I woke up yesterday and could just read minds? It’s very unusual and very loud and very overwhelming. And to make matters worse this seems to transfer over digital devices, I can feel the thoughts of all the blogs I look at for the example. Even you, norm.

I kind of....doubt you can read mine. I'm in a little of a weird state as it is, to say nothing of psychic shielding materials around me.

On the off chance you actually can, I'd appreciate keeping it to yourself. Either way, let's get you checked in to Metacognition. There's a chance that we're seeing a form of psychic parasite. For context, this started as a joke to call some Christian phone number from a billboard, claiming I'm a former immortal trying to get that back and if I could talk to the big man upstairs for help.

But, since then I've been having dreams of myself throughout history, usually with other deities, both in human disguises and not. Granted, it's all bits and pieces, and very vague to the point that I still don't know my real name, if I had one or just a bunch of epithets people thought was my name. I do know I wasn't really part of any pantheon, since wanderlust was one of my domains.

So, my question is, is this my very active imagination, or do you think I could really be a former god that somehow became mortal. If the latter, I'd like to find a way to get my memories back, mainly so I know who to hunt once I'm immortal again. (The only one I know to go for is Zeus, because he's Zeus.)

I typically have vivid dreams that are memorable for a few days after I have them, but a little while ago, I had a weird one. I was in a half lucid state and was brought to a "resort" where my reality was made to be perfect, wherein whatever I wanted most was what was real and I never noticed extreme shifts in environments. Towards the end of the dream I was pushed through a door where I experienced what I've been describing as a "non-reality" where my perception was unbounded and flooded near infinite perspectives. Somewhere around this point I get the distinct feeling that a psychic entity of some sort is trying to make me give up who I am. I woke up but don't remember what I did after that realization and haven't dreamt in months now.

This has a lot of the markings of a psychic parasite or even predator, if I'm being honest.

By nature, beings like Outsiders or other metacognitive entities are hard to classify. We have more general groups of behavioral traits than species or types. This sounds like something Metacognition would call a Dreamspider grouping.

The first part was you being drawn into the web. Unlike a real spider it's a perfect world where nothing can go wrong - that's also due to the "venom", which is where it struck. Remember that it exists in more dimensions than we do, and is only intersecting at certain points. Metacognition theorizes it puts "webs" at those locations within the noospace of individuals, capturing natural psychic energy created and expended by dreams.

Book an appointment with Metacognition. This isn't an especially harmful one, but it'll be tough to clear out.

I think maybe I might have attracted some sort of psychic parasite, all I know is that I ran into a mosquito-like thing in a lucid dream, and since then I have been consistantly angry even when there is no cause.

It is very important that you very calmly book an appointment with Metacognition as soon as possible. You've attracted something that, if left unchecked, could have dire consequences. We may even have to come to you. Plexus Gliders are very serious.

In the meantime, please count to ten every time you feel angry, and if you see anything that looks like a metal spike, do not touch it. If you touch one or pick one up, you have about five minutes to lock yourself somewhere secure.
