive that if Morgan were still here they'd be diving head first into make up sex, and they hadn't even made up yet so that would have been a horrible decision. As if this one wasn't already. Letting Puck pull her closer, she couldn't deny that she had fucking missed this, missed being touched by him, and by Morgan, even if it was just something this simple. But that sensation was also starting to cloud her judgment, so she was slightly relieved when the kiss was broken. She let him give her two more pecks before their foreheads were connecting, and she smirked when he finally spoke again. "Sadly, the real thing will always be better than a memory." She pointed out before she slowly pulled away from him. "But before we get ahead of ourselves, I should go, and you should go to work." Eva stated, sighing under her breath. "And uh...when I'm ready or when I make a decision, I guess, I'll let you and Morgan know." She promised, and with that, she finally headed out, knowing she needed to get her fucking head out of the gutter and back on straight if she were going to figure out her next move.

Maybe she's not perfect but she the exact right person to be Puck's mom and he loves her more than anything, except Maya.

When Puck was a kid, up until he was about ten years old, his father was his hero, he wanted to be him when he grew up. Use to sing and play guitar, was even pretty good at it. But eventually he got old enough to realize his father wasn't a good person. For his whole life, Puck's been Gabe's verbal punching bag. Sibling #1: Jake Puckerman ( @puckjake )
Age: almost twenty-six (26)
Relationship: Even though they only recently found each other, they have quickly adopted each other as family. It's sweet and precious and Puck loves being a big brother.

it's all in the things you didn't say || PUCKEVA
tagging: Eva Anderson & Noah Puckerman
date & time: October 19, 2024 in late morning, early afternoon
location: Puck's house, in the front yard bu the rose bushes
warnings: none!
summary: This conversation has been a long time coming, but Puck still wasn't prepared and Eva probably wasn't expecting all of that either.
word count: 4,560
EVA had been so fucking relieved to get home, shower, DoorDash herself a 5-star fucking meal that she scarfed down in minutes, and then just sleep. She'd slept in the next morning as well, and had been prepared to just stay wrapped up in bed all day until she started getting texts from Santana Lopez. She knew her, to an extent, and the woman gave her a brief yet detailed rundown of her connection to Puck and what she thought of the throuple before urging (or politely demanding) that she come over and at least let Puck see that she was okay post-lockdown bullshit. She only spent half an hour debating it before she got up, tossed on a pair of leggings, a tank top, a pair of sneakers, and tossing her messy hair into an even messier bun. In no mood to worry about make up, she grabbed her purse and keys and headed to her car. This was stupid, she knew that much, but mostly because Puck's baby mama had planned it and he had no idea she was even coming over. But after opening up to Morgan, it was only fair that she do the same for Puck, so she sucked it up and drove over to his house anyways. As soon as she pulled into the driveway, she saw Santana get up from the porch and head inside as she parked. "Puckerman!" Santana yelled out once she stepped inside, and she waved off Jake and Maya giggling over on the couch. "You have a visitor outside, pendejo." The Latina stated smugly before she motioned for her kid and her uncle to go play video games or something as she noticed Eva climbing out of her car.
PUCK had damn near ran all the way home after they finally released them from lockdown. Six fucking days. Dude was starving, tired, exhausted and in desperate need of a shower. But more than anything he wanted to see his kid. Thankfully his truck was wear he'd parked it and despite sitting around for almost a week, it didn't seem to have a scratch on it. After he hugged the absolute fuck out his daughter and his mom, he was not so polietly told to deep clean himself. Before he knew it Jake and Santana were filling his home with warmth and laughter and for the first time in a week, Puck felt whole again. Which is why he didn't say anything when everyone was still there the next morning using up his showers and eating his food. In fact, he couldn't stop smiling. He was in the kitchen with his mom, letting Santana and Jake occupy Maya outside while he talked to his mother. Just as he was going to start a legit conversation about all the bullshit he couldn't seem to sort through on his own, his baby mama's voice rang out in the house and then Maya and Jake were coming inside and- "I have a visitor?" He said to his mom like she'd know who it was. Confusion on his face he walked to the front door passing everyone's amused faces. When he opened the door, the last person he expected was standing in front of him. Dressed down, but looking good, unharmed, safe and a sense of relief he didn't know he was waiting for washed over him. "Eva? What're you doing here? You okay?" He was still just standing in his doorway.
EVA was..she honestly didn't even know what all she was feeling right now, but it was clear that everyone else seemed to be in on this forced visit, yet she didn't know how Puck would feel about it. And once he came to the front door, she inhaled a small breath. "I'm okay. I just.." She paused, unsure of what exactly she was supposed to say about why she was here. Luckily, she didn't have to. Groaning from behind Puck, Santana rolled her eyes before she shoved him out of the doorway and onto the porch. "Remember when you wouldn't listen to me during lockdown? She listened to me. You're welcome." She sassed before shutting the front door, and Eva was slightly amused at the fact that there was someone else who could boss him around, and she now knew exactly where Maya got it from. But now that they were alone, mostly, she knew she had to just start talking now or she wouldn't ever do it. "Right, well..I'd say I'm sorry for just showing up unannounced but she kinda demanded it after she told me she was Maya's mother and she thought that seeing with your own eyes that I was okay might be good for you." She explained nervously before she took a few small steps towards him. "I'm fine, and Morgan's fine. We were completely unharmed in everything, aside from being fucking irritated by everyone, but we're good. And I would hug you or whatever, but first — what the hell happened to your hand?"
PUCK let out a breath when she confirmed she was okay and he was just about to move them outside to the bench in front of the rose bushes, when he felt a hand on him, shoving him forward and the door shutting on them. The former Marine made a mental note to yell at the mother of his child later for meddling when he specifically told her to back off. Not that she'd listen, but it might make him feel better about being blindsided with Eva at his door. "Yeah, she's... somethign else. You didn't need to come just 'cause she told you to though. It's good if she doesn't get her way all the time." He smiled and as he was going to step forward to get to the bench she stepped closer so he stopped and just let her say what she needed to say. Oh, so her and Morgan had been together, that was good. Even better that they had been unharmed by the earthquake or the general fuckery of lockdown. Although, maybe he was the only one dumb enough to hurt themselves after an earthquake. Speaking of, he looked down at his hand, he had just redressed it after his shower this morning, mainly so no one had to see the wounds. "It's just a minor injury, I'm fine." He started walking toward the rose bushes to get out of earshot of the nosiest people on planet earth and probably any other planet. Gesturing at the bench he waited to sit until she did. "You said you and Morgan were good, does that mean y'all were together?" He asked hoping they had at least had each other if no one else the last week.
EVA shrugged at Puck's words. "She's persistent, but she made several good points. And all things considered, even if the earthquake wasn't as big of a deal as they made it out to be, I kinda wanted to see you too, just to be sure." Luckily they'd gotten the texts to go through days ago so she knew he'd been in one piece, she just needed to see it too. Luckily Santana had already mentioned that he was hurt, she just told Eva she'd have to ask him how it happened since she'd read his texts and knew they had both tried telling him not to do anything stupid or heroic, and he hadn't listened. Not surprising. Watching him walk over to the bench, she sighed at his gesture before she walked over and sat down. She let him ask about Morgan before shaking her head. "Not..exactly." She muttered. "My group's last move was to the school cafeteria, and Morgan, Jake, and Bree were all there. Oh, and your little friend Serena was there too." She stated with an eye roll. "I hate her, by the way, and I'm pretty sure she's scared of me now, as she fucking should be, but I do know that she for sure has feelings for Morgan. And I don't know how you feel about that, but..I was prepared to beat her ass if it came to that. And Morgan isn't exactly dumb or blind to the fact that she wants him, but I dunno, it kinda seems like he's leading her on since he's not putting an end to it. Which..before I go into the real reason why I'm here, I have to ask: do you have feelings for Kurt? Is that why you...you know?"
PUCK didn't really know how feel about Eva wanting to see him, it was a very different vibe then the one she was putting off toward him before. Maybe she was still dealing with the lockdown of it all and was just too tired to be mad right now. Either way, he figured he shouldn't ask questions and instead just roll with it. Getting comfortable as she gave him way more information than he was expecting, he put his arm around the back of the bench and when she mentioned Serena's name he couldn't help but look over in the direction of her house. While Jake has mentioned being with Eva, Morgan and Bree eventually, Puck hadn't asked a lot of questions so he wasn't sure about the timing of any of it. Not knowing what to respond to first he just looked at her for a second. No make up, hair was haphaardly put up, and she was wearing legging and comfortable looking shoes. Puck had never seen her like this, she looked soft and real and he just wanted to hug her. Instead he took in a breath and sat up. "Yeah, Jake mentioned y'all were together but I didn't know if you'd been together the whole time or not. Not really sure what to say to that but I mean I feel like I can't stop anybody from liking him, not really sure how I feel about it being Serena but I guess I'm not surprised. If he ain't stopping it then maybe he's into her too." Yeah, that didn't feel great to say but what could he do? They were broken up and again Puck was confused by Eva wanting to beat her ass or scare her, isn't she mad at him and done with all of it? Part of him just wanted to focus on why she was really here because he thought she just wanted to appease Santana by letting Puck see she was truly okay with his own two eyes. The other part of him, figured he owned her an answer to her question. "Nah, I didn't have feelings for him, I didn't really know him. Met him at that zodiac party and knew he was interested in me so I asked him out after I saw Morgan going on a date with Serena and when I came and saw you and you were going out on a date. It was dumb, I now that, but I just didn't wanna be the only one not seeing other people."
EVA should have expected Puck to just kinda go along with the Serena and Morgan thing, and it would have pissed her off if she wasn't already an emotional wreck. And for all she knew, Morgan was gonna handle that eventually, so she was trying to remember that it wasn't what was important right now. She only told Puck because unlike they'd done before, she was trying to keep all three of them on the same page. After all, she knew the implications of that not happening firsthand now, so it would be dumb to make the same mistake again. Listening to him answer her question, she nodded along, and she guessed it kinda made sense. "For the record, I wasn't going on a date like that. It was drinks with a friend." She stated, and then she exhaled a deep breath. "I never told you or Morgan this before, but I don't exactly do the feelings or relationship thing. I avoid it, honestly, so accepting how I felt about you two was hard. Really fucking hard, especially since I didn't know if the whole throuple thing was just sex for you two or if it was more than that. And I didn't even mean to tell Kurt, it just kinda...slipped, but then I was trying to work up the courage to tell you two while you guys were making a decision without me. A stupid decision that if you two had even told me about after you made it, I probably would've forced myself to come clean about the fact that I was ready to be all in, with both of you, and then none of the other shit would've happened." Shrugging, Eva could feel that same annoying feeling in the pit of her stomach, and if she could have stopped it, she would have. "That's why I was pissed about the date thing. I felt blindsided because both of you agreed to seeing other people but I didn't, and I didn't even find out until it was too late, and then I felt stupid for wanting to be with both of you when you clearly didn't feel the same way." She confessed as the tears started flowing a little too freely for her liking.
PUCK really just didn't know how to take any of this. Apparently he and Morgan decided to date other people with her, but he didn't know they were exclusive at any point. I mean, he thought they would be, that they were close to having another conversation about it, which is why he was thrown off by them going on dates. Although, apparently, Eva wasn't going on a date date even though she called it a date. And at the end of the day this entire situation is entirely his fault, he never should have said he was trying to be cool with the idea of Morgan and Eva dating other people. If he had just shut the fuck up for once in his life he wouldn't have hurt Eva or Morgan and they'd probably be fine. This was on him. It always had been, he just didn't want to see it. He shouldn't have said what he said to Morgan, he should have told them both how he felt. He should have told them he didn't want to date other people and he didn't want them to either. He should have communicated and because he didn't now they're broken and hurt and he can't blame anyone but himself. A sentiment he was about to share but then Eva was talking about and in the blink of an eye she was crying. Not that he didn't think she could cry, it just didn't seem like something she would do. Fuck, what am I suppose to do, what's the right thing to say? Do I hug her, do I say I'm sorry? It was definitely taking him too long to respond but he had already ruined everything once and he didn't trust himself not to ruin this. He was going to do or say the wrong thing. He always did and said the wrong thing. Fuck, fuck fuck! Do something, you idiot. He reached out a hand, but it didn't seem like a enough, she was going to think he didn't care. But a hug seemed... what if that was too much contact. For fuck sake, dude, say something! "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said what I said to Morgan, I should have made sure we were all on the same page. I should have told you both how I felt. I hate that I hurt you, hate that I made you feel like I didn't have legit feelings for you. I hate that I ruined what we could've had and more than anything I hate that I can't undo what I did so you never had to hurt." That was a lot more than he meant to say and he still felt so uneasy because it didn't feel like he did it right. What if he just made it worse? He wanted to hug her but he didn't want her to feel trapped or anything, so instead he reached his hand up to her face and wiped at the tears on his cheeks with his thumb.
EVA really hadn't planned to keep crying any time she opened up, but it was impossible at this point. It was as if her body and her emotions were in sync so there wasn't one without the other, not when she was talking to the object(s) of her desire or whatever, so she wasn't even fighting it. She managed to get out most of what she needed to say at least, so there was that. And while Morgan had immediately folded and hugged her once she started crying, she had half expected Puck not to. He'd interpreted her being hurt and asking for space as her saying she'd completely given up and didn't want him or Morgan anymore, so she was well aware that he wouldn't know how to proceed now. And maybe she wasn't expecting much of anything right now. Having to do this back to back was taking a toll on her already. Yet once Puck finally found something to say, she just sighed and nodded, deciding to let him get it all out while she attempted to reel her tears and shit back in. Not that it was working much, but she was attempting anyways. Once he finally finished, the hand attempting to dry her tears made her smile, even if it were just a small one. "I didn't say all of that to put all the blame on you." She stated, since this wasn't the first time she'd felt like he'd assumed it was all on him. "We all should've spoken up, so...we all played a part in this." She shrugged as she tried wiping her tears away now. "But uh..I should tell you what I told Morgan, which is that I only asked for time because I was scared. Scared that I'd come clean about how I felt, and you two would still decide that y'all wanted to fuck other people — it wasn't me giving up or whatever, I just don't handle rejection, or being hurt well, obviously."
PUCK had never been so grateful to see a smile in his life, no matter how small. It was an indicator that he hadn't fucked this up, that even if this wasn't going past today, past this conversation, at least she didn't hate him. Furrowing his eyebrows, he didn't want her to share the blame, she didn't need to do that but before he could protest she was talking again and what she said had him completely forgetting who was at fault for what. Eva? Scared? Rejected? God, he was a fucking asshole, he had been so in his own head the past month, he hadn't even considered that what he did would make her feel rejected. Hurt, sure, but he has felt rejected by her and Morgan for the last couple of weeks and the idea that he's part of the reason she feels like that now, fuck, does Morgan feel like that? This time he didn't have time to talk himself out of it, he just wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to him. It was a little awkward since they were sitting on a bench with their knees in the way. But he cradled the back of her head with one hand and rubbed his other hand on her back. "I'm so sorry. I've been in my own head and I fucked up." Like he always did when he got like that. "I never wanted to hurt you. Never." He said and he readjusted his head so her could place a soft kiss against her temple. He pulled away, just to her could look at her again, both of his hands cradling her face for a moment. "I know it don't help any but I found out pretty quick I didn't wanna be with anybody but you and Morgan after that date I went on."
EVA wouldn't have dared to ever feel rejected before, but that was yet another foreign emotion she now felt thanks to Morgan and Puck. Normally, she would've fucked right off the second things started getting serious, or if she were in a position to feel like someone else could take her spot, but both men had her catching feelings way too easily and too swiftly for her to have just cut them off cold turkey when shit hit the fan. And that was probably why she kept crying when she tried to open up about her feelings now. Letting Puck pull her in for a hug, she wrapped her arms around him tightly, needing to just enjoy being in his embrace for a bit, like she'd done with Morgan. Honestly, it was one of the things she'd missed about them both, just how good it felt being in their arms like this, just usually when she wasn't crying. And much like with the cowboy, it was Puck's turn to reassure that he knew he'd fucked up. Eva wanted to believe them, she truly did, but it was still going to take time. Letting him pull away to cup her face, she bit her lip at his confessions. "Morgan kinda said the same thing.." She admitted. "I want to believe you both, but...I don't know, maybe I need you both to prove it."
PUCK wanted nothing more than to be able to prove to her that he wanted her, but how could he do that right now when took him, what, three days to fuck somebody else during lockdown. The truth was, he didn't believe he deserved Eva or Morgan, but more than that he didn't think he deserved love at all, that meant his mom, his brother, Santana and even his daughter, all felt like people he didn't deserve and everyday he fought his nature to not fuck things up with them. Usually, he manage, but lately, after Gabe, like always, he was just mentally fucked and then the start of Halloween was always a mine field of if he was going to have a fucking episode because someone decided to scare him, and then the lockdown and he was alone too long. Even though there were people they weren't his people, his safety nets and by the time Santana appeared it was too late. Puck knew he wasn't okay, but he didn't know it was as bad as it is. God, he wished he could have just one last good day with her, one more day before he has to accept he can't be what she needs right now. But it was too late. "I want more than anything to be able to prove it to you. I need you to know that. But I don't know how when I don't think I deserve you or Morgan. I'm not- I don't think I'm good enough for either one of you." He looked her in the eyes, her beautiful brown eyes and he hoped she could see and feel his earnestness, his vulnerability. "I knew I was fucked up, but I don't think- I think I've been underestimating just how bad it's gotten. I wanna be with you and Morgan so fucking bad, baby, I swear on my child's life, but imma just keep fucking up because I don't think I deserve it and I don't wanna hurt y'all like that again." It took everything in him not to let the tears he could feel welling up, fall.
EVA didn't quite understand why Puck always seemed to resort to the worst in almost any given situation, but she was also starting to get used to it after their run in with Gabe, since it all made sense then. The man had belittled him and made it clear that he'd been treating his son like that for his entire life, and she was more than happy to try and shift his thinking, but as soon as he started explaining himself, she sighed. Maybe she should have saw this coming right now but she hadn't, and now she didn't fully know how to fix this. Not by herself, anyways. If Morgan had been here, he would've found a way to probably not say much but still say exactly what it took to at least make Puck smile. She was already deep in her own emotions so what could she really do to make this better? Wiping at her own eyes, Eva exhaled a small breath. "We're not perfect, Noah." She pointed out. "All of us have fucked up before, and there's no guarantee that we won't do it again. Doesn't mean you're not good enough for us, or vice versa. I told you when I asked for some time to think that you and Morgan needed to think about what you both wanted too, and you can both say you want this, but...he clearly likes Serena, and you're probably still going out with people too. If we aren't ready to just turn everyone else down, then how the hell can any of us say that we know without a doubt that we want this?"
PUCK knew she was right, none of them were perfect and honestly, he didn't think of them as perfect. Just as better than him. But he pretty much thought everyone was better than him, that was the issue. For a dude known for being full of himself, he really didn't like the person he was and never really got a chance to figure out how to appreciate himself genuinely. Damn, is that what it means to compensate for a shortcoming? Wait, Morgan had feelings for Serena? That was, that hurt, maybe that's why he wanted time and space. Maybe that's why he gave up so quick. There was something going on with Serena, and Puck would probably process that later at the worst possible time, but for now he just was too tired to be more than hurt. It seemed like Eva was right, there was unresolved shit with them all outside of each other that they needed to sort out. There was one thing she was wrong about though, Puck knew he wanted them, even through the hurt and the self loathing, he knew he wanted to be with them, that he wanted them to all be together and he didn't need time to figure that out or be confident in that. But he did need time, so instead of saying any of that, all he could do was nod in response to her question, eyes a little sad but he understood, finally he understood. Feeling like they were both exhausted and spent, he just took her hands in his and gave the back of her hands a little kiss before looking at her. "Thank you for coming here, for letting me see you, for telling me all that, for being honest. I'm really glad you weren't hurt in that earthquake or in the lockdown." He hugged her again and in his head, said what he just couldn't say to her in that moment; I missed you, baby.

summary: After everything that happened with Gabe, Puck distanced himself from Eva and Morgan and with flowers in had, this was his apology to Eva.
word count: 3,605
PUCK had a hell of a fucking week. Shit, a hell of a month if we're been honest. That was always the case when his father blew through his life with his hash words, making that voice in Puck's head that much louder and harder to ignore because, well, it wasn't just in his head anymore. Having had Eva there, made it better, and having her there, right beside him, standing up for herself and for him, it made him feel safe. It made him look at her different, like more than a good time, more than sex. When the dust settled and he had time to process everything, those bad thoughts started creeping in again and it made him think his father was right. Puck was pathetic and weak and good for nothing and he liked Eva too much. So he isolated himself, ran from his growing feelings, and hid away in fatherhood and work and school. He felt numb, that's why he'd texted Morgan, to feel something and he did and then he felt more of something watching Morgan take Serena out on a date. But that was a whole other issue. Today he was focused on Eva and praying to the Jewish God that he could fix what he might've broke. Standing in front of her door, a bouquet of purple flowers and a voucher he made for a session of Puck doing whatever to or for her. He knocked on her door.
