let me start discourse about myki cards
#as someone who has been getting public transport almost every school day since i was 12 or some shit. i am passionate about it#pub transport is good actually. my favourite memory is consistently getting he same bus driver on my bus home from rehearsals#but one day i got the wrong bus and then had to get off and bolt for the bus stop to get the right bus#but id already put my metcard away and i couldnt fish it out but because he knew me just let me on. it was really nice#i never had that issue again but it was a very good experience for me. and i also miss collecting metcards i loved that#yea we were collecting them for someone ELSE but it was still fun to look at the jar and go 'fuck. thats a lot'#and i actually like myki. ive only lost one myki card and its because my mum made me put my bag away before i went shopping#so i was just holding the card in my hands and just. sorta dropped it at some point? because im an idiot child. its been 8 years buckp