EVA's mind had been pretty all over the place for the last few weeks, but one thing that had been clear was how easily men could fuck up. First Morgan, and then Puck. While she understood both of them having other shit going on in their lives and wasn't expecting them to be in constant contact with her, the fact that they could both just ghost her after she'd gone out of her way to defend them was almost repulsive. As if she'd needed a reminder why she didn't do relationships, this was it. And unfortunately for them, sending her the signal that they could just sideline her only made her turn back to her old way, which was she was currently dressed in a plunge neck, short bodycon dress and a pair of six inch Louboutins. She'd arranged a date with some hot woman she'd matched with on a dating app, and had just finished her hair and make up when she heard the knock on the door. Assuming it was one of her neighbors complaining about something again, she ran over to the door only to open it and find Puck there instead. "Oh, it's you." Eva hummed as she placed one hand on her hip, the other keeping the door only cracked wide enough for her outfit to be on display, but not enough for him to walk in. "I'm sorry, are you lost? You look like a guy I used to know before he went MIA on me." She scoffed.
PUCK wasn't sure what the fuck he was expecting when she opened the door, but it was not her looking like a whole fucking meal. I mean, she always looked good but god damn, this was her going to get some look. He knew a freakum dress when he saw one. Maybe his mouth was hanging open, maybe he just thought it was, but he couldn't help but just appreciate the woman in front of him. Damn, she looked so good he wasn't even thinking about the fact she was clearly on her way out to meet someone who could get her out of that dress. Picking his jaw up off the ground, he try to pull his shit the fuck together. He knew he was in the fucking dog house. Hell, he wasn't in the dog house, after the disappearing act he pulled, he deserved to be treated like a stranger. So her words kind of made him wanna flitch back, but he saw it coming so he just looked down at the flowers and voucher, knowing it wasn't even close to enough. In his defense, he never came back, usually when he vanished, he stayed gone, but he felt something real with her and he was so fucking tired of doing the same old shit every time something felt real. "I'm an asshole, I shouldn't have ghosted on you like that." He said genuinely, not sure how to even do this. All that practicing over the past couple days apparently wasn't shit now that he was stood in front of her and all her goddess glory. "I see you're headed out, but can you be a little late. Give me a chance to apologize to you for treating you like a ball i can pick up and put down when I wanna." Damn, saying it out loud made it sound ten times worse.
EVA was so pissed that the bouquet and whatever else he was holding were unimportant right now. Of course he'd show up when she's about to go on a date to spend time with someone she didn't actually give a damn about or want to know much about — she simply had an itch and was about to let someone else scratch it since the two idiots she'd normally turn to had fucking disappeared. Sure, Morgan had come back and apologized eventually, and she'd forgiven him to an extent, so it was at least Puck's turn to try to grovel and get her forgiveness too. At least the way he was drooling did stroke her ego a bit, so there was that. When he finally spoke and stated the obvious, she nodded in agreement. "And your asshole of a father had the nerve to call you dumb? You seem pretty fucking smart to me." She sassed. Gabe had been wrong, so wrong, and she knew Puck wasn't as dumb as he let the man tell him he was, but he was proving as much now. She let him ask her to spare him some time, which maybe she was gonna do anyways but he didn't need to know that, before she groaned dramatically as she stepped aside, widening the door now. "You've got five minutes." She stated as she motioned for him to come inside. "Better be a damn good apology too."
PUCK lowkey felt like that was a compliment because being called smart in a serious way, was mad rare for him. Probably only heard it from like two other people and that would be his mom and his daughter, so maybe a little bias on their part. He actively made himself not smile though because reading the situation that would definitely not be the move right now. But when she let him in, he took two quick steps and tried, and failed, to hide a bit of a smile. But she let him in, when she definitely could have kicked his ass to the curb, so he must still have some kind of chance with her. Putting the flowers and vouchers down on the first free space he found, he turned to her and took a deep breath. He had practiced for this, and mirror him seemed to forgive him so he liked his chances. Five minutes wasn't a long time though and normally his apologies involved a lot less clothing, if you catch his drift. So this was new for him and he was concerned he was gonna fuck it up, especially because that script he's practiced for literal days had comepletely flown from his mind. Looked like he was just gonna have to speak from the heart and hope it made sense. "I spiraled, baby." He said softly. Shit, even that was fucking hard to admit. This was gonna be one difficult ass conversation. "That's not really the point though, the point is I was dead fucking wrong for disappearing on you like that. Especially after making you deal with my father like that. Ain't no excuse for that. But I want you to know that I didn't ghost because I didn't care about you or because you don't matter to me. I ghosted because I thought if you spent too much more time with me you'd start to see the truth in the shit my dad said about me." Puck hadn't noticed how much closer to her he'd gotten since he started speak. Everything in him wanted to reach out, to hold her, to feel her, to ground himself, but he didn't. Instead he just looked at her, hoping she could see how much he had missed her, how much he wanted to make this right, how much he'd wish he did things different. "I should've just talked to you, told you how I was feel. Leaned on you." He signed, still disappointed in himself for the choices he made. "I'm so sorry, Eva."
EVA noticed the smile, and although she was mad, she wasn't gonna chew him out for it. The way Gabe had so effortlessly called Puck dumb let her know that he did it routinely, and had probably made his son believe that it was true, and that had only made her hate the man. Even the glimpse of him she'd encountered had been enough for her to never want anything to do with him, nor would she ever have respect for any man like that, without or without some sort of addiction. But his treatment of his son was primarily the reason she'd let Puck in now, so there was that. Chewing on the inside of her cheek as he faced her, she wasn't sure what to expect of this apology, so she mostly just remained quiet as she let him say whatever he needed to say. And as she listened to Puck's explanation, her anger started to turn to concern, and now she was only mad that he at least had a reason for ghosting her. She didn't like it, and she definitely deserved at least a text to say he just needed some space, but she understood it more now. She didn't even step back once he'd absentmindedly inched closer to her, deciding to just stay right where she was as she let him finish. Once he had, it was Eva's turn to sigh. "You're absolutely right. You should've fucking talked to me. You should've voiced your concerns and then I would've told you that your dad's a piece of shit, and there's nothing he could ever say that would have changed how I see you, or feel about you." Eva pointed out. Gabe's opinion truly didn't mean shit, which in her opinion should have been obvious with the way she was trying to fight him on Puck's behalf. "You know nothing he said about you was true, right?" She asked.
PUCK felt a rush of relief when he wasn't met with arguing or yelling or even worse her saying, 'kay' and shooing him out the door. Weirdly though, he'd been more prepared for that then the response he got. Not that he was complaining, he was glad she wasn't moving away from him and that while she was obviously still annoyed at him for going no contact on her, she maybe understood why because she knew more than he wanted her too about, well, everything. Now he could lie and say, 'yeah, i know, he's full of shit' but that seemed like it defeated the purpose of this conversation so instead he told the truth. "No, I don't." It hurt to say out loud, and honestly if this was going to be a moment, he was gonna need some grounding, so he finally reached out and put his arms around her waist and he didn't even reach around to cop a feel. Maybe later, if the mood was right. "I hope it's not true. I tell myself it isn't true, but when you hear that kind of shit your whole life from your own father, it gets real hard to believe anything else." Usually when he talked about Gabe and the way he made him feel, he'd say one thing and crack a joke to change the subject and while a part of him wanted to do that now, he dind't. Instead he just held onto her a little tighter. "I really wish you hadn't heard him say any of it but it meant a lot to me that you were there and I'm really fucking sorry I let him ruin us a little bit." He said the last part quieter than he had meant to, probably because he was scared the whole thing had ruined them way more than a little bit.
EVA furrowed her brows when Puck answered honestly. She had been expecting it, considering how he mostly just took it when his dad said it and him holding onto her in the car had made it quite evident that the words were getting to him. But with everything he had going for him, and the fact that he'd raised his daughter alone and they had both turned out pretty amazing — unlike Gabe, she didn't understand why the old bastard could get under Puck's skin like this. Letting him hold her waist, she only hesitated briefly before she draped her arms around his neck, deciding that he needed some semblance of normalcy (or normal for them) right now. As he mentioned that Gabe had done this pretty much his entire life, her anger was now directed at the older Puckerman, and she would've given anything to see the man again now so she could kick his ass. He 100% deserved it, and if they ever crossed paths again, she wouldn't have even bothered with a verbal reply and would've gone straight for knocking his teeth out. "No offense, but your dad's horrible. He has no room to talk about anyone, and he's probably just jealous that you're a much better man and father than he could ever be." She stated and shrugged. "You didn't ruin us, Puck. You just suck at communicating, but so does Morgan, so I guess this is just a lesson." Eva stated before she leaned in and kissed his cheek. "But if you ever pull this shit again, it'll be you that I'm punching in the face."
PUCK felt so much weight lift off his shoulders as this goddess of a woman leaned into his touch by wrapping her arms around his neck. Naturally he wrapped his all the way around her waist and pulled her in, his hands still in respectable positions, because he could have a conversation without trying to change the subject with sex. Then she said Gabe is horrible and he felt a little smile start to peak through. It was nice to hear someone say it, give that extremely small voice in his head some much needed validation. The little voice that said, you know he's a piece of shit who just hates you because he isn't you, right?. Unfortunately, it was always drowned out but his father's voice but right now, hearing Eva echo the sentiments, it was louder than it had ever been and maybe not that Eva said it, he could believe it. At the mention of Morgan, Puck thought about how annoying the two of them must be for her, and it was funny in a not funny way, but they were both trying harder to be better for themselves and for each other, he liked to think. With the kiss on the cheek, Puck felt like she'd bestowed that second chance on him and he wasn't gonna fuck it up. "Yes, ma'am." He replied with a salute and everything, because she was an authority he could respect. With that his hands did, in fact, slip down to rest on her ass, just rest, okay, still respectable kind of. He leaned in and planted a kiss on her lips, not sure if he was gonna end up with lipstick on his face but also not caring too much. "Fuck, I missed you, baby." He said against her lips, his hands now moving up her back.
EVA settled right into Puck's arms once he fully wrapped them around her and tugged her closer. Clearly he'd needed this after the hell he'd went through with Gabe crashing their date, and probably from everything he'd dealt with from the man over the years, so she didn't mind him needing to lean on her now. Whatever she could do to help him stop letting Gabe have so much power over him, she'd be willing to do. She smiled as he saluted her, signaling that he was at least listening and hopefully wouldn't do this dumb shit again. If either he or Morgan knew what was good for them, they'd tread lightly now, since she would for sure be done with them both if they ever did this again. Leaning into the kiss, she rolled her eyes playfully at his words. "Wouldn't have had to miss me if you'd just talked to me." She pointed out. "But I missed you too, Noah." Unwrapping her arms and freeing herself from his hold, she motioned towards the couch. "Make yourself comfortable while I cancel my date and find a vase for those flowers." She instructed as she found her phone and started sending out a text with an excuse as to why she couldn't make the date first. "What's that card or whatever you brought with the flowers?" Eva questioned on her way to the kitchen to find the one vase she was sure she had laying around here.
PUCK put his hands over his head at the sound of his government name rolling off that talented tongue of hers. Damn, he really liked when she called him that, and that mist mean something because if anyone else did it he'd tell them to never say that shit again. But she also had a point, him missing her had been entirely his own fault, and after hoe the last couple of weeks felt, he wasn't gonna be doing that shit again. The idea of losing her for good made his heart ache. And maybe he wasn't all the way ready to contend with that but he could at least admit it to himself. As she started to pull away from him, he playfully wined a bit before reaching out to smack her ass as she walked away. Now, could he go to the couch, yeah, but why do that when he can follow Eva around like the puppy he was. So he started moving and waited until she put her phone donwn to be all up in her space again. Wrapped his arms around her from behind, his lips naturally found their way to her neck and started leaving little kisses along the length up to her cheek. "It's a voucher." He answered against her skin. "For me to do whatever you want me to do to or for you." His lips made their way back down to her neck. "Never expires and you can use it as many times as you want."
EVA found a vase and filled it up with some water, and then she'd managed to sit it down on the sink counter just in time for hands to snake around her waist. Of course Puck wouldn't listen and sit his ass down on the couch, not after he'd gone far too long without her. But she wasn't complaining as she eagerly leaned into his embrace, tilting her head to the side to give him more access to her neck. Both of her men were horrible at communicating yet somehow, they were both perfect at making shit up to her like this, and she wasn't complaining. "I needed a whole voucher for that?" She teased. "We both know you'd do whatever I wanted you to do whenever I wanted it anyways." It wasn't exactly false, and she loved that Puck and Morgan both did whatever she told them to do. It was probably one of the reasons why she was falling for them, but she was still pretending like that wasn't happening so she wasn't gonna read into it. "But if you keep kissing my neck like that, I'm gonna use it right now."
PUCK didn't deserve the forgiveness he could feel her giving him, but he wasn't going to push against it because he wanted his girl back and here she was, in his arms and her could feel her melting into him. God, she fit so perfectly against him, his hands pulled her impossibly closer to him with a smile because she was absolutely right. Anything she said, he would do, voucher or not. I mean, who wouldn't? Calling her a goddess wasn't just some kind of line, it was the kind of devotion she inspired in him, in a lot of people he guessed. Finally, pulling away from her neck, he turned her around in his arms so they were facing each other. "Nah, this is a freebie. Plus, spending the night between your thighs is my preference. Use that voucher on something you think might take a little convincing to get me to do." Again, if she's asking it won't take all that much convincing, especially if it brings her pleasure. Getting behind her, he put his hands on her hips and pushed her forward, so they could both go to the couch together. "Now let's go to the couch so I can bury my head in your pussy until my chin is soaked."

EVA was still pushing any and all of her feelings down since the threesome and consecutive run-ins with her boys that followed, yet Puck asking her on an official date had made that much harder. She didn't date (not willingly anyways) or even catch feelings, yet both Puck and Morgan had managed to leave her reeling lately, and that was why she was at a waterpark in a mostly appropriate bikini, a naturally beat face consisting of all waterproof products, and she was being on her best behavior. For now. Tossing her large bag down on a table, She pulled her hair up into a messy bun as she glanced around, thankful that her designer shades were completely blocking the sun. "I feel like I haven't been to a waterpark in over a decade." She hummed, taking in the different people. She was sure that she hadn't been to one of these places in a while because of the insane amount of kids running around, or because she usually preferred the beach, but at least Puck was worth this trip. "What should we do first?"
PUCK was telling himself this was just an excuse to see Eva in a bikini but deep down he knew if that were true he'd have taken her to that secret spot on the beach just before sunset. It was kind of his move. But he was at a waterpark with her because he just wanted to spend time together and there was the added benefit of a bikini. After he paid for them, he went and got the key for their locker while she found a table. Walking up to her, she looked fucking good and he wasn't gonna go crazy with PDA, kids were there, but he did turn his baseball cap backwards so he could hug her from behind. As he moved around her he kept a hand on her waist. "We go a few times a year but I think it's more for me now than Maya." Grabbing her bag he leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek. "You look so fucking good, I'm mad I can't grab your ass right now." He said low enough so only she could hear. "First let's go put our shit in the locker. then we're going the big ass one with the tube together. Sound good?"
EVA didn't even mind indulging in Puck's desire to see her in a bikini, which was why she'd chosen one that showed just enough to keep the mind wandering. After all, this was what he wanted, and she was nothing if not caring enough to give anything he asked for. She smiled as he hugged her from behind. "So waterparks are more your thing than your kid's? Duly noted." She giggled. Accepting the kiss to her cheek, she wasn't the least bit surprised that he'd wanted to get handsy, which she would have been disappointed about if he hadn't wanted it. "Don't worry, you can do that later." She promised. "But yeah, that sounds good." With that she headed for the locker so Puck could put her bag inside, and she sat her phone inside as well, seeing as how she wouldn't need it while they were together. "By the way, a threesome was not the way I expected for us to throw out the whole 'I'm bisexual' thing." She teased only loud enough for Puck to hear.
PUCK took out his keys and his phone and wallet and placed them in the locker before closing it. Normally he'd keep his phone on him but his apple watch was waterproof and would let him know if anyone needed him. Putting the chain the key was on around his wrist, he laughed at her comment. Sometimes he forgot coming out was a more than once thing. In LA being straight seemed like the minority but he knew that most people probably assumed he was a heterosexual man, so it might be a bit surprising to learn not all of his bodies were ladies. "I wasn't hiding it or anything, I just didn't think about it. Hard to think about anything but you when I'm with you, babe." It was a line and a cheesy one, but that was the charm of it. Taking her hand and intertwining their fingers, he started walking toward the big slide. "Seems like you're into it though."
EVA rolled her eyes playfully at his compliment, and if she wasn't already learning him as quickly as she had been, she would've thought he was just talking shit. Luckily she did know he meant it, even if it was cheesy as hell. Allowing him to take her hand, she smirked as he started to lead the way towards the slide he'd picked out. "I am into it, as if the threesome wasn't obvious proof of that." She giggled. "I just didn't know you or Morgan were bisexual too, or that you had slept with both of us prior to the threesome. And Morgan and I had been taking things a lot slower, so that night was the first time we'd even had sex." She hummed. "But honestly, it was all worth it. That was hands down the best sex I've ever fucking had — which, not that what we did that night you made me dinner wasn't amazing, because it was — but I've never had a threesome like that." She confessed.
PUCK knew he didn't need to worry, but he was a man who appreciated reassurance. So, having it verbally confirmed that Eva was, in fact, chill with his sexuality and more than that, she was into it was conforting. Shockingly, he had run into chicks and dudes who turned their nose up at him being bisexual, like he should just pick one or something, but he didn't entertain that shit. He'd put himself through enough of that bullshit in high school, and now he knew it was biphobic to say shit like that. Needless to say, he's learned a lot over the last decade. "When you say it like that, kinda makes me sound like a hoe." Which, he arguably was but he didn't need it to sound that way. The revelation that their threesome had been the first time that Morgan and Eva had ever had sex made him feel something. Something non sexual and genuine. Special? Like they wanted to experience that first with him. Made that night feel a lot more like something than it had before. "Nah, I know what you mean. Just us is good, obviously, we're se- fun time gods." He corrected himself, because his voice carried. "But something about that night, like clicked, i don't know, I'm entertained two people before and it was never that... natural." Even in his previous successful threesomes, it wasn't something he'd repeat, but with Eva and Morgan it was like, his preferred way of having sex with them. Even though he was really into his alone time with each, it felt complete when it was all three of them together.
EVA had never been met with any scrutiny over her sexuality, yet she knew the bisexual thing seemed to not fare well for men as it did with women. She didn't understand why people were cool with women being into both sexes and not men, yet she'd never been one to judge. Love was love in her opinion, and she just preferred for everyone to be open with their shit like she was. She giggled when Puck took her words the way that he did. "Takes a hoe to know a hoe, right?" She asked softly, not hiding the smirk on her lips. It wasn't as if she hadn't been sleeping with other women before she'd crossed that friendship line with both men, so they were even in her opinion. Nodding along as he seemed to agree with her sentiment about the three of them together, which was a good start, at least now since she knew all three of them were mostly on the same page, even if they hadn't quite clarified that while they were altogether. "The other few of my..fun times involved only one man and two women, so this was a first with our arrangement, but it was the most natural thing I've ever done. But that being said, I do appreciate dates too, and we were in the process of still getting to know each other so we can totally just do stuff like this even if there's no fun time planned for afterwards."
PUCK smiled at her quip about them both being hoes, before leaning in and giving her a quick and location appropriate kiss. Listening as she spoke again, he was surprised to learn that she had been in more than one sex situation with multiple partners. Surprised and a little jealous, which was dumb, she had a past like everybody else, but what could he say? Puck liked being special, so sue him if he wanted him and Morgan to be her first threesome. "I like doing shit with people I like, so I'm definitely good for no pressure dates." As they got through the line for the big slide, they were moving from slide to slide and okay, maybe he went on the launcher slide three times, but he had to do multiple poses, maybe a flip. The next couple of hours really flew by, until the sun wasn't quite as high in the sky. Still nice and sunny, but it was a good time to get in the lazy river and Puck even held Eva's hand so they could stay next to each other. They were just talking about anything when his apple watch started going off. Looking at it he knew who it would be before he even answered. "Shit, sorry, I gotta answer this." Tapping the screen on his watch he answered the call. He could barely hear what was being said, but it was enough to know it was his father and he needed to be bailed out and picked up from jail. "You can't ask whatever chick you're shacked up with to do it?" He askeed into his wrist. "She's the reason I'm fucking in here, you know how emotional wom-" Puck cut his father off. "Give me 45 minutes." And he hung up, not wanting to hear anything else his dad had to say. "I fucking swear, dude has the worst god damn timing." Taking a reath and trying to just stay calm. "I gotta go bail my pops out. I can drop you off if you don't wanna come but..." Puck really fucking hated dealing with his dad alone. "I kinda want you to come." He admitted, she'd be a witness and a comfort, someone to keep him grounded.
EVA accepted the kiss and smiled. "Perfect. Since this one was your idea, I'll pick the next date, and we can invite Morgan if it's something he won't hate." She suggested. She knew he hated large crowds so depending on what they did for the date, it may have just been herself and Puck. She let Puck lead her around the waterpark, hitting up every slide, even some multiple times, and they maneuvered around the entire park as the day started to turn to evening. She was having a ball, truthfully, which was a little more than what she'd been expecting. Not that she expected the adventure to be a dud, she just hadn't been to a waterpark in so long that she hadn't known what all to expect. And the conversation with Puck flowed even easier now than it had the last time they were together on a date, or close to it anyways, so she was enjoying herself until the call came in. "Yeah, go for it." She mumbled, and then she just watched some of the other people running around and enjoying themselves as she waited for Puck to finish his call. She didn't even know who it was, but she was sure that it wasn't a good conversation, based on Puck's body language, but she tried to mind her business as she simply focused on everyone else. It wasn't until he spoke again and it sounded more directed at anyone than other whoever had called, she raised a brow as she faced him again. Eva wasn't expecting what came next, but she didn't even hesitate to nod before he'd even stated he wanted her to come along. "Yeah, of course I'll come with you." She'd done this song and dance for her mom a few times so she truly didn't mind it at all. Grabbing his hand, she led the way back to their locker, opening it up and pulling her bag out before she started to cover herself up. "How often do this happen?"
PUCK felt a wave of relief wash over him as Eva agreed to go with him to bail his dad out. Letting out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding, he let her lead them back to their locker. Working almost on auto pilot, he got himself dressed and slipped his phone back in his pocket and made sure he had his wallet and keys. "I don't know, a few times a year." He answered, putting his hand on the small of his dates back, he lead them out of the water park. "Usually his manager bails him out but for some reason it's me he calls sometimes.Maybe it's his idea of father/son time." Puck joked, as they made it back to the car, he opened her door for her and waited for her to get in before closing it and getting in the driver's seat. As he started the car he let Eva connect her phone to the bluetooth, and put the directions to the police station in Google Maps and started driving, Letting the music fill the space instead of easy conversation, which Puck just didn't have in him right now. He did reach out to put a hand on Eva's knee and it worked to keep him calm. When they got to the station, he turned the car off and sat in silence for a few seconds while he gathered his thoughts. There was no way he was just gonna throw Gabe at Eva with no warning, so he took her hand in hers just to absentmindedly lace their fingers together. "I know I haven't said it or talked about him but it doesn't take a genius to figure out who my father is and he's much coolet in theory than in reality." A pause and a breath. "He's a drunk and an addict and he has been for a really long time. He's kinda gross around hot women, so sorry in advance for whatever he says to you. I'll try to keep his focus on me, but he ain't got a nice thing to say about me, really. So just, you know, whatever he says about me, let him. I'll bail him out, and we'll drop him off at whatever or whoever's place he's staying at. Then I'm gonna do whatever the fuck you want me to do, to you, for you, with you. Okay?" He asked with a smiled as he kissed the back of her hand.
EVA just listened as Puck talked about his dad, and it was clear that he was frustrated or pissed or even a handful of emotions about all of this, so she was trying to just let him vent a little bit as they made they way to the car. Hopping in, she decided to just play some light neo-soul as Puck drove, seeing as he wanted some verbal silence. She didn't mind it, since she was only here as support and would support him in any way that he wanted. Once they made it to the station, she paused the music as she expect him to get out, but when he grabbed her hand, she smiled softly. Once again, she just listened intently as he talked, and naturally, she had done a background check so obviously she knew who his father was, and saw recent reports of his habit of being arrested. Not that she could judge because she'd had her own record as a teen, but she could see why it was such a pain for him. She let him finish before smirking at his promise. "While I will never say no to you satisfying me, you don't have to go out of your way. I can handle Gabe Puckerman. Besides, my mom gets drunks and gets...out of hand sometimes, so I get it. But there is nothing that man can say about you that will change my opinion of you, Noah. And if he hits on me, just ignore it. Wouldn't be the first time some drunk asshole hits on me, so I've got this." She promised before she leaned over and kissed him softly. "We'll be fine, so go bail him out."
PUCK found that he believed Eva when she said Gabe wasn't gonna scare her off. Which wasn't surprising but there was also a lot Eva didn't know about him, and a lot the Gabe loved to bring up because it use to get a rise out of Puck and honestly, sometimes, it still did. But Eva could handle herself and he was glad she was here, even if Gabe is his regular douchebag self, he can look over and see her beautiful face and completely forget his dad is even in the damn car. Leaning into the kiss, he really felt like it wasn't long enough and a part of him just wanted to ditch his father and keep kissing her, but he let the kiss end before giving her the keys so she could keep the A/C running. "Alright, I'm gonna go get him" he said before leaning for just one more good luck kiss. "For the record Satisfying you is never out of my way, and you should definitely call me Noah more." With that he left, thankfully it didn't take long to get through the paperwork and shit, and in about twenty minutes he and his father were on their way to his car and it occured to him he could've just thrown his ass in an uber. But at least he wasn't drunk, although he did seem like he was on something. He told his dad to lean against the car for a second, opening the back door, he looked at Eva, "Hey, baby, said he'd only tell you where he wanted to go, so not a great start." He said before making sure Gabe got in the back of his car safely. "Hey there, pretty thing, I'm Gabriel, the original model of that one, and 100 times more fun." With that, Puck closed his door and got in the Driver's seat.
EVA took the keys and just nodded, before she let him kiss her again. Before she could even fully process what he said next, he was climbing out of the car, and she was left with her jaw dropped. Of course he would say some shit like that just as he was getting out of the car, and she had to channel how flustered she was because she knew without a doubt that Gabe was about to undo that anyways. She scrolled through social media to kill time as she waited, and eventually she saw the two men coming towards the car and she simply nestled into her seat as she waited for them to climb in. Furrowing her brows as Puck spoke, she glanced back at the older Puckerman just in time for him to open his mouth and bring her a feeling of disgust. "You're a rockstar with a handful of issues, affairs, issues, and probably children — trust me, you are not more fun, and Noah's a much better man than you'll ever." She sassed with a devilish smirk on her lips. "Oooh, feisty! I love it when hot women are feisty and talk back to me. Turns me on!" Gabe stated with a chuckle that instantly caused Eva to roll her eyes as she waved a hand at him dismissively. "Save it. You're not getting shit from me, and your bullshit might work on dumb ass women, but it's not gonna work on me. So tell us where to drop you off, and watch your mouth. I can't be respectful for very long." She warned before she turned to Puck. "Are you good, babe?"
PUCK had to admit, his father was slightly worse than usual, but he had expected that, with the addition of Eva, Puck knew his dad would want to show off. Or his version of it anyway. But, his girl was holding her own, just like he knew she would and it was hot and comforting, a very trippy combination. Keeping his focus on her, she really did drown out Gabe's nonsense. So without thinking he took her hand and kissed her knuckles, before starting the car. "Well aren't you two cute? Before he could say anything else, Puck turned around, "You don't tell me where to take you I'm dropping you off at a rehab center." It was a threat Puck had made before but hadn't even actually followed through on. "Acting like a hardass in front of your woman, like you're in charge of shit. You ain't smart enough to be running anything. Dumb as a bag of rocks my son, but he's pretty so at least there's that." It was pretty standard for Gabe to reduce Puck to nothing but a decent face, still kinda stung though. So he turned around, "Rehab it is and it ain't gonna be a nice one either." He said, putting his seatbelt on and putting the car in drive. "He loves me really. Looks up to his old man, use to follow me around everywhere, like a puppy. Such a dutiful man, it's why I call him when i've pissed everyone else off, 'cause I know my boy will always make sure his old man is okay." His hands, gripped the steering wheel a little tighter, so he reached a hand out to hold Eva's hand as he drove. " 'm more interested in your... not girlfriend, you don't do girlfriends and when you do you, I'll let the little lady find that out on her own."
EVA smiled as Puck kissed her knuckles, deciding that anything she could do to help check Gabe would be done at this point just to keep Puck somewhat happy. The older Puckerman may have ruined their date, but she wasn't about to let him sit and disrespect his son either simply because he was a drunk asshole. Rolling her eyes at the sound of his voice, she was glad Puck didn't let him finish, and she was just praying that this man would cooperate and give them a place to go, but of course he didn't. But him insulting Puck instantly made him glare back at the man. Boy, if this wasn't someone she cared about's father, she definitely would've reached back there and broken his nose — and honestly, she wasn't sure that she wouldn't do it by the time they made it to his destination. She took in everything else Gabe said but kept her attention on the younger Puckerman, allowing him to take her hand in his as he drove. But when Gabe tried to throwing out that last bit as if he were trying to ruffle her feathers, Eva turned in her seat to get a good look at him. "Can't be any worse than what you do to women, so maybe you should get off that drunk high horse of yours and take a look in a goddamn mirror." She huffed. "And for the record, I've got one hell of a right hook so I'd advise you to sit back there and zip it." She warned before she squeezed Puck's hand. "You should dump him on Skid Row. He wants to be so damn hard, he should have to fend for himself out there until he can clean up his act." She suggested, and Gabe chuckled. "My boy won't do that. Probably too dumb to even know what this is or where it is anyways." Gabe pointed out. "You sure do got a mouth on you, pretty lady. Guess you're the one wearing the pants in this relationship, huh?" The man taunted, and Puck narrowed her eyes as she turned to Puck once more. "Just say the word and I swear to God I will take him out." She scoffed.
PUCK just kept holding Eva's hand as he drove, somewhat aimlessly, because Gabe was right, he wouldn't drop him off at a rehab center. If Puck thought for one second, his father would actually take rehab seriously, he would. But as it was, the rockstar had no interest in being helped or getting help, he was fine being just the way he was. Maybe one day, Puck will force it, but today wasn't going to be that day. As Eva and his dad went back and forth, he barely listened until he heard Eva's voice address him directly, "Don't bother." He replied with a slight smile. "He ain't worth it." He'd tried to say it low enough that Gabe couldn't hear but they were in a car, and unfortunately Gabe's hearing was just fine. "I ain't worth it? Big words coming from a single teen dad who amounted to nothing and is no one, who's biggest accomplishment is being my son." The older man scoffed, truly amused. "You ain't got nothing but that face of yours to offer and that's mine too. Everything good about you came from me. Your poor kid is doomed." Now Puck could handle pretty much anything is dad threw at him, but he was not allowed to bring up Maya, an Gabe knew that. Pulling the car over on the side of the road, he put the car in park and put the hazards on. "Get out." Gabe laughed. "Or what, you'll cry?" he asked with snark. Puck turned to face his father, "Or I'll throw you out my fucking self." He said seriously. "Now you listen here- Puck cut his father off. "You are a weak, feeble, drug addicted alcoholic and as dumb as I might be I'm smart enough to know you can't fight your way out of a paper bag. So you got two options, text me a god damn place to drop you off or get the fuck out." With that he saw hsi father, still smiling, get his phone out and after a minute, Puck's phone vibrated with an address. Plugging it into google maps, he saw they were only fifteen minutes away and started the car again, turning the hazards off. "You say one word and you're out." Again he turned around to look at his father. "Don't test me." Grabbing ahold of Eva's hand again, they drove.

summary: What was suppose to be them christening Eva's new desk turns into Puck and Eva telling Morgan some not so easy news to digest.
word count: 4,834
PUCK had been busy as fuck this week. Between Maya starting her sophomore year of high school, which, according to her, is a 'big deal, dad' and juggling... whatever the fuck Morgan, Eva and him were doing and having all the god damn meeting for the security department, and the reappearance of not only Santana but also his father, the ex-Marine had kind of neglected - more like forgot, about the fact that he was starting college in less than a week. So the last couple of days had been him running around stressed. Oh and speaking of baby mama's- people, baby parents returning, there was the no so small matter of, Andy's kid probbaly being Morgan's and him having no fucking idea. When, Eva had shared her suspicious, truthfully it was the only option that made sense. With Andy's general attitude toward Morgan and the timing, it was clear as fucking day, and Morgan deserved to know. Since Andy was determined to punish both their child and Morgan, that left Eva and Puck to bring it up and Puck just didn't know how the hell it was gonna go, because all he knew is what he would do. Sitting on top of the desk, he looked at Eva. "Do we hold his hand for this or do we give him space? What if he's fucking pissed? I don't know what the man looks like angry but it can't be good. Well, nah, he's probably hot as fuck angry, but you know what I mean." Then Puck ran his hand over his face. "What if he's sad?" Puck was really shit at comforting people, he was a fix it kinda guy not a cry on my shoulder type.
EVA To say that this week hadn't been hectic and messy as hell would be quite the understatement. Eva had dragged her feet all summer and put her syllabus off, as well as not deciding how to decorate her classroom, so she was in crunch mode essentially. And as if she needed another thing on her plate, that convo with Andy had left her wanting to fight for multiple reasons, but it also left her at a crossroads, which was why she'd filled Puck in on it. He had a kid himself and while his situation was different, and had no drama, she knew he'd probably have a better idea of what they should do. And of course, he did. While their plans had been to have sex in her classroom at first, things had shifted to them using the neutral space to tell Morgan their suspicions. Could she be wrong about this? Sure. Did Morgan at least deserve to know and get a paternity test done to be certain? Absolutely. Trying not pace around her classroom, Puck speaking pulled her out of her head and she sighed as she glanced over at him. "Maybe we give him space. Just to be safe." She hummed as she opened her laptop and pulled the conversation up just in case Morgan needed to read through it and see why 2+2=4 in this equation. "He'll probably feel a lot of emotions, so we just...let him feel them, and then we ask him what he needs from us." God, this right here was why she didn't want kids herself, or to be involved with them period, but there was no turning back now.
MORGAN was happy. The wind was blowing through the car, the dirt was whirled behind the wheels up into the air, and the sound of "Carry on Wayward Son" by Kansas was blasting through the speakers of the red pick-up truck, as it zoomed from his ranch into the city. The gravel was soon replaced by real concrete, and it didn't take long to find the first stoplight, and therefore the first sign of the city. The cowboy's hands were banging against the steering wheel to the beat of the song, and he was grinning as the guitar solos rang through his ears. He could smell the sweet cake that was next to him on the passenger seat. Eva and Puck had been incredibly busy lately, getting themselves ready for the new semester. It was so cute, how they were both new at this; Puck being a student, and Eva being a professor. So the tall man wanted to show up and support his two lovers in any kind of way that he could. He'd parked the car, grabbed the little cake box and had headed into one of the many buildings on campus. There were so many damn doors, he had to stop and ask some random person for directions. "Ms. Ander- I mean, Professor Anderson's office?" He was shown with a point, and Morgan gave the person a big smile and nodded. "Thank you! Have a great day!" He almost skipped down the hallway towards the door, knowing what two people he'd be seeing behind it, but he knocked a few times - trying to see if he could knock a little happy tune - before he opened the door and greeted Puck and Eva with a grin. "Howdy, y'all!" He moved in to peck each of their lips, and set the cake down. "Chocolate cake. I wasn't sure- I mean, I tried my best. It tastes okay." He chuckled nervously, his hand scratching the back of his head, before he snapped out of it and took a step back to admire the desk that had been assembled, and afterwards the rest of the office. "It's looks really good in here! Very professional!"
PUCK nodded in understanding of what Eva ws saying. It was probably best to give him space, and to not immediately go into talking about how to go about ensuring Morgan get the DNA test he's going to need. Only if Morgan specifically asked. Puck could be a shoulder, he has very nice and broad shoulders that are perfect for crying on, so he can put them to use and just mentally think of how to fix it, so if Morgan does come to him wanting help he'll be ready. Yeah, Puck could do the emotional intelligence thing. Just as he was about to say something, the thought was lost at the Sound of a very happy 'Howdy y'all!'. Dear god this was gonna be rough and Puck was ready to back out and just fuck on the desk like they were originally planning. But then he was getting a sweet little peck and there was a homemade chocolate cake and Puck had never wanted to be the bearer of tense news less than he did right now. But damn if Morgan was the sweetest man he'd ever encountered for making them a whole ass cake. "Hey chocolate cake made by you, gotta be good." He said supportively because he was all about encouraging chocolate cake. "Our girl knows how to make anything look good, don't she?" He looked over at Eva with a smile before getting off the desk to sit in one of the chairs by the cake. "Why'd you make us a cake?" He asked genuinely curious but also stalling.
EVA didn't like this any more than Puck did, but after blowing up with Andy, she was trying to prepare herself to be the calm one. After all, Puck was a parent and was seeing this from a parental POV, whereas she was simply just wanting to do the right thing for someone she cared about. Delivering this news was going to crush Morgan, but someone had to be strong in this situation. Though, as soon as Morgan came bouncing in with a cake, she didn't know how she'd get through this. Smiling softly at the peck, she glanced at the cake and only now did she actually remember him wanting to bake one for them. And it was a very cute gesture, one she would have been a lot more stoked about if not for the elephant in the room. Taking in the compliment about her room, which led to Puck throwing out one too, Eva shook her head. "Okay, okay. I barely did much in here, but thanks, boys." She giggled. She was grateful that Puck decided to stall first, so she pushed the chair to the desk back a little and motioned for Morgan to have a seat. "Yeah, I know the sex has been amazing, but what did we do to deserve a cake? Not that we're complaining, and I'm sure much like anything else you've made for us, this is gonna taste great, but what's this for?"
MORGAN moved around the quaint space, looking around as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. He knew that it was about to become an intense time for both Puck and Eva. They wouldn't have as much time for their little fun shenanigans once work and school kicked in, so Morgan was soaking it all up. For the first time, he really truly understood why people were in relationships; the time spent together, memories being made, getting closer and learning more about each other. It excited him! So, knowing that he probably wasn't going to see them as much going forward, any time spent with the two was now cherished time. Turning around at their questions regarding the cake he'd made for them, a slight red tint grew on his cheeks. "Oh, well, y'know- you guys are working hard, gotta get some sugar in ya!" Was it because he was trying to impress them? Absolutely. For Morgan, one of his main love languages was acts of service - and what better way to show people he cared about them, than through cooking? Baking was something he wasn't so good at, but everyone liked baked goods. He watched as Eva pulled out the chair, and moved to sit down, his hands coming out of his pockets and instead going behind his head as he leaned back. "So, what's up? You guys seemed so quiet when I got here."
PUCK was not thrilled that all of this was happening so early in the development of this... throuple. They really seemed like they were headed somewhere and it's not like going through big shit isn't an importnt part of building any legit relationship, but, what if it was too early? It was hard for Puck to imagine that this kind of news wasn't going to be too much strain for something so new. While Puck wasn't ready to lose this, he was aware it was a possibility. But, it was also possible that this whole thing, while messy, could bring them all closer together. That sounded equally as scary and Puck was kind of ready to just bolt and let Eva do this shit on her own. I mean, she was the one who spoke to Andy, why was he even here? Right, for support. "For future reference I'm cool with there being no reason for a chocolate cake, but that's actually fucking adorable." He'd eat some later, right now his stomach was not feeling the whole food thing, he needed to get all this possible kid shit out first. "Unlike you I've got self control." He said with a smile, regerencing the other night when Puck walked in to Morgan and Eva two second from fucking on the couch. "Nah, we were just waiting for you, big guy." He said, looking to Eva, because she'd definitely explain all this better.
EVA couldn't help but give a half of a smile at Morgan simply baking them a cake simply for being stressed out about the school season starting. It was really thoughtful, and he hadn't even needed to go out of his way for them like this but she appreciated it anyways. She nodded in agreement with Puck's sentiments. "Yeah, I'll take anything you wanna make for me too, for any reason or no reason at all." When Puck didn't make a move to cut the cake and grab a piece, she assumed they were both in the same position of not having an appetite for it at the moment. Deciding to let Puck's other comment slide as Morgan took his seat, she was already trying to sort out how to break this news to him when the ball was practically being thrown in her court. And she would have been slapping Puck's arm if it didn't make sense for her to be the one to break the news, so she hopped up on her desk and turned to face Morgan. "We technically planned for all three of us to break in my new desk, but then something came up." She sighed. "First of all, I may have overstepped a boundary or two with your former lover and friend, Andy. We were talking about you, and they gave a timeline for you two breaking up and them getting pregnant...and to me, it sounded like you might be the father. I tried to push an answer out of them and they got super defensive, and they went from denying it to basically assuming that I was trying to come for their son and threatening to take legal action, and then saying they wouldn't let you around the son because of me now. Which isn't confirmation that you are the father, and I didn't actually come for your son which you can see for yourself but — anyways, I told Puck and we both thought that if anything, you deserve to talk to Andy and get answers in case I'm right." Once it was all out there, she finally exhaled another breath before shrugging. "I'm sorry, that was a lot, and I could be fucking wrong, but it doesn't hurt for you to be sure, right?"
MORGAN smiled as Puck talked. The man oozed confidence like nothing he'd ever seen before; it wasn't until he was in a more intimate setting that that confidence started to crack a little, but Morgan wasn't the type of person to cause those cracks to become bigger. He just appreciated the fact that he wasn't just one big facade, and that there was more to him than that, even if he probably wouldn't let people believe that. Eva, on the other hand, really was confident through and through - in the best way possible. It was the type of confidence where she really believed in herself, and didn't hesitate about her next move. She was tough and badass, and Morgan felt so incredibly honored to have been let in to see the softer and sweeter side of her. It was the sides of these two people that Morgan constantly hungered for; that sweetness, that closeness, the bond that they had. And maybe he was trying everything he could, to further grow it. So his eyes went from Puck to Eva, as it seemed like he kinda passed the baton on to her, and Morgan listened intently as she started telling everything about the conversations that the tall cowboy had blissfully been unaware of. His throat started closing and becoming dry, his heart beat picked up, and he found himself wanting to melt into the chair and not exist anymore. The words 'pregnant', 'son', 'defensive' and 'threatening' seemed so loud in his head. Blinking a few times, Morgan looked away, his breathing getting slightly heavier. He couldn't keep sitting. He was feeling restless, needing to get that anxious energy out of his body. So he stood up quickly, turning his back to Eva and Puck as she finished explaining. And the wheels inside Morgan's head started turning. What was he supposed to say to them? What was he supposed to say to anyone? He walked up to the wall, his fingers pushing one of the framed pictures up slightly, making it hang more straight as he took a deep breath. He knew what to tell them.
"I've already spoken to Andy about it." He said quietly, and turned to the two. "A few weeks ago, I asked them. He's not mine." Morgan walked up to the back of the chair, holding onto it, as if to hold on to his anger and keep it inside. "I've known Andy since I was a kid, they wouldn't lie to me. Not about that. And I believe them. But to threaten you? To take their frustrations with me, and our break-up, out on you?" Morgan's eyes never left Eva's. He wanted to make sure she understood this. His fingers tightened around the fabric of the chair. He was thoroughly pissed off. "To do anything that would cause you any kind of hurt?" He was quiet for a moment as he breathed heavily. The idea of Andy even doing that hurt him. "I'll talk to them about it."
PUCK fell as silent as he's ever been, back a little straighter, like this conversation demanded him to be at attention. As Eva spoke, Puck never looked away from Morgan, he wanted to read every micro-expression and his body language, as if it would give him the ability to read his mind or emotions. Once Morgan turned from them, Puck knew the taller man was in thought and needed a minute to process before he spoke again. Both Morgan and Eva were better at thinking before speaking than Puck was. Looking over at the professor he sighed before his eyes went right back to Morgan. It didn't really surprise him that Morgan had already asked Andy about all of this. I mean if Eva can do the math so could he, but it did surprise him how easily he was willing to accept it as the truth. While Puck didn't know Andy, he knew people and people did fucked up shit when they were angry, hurt and/or scared and from what he knows, Andy was all of those things after their breakup with Morgan. Again, his eyes stayed on Morgan, even as Morgan looked so intently at Eva, like he'd hurt anyone that brought harm to her and he wondered if being regarded by the cowboy felt as incredible as it looked, he'd have to ask Eva later. Standing up, Puck made a little nose to break the moment with his hair, which, interrupting moments between these two is starting to become his thing. "Look I don't know Andy but I do know hurt and angry folk don't act like themselves. I'm not saying they're lying to you, I'm saying they could be and I'm telling you as a father, you're gonna be heartbroken if that little boy is yours and you lose anymore time with him." All he could think was how devestated he'd have been if Maya had been kept from him, if he had missed two years of firsts. "You owe it to that kid and to yourself to make damn sure it ain't you no matter what Andy says." Maybe he had spoken out of turn but it was too late now.
EVA had half expected Morgan to need to get up, so she didn't even flinch when it happened. He was much calmer than most people would be in his shoes, but she was used to this sort of softness to him anyways so it was on brand for him. But as she watched him adjust a frame on her wall, all she could do was sigh. That was until he started explaining that he'd already asked Andy and they'd said no. That was exactly what Andy had said to her when she'd first started asking, before they got defensive. It had been bullshit, and for someone who could sell anyone anything, she knew the antics of someone trying to craft a narrative that was false and then breaking when someone challenged it. This was probably the first time the kid's paternity had come into question like this, it seemed to her as though Andy hadn't been prepared for it. Letting Morgan get worked up over Andy taking their frustration out of her, she kept her eyes locked on his until he'd finished. This situation had just gone from messy to pure hell, and as she glanced over at Puck as he spoke, she was grateful that he was pushing this as much as she was. "Puck's right. You can check the conversation for yourself if you want, but..let's just take a step back here." Eva suggested, nonchalantly shrugging her shoulders. "Andy implied two things: they're still in love with you and can't be just friends with you, and they still think you're the same person you were three years ago and that you can't make time for work. They can't let you back into their life, let alone the kid's, if you're going to do what you did before. Their words, not mine. I tried to tell them that you're different now, that you have no problem making time now, and it fell on deaf ears." She explained, tempted to roll her eyes at how hard Andy had pushed back on it when they didn't know the man Morgan was now. "And don't worry about them coming for me. I can handle myself." She reassured him with a small smile.
MORGAN's jaw clenched as he stayed silent. He didn't know what to say, didn't know what to do, didn't even know what to think! He was frustrated, sad, angry. He could see where Puck and Eva were coming from, pushing for him to do something. All the signs were pointing towards it. Why else would Andy be so angry at him? It made sense! He didn't make time for them before, so why would he make time for their kid now? And that kind of mindset was being held against him. It was why they were so angry with him! But then again, Morgan came back to the fact that Andy just simply wouldn't lie to him. They never had before, why would they start now? Morgan's head was starting to hurt, as he was being pulled in both directions, and the palm of his hand rubbed his temple softly as he thought about what was next. "Andy's not in love with me. Is there still love between us? Yes! But it's the kind of love that never leaves two old best friends." Morgan claimed, looking between his two lovers. His voice was slightly louder than before, but he also knew other people were working in offices next door. "D'ya really not think they'd tell me, if the boy was mine?" Morgan asked, almost hesitant and like he didn't believe it himself. "I just..." closing his eyes, Morgan ran a hand through his hair, groaning quietly in frustration. "I'll talk to them." He sighed, a sudden wave of surrendering washing over him. He looked back at the two gorgeous people in front of him, sad that all of this had happened. "I'm sorry."
EVA was certain that they'd somehow taken a trip to delulu land when Morgan first shot down the idea that Andy was still in love with him. It was wild and utterly ridiculous to her that they'd still be clutching onto feelings from three years ago; however, she'd never fallen in love herself, or had a kid, so all she could do was assume that this was the type of dumb shit people did when they had one or both of those. Her jaw dropped yet again when he questioned whether they thought Andy would lie about the kid's paternity, which was the whole reason they were here after all. She just stared at him blankly as he seemed to be at least agreeing to talk to Andy, and then when Puck didn't immediately speak up, she took that as her cue and grabbed her laptop, scrolling to the important parts of that convo. "Cowboy, listen to me closely. Their exact words were: "I'm still bitter, I still love him, I can't just be his friend." Oh, and then my personal favorite was: "I just don't see a future where he and I end up together anymore and as it stands, I can't see myself going back to being just friends with him either." I might not know or like Andy very much at this moment, but that's not friend love. In fact, they also doubt that you two were ever really friends, which I'm gonna guess is them thinking that you leaving them means you weren't a real friend or lover or whatever." Eva stated before she sat her laptop down and exhaled a small breath. "I'm not saying they're a bad person, and my guess is that Andy is lying because they're afraid that you won't stick around for your son just like you didn't stay for them. Pretty sure it's also because they don't want you around as just a father to your son if they can't have you back as a lover, but that's a whole other issue. I can't judge their way of trying to protect their son — but if he is yours, you have every right to know and to be given a fair chance to prove Andy wrong. That's all we're saying."
PUCK was grateful when after Morgan spoke Eva was right there to swoop in with a response, because Puck just couldn't stop looking at Morgan. Why did he seem so calm? I mean, Puck noticed the jaw clench and that was a clear indicator of growing frustration and it made him wonder how much he could hold down before he all came pouring out and when it did who would it be aimed at, what would it look like. Morgan had already made it clear that he'll be damned if any harm comes to Eva, so he probably wouldn't direct it there. Would it be him? Would Puck have to bare his anger and frustration? He could handle it, he had endured much worse. As Eva kept talking Puck could only imagine hearing Andy's own words was tough. And very uncharacteristically, Puck wanted to comfort Morgan and tell him, no matter what it's all gonna be okay. That they would be there with him to figure this out and help him through it, but instead he stood where he was and waited for Eva to finish because even though what she was saying might be hard to hear she was 100% right and Morgan needed to hear it. "All this is... a lot. I'm guessing it's gut wrenching to think your Andy, your childhood friend, could maybe do something like this to you, but it's just a possibility, something to prepare for." Puck tried to reassure without sugarcoating, too much. "You definitely ain't gotta be sorry. Life's always throwing shit at us that we aren't sure we can catch but it ain't just you, you know? you got people. Not to sound like an after school special, but you aren't alone in any of this, man." Again, Puck was shit at this, but he was trying.
MORGAN ran a hand through his hair, watching Eva pick up her laptop and pull out the evidence. He was beginning to get frustrated. He knew it wasn't their intentions, he knew that all they were doing, was to make him aware of it and ask him to do something - especially if Oakley was his after all! And that it was all coming from the best of intentions! But as Eva read out loud exactly what Andy had said, he couldn't help but almost feel like he was being shown his mistakes, or even being made to choose. Some irrational part of him was whispering in his ear that this could also be Eva and Puck's way of getting rid of Morgan. But that was the completely irrational part of him that he, nine times out of ten, didn't believe in after all. As Eva kept explaining, Morgan had to look down at the ground. He hated this. It was heartbreaking, hearing that his ex had spoken to his...situation like that, but also that his situation suspected his ex of not telling the truth. Eva finished and Puck picked up, following after, and Morgan's eyes shot up, finding his dark brown ones. The ones that he could find himself staring into and get lost in for way too long. Nodding along slowly, Morgan sucked in a deep breath, and nodded to himself, making a decision in his mind. "Thank you for this." He said and pushed the chair in, giving both Eva and Puck a look that was determined. "Enjoy the cake." And with that, Morgan started walking, leaving the room. He almost felt the need to be sick, but he just had to get away. He needed time to think about how the hell to approach Andy like this. And how to make it up to Puck and Eva. But that required him to be alone. And so, he left; left to go home to think.

MORGAN The opening credits had rung out that catchy drum intro, Dolly Parton had guest-starred, and Miley had fallen in love with egocentric superstar Jake Ryan. That was the basic run-down of the Hannah Montana episode that was currently playing on the TV, in the dark living room at Morgan's ranch. After a day spent with Eva, he couldn't picture a better way to end it, than to be on the couch with her, blanket draped over them, and a half-eaten bowl of popcorn in front of them, watching a show that Morgan clearly had grown obsessed with, thanks to the beauty next to him. "Y'know," Morgan started softly, not wanting to surprise Eva with his sudden voice after the quiet. "I have to admit something to ya..." Morgan reached over for the remote and paused the episode, just as Miley stopped playing her acoustic version of 'If We Were A Movie', that Dolly had sneakily listened in on. "I've secretly been listening to her albums in the car."
EVA While Eva would never turn down a Hannah Montana binge, she was ecstatic to see that Morgan was now equally obsessed (or maybe more so than her) with the show. She'd lost count of how many times she'd seen most of these eps but she was close to reciting every line, but especially with this one episode, which Morgan was zoned in on. It was so adorable that she found herself studying him more than the screen, so she wasn't startled at all when he spoke up. She was caught off guard, however, when he paused the show, though it quickly went away when he opened his mouth again. "Why is that a secret? I used to do that all the time." She admitted and shrugged. "But let me guess: you've learned the lyrics now and can't get them out of your head?"
MORGAN "Yes!" Morgan exclaimed, sitting up slightly to get a proper look at Eva. How was she so good at just knowing those things about him? She'd been, ever since the mixer, and it astonished him how well in tune she was with him. "They're so catchy!" Morgan jumped up from his seat on the couch, knocking over the leftover bowl of popcorn, and landed on the coffee table in front of them, almost slipping on a fruit bowl. "If we were a movie, you'd be the right guy," Morgan started singing, loudly and incredibly bad. "And I'd be the best friend that you'd fall in love with," remembering the remote in his hand, the cowboy pretended to use it as a microphone, continuing to pour his heart out in the song. "In the end, we'd be laughin', watchin' the sunset" He pointed to Eva, making eye contact and grinning at her, "Fade to black, show the names, play the happy song." He finished and jumped back down again, kneeling in front of Eva. "How can I ever thank you for introducing me to such an icon?"
EVA Eva's eyes widened at his excitement. It had been a fair guess really, but she didn't fault him for still being stoked over her figuring out where he was going with this. "They are super catchy, which is probably why—" Her words were cut off at the sudden commotion, and she barely fought to contain her laughter in response. She wasn't even expecting him to get so carried away with his reaction, but it was still kinda adorable anyways. Before she could say anything else, he was belting out the lyrics to the song, and Eva went from gasping to trying not to scrunch up her face in response to how off pitch her was. She couldn't knock his attempt though, and once he finished, she simply smiled as she reached a hand out and gently cradled his face in said hand. "Oh, that performance was more than enough, babe." She giggled. "But if you must reward me somehow, I think we still have like fifteen horses to go, so let's add in a few more orgasms to go along with those rides, and we can call it even."
MORGAN This was so unlike Morgan. He had barely been the type of person who'd date, and nevermind belt out into song, but here he was, doing just that. And it was all for Eva. He felt like he could act silly around her, and if that warranted a laugh, then he was thrilled. Grinning from ear to ear at her reaction, Morgan felt his heart skip, as if it was jumping from cloud to cloud. The feeling of her hand on his cheek, and the way she giggled was enough to have Morgan's knee shake under him. He nodded eagerly at her proposal and chuckled. "If that ain't a done deal, then I don't know what it is," He said and moved in, pushing Eva against the backrest of the couch, his eyes closing and his lips pressing against hers softly. Hannah Montana could wait, they were busy now. Until Morgan's phone vibrated and lit up on the coffee table. He groaned at the interruption, and pulled back from the kiss, his forehead moving to rest against Eva's temple. "Do we think it's important?"
EVA By now, Eva was well aware that Morgan (and Puck) would pretty much agree to anything she asked, so she hadn't expected anything less than him nodding and agreeing to her request. It was quite the arrangement, in her opinion, and it was a win win for them both. She smirked at the verbal confirmation, and then she was being pushed back against the couch as Morgan leaned in to kiss her, and she instantly returned it. With how things had been progressing lately, one kiss never stopped there and she was prepared to let things progress further than that until she heard the phone on the coffee table, followed by a vibration just inches away from her own phone that was somewhere on one of the couch cushions. At Morgan's question, she nodded. "That was both of our phones so unless we're in an episode of Pretty Little Liars and that's A sending some cryptic shit, I'm gonna assume that was Puck drunk texting the group chat." She hummed, and considering no one else would text them both at the same time, that was the only explanation. Reaching her free hand over to grab her phone, she used her face to unlock it and sure enough, it was their third. "Just like a man." She teased as she spun her phone around to show Morgan the text.
MORGAN As soon as Eva started speaking, Morgan pulled away slightly, leaving only a tiny gap between them, but it was enough for him to take in her beauty as she spoke. He really hadn't been joking when he'd called her a goddess. Her lips moved with every syllable, her tongue hitting her teeth every now and then, and the corners moving up and down ever so slightly. As her words came out he registered them. "That's another show ya gotta introduce me to," Morgan grinned, and moved slightly as she got her phone and showed him the text. That's my boy, Morgan thought to himself with a smirk on his face, and took the phone out of Eva's hands, typing up a reply. 'Waiting for you' and sent it, on behalf of Eva and himself. "And now we kill the waiting time," Morgan said, losing the girl's phone in the couch cushions, grabbing her under her thighs, and pulling her down under him, so she was flat on the couch and completely covered by him, and he could go back to hungrily kissing her.
PUCK It took no time for Puck to excuse himself from the party once he got the 'waiting for you' text. For some reason getting hit on by two dudes and thinking for a hot second a threesome might have been on the table, just made him want Eva and Morgan. Being with them was like making art, or at least what Puck imagined making art was like. Hard, creative and satisfying in the end. Thankfully he wasn't drunk, hadn't even bothered with the drinks because he'd been so distracted by the food. Some of which he was bringing with him, because he wasn't sure if they had eaten or not and he wasn't going to think to hard on why he even cared. Not too long after he got in his truck, he was pulling up to Morgan's place, food in hand and pleased when the door was unlocked. Going to the kitchen first he put the food down, and then went to find his lovers. It didn't take long to see them getting into it on the couch. He watched for a moment. God damn! He thought to himself. Never had he deen two more beautiful people and fuck did they look good horizontal on a couch, two seconds from dry humping. Clearing his throat, he almost hated to break it up. Almost. "You got room for one more or you want me to come back later?..." He asked with a smirk on his face.
EVA After Puck's birthday, it was safe to say that her relationships with both men had shifted, and Eva couldn't even handle a simple make out without needing more. Her body just instantly reacted as soon as Morgan dove right in, arching into his hold as they kissed. She was so wrapped up in trying not to rip her clothes off, along with his, that she hadn't even remotely heard a sound as Puck came in. It wasn't until his signal that she finally broke the kiss and glanced his way. "You know we have room for you, babe." She stated as she smirked over at him. "What's the crown for? Were you the hottest guy at that stupid party and someone gave you a crown for it? Or did one of your admirers give it to you in hopes of sucking your dick on one of those upper levels?" Eva questioned curiously.
MORGAN It was almost like Morgan was constantly insatiable whenever he was around Eva and Puck. He got satisfied; there wasn't a problem there, at all! But he could never have enough of them, for some reason. He wanted to stay in those moments with them forever, when he finally got them. Before he found out that his work had been taking his time, he never would've felt like this. But now, it was like he had so much to catch up on, and he only wanted to catch up with those two. That was why he, once again, groaned as Eva's lips left his, this time with him not being in charge of that choice. He'd been kissing her lips to feel that softness and kissing her neck to hear that breathlessness, had felt the curves of her thighs, ass and waist with his hands, was ready to start causing some friction between the two of them, and had gone back to feeling the softness of her lips again, when Eva had pulled away, and Morgan belatedly took in the fact that it was Puck who'd interrupted, like he was told to do anyway, like the good boy he was. Breathing heavily, Morgan sat up on his knees and took a look at Puck as he stood across the room, and the light from the hallway lit him up. God, what a sight. Eva questioned Puck out for this event, and when the last question rung out, Morgan immediately spoke up. "It better only be the first option. Come 'ere if it is," Morgan motioned for him, and moved to the side, so there was room for Puck too.
PUCK The correct reaction to Eva's questions would be to tell her it's none of your business and I'm here now and why don't we focus on the here and now. Instead, he was smiling because it felt good that she might be a little jealous of these admirers of his. Felt even better to have Morgan confirm he didn't want anyone else on Puck's dick but them. Truthfully, being at that party without them had felt kind of lonely, even though he did connect with a decent amount of people when it came to hooking up or even flirting it just didn't feel right. But being here, squeezing himelf between them on the couch, that felt right. Leaning over to Eva, he gave her a sweet kiss, before turning and doing the same to Morgan. "It was a zodiac party, not the killer, the signs. I wore a crown 'cause i'm a king, baby." He put an arm around the back of the couch, across Eva's shoulders. "I've only got two admirers I let suck my dick these days and they wren't there." He leaned into Morgan. "Is that Hannah Montana?" He asked looking at the TV.
EVA Eva wasn't the jealous type, as if she'd ever had any reason to be anyways, but she also knew that all three parties of this throuple had admirers and if the last PSU event had been anything to go by, she was sure that most people in attendance were drunk and horny. She wouldn't have even blamed them for wanting to be all over Puck, since that was what her and Morgan wanted too, but she wasn't pressed about it either. But Morgan seemed to be thinking the same way that she was, so she simply giggled as she sat back up on the couch just in time for Puck to come over and kiss her. "Wait, did you think it was a zodiac killer party?" She asked, though she was sure the answer was yes. Leaning into the arm now around her shoulders, Eva shrugged. "Nice save. But duh, it's Hannah Montana. Which might not be your thing, and if it isn't that's fine, but our boy Morgan here is addicted now. You just missed his..interesting performance of one of her songs. He got the lyrics right, but the keys? Not so much." She giggled before she glanced over at Morgan. "It was still lovely though, cowboy."
MORGAN Morgan kept his eyes on Puck as he watched him make his way over to the other two on the couch, and he smirked. That was all he needed to know, in terms of Puck not being with other people. The three hadn’t exactly made this whole throuple situation exclusive, but Morgan wasn’t flirting or even seeing anyone else but those two, and he was hoping that they’d accepted that silent agreement too. Furrowing his eyebrows as Puck kept explaining, the tall cowboy couldn’t be any more confused. “So, it wasn’t some kinda murder mystery party? Not that it could ever beat this company,” Morgan said, referring to Eva, “but I do love me a good murder mystery.” Morgan grinned and laid down, putting his head next to Eva’s. He could smell her sweet shampoo from there. Chuckling at her comments about his spontaneous singing-outburst, Morgan shrugged his shoulders. “Hey, I never claimed to be a professional troubadour! Just a professional Hannah Montana fan.” And he wasn’t embarrassed by it either. Humming, Morgan turned to face Puck again and he reached over, poking at the crown. “So, you decided to ditch their party to join ours? Why?”
PUCK "Yup." He answered Eva, getting more comfortable on the couch. "Almost went there with fake blood on my shirt for the vibe but last second Maya was like, 'It's a zodiac party' and I'm like yeah kid, I know and she was like 'Zodiac sign, not killer'. So thank God for her." He laughed at the memory, truly he was lucky one of them was smart. "But there was a dude there dressed as Mark Ruffalo's character in Zodiac so it wasn't just us." He said more to Morgan, since apparently they'd both thought the same thing. Listening to Eva and Morgan talk about their night, he smiled, it sounded nice. For the first time in a while he thought it might have been better to just hang with them in the first place than go to the party. "It was If We Were a Movie wasn't it?" He guessed, because it was the song that usually got stuck in his head, unless you count the little riff Miley does for the transitions. Until Morgan poked it, Puck had forgotten the crown was even on his head, which was probably a very Leo thing of him to do. Shrugging, he wasn't sure he wanted to share the real answer, seemed like too much for whatever this trio was doing. "There was just too many people trynna suck my dick, it was overwhelming, didn't know where to start." He smirked like the fuckboi he use to be.
EVA Honestly, Eva should have expected men to assumed zodiac meant the killer and not the actual signs, but she was still extremely amused by this anyways. "Y'all know women are all into that astrology shit nowadays, but I can see why y'all would think it was a murder mystery party." If it had been that instead, she probably would have been more inclined to attend, but it being the signs was exactly why she hadn't bothered. She smiled when Puck, who apparently claimed not to be as into Hannah Montana as they were, knew exactly what song Morgan had been singing. Maybe it was just that easy to guess? "It was exactly that song, and it wasn't horrendous, just pitchy. But then again, I do come from a musically gifted parent, so maybe I was just judging you too harshly, babe." She decided, and that could stick for now. She glanced at the crown briefly before rolling her eyes playfully as Puck admitted what she'd already suspected. Of course that party was just another fuck fest, hence why Eva had opted to sit it out. She had two dicks she could alternate between so it hadn't been appealing to attend this party. "Yeah, once the drinks start flowing, so does the hormones." She hummed. "But hey, other than what you just walked in on, we've been binging Hannah Montana and hanging out, so like it's much less stressful and thirsty over here." She beamed.
MORGAN It felt really nice to be in a situation where Puck felt open enough to share things about Maya with the both of them; he didn’t know if that was a common thing for him to do with Eva, and if Eva had even met Maya yet, but he wasn’t going to put too much thought into that right in this moment; the important thing for Morgan to note, was that he felt comfortable enough to do it, given his recent observations with the other man being a bit more closed off than himself. He couldn’t help but let out a laugh as Puck kept telling about the party, and how ridiculous it all sounded; it wasn’t his type of crowd, and it would’ve taken something special, for him to go. Especially when Eva started bringing up the hormones, and how it had seemed like the mixer had become a bit of a flirt-fest; he could testament to that, with Eva. Morgan kept quiet as the two talked, admiring their energy and chemistry, and how well they played off each other. He hummed along as the girl told the other man what they’d been up to, and he sat up, his long legs moving over the backrest of the couch to stand on the floor, and move to get the remote. “Speak for yourself, gorgeous,” Morgan smirked, talking to Eva, and turned the TV off, before kneeling back down on the floor, in front of the couch again, like he’d done before. He crossed his arms on the cushion, and rested his chin on them, looking at the two beauties in front of him, admiring them. “I feel like I’m always thirsty with the two of you around.”
PUCK "'Course I know that. How do you think I found out my sign in the first place. Some chick with beads in her hair did a whole chart thing." If you ask Puck, it should have been a murder mystery party, that would've been dope. He should see if there was one of those places around here, maybe it could be a date for all of them, or an escape room. Or both. Something told Puck he'd be hearing Morgan sing something off key and adorably some day and he was already looking forward to it. "It's the song that gets stuck in my head so gotta get stuck in other people's." Normally, he'd sing it because he'd ridiculous but he kind of hated singing in front of people that were his mom or Maya. Laughing at her commentary on the PSU events, because it was true. Damn did folks get horny with a drink or two in 'em. It was something else. "I don't know, y'all looked pretty hormonal over here. Felt bad inturupting, wanted to see how long it'd take ya to notice me." Usually, Puck wasn't much of a voyeur but you'd want to watch them fuck too, if you could. Watching Morgan as he moved and turned the TV off, he had to admit he liked the sight of him kneeling in front of them like this. "I ain't thirsty, I just appreciate the art that is y'alls bodies and the music those noises i get out of you make."
EVA "Someone with beads in their hair?" Eva repeated, but then decided that she didn't even need to ask any other questions about it. Whatever went on at that party was probably off the walls, so she didn't need to know anything else. She smiled as Puck confirmed that the song got stuck in his head, and now she knew what to play the next time she was in the car with him. "I'll expand that discography one day, don't worry. Both of you are gonna be doing the Hoedown Throwdown with me on Instagram or TikTok soon enough." She warned, and while it wasn't the usual content she put on her socials, there was no way in hell she wouldn't have them both in cowboy boots and hats doing the dance one of these days. Blushing as Puck called them out, she playfully swatted his arm. "We had to do something while we waited for you but in our defense, you could've skipped the party altogether and been here this whole time, so that's on you." She shrugged as she watched Morgan get down on his knees again. Leave it to them both to be thinking with their dicks the first time they were all in the same room again. "You're both thirsty, as you should be — but hold up. Are we making this a thing? I mean, I know I've talked to both of you separately about the fact that we liked the threesome, and we all have our own relationships with each other outside of this, but we are all on the same page, right?"
MORGAN There were still so many things that Morgan deemed incredibly 'Los Angeles' - a girl with beads in her hair was something he pictured his grandparents would've dealt with, back in the 60s and 70s, but then again, it was absolutely plausible that it'd take place in LA today. Instagram and TikTok were other things that, to Morgan, just felt more 'LA', despite knowing that it was universal. He himself didn't have accounts on social media - he was too busy for that. But he always enjoyed hearing about the latest trends; it was almost like hearing about a fun bar fight, but thankfully not having been there himself to have gotten injured. "Hoedown Throwdown? Sounds like I could get down with that." Morgan mused with a soft smile on his face - at this point, participating in those things meant he got to be around either one or both of them, and he for sure wasn't gonna say 'no' to that! As Eva asked about the threesome, it was clear in Morgan's brain what the answer would be, but it was also really nice knowing the two of them had discussed it on their own, and had even enjoyed it enough to not be declining the invitation to another; the flirting with each other was confirmation enough for that, let alone Puck being okay with watching Eva and Morgan. "Mhmm, I personally wouldn't hate it," Morgan said, his voice soft as he was feeling the other two out. He'd also pretty much given up flirting, and he definitely made sure not to see anyone, outside of them - not that they were exclusive, but he felt like he at least owed it to them to be more or less just focused on them. "I mean, if y'all are up for it? I know that a team of wild horses couldn't tear me apart from an opportunity like that. Have ya seen the two of you? Damn! And y'all know how much a good time I had on Puck's birthday!"
PUCK Just the thought of having to do that dance was making his shoulder and knees act up. Even though Maya should have been too young for Hannah Montana, Disney Channel use to play reruns and let's just say the Hoedown Throwdown was a staple in the Puckerman household for months. But he figured he'd let Eva 'teach' him because he liked being bossed around by beautiful women. So he just smiled at her and silently agreed to dance whatever and film whatever she wanted. Listening Eva and Morgan talk about what they were doing was starting to make chest feel tight. It wasn't, but it sounded a lot like the,'what are we?' talk and Puck had never been a fan of that particular question. It put a lot of commitment on him and he was a father, who made his kid his priority even if she was a bit to old to use as an excuse for non-commitment and whatever this thing was, a poly- poly something, wasn't traditional and he struggled to commit to one person let alone two people. But it was fine, he could breathe because this wasn't that talk, this was just them establishing that they like the whole threesome thing, which he did, so they were all on the same page. It wasn't just sex though, and that's what had Puck pausing for so damn long, because if it was just sex, he'd have hooked up with someone at that party instead of feeling kinda guilty for getting some numbers. Shit, he should probably say something. "I'm never gonna say no to a threesome with two tens. As a seasoned threesome guy, I've never had better than this." And that wasn't just a line.
EVA While Eva wasn't exactly doing the influencer thing anymore, she still had quite the following and still did a few things here and there on them, so why not record a video of her and her boys doing a Hannah Montana dance? She smiled as they both seemed to be agreeing to it, though she wasn't sure how good either one of them would even be. "Great, so next time we're all together like this, pre-sex, I'm teaching y'all how to do it." Even if they ended up being horrible at it, it would still be fun and it would be something else they all did together, so she was all for it. While her question hadn't been the serious one, she could at least tell from Puck's extended pause that that it thrown him for a loop, or scared him, while Morgan just seemed to agree with not much hesitation. Eva would unpack both of their reactions if she were the type to do the feelings thing but since she wasn't, all she wanted to do was be sure they were in sync about the threesome aspect about whatever was happening here. "Sounds like we're all on the same page, but..it also doesn't always have to be sex. We can all binge Hannah Montana or 911 or something together, go on a date or something close to that, ride horses together — I can spend time with you both separately but I'm game for us just doing some chill shit altogether too. Just so we're clear." She shrugged.
MORGAN There was a slight confusion still lingering for Morgan. Was this just about sex, or were they actually gonna try and commit to each other? Because he was pretty sure that it was gonna be latter, given that he'd stopped being any type of way with other people. Andy had obviously come into his life again, but it didn't seem like they wanted anything to do with him, except to visit the horses for their kid, so even whatever lingering feelings that were still there for them had been pushed aside and been pretty much forgotten about. But as Eva continued to list activities and things that they could do together, Morgan got confirmation. It sounded pretty exclusive to him! He smiled, delighted at the deal, and that Puck had somehow confirmed too, in his own Puck-way, that he wanted to keep this going, and moved in to give first Eva a peck on the lips and then Puck. "I like this deal, a lot." Morgan started, before putting his chin back on his arms. "So, are we binging stuff tonight, or do we wanna..." Morgan gestured upstairs, a smirk growing on his face as he thought about what the throuple might get up to in his sleeping quarters. His eyes moved between the two, waiting for an answer.
PUCK It was comforting to know he wasn't the only one who just liked spending time all together. Sex or not, romantic whatever or not, Puck just thought Eva and Morgan were cool people who he vibed with. Maybe he wasn't ready to tackle any other feelings but he had long since admitted to wanting to be their friend. As lame as that fucking sounded. So he just nodded at Eva's words and made a mental note to text them all the shit he wants to do with them in the group chat. He wasn't sure how three-way dates went but he was down to find out with these two. Puck licked his lips after Morgan kissed them and was on his feet before Morgan even had time to finish his not so thinly veiled suggestion at another threesome. Offering a hand to both Morgan and Eva, his answer was pretty clear but just in case. "I don't know if it was the insane horniness of that party or if I'm just always half hard for you two, either way you'll be lucky if we make it upstairs." he said with a smirk.
EVA Sure, part of Eva knew that just carrying on without a clear understanding of what this was wouldn't be a good thing in long run, but she wasn't about to kill the mood with that now. In fact, she didn't even know if she were ready for anything this serious, so she was content to just frolic along and play things by ear with her boys. Smiling at the chaste kiss from Morgan, she wasn't even surprised that the cowboy was suggesting both binging or moving things up to his bedroom, just as she wasn't surprised when Puck stood up and made his decision clear. "Baby, you're literally always hard. It's okay to admit that." She shrugged as she hopped up from the couch and took one of Puck's hands into her own. "But we're making it upstairs. I have a work thing this week and I don't need any sex bruises from the staircase showing in any photos I take." She teased.
MORGAN Morgan had always been a very restless man, always needing to do something, always up and running about, always finding things to be busy with. He couldn't sit still, unless that was the activity that had been set for him. But that had been true to his sex life too. He liked to think that his stamina was decent, he could hold out for quite a while, and it always felt like he could go for another round pretty quickly after. And he was grateful that Puck and Eva seemed to be on the same page with that. There was a need, a hunger for them. Like a bad drug, he wanted more and more. So when they agreed, and he watched them stand up with the same kind of eagerness that Morgan felt inside, that was when he knew he was around the right kind of people for his sex life. He got up on his feet, and slapped Eva's ass teasingly, before leading the way up. "So does that mean no fun hickies?"
PUCK "That's not true. I spend a lot of my time soft, I'm just always hard for you." He said like it was a sweet sentiment, even gave her a kiss, before winking at Morgan, as if he was the smoothest mother fucker on planet earth. Which, if you asked him, he was. Smiling at Morgan's playfulness, he really felt like all of this, whatever it was, made sense. They matched each other's freak, both in and out of bed. There was no jealousy issues between the three of them and it just seemed like the shit was natural. So when Morgan started leading them upstairs, Puck enthusicastcally followed, his hands on Eva's waist as he followed her up. "I can't help what happens when Puckzilla comes out. You know that." As he reached the top with them, they continued into Morgan's room. "Plus it'll be good for your little students to know they ain't got a shot."
EVA Eva was sure that between the two of them, she teasingly rolled her eyes more times than she could count because of their antics. Not that she was complaining, but still. She had just rolled her eyes at Puck's words before he kissed her, which made her smile in response. "Both of you are cheesy as hell sometimes." She teased. "And Morgan, one or two hickies will be fine, but keep them small, and out of sight." She warned as they headed up. Puck referring to himself, or his dick, as Puckzilla shouldn't have been as amusing as it was, but Eva simply shook her head as she walked into the bedroom and wasted no time starting to strip out of her clothes. "I wouldn't sleep with my students anyways, but I'll be sure to let them know that I'm currently being fucked by two of the best men that I know, and none of them can have me. Does that work?"
MORGAN Leading his two lovers into his bedroom, Morgan unbuckled his belt around his waist, and smirked. He'd happily take what he could get, and when Eva said he was allowed one or two hickies he had a small party on the inside. To him, that was like reading a recipe that required one or two cloves of garlic. He always put double the amount in. Besides, he figured he'd get the chance to leave some marks on the inside of both Eva's and Puck's thighs. He continued to remove his t-shirt, throwing it onto the floor, and moved to help Puck off with his too, making sure not to push the crown off of his head. "I ain't worried about your students," Morgan started, his eyes turning dark with lust for the two people, as they got progressively more naked. "I know for a fact that they'd never be able to compare to us." Was he confident? Sure. Maybe a little too much. But he was also aware of how good Eva and Puck made him feel, and it only motivated him to be the best for them too. He sucked in a deep breath and unzipped his jeans, his eyes staying on theirs, switching every few seconds. His voice was low, almost like a growl, and he could already feel himself throbbing at the thought of what was to come with the two gorgeous people. "Now both of you, get on your damn knees and show me what your pretty mouths can do, before I fuck you senseless."

MORGAN WESTON
“Delta Dawn, what’s that flower you have on? Could it be a faded rose from days gone by?” The infamous Tanya Tucker song blared out through the speakers. The sober people in the room probably wished that it was actually the Tanya Tucker version that was being belted out, but alas, it was not. Instead, it was some drunk lady, with a bottle of Budweiser - king of beers, after all - in one hand, and a microphone in the other, misreading the words on the screen, from the karaoke software. Morgan laughed to himself. Of course Puck would be celebrating his birthday at a bar with karaoke. A variety of songs had made sure the party was going strong, and “Delta Dawn” was no exception.
People cheered for the drunk lady - they were probably also drunk - and Morgan took a swig of his own beer and looked around, spotting a seemingly happy birthday boy. Puck and him hadn’t seen much of each other since the day they slept together, but that didn’t mean that Morgan was upset, by any means. It just meant that there was more catching up to do. Heading towards him, the tall cowboy took several long strides, but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw a group of people instantly swarming him with birthday wishes. Morgan took another sip of his beer, and thought about what to do. He was in the middle of the room, and he looked pretty awkward, he figured. So instead, he tried to spot a way out of the situation. And there she was. He could spot her from a thousand miles away, he was sure of it. “Ms Anderson,” Morgan greeted her, in their silly little way, as he walked up to her, with a smirk on his bearded face. “Are ya here for Puck’s birthday too?”
EVA ANDERSON
Eva hated karaoke, even more so while she was sober and her vision was 100% clear as day. Maybe it stemmed from having a musically inclined family, but hearing people who were tone deaf attempting to belt out songs she probably didn’t know or hated was the worst kind of torture. She was only here for Puck, and that was the only thing that had guided her feet into this godforsaken place and right over to the bar. She’d even tipped the bartender a few extra bills to send a tray of shots over to Puck while she was being served bottomless Dirty Martinis — extra dirty in terms of less juice and more gin. As soon as he started putting them down in front of her, she was tossing them back before he could even start working on the next one.
The crowd around Puck wasn’t a surprise since he was so damn popular these days, and she didn’t mind having to busy herself with some other people she knew, or had exchanged a few posts with online before finally meeting in person. Everyone seemed to be keeping the convos light while they sipped on their own alcohol, so it was decent enough company until she felt the need to push her way through the crowd to get to the birthday boy. Luckily that issue was pushed aside when she saw Morgan coming her way, and she couldn’t have contained the glowing look on her face even if she’d wanted to (which she obviously didn’t). “Hi, Mr. Weston.” Eva beamed. God, she needed to unpack why she could turn into a bit of a puddle around only two attractive, tall ass men, but tonight wasn’t the night to analyze that shit. “I am, but I didn’t know you and Puck knew one another too.” She hummed. “I’m surprised to see you at a packed bar, but I’m also jealous that Puck is apparently special enough to make this happen.” She stated and frowned. “How do you two know each other?”
MORGAN WESTON
The way Eva looked tonight - ‘oh, to hell with it’, Morgan thought, 'the way Eva looked all the time’ was enough to turn even the worst of days into the best ones, for the tall man. And then, her reaction to him, the way she greeted him, the tone of her voice with that smile mixed in, had him weak in the knees and stumbling, as he tried to casually lean against the big bar. If she asked, he’d blame it on the alcohol, and the amount of beers he’d had tonight. Grinning back at her, he took the last sip of his beer, before putting the bottle on the bar, and signaling to the bartender to get him another one, as well as another of whatever Eva was drinking.
Morgan leaned in so he wouldn’t have to shout over the drunk karaoke lady, the height difference between them more apparent than ever when he did so. “We met at the mixer - like you and I,” He started the story, and maybe it was because he was a little tipsy, but he felt confident in himself. “We kinda hit it off right away. He came over once. Y'know…” The bartender came around with the drinks, and Morgan took another sip of his beer, turning to look at the guy everyone had come here for. “He’s a good-looking man, Puck is.” He turned back to look at the girl that kept enchanting him with her ways of just being. Morgan was hoping that she was good at reading in between the lines of what he was saying, so that he didn’t have to flat out say 'we fucked’, because what kind of southern gentleman would do that? “Eva, have ya ever heard the song 'Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other’?”
EVA ANDERSON
If there was always one thing Eva could depend on when it came to Morgan, it was probably his ability to always look at her and make her feel like she was the most beautiful woman in the world. She was in the top three for sure, that much she knew, yet that gleam in his eye certainly felt like she was in the number one spot. It also helped that she seemed to leave him just as flushed, which wasn’t a rare occurrence for her to get that response in return, it was just foreign for it to be mutual. She bit her lip as he leaned in closer, already spiraling from the close proximity. Had it not been for the cheers around the bar for that horrible performance on stage, she might have completely forgotten the real reason why she was here and made a move on the man right there at the bar.
She hadn’t been anticipating much for Morgan and Puck’s first meeting aside from some little meet cute where two tall, hot men probably made jokes about being the tallest in the room or some other masculine thing men do when they met other dudes, so her jaw was damn near on the floor as she followed along with where this story was going. Morgan didn’t even have to spell it out himself as the song did just that, and she nodded her head slowly. “The gay cowboy song.” She stated once her jaw was back intact. How her gaydar had missed this, she’d never know. “Wait — are you here to give Puck another round as a birthday present?” Eva questioned, and as soon as the words left her mouth, a light bulb went off in her head. “If you are, I was about to tell you that you’ll have to get in line behind me…but there’s three attractive bisexuals here, one birthday boy, and we’re giving him similar birthday presents, so…” Her words trailed off there as she smirked up at the cowboy, figuring he’d catch where she was going with this.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
Today had been a fucking awesome day and unlike most people, Puck actually liked karaoke. Yeah it was loud and most people couldn’t sing, but the vibes were always right and the energy was always good. It was fun and people were drunk and celebrating him, so as far as the now thirty-two year old was concerned, there was no better way to end his birthday. Originally he wasn’t going to drink too much, but people were being so generous and sending rounds of shots and it would be rude not to slam back at least one, maybe two. By the time he noticed Eva at the bar, he was being dragged up to the stage for a group number and he only agreed because it was a classic. Montell Jordan’s, This Is How We Do It. At some point, he noticed Eva wasn’t alone and he almost hopped off the stage when he realized who she was talking to, but whoever was next to him, grabbed his shirt to pull him back.
By the last thirty seconds, Puck was so distracted by how fucking hot Eva and Morgan looked, he wasn’t even anywhere near a mic and he was just clapping to the beat. When the song finally ended, the birthday boy made his way down to the two people he had been the most interested in seeing tonight. As he approached he saw an energy between them and was way too tipsy and warm to figure out what it was. Finding his way through the rest of the crowd, he smiled as he came to stand between the two. His attention on Eva first, “God damn, you look good.” Not that she didn’t always look good, leaning down, he put an arm around her waist as he gave her a kiss on the cheek and thanked her for coming. Turning to Morgan he pulled him in for a hug, his hand cupping his beard covered jaw as he pulled away. “I’m fucking honored you came man, I know it’s not your scene.” Letting his hand linger a little longer before backing up completely, he looked between them. “Were y'all talking about anything interesting?”
MORGAN WESTON
Morgan watched as the realization washed over Eva’s face, almost in slow-motion. The way her jaw dropped, it was like he could see when it sank in, and she understood what had happened between Puck and Morgan. It was almost amusing, and he couldn’t help but smirk a little bit - he was kind of proud of that conquest. What he just hadn’t realized, was that Eva had been there and done that too. It was almost as if Eva’s realization about Puck and Morgan was transferred to Morgan. The tape rewound, and instead of it washing over Eva’s face, it washed over Morgan’s.
“Are you- the two of you- together, you have-” Morgan stumbled over his words for a bit. 'God, that was so hot,’ he thought to himself, and bit down on his bottom lip. As Eva kept going, putting suggestions out on the table, Morgan nodded along slowly, as he understood and picked up what she was putting down. “I think I underst-” Before he could finish that sentence, he was interrupted by the man in focus today, Puck himself, and he watched as he greeted Eva, knowing - and picturing what had gone down between them, in his head. He greeted Puck back with a soft smile, and a gentle 'happy birthday’, before turning to look at Eva, the smile slowly turning into a wicked smirk. “Just 'bout your birthday present, man.” He said, his gaze shifting focus to read his face and his reactions. “We think you’re really gonna like it.”
EVA ANDERSON
Eva grinned at Morgan being tongue tied as he tried to understand what her deal with Puck was. Not that there was even a label for it yet. Maybe friends with benefits, though they hadn’t even gotten too deep into the friends thing yet. Same with her and Morgan sort of, so really, she was in a great place with them both for her little idea to spawn into something. And Puck sliding in between them only heightened her interest in this arrangement. Smirking at his compliment, she leaned into the kiss to her cheek. “Thanks, birthday boy.” She beamed. Wearing the short, tight-fitting dress had obviously been for Puck’s enjoyment and it had worked, but for both of her boys.
She let Morgan greet Puck as well before he answered the question, clearly on board with her little idea. It made perfect sense really, and with two out of three of them consenting, she didn’t think it would be hard to get Puck to do the same. “Considering how many shots I sent you, Puckerman, I’m sure your mind’s a little foggy so let me just spell it out for you: Mr. Weston and I were thinking that the three of us should take this party somewhere more…private. We can go back to your place if the kid is gone, but if not, my condo is like fifteen minutes away from here.” Eva shrugged.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
Standing there, mouth agape, Puck was going over Eva’s words in his head, thinking he must have misheard. There was no way she was suggesting what he thought she was suggesting. What apparently both Eva and Morgan were suggesting. It’s something he’d thought about, I mean, you would too if you had the pleasure of experiencing them both separately. They were also two of the hottest people he’d ever seen and standing between them like this, drunk and vulnerable, he felt safe. Looking at them both, Puck really shouldn’t have been so surprised. Why else would he have invited them both here knowing he’d want to go home with one equally as much as the other. What was the plan, if not this?
“She’s not home but fifteen minutes is closer.” Puck finally responded because he wasn’t about to question shit and give any of them time to reconsider. It was his 32nd birthday and something told him this was going to be the threesome of his dreams. Especially since it was now obvious that Eva and Morgan clearly had something. Even if he was just a bit of fun on their way to falling in love, he would take it. “I’m ready when you guys are.”
MORGAN WESTON
What the hell was happening? This was not something that the cowboy would’ve done back in Montana. He had sex, obviously, but it was never with two people at once. He was too quiet for that stuff! He didn’t know what it was; maybe it was the alcohol circulating his system, or maybe it was LA, having him come out of his shell? Or maybe, it was the fact that he had two insanely hot people, who were feeling the same attractiveness, and the same yearning to be with him, the way that he did for them. They both turned him on so much, in two different ways, and having the opportunity to now mash that together, and have them at the same time was blowing Morgan’s mind completely.
He motioned to the bartender that he’d pay for all three tabs, the moment that Puck’s words left some sort of confirmation to the group. And while the bartender was ringing it all up, Morgan whipped his phone out, leaving no time at all to do something that he’d only recently learnt how to do; order an uber to take them to Eva’s condo. He ordered, paid, and shifted to put his hand on Puck’s ass, moving in to whisper in his ear, “happy birthday, man,” his breath warm, and his eyes catching the same darkness in Eva’s eyes, as he knew he was feeling inside of himself. His phone vibrated in his hand, and his heart jumped once at the excitement getting closer. “Our ride is here, let’s go.”
EVA ANDERSON
The way Puck’s jaw dropped when the realization hit told Eva everything she needed to know about what his answer would be, as if he could have gone another route even if he’d wanted to. It wasn’t every day that this sort of offer was laid out on the table, and even she had yet to partake in this sort of threesome, which was quite the shock to her own system. Being the only female in a threesome had never been propositioned before but now that it was, she was desperate for them to make it happen. Once they received a verbal confirmation from Puck, she smirked in response. “Thank god.” She stated, exhaling a small breath she hadn’t even known she was holding. The quicker they got somewhere else, the better.
Morgan jumping right into action and taking care of literally everything was hot as hell, and truthfully, Eva didn’t know how she was expected to survive this night when both men were this fucking insatiable. Even just staring at them together was driving her wild, and it felt like it took much longer than it had before Morgan was announcing that their ride was here. “Fucking finally.” She groaned, grabbing both of their hands and damn near yanking them out of the bar. Luckily the car was waiting right out front, so she led them over and opened up the back door, climbing inside first. “Let’s go, boys!” She beamed before she made sure the driver had her address, needing them to get there as quickly as this damn car could possibly go.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
Everything was moving so fast, Puck’s drunk mind was processing even slower than usual. It however did register Morgan’s hand on his ass, which lowkey kinda hand him wanting to kick his feet and giggle. When Eva grabbed his hand to get in their uber, Puck managed to register that too. Nervous and excited, Puck wasn’t sure what the other two’s experience with threesome’s was but Puck has attempted several and only two have been, what he’d call, successful. Watching as Eva got in, he’d be lying if he said he hadn’t gotten slightly distracted by her in the tight ass dress, but he quickly came back to reality, and this was his reality somehow. Getting in next, he found himself holding Morgan’s hand to make sure he squeezed his tall ass in the back with them so he could keep a hand on each of them for the ride.
Putting a hand on Eva’s thigh, he looked at her and smiled as she gave the driver her address. Already he felt like tonight was going to be a good night. It didn’t feel forced or like he was just determined to make a fantasy come true. He’d also never been in this particular setup and had it go well, usually the other dude just wasn’t really up for the Devil’s Threesome, but he already knew that wouldn’t be an issue with Morgan. He also knew there was sexual chemistry between him and Morgan and him and Eva and if the looks those two have been sharing with each other are any indication, Eva and Morgan were no strangers to each other. With those thoughts in his head, he really needed the driver to move a hell of a lot faster.
MORGAN WESTON
Morgan chuckled to himself as Eva grabbed their hands, rushing out past the crowd that had only come for one of the boys that was now leaving. Morgan would’ve thought it all through, had he been sober, and maybe even felt a little bad about taking him away from his own party, but he was damn attracted to these two people, there was no way his drunk self was going to pass up the opportunity to have them both, in one night. As they reached the car, Morgan followed Puck’s gaze, his eyes landing on Eva’s ass as she got into the backseat, and it only encouraged his excitement to grow. She was so hot.
Maybe he blacked out or something, but all of a sudden, Morgan found himself in the back of the car, with the other two. A gentle hand was resting on Puck’s thigh, and he couldn’t help himself when he leaned in, planting his lips just under the man’s earlobe. He kept going down his neck, slowly and softly, as his hand trailed up the birthday boy’s thigh, getting dangerously close to his crotch. “You smell so good,” he murmured against Puck’s jaw, and was completely lost in time, having no clue where they were. But time felt like it had gone by so fast, because all of a sudden, the car stopped, and they’d arrived at Eva’s address. “Thanks Mr. Driver, have a good night!” Morgan said, and climbed out of the car. “C'mon y'all!” He almost ran up to the building, dragging the two others with him, as he grinned, the excitement of what was about to go down taking over every sense in his tall body.
EVA ANDERSON
With the anticipation clearly growing in all three of them, the drive to her place felt like it lasted much longer than it should have, yet in reality, it hadn’t at all. As soon as they arrived and Morgan hopped out and pushed them to do the same, Eva giggled as she pushed Puck out and then let the cowboy lead the way up to her door. She managed to swiftly unlock the front door and shoved it open as she practically ran inside. “Mi casa es su casa…or whatever.” She stated and giggled, kicking her heels off right in the doorway. She’d never had two men of their statures in her bed at the same time, but she was sure that the California king would fit all three of them and the positions they were about to get themselves into.
“I’d ask if either of you need anything to drink, but..we can worry about that kind of thirst later.” She hummed as she led them back to her bedroom. “Master bathroom is next door, in case one of you needs it now.” She hummed. Luckily her bedroom wasn’t a mess and her bed wasn’t covered in clothes she’d tossed out from her closet while trying to get ready for the bar, so they were essentially ready to get right down to business. And before either one of them could change their mind (not that she expected them to), Eva turned her back to her boys. “Will one of you unzip me?” She asked, and boy was she thankful that she’d chosen not to wear a bra or panties under this dress tonight since that would’ve just been fabric for the men to have to get her out of.
NOAH PUCKERMAN
As he felt Morgan’s hand on his thigh and his lips against his neck, Puck let his hand creep up Eva’s thigh and suddenly the car ride that was taking forever, ended and in the blink of an eye he was in Eva’s place, with her standing in front of them asking to be undressed. Like a light switch, Puck looked at Morgan before taking his hand and walking the few steps until they were just behind her. Figuring, as the birthday boy, he deserved the honor, Puck unzipped the dress, quickly noticing a lack of bra. Smiling, he turned Eva around, so she was facing the two men before Puck moved the straps so the dress could fall to the floor. God, she was perfect. A part of him felt like he should be working on getting himself or Morgan undressed too but all he could do was appreciate the true beauty in front of him.
MORGAN WESTON
A sober part of Morgan wished he could have tried this with Eva alone, before getting involved in a threesome with her. The way he knew what made Puck moan a little bit louder, or grab him a little tighter, or what would send him over the edge, he had no idea what he could do, to get the same reaction out of Eva. But Morgan wasn’t about to pass on this opportunity; he’d be a damn fool to! He got to have the most attractive people walking on this earth! So instead, his drunk senses would have to sober up, so he could feel his way through all of it, and be the best experience they’d both ever had, wanting to be even better than the last time with the birthday boy! Morgan watched as Puck started unzipping Eva’s dress, holding his breath for a second, but then remembering that the two men still had so much clothes on! So he moved in to unbutton Puck’s pants, while maintaining deep and focused eye contact with Eva’s body, as the dress fell to the ground and revealed the silky smooth skin behind it. He could hear the choir sing. She really was a goddess! “I’m done waiting.” Morgan announced, pulling his shirt over his head quickly, and grabbing both of their hands to pull them down onto the bed, chuckling as he did so.
Breathing heavily, the naked cowboy moved to lay on his back, a hand going up to rest behind his head. “Holy cow…” He managed to breathe out, closing his eyes for a second as he came to his senses. They’d been going at it, for who knows how long, and it had been one of the best orgasms he’d had in his life. There was a light glisten on his body from the sweat, and the moonlight’s rays shone in through the blinds, casting the only light on the throuple. He opened his eyes, moved to his side and sat up on his arm, smirking at the other two. “So…round two?”

MORGAN's heart was beating hard underneath the denim shirt as he stepped through the doors of the classroom. Before this, he'd had a quick peptalk with Jake about how to do this, and he'd asked him to wait outside, for Morgan to return. Taking his cowboy hat off, the tall man saw Eva in the other end of the classroom, and he cleared his throat softly, not wanting to scare her, but also wanting her attention. "Hey," he said, not being able to give her a wave, because of his other arm being in the sling, but desperately wanting to. "So, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for-" Morgan was quickly interrupted by a loud group of students, entering the classroom and sitting down at the tables.
EVA was in the process of preparing her material for her next class when she heard someone clearing their throat, and she was expecting to see one of her students when she glanced over, yet that wasn't what she saw. She hadn't been sure whether Morgan had actually injured himself or not so she was slightly relieved to see him in a sling now. It sucked that he was hurt, sure, but she was still pissed and wasn't about to fold just because of it. Luckily some students came in next, so she just shrugged at him. "Either leave or take a seat, Mr. Weston." She stated sternly.
BREE was looking at her phone on the way to the class where she was the lesson, willing zhake to text her back. Getting annoyed at the lack of communication from him, she put her phone back in her tote and when she looked up to turn the corner to the lecture room, she saw the last person she would have imagined to be standing outside of her class. "Jake?" She asked stopping in front of him. "Did you kniw I was in this class or- why are you here?"
JAKE didn't know why he was still standing out here as students were walking into the classroom, but Morgan hadn't come back out yet so he was assuming the man's groveling hadn't panned out yet. If he wanted to stay and beg her for her forgiveness in front of her students, that was his damn business, but he wasn't sure how long he was supposed to be waiting. And he would have complained if he hadn't spotted Bree as she said his name. "Shit." He muttered to himself as she approached him. "I didn't even know you had Professor Anderson's class at this time, so no. I'm here for...moral support, I guess? I gave Morgan tips on how to apologize to her, so I'm just waiting for him to finish so I can take his bike for a spin." He shrugged. "You should probably go on in.."
MORGAN looked slightly defeated as all the students came in, and even more so at Eva's harsh tone. He gulped hard and nodded, looking around and hoping Jake would be there in the crowd. He had the choice of leaving or staying, and he had to think fast; something he wasn't great at. "I- yeah, two seconds," he begged, quickly running through the crowd and up to the door. His cowboy hat found his head again, and he was slightly surprised to see Bree standing there too. "Hey, Bree," he quickly greeted her before grabbing a hold of Jake's arm. "Man, you gotta come in with me, we gotta- we need to sit down, come, please!" He urged, and dragged him into the room to find a seat. Somehow, the only row available was right at the front.
JAKE was about to let out a sigh of relief when he heard Morgan's voice, assuming he was just greeting Bree before they made their getaway, but that excitement was short lived the second his arm was grabbed. "Huh?" He blinked, sure that he was hearing this wrong. Why was he being dragged into this again? He didn't know, but he didn't have time to register any of it as he was being dragged into the classroom. "Morgan, what the hell?" He whispered, noting the only open seats at the front row. "Dude, this isn't even my drama. You're dragging the wrong Puckerman in here!"
MORGAN moved through the people who were finding their seats, in order to get to the front row. "Just do this for me, please?" Morgan begged in a whisper, turning to Jake briefly. "I'll give you my motorcycle if you do this for me." He reasoned, and moved to sit down, looking around at all the students who were getting out their notebooks and laptops, knowing he didn't have anything with him and must've looked out of place. He gulped hard, took the hat off again, and turned to face Eva, ready for the class to start.
JAKE didn't want to sit through a lecture that wasn't one of his own, and especially not when it was the professor his brother and Morgan were doing whatever the hell they were doing with, but the promise of the bike was good enough to change his mind. "Deal. And if you try to renege on this deal, I'm breaking your little love fest up." He warned as he went ahead and sat down right next to Morgan.
EVA was slightly surprised that Morgan had dragged the younger Puckerman into her classroom with him, but that explained the apology he'd been trying to give before he was interrupted. But with him in her class, she decided to pivot her lesson for the day. "Ms. Brown, come sit up here. We're gonna table my lecture about your brand for today." She stated as she grabbed her laptop and hooked it up to the projector, instantly pulling up Morgan's little thirst trap. "Since we have some guests in class, today's lesson will be on how not to market something." She stated before she smirked over at Morgan.
MORGAN reached into the pocket of his jeans and grabbed the keys to the bike and put them into Jake's hands; the deal was already done, Jake was staying and Morgan was one motorcycle down. His eyes stayed on Eva though, as he watched her move about, like the Goddess she was, and it wasn't until she looked over at him with her smirk that he realized what was going on, tearing his eyes away from her, and connecting with the projector and his post on the social media platform. His cheeks started burning, and he knew that he was turning bright red, and he closed his eyes in pure defeat as he sunk deeper and deeper into his seat. This was how Eva wanted to get revenge, and Morgan still didn't know what for, but he was sure he was about to find out!
BREE had to admit she was a little disappointed (read. a lot disappointed) that Jake wasn't there to make some kind of gesture to/for her. But that disappointment was replaced with confusion as he explained and then even more confusion when Morgan appeared and dragged her ex into the classroom. Since when did Jake know Morgan well enough to offer him moral support and moral support for what? Hearing Eva- Professor Anderson, call her to sit down and announce the lesson plan change, she walking to the front where she always sat and motioned for Jake to move down one. Something told her sitting between these two was for the best.
PUCK thought he could catch Eva before her class started, maybe make out, they could both cop a feel or two. Was he in duty? Yeah, but if something went down or he was needed his walkie and his earpiece would start getting real loud. The door to her room was open so he assumed he had good timing, but as he approached he saw her at the front and a whole bunch of students. Man, she looked so good up there, sexy as fuck how did anyone pay attention? Something caught his eye in the front row. Is that Jake? but Bree was next to him so maybe- is that Morgan? Yeah, nah, whatever the fuck was going on he did not need to be a part of it. Just as he was gonna dip he caught Eva's eye. Shit.
EVA knew this was probably some form of inappropriate given the throuple’s obvious situationship flaws, but it also wasn’t in her nature to care either. Her class was here to learn about proper communication techniques, and she worked much better with real life examples so this was fitting. Almost as fitting as when she happened to look towards her still open classroom door and spotted Puck — and she didn’t believe in coincidences so this had to be some sort of sign. “Stop right there, Mr. Puckerman — Noah. You’re already here, so please shut my door behind you and then come join the rest of the peanut gallery.” She stated as she motioned to the front row where the rest of her guests were.
JAKE’s eyes widened when he heard his brother’s name, and when he looked over at the door and saw Puck standing there, he was sure this was some sort of karma for the throuple. “Bree..” He whispered as he lightly tapped his ex’s leg. “You think Professor Anderson will get mad if I record this? I need to get this on camera so I can show Ali and Maya later.” He chuckled.
PUCK knew leaving now would just land him in even more trouble than he was already, apparently, in with the professor. So he accepted his fate, gave a "Yes, ma'am." Making his way to the front he sat on the other side of Morgan, leaning into him to speak lowly. "Dude, the fuck did you do and why am I in trouble for it too?"
BREE was pretty interested to see how all of this was going to shake out. Watchung the dynamic between the professor, the security guard and the cowboy, she now knew who Morgan's lovers were and my God was that an image. Turning to look at Jake as he spoke she couldn't see why not. "Given her vibe right now, she might want to see the video herself." Bree also thought having the ability to rewatch this lesson might benefit Jake's uncommunicative ass.
MORGAN couldn't imagine anything worse. Eva was pulling a whole lecture out of her ass, using Morgan as an example on how to not communicate, and everyone would know about it. At least mostly everyone. One person wouldn't get lectured, which was great for Morgan because he really didn't need to know- the cowboy turned his head, and saw Puck in the doorway, instantly groaning and sinking even further into his seat. He was pretty much almost on the floor as he side-eyed his lover making his way to sit down next to him. He didn't know what to answer, so instead, he just brought the cowboy hat up to hide the face that was as red as a ripe tomato in july.
PUCK kind of wanted to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. But even he could tell this was somehow a whole lot of serious wrapped up in a kinda funny package. Being mindful of the cowboy's shoulder, he pat his leg and leaned in again. "Hidin your face is gonna make it worse, man. You better look her in the eye for this."
MORGAN felt the pat on his leg from Puck and swallowed hard as he nodded. Of course the other man was right. It was better to just take it straight on the chin. So he slowly lowered the cowboy hat, sat up, and cleared his throat, telling himself that he would survive this, and he'd be fine - the fake confidence helped a lot, and he was ready to hear about what he'd done wrong, as he kept his eyes peeled on Eva
EVA rolled her eyes once Morgan gave her his undivided attention, and then she turned towards her actual class. "Okay class, who wants to tell me what's wrong with this post?" She asked, and as per her class rules, answers started being called out. "It's giving..thirsty." "Yeah, dude is basically asking for somebody to come over and have sex with him." "He would've been better off just asking who was DTF." "He said masseuse because he wanted a happy ending." "Dude probably wasn't even hurt." Her class validating her interpretation of the post would have stroked her ego if she wasn't still mad, so she just nodded as she walked over and stood in front of the man of the hour. "As you can all see, he is really injured — unless that sling is just for show. But by reading this post, not a single one of you genuinely believed it, and does anyone know why that is?" She asked, and she was surprised to see Jake sitting up in his seat.
JAKE shrugged as he gave Eva his attention. "The man didn't know his audience. As someone who kinda knows the dude, I don't think he meant for it to be a thirst trap, but he also didn't take into account that half of the people on social media see a dude that looks like him posting something like that and their minds go straight to the gutter." He pointed out before leaned up to look at Morgan, and then at Puck. "See how easy it was to pick up on the lesson? Maybe y'all do need to enroll and take this class." He joked.
MORGAN listened to all of the reasons that had Eva acting the way she had, and it finally clicked for him. Of course, it was the post itself and how, in a moment of pure weakness and desperation for help, he hadn't represented himself in the most modest way, and therefore probably not the most truthful way either. He bit the inside of his cheek, fully understanding everything. Even Jake understood before he did - and then continued to throw him under the bus. He leaned in over the table slightly, looking past Bree, eyes connecting with Jake's, and a whisper came out. "I want those keys back." He said sternly before leaning back again, and hesitantingly raising his good arm, so he could talk. "Like Jake said, I didn't mean for it to be a thirst trap - I didn't even think it could be, given how pathetic I was; I mean, what's sexy 'bout that?" Morgan started, turning to look at the students around him, to defend himself, before turning back around to face Eva. "That post was a legit question - the way that a dogwalker would ask where the nearest park is, or a surfer would ask where the best waves are at," His voice was soft and gentle, his eyebrows furrowing. "I genuinely had no idea it could be interpreted as me whoring myself out, but I get it now. It wasn't very thought-out." But why did it have Eva act that way though? He was tempted to ask that question in front of the class, but he figured it'd be better to have it be on a one-on-one basis with her.
BREE damn near rolled her eyes as Jake spoke because this is probably the most she'd heard his voice in a month and it annoyed her to no end that for this he could listen and communicate. But when he came to her suddenly he's on mute. Listening to him and Eva though, she realized she hadn't taken Morgan's post that way, but even she mentioned his two lovers being good options. So clearly, even subconsciously she had seen at least a little of what everyone else was see. She did pat his leg for comfort while he was being eviscerated by the class, the professor and Jake, of all people. She felt bad for him, being in the spotlight wasn't all that fun and she knew that.
PUCK listened as everyone piled on to the man next to him. It was actually kinda funny, like it shouldn't be but he did sputter out a laigh at one point. Look he tried to hold it back but the situation was fucking insane. As Morgan defended himself, he knew that was usually not the way to go, but he did manage to understand Eva's perspctive in the end, but like the man was actually injured. Eva knew that, and even if she didn't why was she so damn mad? I mean, she wasn't wearing those heels and that dress for them the other night, so why's she still so pissed. Raising his hand, he spoke. "What does it matter though? Like why're you mad at it? You his girlfriend. 'Cause if dude is single then isn't he allowed to be thirsty on main?"
EVA should have expected Morgan to defend himself and be just as fucking genuine and dumb as she knew him to be. If there was one thing she could always count on when it came to both him and Puck, it was that they were so fucking dumb when it came to certain things, and she usually liked it. But with this incident? Not so much. But she had to admit that she could believe him now that he'd explained himself, and maybe she should have just asked him from the jump instead of chewing him out. It was too late for that now though, and then before she could add on to what Jake had said, the other Puckerman decided to chime in — and just like that, Eva was seeing red again. Luckily that damn kid who had flirted with her the first day of class decided to interrupt before she could snap at Puck. "If Professor Anderson was his girl, he'd be a damn fool to be horny for anyone else. And you're coming at her a little too hard so pipe down, Paul Blart." He chuckled, and Eva had to bite back a smirk at that. "Okay, okay...the point here is that the message in this post was lost and came off as if he were selling himself. And in this class, the first thing my students are learning is the important of effective communication — a lesson even some of today's guests need to learn." She sassed with an eye roll. "And on that note, we're gonna end class early today. Everyone except for the idiots on the first row can go." Eva decided.
JAKE raised a brow as the students started to get up and head out, glancing down the row at the idiots. "So, she means her unofficial boyfriends, right? Not me?" He asked before he glanced at Bree. "She wasn't talking about you either, I don't think, so we should head out, just to be safe. 'Cause I don't wanna be here for...whatever she's gonna do to them."
BREE scoffed, "I thought you wanted to get it all on camera, don't back out now, Little Puck." Okay she had an attitude because she realized this asshole has managed to communicate enough to form a whole friendship with Morgan. Sit there through, whatever point Eva was trying to prove, just to be moral support to Morgan and yes, it pissed her off that she didn't think he would do the same for her. Hell, he hadn't even cared that she went out in public with him. Something that apparently matter so much to him before. The man had moved on from her and she was allowed to have attitude about it.
PUCK didn't have time for this. Whatever this was, it was between Morgan and Eva and had exactly zero to do with him. Not to mention he was on the clock, so despite Eva's words he stood up, flipping off the kid that called him Paul Blart, that Eva let call him that and when pretty much everyone had filed out, he looked at the others and Eva. "Yeah, I'm good. Whatever this shit is, ain't got nothing to do with me. As mall cop as I might be, it is my job and I actually need it. So have fun with.... all of this." Looking over at his brother and Bree, he spoke to them. "I'd leave if I were you, they're definitely the type to fuck it out. Unless y'all are into that, they might not mind an audience." He made to leave.
EVA rolled her eyes at Puck being dramatic, as per usual. He was on the clock anyways but it wasn’t about him, so she didn’t even know why the fuck he had so much to say in Morgan’s defense right now, but she also didn’t care. Once most of the students had cleared out, she shrugged. “Nobody is fucking anything out. I don’t even know what your issue is, Noah, but—” She paused as Jake waved his hands at her.
JAKE was already seeing how left this was about to go and he didn’t need to hear anything about fucking. “Dude, all of y’all need to chill out.” He groaned. “Bro, you’re not a mall cop, and you’re coming at Eva like she did something to you too so clearly all three of y’all need to talk. And this thing y’all are doing is messy like this anyways, and those are Maya’s words too.”
PUCK couldn't believe Jake was actually setting himself up like that. "First of all, I'm not coming at anybody. There's a lot of tension between them. Always has been. This whole thing is just her refusing to admit she has actual feelings for Morgan and is mad he might be looking somewhere else when she's right there. I don't know what they've got going on with each other but it seems like it's more serious. Plus I got it on good authority they'd like to defile that desk." Puck laughed though, as he buttoned his suit jack back up. "But you trying to tell people to be less messy in their relationship is fucking hilarious. Maybe you should take your own advice. When's the last time you talked to Bree about how you feel? Or are you still playing that game where she has to bring it up first and say all the right things, probably grovel and beg before you consider acknowledging her again?" The one fucking day his walkie isn't going the fuck off.
JAKE wasn’t even sure why Puck was coming at him now, but clearly he was in a fucking mood for some reason and she didn’t get it. Nor did he get why Puck was calling him out about his shit with Bree. “We just went shopping together to spend Gabe’s money, so mind your business.” He whined. “And last I checked, I did tell her how I felt. She knows I love her, but do Eva and Morgan know how you actually feel about them? Outside of the sex?” He countered. “And regardless, all of this was about Morgan. Not you, him. But that comment about whatever is going on with them being more serious makes it sound like you’re the odd man out of this threesome shit, so you should be focused on figuring that out, bro.”
MORGAN appreciated little sign of support from Bree, but he also understood why Eva was upset, and why everyone was coming at him, the way they were. He'd sold himself in a way that wasn't fair to the people he'd been seeing; even though he'd finally realized they weren't completely exclusive, as he originally thought they were. He was about to speak up, when Puck jumped in with questions that even Morgan knew wasn't the appropriate time to ask. And then Eva replied back, dismissing the class. And then Jake jumped in. And then it became this thing between the two Puckermans for no reason. "Okay, okay, okay!" Morgan finally said, slightly raising his voice - he didn't even know he had that in him! "I think it's safe to say that we've all got a lot of stuff goin' on, and I don't think we need to be pointin' our fingers at each other, because it clearly doesn't help anything." He said, calmly but confidently. "Jake, thanks for bringing me here, feel free to go to my place, and take a motorcycle home with you." He started, dismissing the Puckerman brother before turning to the next person. "Bree, it was wonderful to see you, as always. Let me know when you're free to catch up again." He smiled at her, before turning to look at both Eva and Puck. "Let's have this talk then, the three of us."
BREE was just soaking in everything that was going on, fully intending to just sit there and watch what happened between the throuple. But Jake could leave, go communicate with whatever new bitch he was entertaining now, but also fuck him if Puck was right and he was just waiting for Bree to do and say the right things first. Why would she initiate a conversations when every time she tries he melodramatically ends the conversation. As Jake responded to his brother, Bree was just... confused. "Is that your way of saying you still love me? Because as far as I know, you did but now you don't. So maybe instead of making these grand statements to your brother you should just talk to me." Now Bree was rolling her eyes.
PUCK had never heard Morgan raise his voice before. It was pretty damn commanding, even with the sling. At the mention of Jake getting a one of Morgan's motorcycle's, Puck whipped his phone out to text his daughter, because she was absolutely not getting on the back of one of those things. By the time he sent that Morgan was looking at him and Eva insisting they all talk about whatever, except why did Puck need to be there? "Your shit with her and her shit with you is between you two. What am I suppose to do? Sit here and nod along while y'all hash it out? I've got work." Technically his shift ended in three minutes but that wasn't the fucking point.
MORGAN was starting to get annoyed, feeling like no one was listening to him or taking him seriously, and he hated it. It was just like his dad, who only liked the sound of his own voice, and never gave Morgan any time or place to say anything. "No, my shit with her is also my shit with you, Puck," Morgan said sternly, connecting his eyes with the other man to bring the point across. "This started out as just sex between the three of us, and we agreed to keep doing that, both as a threesome but also with each other, and I don't know what happened - and I don't know if it's just me - but I'm startin' to feel like there's more than just sex involved here, and we gotta start addressin' that! We can't ignore it, especially when it turns into whatever the hell this was." Morgan clenched his jaw, wanting to show everyone here that he'd learned Eva's lesson about communication.
JAKE should have expected Bree to have an opinion on what both he and Puck had said, but considering that it wasn't the most pressing matter right now, he wasn't sure why it was on the table. Nor did he feel like dealing with it today. "I have a bike to pick up and a project to go work on, so I don't have time for this today. You three have fun working your shit out, and I'll...talk to you later, Bree." He shrugged before quickly making his exit before someone tried to stop him.
EVA definitely didn't feel like doing the whole more than sex talk now (or ever), and she didn't have any other classes for the day so she didn't have a real excuse for getting out of this, but she was sure as hell about to find one. She watched Jake leave before she turned to Bree. "I'll send you some stuff to look over before our next class." She promised before she shuffled over to her desk to start gathering up her belongings. "And as for you two, I don't think we have anything else to talk about, so you can both find your way out as well."
BREE just nodded atEva's words before gathering her stuff and leaving. Mouthing a 'good luck' to Morgan. Truly and honestly, she couldn't fucking stand Jake. He really just fucking left her there, didn't give her a chance to say anything and didn't answer her question. Just basically waved her off with his disingenuous, we'll talk later. All she's tried todo for weeks is talk to him and he's made it clear time after time he's just not going to do it. So fine. They won't talk. Saves her the effort of apologizing and the embarrassment of telling him she loves him for him to just wave that off too. With that, she left.
PUCK could not believe how fucking dumb all of this this actually was. Like the fuck was this? High school? Was this the first time they were all feeling some kind of way. He was fucking tired and annoyed and just over all this shit. Could he leave? Yeah, but not before he said his fucking peace. "Hoy fuck, this is dumb." It felt pretty good to say that out loud. "Eva clearly has real feelings for you, can't figure out why she'd go through all of this shit and then still act like a 13 year old about it, but here we fucking are and Morgan obviously has actual feelings for you right back or he wouldn't have given a flying fuck that you were obviously fucking pissed at him." He said looking between the two. "And I'm just over here having feelings for the both of you like the absolute fucking moron I am. I'm sick and tired of watching you two dance around your feelings. Jusy fucking be together." He was definitely louder than he meant to be but the whole situation was exhausting and he didn't wanna sit here and deal with the shit anymore.
MORGAN felt completely defeated hearing Eva's dismissal of the two men. "Y'know, for someone teachin' 'bout communication, you sure do avoid it a lot," Morgan remarked confidently, growing tired of this game that they were playing. And it didn't help when Puck then started chiming in. The tall cowboy grew more and more offended, hearing that their conversation from the other day and everything he'd told him had been for deaf ears. Taking a moment to think through his next move, Morgan gently picked up his cowboy hat and put it on his head, exiting the row he'd been standing behind. "I don't think we're gonna make any progress 'ere," he said very calmly and nodded to himself affirmingly. "You won't talk," he said to Eva. "And you won't listen," he continued to Puck. "We're just gonna be goin' 'round and 'round, and you both seem too busy to be doin' that these days, so maybe we oughta just quit it while we're ahead of the game, huh?"
EVA didn’t know how all of this was spiraling the way that it was, but she was beyond prepared to just walk out and forget about this drama until Puck spoke up. She didn’t get why he kept leaving himself out of this equation, but when he confessed how he felt about them, her jaw dropped as she just stared at him. Everything Morgan said went out the window, so to speak, as she tried to process that bomb dropping. “Wait, whoa, let’s run that back.” She finally spoke up. “Puck…did you just say that you have feelings for both of us? Like did I just hear that correctly?”
PUCK had barely registered his own confession and had already accepted heartbreak given Morgan's words. For whatever reason he thought Eva wouldn't acknowledge anything he said. Didn't really think she'd acknowledge anything either of the men said. Just figured she'd laugh at them or something and leave, never to speak to either of them again. So imagine his shock when not only was she not leaving but she was asking him to clarify. While he really didn't want to, he figured it was out there now, ain't no point it getting shy about it now. Plus, the adrenaline was helping him power through. "Yes, Eva, I have legit, romantic, wanna be with you, kind of feelings for you and Morgan. I don't want either one if ya fucking anyone that isn't each other or me. I don't want you going on fucking dates with anyone other than each other or me. Like shit man, I wouldn't have asked you to go with me to bail my dad out if I didn't wanna be with you." He said looking at Eva before turning to look at Morgan. "Friday wouldn't have happened if I didn't wanna be with you." He wanted no confusion, no room for interpretation, because that's all there's been between the three since they started this shit. "There. Communication 101, be fucking honest."
MORGAN was ready to leave, catching a cab home to the ranch, not wanting to spend any more time not communicating. He'd expected Eva to just blow everything Puck said off, the way that Morgan had, because Puck had sounded so delusional about him being the third-wheel, he'd overlooked what Eva managed to pick up on. And then came the explanation from Puck. 'Legit romantic, wanna be with you, kind of feelings'. He didn't know what to say, he was speechless, as he took a step back, sitting on one of the desks at the front row in the empty classroom. Where was he supposed to start? What was he supposed to do? "I don't want anyone touching you, but Eva and me." He finally said to Puck, even though he'd already made that point once in a text to him. "I don't want anyone touchin' Eva, but Puck and me."
EVA's eyes widened when Puck clarified that she had in fact heard him correctly, and he didn't even hesitate to expand on it now. Honestly, she wanted nothing more than to just run out of her classroom since this was all a little too real for her, but it was too late now so instead she just put her bag down and sat on top of her desk. Puck's mention of dates and fucking other people made her question just what had been happening that she didn't know about, but she didn't even have time to focus on that before it was Morgan's turn to speak up, and that was yet another shake up for her. "Fuck." She groaned as she ran a hand through her hair. Opening up about her feelings wasn't easy for her, so Eva decided to do what she did best and deflect. "Hold on — have you two been going on dates with other people? And fucking them?" She questioned.
MORGAN didn't exactly know what to expect from Eva and her reaction to the two men admitting these things to her. Looking over at Puck briefly to try and read his emotions too, he knew that they probably could've done this in a more gentle way, but there was no turning back now. When she finally did talk up again, it wasn't about feelings or anything like that, and Morgan's eyebrows shot up, completely taken aback by the direction she was going, and the fact that she was as shocked as she was - had she not been seeing other people? Clearing his throat, he hesitated to answer, before finally choosing to do so. "Um, well, you see, Puck said he was chill with us datin' other people, so I figured that meant that y'all were also doin' that, and I was the last person not to. I didn't wanna look stupid. But I literally only went on one date. No funny business." He quickly defended himself, but figuring it would never be enough.
PUCK wasn't surprised that Eva changed the topic. Everyone knows deflection 101 and a communications professors would know more than anyone how and when to do it, and yet this was kinda obvious and sloppy. Puck wasn't sure what that ment, either she didn't feel the same or she did and was ironically unwilling to say so. Then Morgan had to go say some shit that wasn't even true, so he was gonna have to clear that up first and admit to what happened between him and Kurt which he knew was gonna derail the whole fucking thing and make him the villain in this shit... again. "That's not what I said, man. I said I was trying to be chill with the fact that y'all could date other folk if you wanted to. Don't make your date with Serena about some shit I said, because if anything, I said I didn't want that." Unfortunately that couldn't be the end of that shit, he still had to answer Eva's question. "I went out with someone a few days ago, got my dick sucked, we were gonna do more but I couldn't, didn't feel right."
EVA was deflecting, yes, but that didn’t change the fact that she was learning shit she apparently hadn’t been privy to before now that they were having this talk. She took in what Morgan said first, and then Puck’s attempt at defending himself before admitting what he’d done too, and then she found herself chewing on the inside of her cheek as she processed it all. She was slightly pissed off, or maybe more so annoyed, and she was sure nothing she had to say to them now was gonna be nice. “So let me get this straight: you two had a talk about whatever the fuck the expectations were for whatever this is, didn’t include me, and then you both went out with other people? And this was either before or after you both ghosted me for days and then showed up to give me a sex apology?“ She questioned with a roll of her eyes. “This is exactly why I don’t do feelings and relationships. Now I’m the only idiot who wasn’t fucking around with anyone else, so fuck both of you.” She huffed as she pushed herself up from her desk. “You can have each other, or whoever else you’ve been dating.”
MORGAN had apparently completely misunderstood everything, and that had probably been where it all started. Biting his lip, he knew he'd fucked up. But if Puck had feelings for them, why would he try to be cool with it, if they did want to date other people? It was all so complicated, and if Morgan's head didn't hurt before, it hurt now. And then Puck admitted to having been intimate with someone, and it wasn't just Morgan's head that hurt. It was also his heart. It was like someone had punched him right in the gut, and then kicked him in the legs to make him fall over. "You- huh. Didn't feel right." Morgan clenched his jaw, feeling the anger brewing. He was so disappointed. And then, in typical Eva fashion, she said everything that was just hitting the nail on the head. But then something within Morgan snapped. He wasn't sure what, but he knew he needed answers. He turned to Eva. "So you're tellin' me this little lecture was "just" you teaching your students, and not you being upset that I'd presented myself as a thirst trap to other people that weren't you and Puck, and gettin' back at me for it? You're tellin' me that you giving up like this - 'bout to walk out of this damn classroom, not going forward with us - ain't because you've got some sort of feelings lingering?" Morgan shook his head - it hurt, and he didn't want to do this anymore. "I'm gonna go home now." He finally decided, and walked out, leaving Puck and Eva behind.

date & time: October 30, 2024 at night
location: Bree's fancy ass apartment
warnings: mentions of alcohol
summary: And here we go again. Another clusterfuck for Jake's video roll on his phone. Santana, Bree and Jake all worked together to get the Throuple in one place to finally talk their shit out. Except some truths are revealed and now things might be worse than ever. Communication is hard.
word count: 5,808
MORGAN hadn’t known it was Jake’s birthday until mid-afternoon, when a text had come through on his phone, while he was elbow-deep in horse grooming, inviting him over for drinks at Bree’s place. Seven hours later, Morgan stood outside the apartment, clutching a gift-wrapped box. When he’d found out about Jake’s birthday, he felt a small pang of guilt - he probably should’ve known. Jake was dating Bree, and Bree had become like a sister to him; and not to forget about the fact that Jake was actually Puck’s half-brother. Not that that mattered right now, even if Morgan tried his best to make it matter. So, Morgan had scrambled to the nearest bike shop and picked out a pair of leather gloves - good ones, sturdy but soft, the kind that felt broken in the moment they were slipped on. The gloves weren’t anything grand, but they’d pair nicely with the motorcycle Morgan had gifted Jake not too long ago. When the door opened, Morgan smiled softly. “I couldn’t show up empty-handed, could I?” He said, first thing and held up the present.
JAKE was still wrapping his mind around practically cutting his mom off for the time being, but with his birthday finally here, he could finally put all of that behind him. Him and Bree still needed to deal with their own mess but for the sake of his brother's current situation, he'd happily agreed to his girl's plan to get the throuple together, and then Santana had jumped on board as well. Getting Puck to Bree's place for what he thought was a chill dinner was simple, and the same had happened with Morgan. He let Bree handle getting Eva there, and once the show was set to start, Santana had made up a reason to get Puck out of the living room area once someone knocked on the door. Once the coast was clear, Jake walked over and opened up the door, and he was surprised to see him with a gift. "Dude, you already gave me your bike, that was present enough." He smiled as he stepped aside after taking the gift bag from the man. "Come on in. Dinner is just about to start, but that's Bree's forte." He pointed out before glancing around behind him to look for his girlfriend. "Bree?"
BREE was fully aware this was probably a terrible idea. However, Eva was her favorite woman, pretty much ever, Morgan was a friend and Puck was basically her brother-in-law. An it did not sit right with her that these two men weren't being as forthcoming with Eva as they needed to be, as she deserved and apparently it was worth pissing her Professor, PR team manager, and friend(?) off to give them an opportunity to say what needed to be said. As she made sure the catered meal was warm and ready to eat, she heard her name being called. Coming into view of Jake and Morgan, she smiled at her boyfriend, while scanning the area, glad to see it looked like Santana had moved her and Puck somewhere else. "Yes, hi, come in." She smiled, and all but pushed Morgan to the kitchen.
PUCK unwillingly followed Santana into another room. Looked like a spare bedroom and he was realizing that Bree was like, rich rich. Which he knew, but he'd never really seen. Not like he would recognize luxury brand clothing or whatever. Looking a the mother of his child he furrowed his eyebrows. "Now why exactly did you want me alone in a bedroom? You know we don't have to have sex if you wanna have another one of my kids." He smiled at his own joke.
SANTANA rolled her eyes at Puck's words. "First of all, don't insult me. I threatened, and then bribed, the hospital so as soon as I pushed Maya out, my tubes were tied. That was the first and only baby that will ever come outta this body." She pointed out. "But I wanted you alone to remind you that I care about you, and I owe you the world for everything you've done for Maya, so just keep that in mind when you find out what your brother, your future sister in law, and I set up." That should have been enough of a hint as to what was coming, but it was also Puck so she wasn't sure if he'd catch onto that.
JAKE had to bite back a chuckle as Morgan was pushed into the kitchen by Bree, but then he followed anyways. "We should probalby start eating, and get out some drinks — the good stuff — right now." He suggested, since he wasn't sure if Puck would end up hearing Morgan's voice and come out of the bedroom yet.
MORGAN shrugged and gave a small smile. "That bike was given to you as a 'thank you' for that time on campus," he started, but continuing almost made him wince at the memory and the pain it had left behind. He stepped into the room, and let the topic go, instead greeting Bree with a warm smile and a small wave. He hadn't seen her since the morning after their drunken night that he didn't remember a thing of, and in a weird way, it felt kind of comforting to be her and Jake's third wheel in this situation. "D'ya need a hand or anythin'?" He asked, slightly confused about being pushed into the kitchen, but figured it was because he probably had to help out. "The good stuff? What good stuff, man? Y'know, I'm drivin' tonight, so I can't go as crazy as Bree and I did a few days ago."
JAKE decided not to comment on the reason why he'd gotten the bike, since he was sure that the classroom fiasco contributed to why the throuple was in the position they were in now, and instead just focused on the fact that he wanted to get some food before the show started. "Don't worry, we've got it." He suggested, and they did mostly, since Santana had practically laid out the fine china dinnerware, the utensils, the cups, etc. The Latina had been rather dedicated to helping Bree get everything laid out just in case this shit went downhill fast. Jake was piling food onto a plate for himself when he heard a knock at the door, and knowing it could only be one person, he put the plate down in front of Morgan. "Babe, pour the wine." He called out as he jogged over and opened up the door for Eva.
EVA had been expecting this to just be a chill night in with Bree, so she was dressed down and completely unprepared when it was little Puckerman opening the door instead. "Why are you here?" She asked before just walking past Jake, and the aroma of food coming from the kitchen led her straight in that direction until she spotted Morgan. "Bree Bianca Brown, what the fuck is this?" She huffed, already annoyed at this little ambush.
BREE really wasn't listening to anything anyone was saying. Instead, she was attuned to that front door and waiting for that fateful knock. Sooner than she was ready there it was. Popping open a bottle of good winne she poured herself a glass and chugged it. Hearing her full government named, she looked at Morgan, "If you'll excuse me." Then she went to the front door. met with a very unamused Eva. "Before you get mad, just remember I'm on your side."
PUCK wasn't surprised Santana managed to get her tubes tied so early in life. A bad ass through and through and he was glad that their daughter seemed to inheriet so much from her. Even if it did cause some challenges from time to time."Yeah, okay, not sure what that's got to do with Jake's birthday dinner. I mean, I already knew y'all set that up." Before he ould even have another thought, he heard a voice ring out through this big ass apartment and he'd know that voice anywhere. Without even looking back at Santana he just left the room and followed where the voice came from until he was face to face with Eva. Looking at his brother, he was starting to put the pieces together. "The fuck is going on?"
MORGAN watched as Jake started scooping food onto the plate, and he was about to speak up when there was a knock on the door. Morgan was pretty sure he'd been the only one invited tonight, for whatever reason, but maybe a family member was coming over? Or a close friend? Either way, Morgan quietly grabbed the plate as Jake exited the room, and just continued to scoop the food up, figuring that Jake wouldn't mind. It wasn't until he heard that familiar voice that he looked up, seeing Eva on the opposite of the kitchen island. "I-" he wasn't allowed to finish his sentence when the door opened again and Puck was stood right there, next to Eva. "This- I'm-...I was invited!" He quickly tried to reason, wanting them to know he hadn't planned for this. Sure, he was trying to win them back, but this wasn't on his list of ways.
EVA could only roll her eyes as Puck walked out next, and then she didn't even need Morgan to defend himself because she could already tell that Bree and Jake had set this up. Or at least she had assumed it was just them until she spotted Santana walking down the hall next, and now it really made sense. "Just so we're all clear, the last little ambush didn't go so well, so why are we doing this again?"
SANTANA didn't really get the confusion on the throuple's faces, or their lack of appreciation for the hard work that had gone into tricking all three of them like this, but she wasn't gonna stand for it either. "It's too late to yell this out, but surprise! Yes, all three of you were unaware that this was happening and yes, the three of us did set this up because we care about all of you. If any of you wanna fight about it, I'm down, but I'd advise you not to." She sassed with a grin. "Now, sit your asses down and talk." Was she demanding it? Yes. The only one who might fight her back on it was Eva, that much she knew, so she didn't even say anything else as she walked over and grabbed her hand, shoving her over on the couch. "Jake, you're guarding the door. Bree, get the wine. Puck and Morgan, both of you fucked up, again, so it's only fair that one of you start."
JAKE didn't know why Santana was always bossing everyone around, but he wasn't stupid enough to disobey a direct order from her either so he grabbed a chair from the dining room and placed it in front of the door. "Since it is my birthday, can someone get me a plate before the show starts?" He teased, sitting down in the chair and taking his phone out to record this, since he knew it would come in handy later.
BREE was glad that Santana was there, because even Bree can admit, Eva would have walked out, maybe Puck and Morgan too and all of this would have been for nothing. So she did as she was told and went to get the wine. Very good wine, that she knew for a fact was Eva's favorite. So she looked at Jake before she went to go get wine glasses and fill up two decanters.
PUCK kind of wanted to just leave, but it was his brother's birthday and Santana wasn't to be fucked with. So he sat down, not next to Eva and watched as Bree came in with the glasses and wine and he found himself struggling to look at Morgan right now. All of this didn't even feel real and he needed a minute for his brain to boot back up. "Can I get water or something?" He asked Bree, he was trying not to drink anymore. It was one of the many things he was obtaining from for the time being.
MORGAN was as confused as he always was - except maybe just slightly more than usual. The last time this had happened, it had not gone down well, and Morgan knew better than to try and talk to Puck and Eva, while there were other people there. But Santana was intimidating and he didn't know what she'd do if he just jumped out of the kitchen window, so he just slowly followed the group into the living room with the plate of food in hand. He decided to place his tall body in the doorway between the living room and dining room, so he could watch everything unfold from there. Puck refusing alcohol was an incredibly welcomed sight, and it warmed his heart, his eyes softening as he stared a little bit too long at him. But then he snapped out of it and he figured it'd be best to maybe speak up, since he was the one who'd last done everyone wrong anyway. "So- err...you both look good." He said, eyes darting between Eva and Puck.
SANTANA wasn't gonna let Bree serve everybody herself, since she probably was the most foreign to such out of the women in the room, so she got up and grabbed a plate of food for Jake. It was the least they could do since they had jacked whatever birthday plans he could have had with Bree. And busying herself was the only way to keep her from not slapping both Morgan and Puck in the back of their heads for being idiots, so she didn't even mind it this one time. But as soon as Morgan finally opened up his mouth to greet them, that urge increased. "Well, that's not how I'd greet people I claim to love after I royally fuck some shit up, but sure, Weston. Nice opening." She stated sarcastically, handing Jake his plate and a glass of wine before she went back for her own.
EVA could have left now, and she wasn't afraid of Santana so she'd fight her way out of here if she had to, but this was the first time she'd seen Puck since finding out what he'd done in lockdown. While dumbass #1 had tried to love bomb her since she'd last seen him, dumbass #2 hadn't so much as said a single word to her since she'd cried in his arms, and that horrifying moment alone called for some ounce of accountability on his part. "I always look good." She tossed at Morgan without even looking his way as her eyes were trained on Puck...for now. "Since we're clearly not getting out of this, let's skip the bullshit. Noah, what did you do during lockdown? Better yet, who did you do, and before you think about lying, he already ratted you out so your best bet is to just be honest."
PUCK could feel Eva's eyes on him and he was rebooted enough to know that he better look back. Probably the least he could do since he hadn't reached out to her since she cried on his shoulder. Which he now understands was also a dick move. And selfish and definitely not the actions of a man who loves her, so when she started asking about lockdown, it wasn't until she mentioned him telling her that he even realized she already knew. Fucking, Morgan. Couldn't even give Puck the ability to tell Eva himself. He decided to talk to Eva first and then deal with Morgan after. Look at that, him thinking, what an improvement. Thankfully, Bree came back with a water and he thanked her before chugging half the bottle. "On day four of the lockdown I got shit faced, had sex with some chick, kept drinking, then punched a wall. That's how I hurt my hand. I should have told you myself. Even if I didn't tell you that day we talked. I should have reached out and I should have told you the truth, instead of making excuses to justify not talking to you yet. I'm sorry for what I did during lockdown. I'm sorry for not telling you about it myself. I'm sorry for not reaching out and for ghosting you again." Now, Puck wanted to immediately throw Morgan under the bus but he wanted to Give him the opportunity he robbed Puck of to tell Eva himself and he wanted to get Eva the space to process what he said and say whatever she needed to say in return. He wasn't perfect and he knew he had a lot to answer for but he was trying.
MORGAN watched Santana, eyes squinting a little at her comment and he was about to speak up when Eva decided to go straight for Puck's throat, calling out his lack of communication. Morgan didn't even know about that part. To a certain degree, he was happy he'd told Eva, even if it wasn't his place to do so. He didn't know if Puck had planned on talking to her about it or not, but there was constantly that nagging in the back of his head, bringin him back into the classroom to be taught about Communications 101, and surely, telling Eva these things was a part of the curriculum, right? On the other hand, he could see how wrong it was too. This was Puck's story to tell, and so once the other man stopped, Morgan gave Jake his plate, leaving the man with two plates full of food now, and he stepped forward. "I'm sorry, too. Everything that I said those days; things came out so wrong. But I thought y'all deserved that kind of communication from me, y'know?"
EVA wasn't surprised that Puck had the sense to just come clean now, and she appreciated his little apology but it was too late for that too. She'd already told him once before about the ghosting, which he had a habit of doing whenever he'd fucked something up, and that should have been the first red flag that caused her to be done with this. Yet she'd ignored that one, and some others, so here they were. She didn't even need to process it since Morgan had given her the rundown of the important shit anyways, so she was about to brush off the apology until Morgan stepped towards them and uttered one of his own. That earned him an eye roll. "I'm pretty sure nothing came out wrong, Morgan." Everything he said had been crystal clear, in her opinion, so she didn't know why he was inserting himself into this right now. Turning her attention back to Puck, she shrugged. "I get how shitty your dad was, and how everything he's said and done has probably fucked you up, but that can't constantly be your excuse for why you make shitty decisions. Morgan and I both agreed on that when he told me what you did, and honestly, fuck you for letting me cry and be vulnerable and not having the balls to just be honest. That's a dick move." She huffed.
PUCK simply nodded at her words. Even though they stung, he had also been prepared to have his apology not accepted or have it be too little too late. While he was working on a larger apology to give her, his therapist and support group members had all made it clear that sometimes things are too far gone, but that doesn't mean you don't apologize. Because the apology isn't to fix it or get what you want. You apologize because you did something wrong, period. "Yes it is. I recently learned that even if you can explain it that will never excuse shitty behavior." Now that he'd said that, he could focus on Morgan and his lack of confession. Maybe he'd already told Eva, but something told him he hadn't. I mean would he have bothered telling Puck if he hadn't said he talked to Serena? Probably not. "I am wondering what kind of explanation he gave you" He looked at Eva. "-for why he fucked Serena probably fifteen minutes after whatever conversation he had with you about me." Puck still wasn't willing to look at Morgan, and he was being messy and he shouldn't have said it, because Morgan should have told her but fuck him. All the shit he gave Puck for his shitty coping mechanisms, to turn around and reveal his whole fucking secret relationship with Serena, still made his blood boil.
BREE gasped in her seat next to Jake. "Morgan." She said with heavy disappointment in her voice. She hadn't seen that one coming.
EVA didn't know how he'd come to this conclusion, but she was sure that either his mom or someone with some sort of qualifications had gotten him there. He sure as hell hadn't figured that out on his own, and she would have been proud of him for it if she wasn't mad at him. But when he started to turn the focus on Morgan and mentioned an explanation from him, she was slightly confused since Morgan had told her he didn't know what his feelings for that little punk were. And she was still pissed at him too, but when Puck revealed the new information, she was almost positive that her blood had never boiled like it was now. She also hadn't known that the man could hurt her any worse than he already had, but boy was she fucking wrong. "You fucking asshole." She hissed as she finally turned to Morgan. "You looked me right in my face and gave me that whole speech about your stupid heart tying into knots when you're with us, how losing us — or me or him or whatever — would be the biggest mistake of your life, and how I was the fucking one just to go fuck her immediately after that?" Eva hissed as she glared at him, and she didn't even know how she was fighting back tears right now but she sure as hell wasn't about to let him see her cry ever again.
SANTANA was thankful that she had refilled her glass because all of these revelations were too much, even for her, and she hated that things were this bad. Gulping down the full contents of her glass, she was now annoyed because Eva was clearly too good for them. But it also took a bitch to know a bitch, and she could see right through Eva's tough exterior and knew she was on the verge of tears. As if there were ever a time to step in, it was now. "Jake, turn the camera off." She stated before she glanced between the two idiots. "If there were ever a time for you two to be actual men for once, it's now. She should walk out of here and never look back, so you might wanna say whatever you need to say before she does."
JAKE nodded and quickly turned the camera off, and even he was baffled at this now. And as much as he loved his brother, he couldn't exactly support him and Morgan repeatedly hurting someone who obviously didn't deserve it. "Just so we're clear, this is the last time I'll be involved in setting you three up. I thought I was bad but damn, you two don't even deserve her."
MORGAN looked between Eva and Puck, feeling his brows furrow as he listened to Eva come for Puck and his actions. Was it true? Yes. Did she have to tell him that harshly? Morgan's heart hurt, wanting to step in and cradle Puck's face into his chest, but he also wanted to kiss Eva's lips so hard, because the way she was taking control turned him on like crazy. Gulping, Morgan was about to step in, choosing to defend Puck, but then he was interrupted before he could even say a word, and the other man decided to completely throw him under the bus. Everything that he hadn't yet told Eva, because he was playing the balancing game of making her miss him, before confessing about his wrong-doing. His eyes looking between the two started panicking, and his ears started ringing, and Bree's disappointed 'Morgan' was fuzzy in his brain. But then Eva spoke up, and it was like his ears snapped back, her voice crystal clear and he gulped hard. It was like he had this little voice inside his head, constantly doubting whatever he was going to say next. "I can explain!" 'Can you?' "It's all a big misunderstanding!" 'Is it?' "I didn't mean any of it!" 'Didn't you?' "Can you guys just shut up for a second?!" He finally snapped, his voice loud, and it was mostly directed to the voices in his head, but he turned to Santana and Jake. Looking back at Puck and Eva, he took a step forward and ran a hand through his beard. "Listen. I had sex with Serena, after our lunch, Eva," he started, trying to calmly explain what had happened. "I didn't do it to hurt you, you have to believe that! I had invited her over, so that we could get things cleared up and so I could move on, and focus on the two of you. I don't know what happened, it's like everything became blurry after that, because I wasn't thinking. About anything. And I should've." He sighed and put his hands in his pockets. "I can't take it back now, but my mind's never been clearer. I meant what I said. I only want you two."
EVA honestly didn't need to hear shit else at this point, since Morgan crossing that line after their last conversation only solidified everything she'd said before. In fact, her mind her never been more made up than it was now. But when he raised his voice at them, both her and Santana made the exact same face, and she could tell the Latina was about to knock him upside his fucking head, just as she wanted to, but she waved her off dismissively. The last thing he needed was both of them about to throw hands, and she was sure that the odds had never been more in their favor. Just like the last time she'd seen him, there was more bullshit excuses coming her way, and she didn't hesitate to roll her eyes as he spoke. The audacity of him to come for Puck's excuse when he kept finding them for his actions too. Waiting until he was finished, she shook her head. "Right, so instead of doing like I told you to do and telling her what you told me, you fucked her? It didn't just happen because you weren't thinking, Morgan. You did it because you wanted to." That realization alone was enough to make her crack, but somehow, by some miracle, she held back her tears. For now. "Just like I said before, you both keep saying how you want this, how you're so sure of it now, but you both had to fuck someone else to be sure. I didn't. And honestly, all this proved was that even if we tried to do this, the second shit goes south or we have one fight, both of you are just gonna go stick your dicks in whatever hole gives you some attention. I deserve a lot better than that." Eva didn't really know what else she was even supposed to say now without repeating herself, so she stood back up and glanced between them. "I can't do this anymore, so I'm done. For good this time. You two can do whatever the fuck you want, but leave me out of it. I let both of you hurt me twice now, and I'll be damned if you do it ever again, so just stay away from me. Is that clear?"
MORGAN watched as Eva told him everything; everything that he'd done to fuck this up. She was coming for him, calling him out, and honestly, it was the truth. Morgan might've been dumb, but he could see exactly what she was saying, and it made sense to him. He had had sex with Serena because he'd wanted to, he had gone and stuck his dick in someone else, after a fight with Eva. And if anything, this just proved to him more that he needed to become a better man. That he needed to prove himself more. That this wasn't the end. If anything, it only made his desire for them stronger. "Eva..." he watched her stand up, wanting to say something, but not knowing what exactly. He needed his usual 3-4 business days to figure out what exactly he could do or say, in order to make any of this better.
PUCK could see the turmoil in Morgan, the realization that he was wrong, had been wrong but the fight to tell yourself you didn't mean it, that it wasn't you intention. That you weren't that guy because in your head you'd never treat someone you care about the way you're realizing you did. And Puck knew that's what was happening in his head because it's exactly what happened in his for weeks. listened while Eva spoke. Said everything Puck and Morgan deserved to hear. As everyone's voices filled his head, he felt a rage build up in him at Morgan, at himself too, but at Morgan more, but he was trying to decide if he had the right to say anything. Thankfully, Eva had plenty to say, to them both. All of it hurt but all of it true and when she said she couldn't do it anyone, he realized he had already accepted this outcome. Accepted that unless there was real change, provable change, in Morgan and Puck's coping mechanisms and behaviors, unless Eva had the time and the space to process and heal and rebuild herself, this was always going to end up here. For the first time, he finally understood why his mother told him as a child not to hold on so tight you squeeze the life out of what you're trying to hang on to. Nothing can grow in those conditions. While he had so much he needed to say to Eva he knew he couldn't say it now and even if he could she likely wouldn't hear it. So he simply turned to her and let his heart break as he looked at her, knowing the pain he caused. "I get it, and you're right, about all of it and imma stay away from you. I'll do everything I can to keep us from crossing paths again, not on campus, not anywhere." It hurt to say but it was the least he could do. Now, he needed to say something to Morgan and he wasn't all the way sure how. Getting up, he faced his- not his, cowboy, "She was my friend and you knew that. You could've picked anyone, but you picked my friend. Losing you and Eva is what I deserve, it's what I earned but Serena? I didn't earn that loss. And neither one of you cared enough about me to- to..." He trailed off, just staring at Morgan. Finally he looked away an at Santana, Bree and Jake. "Can I go?" He asked the three who set this up.
EVA honestly just needed to get out of here, get some air, and to move the fuck on from both of them. Morgan having nothing to say other than her name proved that he had nothing left to say right now, which made sense considering that he'd probably just run right back to Serena after this. And the Puck started talking and she didn't care what he had to say either. "Great, good to know you can commit to something." She muttered before she headed for the door, and Jake quickly jumped up and moved out of the way so she could leave.
SANTANA sighed as Eva left, and while the plan had gone off the rails, she had switched sides and was only rooting for Eva now. Well, she was rooting for Puck to get better and work through his shit, but romantically, she only cared about the woman in this throuple. Downing some more wine, she nodded at Puck's question. "Yeah, it's fine. I think you've said everything you needed to get off of your chest too, so no need to stay any longer." Not that he needed permission at this point anyways, but he had asked so she gave it to him.
JAKE wasn't for beating a dead horse so with Eva and now Puck being done, he was giving up on this throuple thing too. "Well, thank you both for coming anyways. And thank you for my birthday gifts. Sorry this didn't work out like we planned, but...good luck in whatever, or whoever, you do next, I guess?" He rambled, since he wasn't really sure what else to say. "I'll see you around, Morgan."
MORGAN's face resembled that of a kicked puppy, not knowing how to make any of this better. The way he'd not only ruined his relationship with Eva and Puck now, but he'd also come between Puck and Serena, knowing how the two were such good friends; at least that's what he figured based off of the fact that he'd caught him in her apartment that one time. But a part of him was screaming that this could be resolved. If he was stubborn enough; persistent enough. He loved them for crying out loud! He wasn't going to give up on them just yet. As he watched Eva leave, followed by Puck, Morgan sighed, and rubbed his temple in pure frustration. He had to think now, come up with something else, because he was pretty sure he'd cleaned out every single poppy and sunflower field in California in order to send them that crazy amount of flowers, so that wasn't an option until they'd grown back again. He had to think about his next move. What was the way to someone's heart? ... Eyes opening wide, Morgan looked at the three on-lookers and gave them an optimistic smile. "This was great, you guys, we should really do it again some other time, but I need to go, I have something- I have several things I gotta take care of." And with that, he ran out of the house, knowing exactly where to head next: his kitchen.
